We wanted a clean, comfortable room and that is what we got. The staff was every friendly, especially the cleaning lady, who didn’t speak English, but let us know she was there to help. The breakfast was great (especially the latte/coffee). It is right in a main tram line and a ticket machine is right diagonally across the main road. A 3 day ticket zone 1 (basically all of Warsaw, including airport) for $9 - includes all trams, buses and metros.

The room was outdated, low quality bedding and linen. The A/C didn't seem to work, the room was generally uncomfortable. The staff spoke the bare minimum but maybe it was due to different languages. The breakfast was excellent, lots of options and everything was delicious.

Good hotel for the price

Stayed only 2 nights. Comfortable, large room, with double bed. Large bathroom with good size shower.
Second line from the street, very quiet all night. Restaurant has good buffet breakfast,
and good selection for dinner also. Bus conection to the center in 20 minutes.

Room was clean. However there was no A/C on our floor. They brought us a fan and offered another room but we didnt want to pack up and move. It cooled off nicely in the evening, but no window screens and construction noise next door began at 6:00am. Lots of construction around the property as they are building next door and also adding a tram line so streets are all torn up. Restaurant onsite was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Found a ball of hair tangled on the shower head and had asked for them to clean it immediately but the issue was never addressed even after housekeeping came the next day. The staff offered for me to switch rooms in the end but disappointed that they didn’t immediately come to remove it. Otherwise overall had a decent stay.

The Best Western did not live up to its name as \"Best\". The beds were not comfortable and had some type of plastic below the sheets that caused them to come off of the bed. I had to remake the bed three times during the night. The pillows were little more than flat rocks.
The hotel appears to need some renovation.

It was a good stay. The hotel is not the newest, but still good.
Check in took a few seconds, the room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was not small either. TV, glasses for water and cups for coffee were available. The bed was comfortable, with the curtains you could darken the room well. At the beginning there were only 1 large duvet and 2 small pillows available. On request at the reception we got another blanket and 2 pillows. That went very fast and without problems. WiFi was very good. Overall, we were satisfied.

The city center is not very far away.
Parking situation at the hotel is good. You can park for a fee, but also park on the streets for free, if you are patient. Opposite the hotel there is a supermarket, which has everything you need for food. Very close is also the Sadyba shopping center, there are many fast-food restaurants, pharmacies, a large supermarket, cafes and clothes to buy.

Bus 501 519 522 to stop magnalia stop right outside hotel athos portos is behind it.
Staff friendly smiling
Rooms large nice size bathroom toiletries hair dryer etc.

Pretty good. Except having to ask for taxi all the time. I think the staff need to have instruction and direction for using the bus. Bus price, bus stops near the location the guests want to go to ( Especially for English speaking guests).

Faulty fire alarm system!

Fire alarm went off and I went down to the fire escape stairs. When we try to open the emergency exit door, it was locked! I went to reception desk and was told it was false alarm... No apologies was given! Had it been a real fire, I would have died/suffocated with the locked emergency exit!

This is not a tourist hotel and is a way fron centre of city. Clean and has decent breakfast it is not exactly inspiring. Free WIFI throughout. Basic rooms (no safe, coffee/tea, etc).

just got back from 3 night stay.hotel is a gem staff really friendly.
check in took 3 minutes friendly receptionist.
room nice size free toiletries in bathroom
breakfast 39 zlotys but lots of choice can get busy at times
food replenished quickly plenty of choice for everyone.
buses to centre 501,519,522 for centrum central railway station.
116 bus takes u along royal route to old town.
bus takes 15 to 20 minutes to city.
great hotel and always a good price
stayed a couple of times now
look forward to staying there again

Well priced, however, VERY noisy guests; Both nights i stayed, guests were smoking outside until 3.30 AM at which point i finally called security. Then the party continued in the room, on my floor! Avoid.

Pleasant hotel, nice staff, quick checkin and checkout, room was adequate and clean. For some reason I had no BBC English channel on my TV! but I know others who stayed did! I was also very cold at night, the bed cover was very thin!

bathroom good size free toiletries hair dryer fluffy towels.
no aircon in room no safe but great room tea making facilities in room.
reception staff friendly helpful 10/10 even cleaners are happy friendly.
breakfast was 39 zlotys bargain lots of choices hot and cold breads rolls fruit etc.
hotel not in centre but great connection out side bus 116 519 522 goes to centrum central station.or change politecnika for underground lines
great hotel look forward to staying there again

I had a good stay here as facilities were as advertised, internet worked smoothly, food was of very good quality and staff were consistently very helpful. I do recommend this hotel as a place to stay when in Warsaw. There is a cash machine/ATM only 20 metres away from the hotel entrance. For smokers, they have rooms available for them too.

This is a modern hotel, not in the center of Warsaw. Many tours and business people stay here. We would have preferred a smaller hotel near the old town. However, we were visiting a friend who lives nearby and it was convenient for her.

Good hotel, good location.

Big, clean, comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfasts, on some days they were making omelettes or waffles. Some way out from the centre of Warsaw, but fast buses to the centre from right outside the hotel. Quite close to the airport.

Great location at a great rate!

The front desk was very helpful and polite. I had a great stay minus the room got a bit stuffy the second night and it was cold the night before. I didn't notice that the window was left opened a bit on the first night. Otherwise, it was great overall. I would definitely stay at Best Western Hotel Portos if I am ever in Warsaw again.

This is a well located business hotel close to Warsaw. Good ratio of price to quality. Breakfast is very good and room are clean. Howvever, it could be quite hot in the winter and the heat is not really adjustable. I had to put wet towel on top of the radiator to cool it down a bit

Rather nice hotel, now a Best Western certainly better now it's been upgraded.
Down side charged 3 times normal rate as there was a big World Climate Conference on....not worth $233 a night...that or the rental car though....

Close to City Centre and Shopping

Our room was clean and comfortable. It is very close to the city centre and 2.5 KM from a shopping mall. There was a nice restaurant on the ground floor of this hotel and the food was excellent. We also had our breakfast in this restaurant every morning. It is a buffet breakfast and the food was very good. Complete and good value. I highly recommend the restaurant and bar. High speed internet is also fast and stable. Staff speaks good English, very helpful and friendly.

Convenient out of town hotel

the hotel itself is out of town but it is still reasonably easy to get into town by taxi. Taxis are usually available in the car park, waiting.
The menu choice in the hotel is quite limited but there is an excellent burger place across the road that serves up real, big fat burgers if you fancy a change. I may need to explore a little more but there didnt seem to be too much around the hotel. Its on the edge of a residential area with a few small shops a little further down the main road, away form the direction of town centre.
