Bed sheets were stained, AC cover comes off, room has a strong scent that gave everyone a headache, fridge wasnt clean and full of ice with stain. Room was dirty. Dont recommend this place.

We stayed for 3 nights. When arrived floors were sticky from dirt. Next day room was not cleaned at all.
I came to the desk office and asked to clean the next day and bring clean towels.
They came and made room up a bit. Looks like they made an attempt to wash floors, yet still, not sure what they did - sticky dirty stained floors. Oh and dirty bathtub.
Yes, it is not expensive place, but as easy as clean floors ...
Plus thin walls and you can hear every neighbor.
Overall - very dirty place. Nice people.

La habitación y el lugar todo bien, limpieza, espacio del cualquier y la alberca aunque no entre se miraba limpia…. Lo único malo es el ruido, las ventanas están tan delgadas que se escucha todo el ruido de afuera muy fuerte, creía estaba mi ventana abierta y cual fue mi sorpresa al ver que estaba cerrada. La gente hizo mucho ruido hasta altas horas de la noche, clientes con sus perros ladrando y gritando hasta las 2-3 am. Yo sé no pueden tener un control sobre el comportamiento de la gente, pero tal vez deberían revisar las ventanas para que el ruido sea menos.

The staff are polite and very accommodating. The furniture is worn though rooms are clean. The walls are thin. I had a couple having a nasty domestic dispute in next door room for a few minutes that woke me up, but resolved quickly.

The smell of marijuana was very strong and extremely unpleasant. Also, the door to my room was very difficult to open. I had to go downstairs to do laundry and again to use the dryer, and it made me feel very unsafe and anxious about leaving my room.
I asked about that to a front desk stuff and he changed the card key, but still didn't go well.

My experience was not pleasant due to the condition of the room.I found mold in the shower and noticeable dirt buildup in areas including the soap holder where there was soap residue that appeared not to have been cleaned for some time.There was dust on the floor hairs and dust behind the doors.I also found eyelashes between the bed sheets.I arrived at the hotel late and was very tired so I did not initially notice these issues.The room smelled clean which gave the impression that it had been properly serviced and I did not inspect it closely at that time.However it later became clear that housekeeping may not be paying close attention to certain areas such as behind doors and it appeared that the bedding may not have been properly changed.When I checked out I informed the front desk associate who was very kind and provided me with the manager’s business card. I spoke with the manager San Barot today.He advised that because I did not book the room directly through the hotel, there was nothing he could do and suggested that I contact you directly.I explained that my intention is not simply to complain but rather to express my concern.As a guest I expect the room to meet basic cleanliness standards especially considering the amount paid.I understand that management cannot personally inspect every room it is important to bring these matters to their attention.Given the condition of the room I do not feel it is fair to pay the full amount charged.I have pics to provide. Thank you

Check in went well, but afterwards not so well. As I made my way to the room, I noticed the outdoor trash can were full and overloaded. When I entered the room, it smelled nice. As I made my way to the ice bucket it was filthy. The shampoo and body wash containers were empty in the shower. I left for the evening and upon my return (5hrs) the trash cans were still overloaded and all through the next day at check out remained the same. There were dead crickets the room at the entrance. There was no hand wash either. The AC had a fungus Oder and made me cough through the night. A portion of tv was held by tape. Although the hotel says breakfast provided, it was only yogurt and muffins and the dining area was dirty. The bed sheets had hair/lent chunks.

There was no hot tub on site as advertised, and the pool/non-working hot tub were pretty icky. \"Breakfast\" was small, individually packaged muffins (chocolate or blueberry), small yogurt, and coffee. Pictures make the property look much nicer than it actually is. They also charged the card the morning of arrival (before we actually got there) when I had chosen to pay at the hotel. At least parking was free, and the Internet worked well.

Thee worst! Was looking forward to the stay because reviews were decent compared to others in the area. I recieved a pre check in email 4 hours before my arrival as I was flying in. I filled it out. At some point during my commute to the hotel they tried to charge my card without me giving consent. My bank caught it and blocked the charge. When I arrived at the hotel to pay in person and check in. The front desk informed me they canceled my reservation and they were sold out. Canceled my reservation without a courtesy call or anything. The rep was not helpful.

All other hotels had tripled in cost because I had booked days before. I just drove around and end up going to something mess in the area.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I booked for two nights. Unfortunately, I had to request a refund due to the unacceptable condition of the room. The room was extremely dirty — there was a spider on the bed, dust and trash behind the nightstand, and it was obvious that the cleaners do not clean thoroughly at all. The bathroom was disgusting, with hair all over the walls. This is not what anyone expects when checking into a hotel. I do not recommend staying here and would avoid this place at all costs.

