What a beautiful place! Room was lovely, the attached patio was even better. Great amenities, light breakfast with coffee in the mornings, music in the evening, mountain views, free kayaks! If you are thinking about staying away from the hustle of the other side of the island, do it!! It was incredible!

This is such a beautiful location. Would have given 5 stars but they were doing roof repairs directly above us during 2 of the 4 days we were there. Taking a nap after traveling on that first day was not possible. But otherwise, the staff are super friendly, the location is amazing, the resort amenities are great and it’s not crowded from tourists.

We will certainly return!!!

The outdoors was beautiful. There was a weather alert and we were still charged 45.00 daily resort fee we couldn't use. Pool Was ice cold. We couldn't swim once the weather got better. I asked for more coffee pods the next day and they told me I had to pay 1.50 per pod. When we did get the room cleaned they replaced them for nothing. ughh.. parking is very difficult when they are busy. Lots of stairs. Great location on Kaneohe bay.

The location was great. It was out of the hustle and bustle but still close enough to be a fairly short drive to main attractions of the island. The room was a little dated and showed a lot of wear. The bed was super comfortable but the roosters crowing 2 hours before daylight was off-putting. Also, the neighbors smoking pot outside our window and filling our room with smoke was a bit much. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

This resort is a GREAT place if you're seeking something off the beaten path that's quiet with great scenery. There aren't lot of restaurants close by and you'll want to have a car. Rooms are older and not a lot of amenities but the overall setting and level of service are top tier.

The room wasn’t great. We had to pull the bed out to get at plug ins. There was only one luggage rack and no room for two suitcases (and we only had carryons) in the bedroom. It was good there was a dresser, I unpacked into that. Many large gaps in the flooring. The kitchen was very minimally stocked, not even a plug for the sink to properly wash dishes or a washcloth to wipe up. One of the outside bar stools was so rickety as to be unusable and a shelf in the bathroom was coming out of the wall. Plus there are gaps behind the shelves so stuff can fall through. Hot water for the shower was basically non existent. We had it cranked to full hot every time and never had to turn it down. A couple of times it was lukewarm at best. Can only assume there’s a regulator of some kind because the taps for the sinks had hotter water. Lighting at night is lacking as well as room direction signage. Knowing where to find our room in the dark the first night was a challenge.

All that said, the lobby area was great, banana bread, coffee, fruit and water dispenser wonderful. Having use of kayaks, the floating dock area and hot tub (a little small) were also great features and the views absolutely gorgeous. Staff were friendly and helpful, cleanliness and parking not an issue for us. Would we come back? Hmm, not sure.

What an awesome little gem. Yoga in the morning followed by a hot tub. Kayaks and SUP boards to float around in the afternoon. We took a 2-person kayak out to the sandbar and had turtles swimming under us! At the end of the day there is live music on the deck. Great spot

1. At the check-in time the front desk asked us to pay the full amount even she knew that we had paid the first night upon the policy. After her manager showed up upon our request, and corrected her earlier standing she neither admitted her incorrectness nor any apology but appearing like a doll. Her manager didn't show her due politeness either but saying her employee knew everything.
2. When we entered the room we found no facial tissues, no conditioner in the shower bottle, and the floor obviously was not cleaned in advance. And in the bathroom a set of clothes found left by the previous customers and no employee noticed until we reported.
3. A broken coil mattress made 1/3 of bed unfit to sleeping. No spared mattress available when we showed it to the manager. A poor amenities exists in the room including a very noisy AC and a half broken bread toaster, as well as many roosters started to crow at dawn literally made us no good sleeping during the entire 4-night stay.
4. No everyday cleaning is provided unless registering the the day before. In fact we didn't call up a cleaning during our entire 4-night staying to avoid an inconvenience.
5. Although a free parking offered for a VIP customer like us the parking lot downhill was very hard to access because its awful steep slope and slippery road surface.
6. We'd like to point out not everything was bad of our impression. We had another manager and front desk showing their due politeness.

Excellent room and resort location. I’ll definitely be a return guest at Paradise Bay. Next time, I’ll take advantage of the kayaks and yoga activities on site. I absolutely loved my stay in Kaneohe, especially the day I spent at Kualoa Ranch and dinners at Haleiwa Joe’s in Haiku. Luckily, I was able to get around the Windward Side using a combination of the bus and ride sharing, but will probably rent a car next time.

