The hotel was pleasant enough but quite dated. The decor is beige and again dated springs to mind, room facilities are basic there are no usb ports, no plug for the bath, no iron and ironing board in the room, it lacks finishing touches. The spa was closed but this was not made clear prior to booking. On the positive side staff servicing the room were very pleasant and considerate and the room cleanliness was of a high standard.

Your Three Star hotel with 1 star breakfast buffet

This is a budget three star hotel at best. The breakfast honestly is dismal...I think we paid 15 euros each but such few options.

I would be interested to hear what others make of their breakfast buffet. The worse i have experienced in any hotel i have stayed.

Good Hotel

Good hotel wide rooms good beds private bathroom with banio. Near to Chevahir mall and 30 min walk to Zorlu mall, lot of resturants and shops near buy. Cov19 pcr can be done in rooms on demand on additional cost.

Furnituers are becoming old but in good condition.

Resturant opposite side of the hotel is ver expensive compare to other restaurants.

They gave the wrong room as they mentioned in the picture and detail during purchases, bed was 2 single and I requested queen size, they didn’t provide me blanket and weather was too cold in the night, they didn’t pickup my call on 2am night and I needed water. Very bad experience sorry to say that

A pleasant stay

From check-in to check-out, everything was great. 5 stars modern hotel with parking space. Good location, restaurants outside the hotel.
Clean specious quiet room, with wifi. Room service available.

The only thing that requires improvement is the gym; it’s small with few equipments only.

I would definitely stay there again and I do recommend this hotel.

Central Air condition pumps our heavily polluted Air mixed with cigarette smoking!! I never e oeriebce these before. We were told that because it was a smoking room. This smokes comes from the whole floor through the ventilation system (not through the door)., we both we ill with sinusitis and allergy as the smoking dose was very heavy, heavier than any old pub of coffee in 80s. We are shocked. This seems to be designed to intoxicated people as there was no fresh air at all in the system but nicotine and and smoke.. Still recovering from the illness.
The technician came round and advised this was a smoking room!!! He then opened a side door in the corridor to ventilate the 5 star hotel!! Shocking ..
We changed to another floor for our last night (4th).. Thought to write a complaint to Health minister and Tourism ministry and environment but not sure about their interest and language issues

The hotel is small and might be 4 stars but not 5.

Very noisy at night till morning as ppl are liwrd to play music and shout

The worse hotel i have ever stayed in

it has been the worse experience in my life, it was traumatizing. The rooms were dirty, with old furnitures, dirty rugs, the staff were not helpful the receptionist had very bad attitude and rude. We had to change our room 3 times, once the TV was not working it took them an hour to come and try and fix it then they took us to another room. There was a wedding/ party upstairs our room. It was too much noise that we weren’t able to sleep till 1 oclock. I called the reception several time they kept saying it will finish in 20 minutes which it didn’t. Even when i said we paid to come and rest here he was rude and told me they paid to do their wedding more. Finally at 1 we moved to a different room this one it was clearly written on the heater that is it was not working. So we just managed to sleep and next day i left as soon as i woke up. THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN.

- Room for 3 but only two bath towels

- Room was too hot and was told we couldn’t get A/C because other rooms on same floor wanted Heat
- My wife was told to pay extra for breakfast because it was not included, it actually was included at reservation
- Room was junior suite for 3, my adult daughter had to sleep on a rollaway bed, small uncomfortable
- Another patron at breakfast told our wedding group to not talk so loud, it disturbed him

We booked 2 rooms 3 hrs before the check in time. When we arrived, they said we can not find your reservation in our system because it is Sunday, our reservation staff doesn’t work, we are busy etc.
anyway, after 30 minutes the receptionist lady started the check in. While entering our passport info, she was reposing to the phone.
The bathroom smells bad, WiFi speed in the room is terrible. We asked for silverware and tooth brush 3 times but they never send us anything to the room.
Make the story short, I do not recommend this hotel. In fact even 2 stars is too much for this hotel.