This had to be the worse hotel experience I ever had, I went to chulavista for a Family funeral, and had the worst experience ever, as soon as I was going up the elevator, I got a bad whiff of people smoking you know what, and the rooms smelled like that too, it lookalike the hotel knows because the try to cover it with pinesol but it still smells very bad, I called the front office and I told them I couldn’t stay there, because I also saw a lot of girls getting picked up and arriving with different man, while we were waiting at the parking lot for other family members, I said, I don’t think it’s a safe environment because I have a family , I came with my kids to stay at a hotel, for couple days for the funeral , and I told them I could stay this night because I am here and tired coming from 6 hour drive , but can you cancel tomorrow and the guy said yes just come in the office tomorrow, when I get there the next day, the guy said no I can’t give you the money back, even when I explain the situation, he wanted me to give me a different room I said no that’s no going to change anything, my niece that was staying there with her kids also came to the office and was told the Same that they couldn’t give her the money back for cancellation, I called the third party company that I paid for hotel and they said they were going to try to get my refund back to don’t work about it , if it wasn’t safe I didn’t have to stay there, I just got an email of Expedia saying I lost my refund 😡

It was awful. I left immediately and did not stay. This place caters to weekly renters, not vacation or business travelers. There were lots of people hanging out in the parking lot in PJs and robes.The room smelled strongly of chemical cleaners. The room remodel was cheap. I made a huge mistake booking this. I went to my room, got online and got another reservation at another place, then went downstairs to hand in my key. I did not stay.

Check in was great, we even received our room earlier. However , the disappointing part was that a dep was taken for Incidentals and the room was below expectation. The door deadbolt would not lock as of the door was broken into before and fixed. This was a safety issue. The curtain had multiple holes in it as if burned prior or moth . The mattress cover had stained paw prints on it. The room smelled as if there was previous smoke.the base boards were cracked and not repaired correctly. The outside of the bullring was loud and a car was speeding through the parking lot multiple times during the hours of 1-5pm.

I’ve had a really good stay at the Days Inn in Chula Vista. The staff here is truly the highlight—everyone has been kind, respectful, and genuinely helpful. From the front desk to housekeeping, people go out of their way to make sure you’re okay and comfortable, and that means a lot when you’re away from home.

The location is convenient and easy to get around from, with shopping, food, and transportation close by. It feels safe, walkable, and quiet enough to actually rest. Parking is easy, which is a big plus, and everything you need is nearby.

Overall, this place has been a positive experience for me, mostly because of the people who work here. Good service makes all the difference, and they really deliver that here. I’m grateful for the kindness and care I’ve been shown during my stay.

I booked two rooms for two nights through Hotels.com, and this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The rooms smelled strongly of dog urine and marijuana. Although the front desk said all rooms were non-smoking, there was clear marijuana smoke coming from the rooms next to us.

The area felt very unsafe, with police frequently coming to the hotel. On the second day, a man staying next door was arrested, which was very disturbing.

Despite paying a higher price due to the holiday season, the “free breakfast” was very limited—only coffee, tea, yogurt, and bread. The hotel said they were short-staffed because of the holiday, which does not make sense given the higher rates. I would never stay here again.

When I showed up I checked in and the check-in . We went up to the room which was 215 second floor. We got undressed put our shorts on to go to the hot tub I stuck my foot in the hot tub and it was freezing cold. The reason why I booked this hotel was because it had a hot tub and I wanted to be able to relax. That was the first thing that went wrong. We went back upstairs figured that I'd watch some TV with my daughter who will only get to see every other weekend. We turn on the TV start flipping through channels we realize that they didn't have Wi-Fi so we can put Netflix on so we just watch the regular TV 10 minutes into the program the screen turns black but the ideal continues to run so we could hear the TV but we can't see it I try to troubleshoot it that's why I ended up turning off the TV turning it back on and it happened again now we're frustrated and we just used our phones to watch Netflix. We're getting ready for bed so I decided that I was going to take a shower, I get in the shower turn the water on wait till it gets hot then I realize being in the shower and start getting too hot so I went to turn it down so I didn't get burned and the handle to the faucet falls off now I'm getting burnt by the heat from the water I jump out immediately try to cool off and then start fishing for the faucet handle I figured it out after a couple tries and I turned off. And then breakfast was a meal for a child extra small yogurt extra small muffin and coffee very disappointed