The rooms were large and the beds very comfortable. Lovely patio. Kitchen amenities were great. Small upgrades should be made. Switches didnt work, some were falling into the wall. Definitely a safety hazard. The pool was nice. Kayaks were a great plus. When you look at the ads online they are deceiving. No yoga on a float on the ocean. Doesn't look anything like the ads. The area is devoid of any decent restaurants. All fast food. There was a huge drawback. All in all is was okay. We had 2 rooms and I would say the same about both. Staff was friendly.

This location is INCREDIBLE! Soooo beautiful, quiet, way from commercialism, and so close to so many things: Grocery Stores, diners, food trucks, the Polynesian Cultural Center, and North Shore. In the resort itself, that FILTERED WATER DISPENSER is so wonderful! Also, the morning coffee & banana bread made our stay just pure delight. We love the property.

The resort was very clean. We enjoyed using the kayaks and stand up board for exploring the bay. Pool and hot tub were great. Staying in Kaneohe was nice to be out from busy Honolulu area. We did hear roosters crowing very early in the morning, but we got used to it. Beds were comfortable. Coffee in lobby with fresh banana bread every morning was delicious.

Beautiful property perfect for people who want peace and quiet. The boat experience was great just $$. The resort amenities were limited at best and you will be paying a hefty resort fee. The coffee and banana bread was great. WiFi good. Staff was great (the best part). CONS: I was expecting a lot more in the room. It was bare bones similar to a motel 6 in a small town. If you plan to spend any time more than sleeping in your room this will not be the place for you. Bottom line: if you like to adventure about and spend your days outdoors this might be the perfect spot.

Needs renos. 2 wine glasses for 4 people, with 1 of the glasses chipped. Old appliances, old furniture, bed was too soft, pillows no support, cramped room because they fit a king bed mattress into a room that can't accommodate it, no sugar or milk for coffee Nespresso pods provided in the room, extra for parking $18/night unless it's included in your reservation, cleaning was sub par, A/C unit was old, rusted and didn’t work at all, property is showing it's age and not worth the price tag.

This is a quiet little gem. Off the tourist path and scenery is spectacular. Enjoyed listening to Uncle Danny kanikapila. Tea, banana bread and coffee were yummy.
Driveway, parking and stairs are a bit intimidating but just go slow. It is worth it. Am afraid to tell others about this wonderful place because I don’t want it to change. I will come again.

We were greeted and our unit was ready for us. They left a bottle of wine for us to celebrate my birthday. It was a quiet resort perfect for escaping the chaos of the bigger resorts in the big island. The amenities were wonderful. We kayaked, took the boat trip with captain Dawn and Jelly, enjoyed uncle Dan and fresh warm banana read every morning. Our 5 day, 6 night stay was awesome and felt too short! Our stay was wonderful. It’s not a fancy resort, everything is very rustic and if you’re expecting service like you would receive in other resorts, you won’t get it here. Which suited us fine as we like to be left alone. The property is beautifully maintained with roosters and cats running around. It gives you the real island vibe. The rooms could do with an update, the furniture is basically garden furniture and very uncomfortable. That being said you don’t spend that much time inside when the outside is so beautiful. The morning banana bread with coffee will be missed, it was incredible! I would recommend this resort to anyone coming to Oahu, just be aware not to expect luxury but it’s worth the trade off for authenticity.

Paradise Bay is a quaint little location away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. It’s a cute place to stay.

The building is older, so there are some challenges that come with that. The rooms have box air conditioning; the room we stayed in was a two bedroom. The third room only had a ceiling fan so it was quite warm the entire timeespecially with the humidity. There are steep steps to get to the different areas including most rooms, so be away of that if it is an issue for you. There were tiny bugs in the bathroom and kitchen. The most frustrating thing was the towel situation. We had a two bedroom that slept at least four people and were checked in for three people but there were only two bath towels. There was a lengthy process of calling in to get towels, having someone pick them up, and then having new towels delivered. They would not give additional towels so that we had enough for each person. We worked around it by using the pool towels which were easier to get.