Room very small and extremely dirty carpet . Very average breakfast. Washroom had smell . I left my perfume in the room which I’m inquiring was told that it wasn’t found . Pool was good but close too early at 6:30. Location is good. We were provided with an extra bed without extra charges which was a good gesture. Hardly stayed did one night due to untidiness and lack of charging socket for IPhone . And only on arrival day wAter two water bottles were complimentary rest charged which was really strange . On inquiring to provide any American power plug I was told to charge my fone with tv. 😱 No do not disturb sign . The room cleaning opens the door without any knock .

I would say 3 stars hotel not 5. Rooms are old and toilet stinks. You can hear the next room neighbour's cough. Service really bad. I called the reception 5 times to get extra blankets, they kept promising to bring it but never came. There was once a wedding and we could not sleep that night.

It's very old needs a lot of maintenance
Very noisy they have a gem. In the first-floor with very loud and noisy music from the early morning
Also no insulation between the rooms you can hear what's going in another room like its happening in your room

Don't try this hotel until it's your last choice and you have no option.

The hotel staff seemed like they hated their job. They gave me the wrong information and, pretended to do me a favor and getting me a taxi whereas they make deals with taxi drivers and overcharge customers. They also charged me a different amount everyday for breakfast when it was the same buffet. They refused to credit my account back for the deposit money they took and demanded i take 200TL instead. I had to change rooms twice because the internet was nor working. The bed sheets were not clean and there was dust everywhere. By far, the worst experience ever.

As soon as you walk into the lobby there is a awful smell. Hotel staff are rude we requested an extra bed in our booking and took them 3hrs or more to bring it to our room after telling the hotel manager. The extra bed was disgusting and broken. The room we had also had a bad smell. If you tied up a dog in that hotel it will find a way to escape and never return. Expedia should get that hotel off there list cause it definitely is not a 5 star hotel i wouldnt even give it a 1 star

Problem with noise control and smoking

Predominantly , local and middle eastern people stay here.
They do not care about the no smoking sign. There are no smoke free rooms.
People tend to scream and yell in the hall ways any time during the day.

I have no comparison with other hotels in Istanbul. My room was clean and comfortable. I loved the soaking tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I facilitated a five day training there and the Seminar room was well equipped and functional, and the catering was great. The hotel is a few years old and it may show in some rooms. I would be very happy to stay there again. And the Italian restaurant out of the hotel up the street and the next street to the right is fantastic. I ate there almost ever night.

I was disappointed. I changed hotel in the middle of my staying in Istanbul. Very dirty... clothes that wasn’t mine under the bed, the floor at bread crumbs, bathroom sink was dirty and small spot of blood... the carpet in the hotel hall wasn’t clean.

So pool was closed ( they said its winter but its so hot so why not open the door to pool)? Al so they cannot speak English well, which is a problem and the wifi isnt as good as other 5* hotels. Cups were not clean and they seemed annoyed that I complained. Room service guy seemed to not like me, not sure why?The bell boy was very helpful so i tipped him! Its more like a 4* hotel

Definitely not a 5 star hotel, I'll say 3 star. The problem I had in my stay was the AC, it never worked they kept telling they'll fix it but then I found out it actually was not turn off for all of the hotel to save money. They told me to keep the windows open.

Positive :1- price 2- location 3- quite area 4- room size is big 5- price again
And don't forget to get a nice kefta sandwich from the food truck behind the taxi station near the hotel.

Negative 1- very small bed (you may need to blanket) 2- you hear the people in the next room very well 3- internet is very bad. 4- you may smell food or smoke through the AC

Nice hotel close to the main attractions

I enjoyed my staying and very happy with the hotel stuff who genuinely helpful. Regarding to the location, Hotel is very close to Cevahir Shopping mall ( one of the mega shopping malls in Istanbul) which is a walking distance. I would like to stay there again next time.

This hotel should be a basic 3 star hotel. It does not look like a 5 star hotel at all as stated on its website and hotel.com. I have traveled all around the world but have not seem such a pathatic and dirty 5 star hotel. During 4 night stay with my family noticed that the room was very unclean, carpet in the room was full of stains, appliance (microwave, fridge etc) covered in dirt, door locks were very old so often jammed, noisy doors, wifi very slow, curtains smaller then window sizes, lobby & walkways carpet seems never been washed full of huge stains, poor room service, house-keeping very poor, saw hairs on toilet floor when when checked-in. 99% staff does not understand English therefore always unresponse when pointed out these problems, it is not a family hotel at all, only reception staff can moderately understand English, breakfast was no way near the standard of a 5 star hotel. As per my understanding this hotel should be delisted from hotel.com until above hilighted issue are resolved. As this hotel not only cares to give appropriate service to its guest as mention while booking but also tarnishing the reputation of hotel.com.

