The hotel is a little north of downtown Old City, but very easy to reach by public transit.

The staff were friendly. Our room was nicely sized and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom had a rainfall showerhead. It would have been nice to have a moveable makeup mirror.

This was a nice hotel and we would stay again

The room itself was fine and the staff were very nice throughout my stay. However, I really wish there had been more in-room entertainment options. I stayed for six nights, and it would have made a big difference if the TV offered streaming capabilities or at least more English channels beyond news.

Additionally, the refrigerator in my room wasn’t working. The staff did offer to fix it, but I didn’t end up taking them up on it.

Overall, a decent stay with friendly service, but the room amenities could use some upgrades. It was a bit dated. Also the housekeeper was great! I mostly had my do-not-disturb on, but she was eager to clean and replenish towels, slippers, tissues and water as needed.

Only one thing we didn’t like there is big puller in the middle of bedroom and next to bed. It was room number 610. I informed receptionist but they didn’t give me any option to change room therefore we had to stay as it is. We stayed 4 nights.

The DoubleTree was a great stay close enough to the key sites and ferries that gaining access was easy but far enough away, that we missed the crowds, traffic and noise. There is a subway station stop about a 10 minute walk away that drops you off near the Grand Bazaar and Spice Bazaar and is a nice walk to Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque.

The staff was attentive and friendly, particularly the team at the front desk and the breakfast/evening dining team. The food quality was extremely good, and I had the same dish at dinner twice because it was so good. There are also dining options nearby; we went to Asaka for amazing dumplings and beef noodles.

You can use the hotel laundry service and there is another option less than a five minute walk away. There is a grocery store, Starbucks, pharmacy and other shops in the same building with the laundry.

We had a great 11 days at the DoubleTree and highly recommend it!

We stayed there for 5 nights. Property was clean , staff very helpful and friendly. Eren, one of the staff helped us while checking out with Uber and suitcases👍 excellent breakfast. Pool was under construction but spa and Bath was open. Salma was friendly and nice at Turkish Bath.

Our family of four are all satisfied with the condition and services we received in DoubleTree Istanbul Gayrettepe. The staffs are all friendly and helpful. I recently stayed at this hotel, and I must say, it was an amazing experience. The rooms are impressively spacious, providing plenty of room to relax. The air conditioners are exceptionally strong, keeping the rooms perfectly cool. The shower is a real highlight, being both wide and offering consistently warm water with excellent pressure.

Most of all I liked the staff at this hotel. Very professional, helpful, nice and courteous. Hotel lobby wasn't very well designed to spend time at. There is not much to do around the hotel and one should walk about 20 minutes to reach some good locations. There is a mall very close to the hotel that can be helpful in case of emergency needs or shopping for leaisure.

It is a nice and luxury hotel in the central European side of Istanbul. There are tons of restaurants in the area. But the hotel looks at a major intersection of a busy bridge. Once you step outside you can smell the strong smog and the rooms overlooking the front of the hotel are noisy even with windows closed. Breakfast is acceptable. Gym is nice and useable.

Disappointing spa, the pool was cold and the Turkish bath had a weird smell. The room was okay, view was pretty average and the hotel isn’t so far away from the tourist areas. Free warm cookie on reception was a nice touch though.

Nice hotel , very clean . Ar conditioner was not working , the room was very hot . I asked the service to fix it and that was taking so long . I have hard time to sleep at 2 second nights because the room temperature, it’s was stressful for me and my wife because we have my little bay together with us . She’s can’t sleep as well, the room was very uncomfortable.

The service is amazing and the staff are super helpful and friendly! Front desk helped us many times. The hotel is very clean. Sometimes it is a bit hard to find a taxi to all the touristy destinations and it is about a 35 min drive. All attractions are further away. The beds are not comfortable and the bathrooms are pretty dim. I wish all other places had service and people like them!!! Thank you dear managers for making us feel so welcome!

We had a wonderful stay at this Doubletree. I had missed the cookies!! The reception staff were super welcoming and helpful (Ramzan, Murat, and all the rest). They always greeted us with a smile on our way out, and back in. The Breakfast Buffet was sumptuous to say the least, and the staff were wonderful too (Ozgur, Erhan, Emre, and the two other blond men, also the lady, I can’t remember their names). The room was wide, and everything was comfortable. The Doubletree “Crabtree & Evelyn” amenities never disappoint. All in all, wonderful experience. Thank you all for the great stay.

Kind service from first second till the end

It was amazing to stay here. For me kind personal, care services, room comfort are reasons of my appreciation. On the other hand, even belows aren't cause me to be regret for staying here. You should take these accounts, Breakfast is not perfect as I excepted from Doubletree and their airport transport offer is really expensive compared to other premium taxi services. Hotel location perfect for shopping centers and metro station is 8 min distance from there. Overall I am glad to opt here for my family stay.

Reasonably central location. Friendly, efficient welcome and check-in. Rooms comfortable. Tv and wifi excellent. Bathroom had all conveniences. Room was a little noisy at night, as Hotel located beside an expressway. Breakfast was unusual in these covid times, as they just provide you everything they have, and I would not have ordered half of it. There must be a lot of waste. There was a supermarket and restaurants located within metres of the Hotel, and taxis easily sourced.

Nice cozy hotel in convenient location near to Šišli. Very friendly staff all over, Hezar at reception, the bell captains, yehya of housekeeping and front desk manager, waiteress of Zeytınyalı Restaurant,all were so kind, helpful and friendly.
Problem with free internet connection, that needs to login with details and credentials every day, even if your stay is longer , it should last till the end of your stay.
Shower water drainage is somewhat slow.
All else was more then perfect.

Pick this place last minute, i booked the 2 bedroom suite. Let me say it was so much better than i expected, the previous reviews on here i think are from people who can never be satisfied. A 5 star hotel, with english speaking staff, its location is perfect close to restaurants, a mall and a supermarket literally next door. But its far enough out to not be in the middle of the busy side of sisli. Honestly loved my stay so much, i dont often write reviews but i enjoyed it too much to not write one. The swimming pool was closed if i was to say one bad thing but then again its like that for all hotels cause of covid now. So all in all 10/10!

The hotel location is great. Close one of the popular malls and shops. Fairly nice and quiet area. Some restaurants close by, the room service was okay could be improve. Food is served at room temperature not sure why? The hotel is well decorated and gives a cozy feeling. It is close to the highway and my room window was right there so it was hard for me to sleep past a certain time. As for tourism it is quiet a distance from the tourist places ( grand bazar blue mosque etc). They have no shuttle to the airport but the butler will call you a cab if you ask for it.
I did like that they had a good selection of channels not just turkish channels which was a break.

Nice hotel. Amazing staff. My only complaint is that although we were given a nonsmoking room, It smelled like cigarette smoking coming from the vents. Bathroom was fabulous. Loved the shower. Fitness center was also great. Location is not ideal but the hotel is 5 stars.