The room that we choose had a full kitchen with refrigerator or, microwave, microwave ouster, and cook to9. There are BBQs on site too.

If you want to use kayaks/SUP/snorkel be sure to reserve potentially days in advance to make sure they are available.

There are adorable chickens and cats roaming around which add a bit of fun to the experience; but one of the guys seems to think 1am is something to crow about so if you are a light sleeper you may want ear plugs. Or fried chicken.

I really enjoyed staying at Paradise Bay, it was literally paradise! You come down the street wondering if you're in the right place, you walk into the front desk area and wow the beauty that greets you! Hated the roosters, but that is the Hawaiian experience. Bring a white noise machine and ear plugs and your set for a comfortable night of sleeping. The morning yoga, the floating docks, the beautiful pool is great for night swims, and the deliciously banana bread and coffee in the morning. I loved it all, the rooms might not be fancy but they were perfect, loved having the choice to cook and warm up leftovers.

Our stay at Paradise Bay was absolutely perfect. It was such a treat to escape the hustle and bustle and unwind in a peaceful, serene, and beautiful setting. Our kids loved everything about it—the wild chickens, the snorkel gear, the stand-up paddle boarding, and just exploring the area.

Everything about the resort exceeded our expectations, from the stunning views to the relaxed atmosphere. I would highly recommend Paradise Bay to anyone looking for a calm, family-friendly, and truly beautiful retreat.

The property was beautiful and the staff was so nice and willing to help. I only have two complaints from my stay at Paradise Bay Resort. (1) The hotel never seemed to have any clean beach towels. I tried to trade in my beach towel twice for a clean towel and both times I was told that there were no clean towels available and that I would need to return to the front desk at a later time for one. It felt a little crazy to not have enough beach towels to accommodate all the guests at the hotel, especially since water activities are a huge part of the draw to visit Hawaii. (2) Coffee was only available in the lobby until 9 AM. It would have been nice to see coffee available until 10 or 11 AM so there were more opportunities to get two cups of coffee in the morning. Otherwise it was a beautiful hotel that felt very comfortable and clean.

Staff was great! Incredible setting with magnificent view. Location was well situated. The room we had was perfect fir sitting on veranda and soaking up the views. The room contained a kitchen area but the layout needs to be reimagined. No counter space, missing essentials like a pot holder or drying rack for dishes. A small butcher block island would be helpful for food prep and to store pots and pans instead if in the oven. There are outside BBQ grills available to use which we did.
The room itself was spacious with plenty if windows and a private balcony. The security is very good at the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Yoga with a very nice instructor is available every morning, no charge. All in all, a very good experience and would recommend.

We were in a waterfront cottage #19. It’s literally on the bay with a beautiful view of the water and mountains. So peaceful. It’s not a big fancy resort…you actually drive down a neighborhood street to get to it. We wanted a quiet place. Customer service was awesome. There is no beach. However, one of the waterfront cottages had a couple loungers on a piece of sand. There is a pool and a couple floating docks with chairs and tables. Live music in the evening. Our lanai in 19 was probably 25 feet long and completely private. We took a kayak out in the bay. Great place to stay and there’s a lot to see close by. Quiet and quaint!

Very quaint and quiet. Good place for out of the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Quiet and clean. It’s budget friendly and small, but a good place to stay.

This place was very clean. We were only there for one night and had to leave and catch a flight the next day, but the little amount of time we had there makes us want to book another trip to Hawaii and stay there longer. The amenities listed (we didn't get to do them) sounded like we would have had a great time. We will be going back, hopefully soon.

If you want to peacefully enjoy Oahu without being surrounded by tourists or loudness, this is the place for you. This humble resort is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with stunning views. The only noisy residents are the crowing roosters each morning, but waking up early each day will benefit you greatly (parking really is scarce wherever you go)! The resort also offers free activities, equipment such as kayaks, and sometimes they take guests by boat to a sandbar. The vibes here are entirely laid-back and there is no urgency to rush to see everything, truly a place of relaxation. Special shoutout to Pua for being so hospitable, gracious and teaching us a bit about Hawaiian culture as well!