PLZ PLZ PLZ DON'T FALL FOR THE PICTURES!!!!

This place build long ago, from carpet to ceiling terrible. Free WIFI, hardly works. Carpets are old and terrible smell. I travel a lot but so far never stayed any 5 Star hotel with 2 star condition. I am sad very sad. Unfortunately i reserved for 4 nights and i had to stay. I also have no idea why they asked for 100 Lira as a security deposit??? No explanation whatsoever.

if the pictures are right, they gave me their not renovated room or their worse room in entire building.

Breakfast was very expensive so don't try ! They serve one tiny bottle of water for 4 days of stay in a dirty room.

Small room, small bath, phone is not working and even when fix it no body response from reception only one time from 20 tries so I had to go down to reception every time need something , towels not new ones and material not good, don't worth the money I paid

Reasonable For Family Vacation

As a 5 Star Hotel , the quality of services is poor, very old building but their renewal it still is old , Morning's shift reception is very professional on his job , perfect English speaking, try to provide the best customer service and assists hotel guests. Very good and complete breakfast table unfortunately the staff hadn't reacted in a nice way with guests (as poor English and not able to talk English only Turkish). Attention Please : very poor internet connection and just you are allowed to connect one device in each room with one user ID and pass , very old door access card technology and doesn't work properly (during i stayed in their i had change about 10 cards to open my room door, very small swimming pool , bad housekeeping as a super deluxe room no dress towel for number of room guests , no bottled water and ..... Totally from my point of view i can give them 6/10 only !

We arrived at 1:15 Check in time was suppose to be at 2 but we didn't get a room untill 3:10 they kept saying that they're cleaning the rooms. On the hotel amenities they listed that they have free breakfast but when we got there they said no we have to pay for breakfast even though we showed them on the website they listed at as free.staff was not friendly at all I was waiting for about 5 minutes while two of them were arguing and I had to interrupt them and say can you help me first then argue so they stopped and answered my questions about WI FI. There is no Gym they said its under construction.

Stayed 1 Night and Had a Very Pleasant Experience

After walking into the hotel, dripping wet from the rain, I was warmly greeted by the reception staff. They quickly checked me in as I explained that I am currently living in Istanbul, but since my flat hasn't had electricity for the past 2 days - I just wanted to stay in a hotel to be comfortable and get some rest. They were very kind and put me on the 8th floor (business level).

The room was clean and comfortable - I slept quite nicely. Would definitely recommend to business travelers & families!

location is in the medal of everything especially shopping

It was nice and the breakfast is good the staff is helpful one thing is that the call prise is high even for local calls one min is 9$

Comfortable big city hotel

Stayed here with Globus \"Turkish Delight\" Tour in April - May. Good combination tourist / business hotel with VERY nice pastry /.lunch place nearby. Also, ATMs & a Burger King nearby.. Taxis easily available. Service personal very helpful & friendly, breakfast buffet plentiful & attractive.
Our tour welcome dinner excellent.

What was 5 stars about the hotel??

The hotel lobby area and resturant were well presented, but the bedrooms let the hotel down, very basic for a 5 star and a sewage smell which wasn't nice!!
I didn't find the staff very friendly.

Decent Hotel but Poor Location

Decent hotel but not a very convenient location. Some staff were very helpful & accommodating while others were less and had difficulty conversing in English.

every thing is poor there

i never recommend this hotel as 5 star hotel,
poor breakfast
old room and old furnished
they have to renew it completely to it can be 3 star with the exist situation

Convenient and reasonable priced!

The hotel staff is very polite and helpful. The hotel is located in the business/mall area of the city. There is public transportation (bus) to get to Old Town; however, it takes about an hour. Taxi are also available at a reasonable price (20 to 25 liras) As others have mentioned, the hotel needs to change the room carpets.
