Very nice hotel based on the renovation of, and addition to an existing estate farm. Excellent wine shop and restaurant. Very good food at reasonable prices. Very helpful sommeliers with extensive knowledge of local and regional wines. Only stayed one night but would have liked to stay longer. Not much in the surrounding area.

We wanted a hotel near the airport with a pool so that we could relax for a day before travelling back to London. Sadly when we got to the hotel we found that the outdoor pool had been closed for the winter so we couldn't use it. We were offered use of the spa and the small indoor pool at a cost of Euro 20 each which wasn't much consolation.

The bath in our room was almost unusable (indeed unsafe) because of its design and the safe in the room wasn't working as the batteries were leaking fluid - also not safe.

The food we ordered in the restaurant that evening was a best luke warm but otherwise edible.

Disappointingly none of this seemed to be an issue for the reception staff at the hotel when I raised our concerns - it seemed to be a case of \"tough luck\".

Anyway - the hotel is convenient for the airport and is clean and well presented. Bizzarely there is a very large wine shop in the reception area if that appeals.

Not sure I'd receommend it which is a shame.

Amazing airport hotel

We only slept here for a handful of hours before a very early flight but we were both very impressed and it will likely be our go to hotel flying out of Verona from here on out. Staff was awesome, they helped us book an early taxi and even made us little to go breakfast bags. My only feedback would be two extra bed pillows but everything else was perfect! Thank you so much.

Great location close to airport

The main reason we booked this hotel is we had an early flight and wanted to be close to the airport to drop off the rental car. I'm so glad we did. Property is beautifully renovated. Easy to get around when making day trip and an easy cab ride into Verona. Property was quiet as well.

We (family of 4) had 2 connecting rooms in the new building. The rooms were very nice, clean, modern, luxureous. All facilities were good, food was good, staff was nice and professional. Hard to find a negative thing to say, but if I really have to... maybe a bit more types of bread at breakfast would be nice.. and the flowers scratching my car when exiting the underground parking should have been cut. The 3€ additional service fee at the pool bar when even just eating a small toast bothered me a bit as well, as that made the toast really expensive. But overall, great hotel and I would not mind staying here again.

My stay here was amazing! Everything is great! Far from Verona city center, 15 mins by car, if you’re getting a taxi, it’s around 30-35 euro. But it is so worth it staying at this hotel. The staff is amazing! Breakfast was included and really good!

The property itself is magnificent, but the staff is rude, unmotivated and uninterested. I was a student a few years ago, and I have experienced much better service and hospitality in many student dorms…
Furthermore, during our stay, we experienced a serious security/privacy incident as we got attacked by another guest in the SPA area. We complained about their kids screaming and playing in the SPA, although their rules clearly say that kids are not allowed in the SPA area. Staff members did not protect us during the incident, but decided to ignore the rules and distance themselves. This incident summarises well the general staff attitude. We emailed reception about the incident, and they IGNORED us. We travel regularly for work, and in fact, we work in the tourism sector, so we get to stay in around 50 hotels every year. This was one of the least hospitable staff that I have experienced in my life.

The hotel is a walking distance from the airport and the transport links to Verona city centre is good. The restaurant in the hotel has a very restricted menu, but the meal we had on our first night was very good. Breakfast is very basic and I assume this is because mainly it is a business hotel. I made a mistake booking this hotel for our stay, thinking that it was quite nearer to city centre & all the attractions. But we made the most of it.

Nice place but a few things to improve

It is our second visit to Veronesi La Torre. We came back after the long period of restrictions, and were very much looking forward to it given our amazing experience before.
Over this time the hotel went through renovations and expansion (new building, outdoor pool). Unfortunately, these changes have made the hotel loose its unique atmosphere and become more corporate. During our stay it was hosting a big conference, and we were evidently not the priority of the staff. The check in was the opposite of helpful, where we were given zero information.
Re spa facilities - like in most paces you now have to book a time slot - but it did not seem to be working here, as at times the number of people was obviously above the capacity (based on beds). Also quite disappointing that half of the spa facilities were not working (only one of the sauna rooms was working in fact).
Another disappointing thing was the outdoor pool that was closed, including the area around it. The website does not suggest it is anyhow seasonal.
The other thing that changed over the last two years - the hotel is no longer offering a shuttle to Verona. They used to have a couple a day which was really handy for those travelling without a car or wanting to have a drink in Verona.
A few positives to mention: the restaurant is still great, the breakfast staff were helpful, the rooms are good size (wardrobes not good). Overall, would recommend for a short stay when arriving late as it is very close to the airport

Sound insulation is very poor and you can hear the walls trembling when your neighbors walk in their rooms as well as the people talking in the meeting room below your room.

Great pool and sauna!

We had only a one night stay, but we decided to stay three nights! It was fabulous. They have a salt water pool, massage and numerous spa \"toys\" (Finnish sauna, steam room, hot tub, sink of ice to rub on your painful legs -- that was unbelievably helpful-- and hot cold progressive shower with lights and scents.) We didn't bother to take the bus to Verona to see the coliseum. That is what had been so stressful in the rest of our trip, trying to deal with old cities walking on bad legs. We had a true vacation here. However, the dinner restaurant -- outside breakfast -- was terrible cooking. Awful. Breakfast was great, but we started to restrict what we ate there because of fears we had food poisoning. Otherwise, breakfast was very good. The one drawback to the hotel was the pornographic furniture and art in the main lobby. They had a chair that implied a woman with her legs spread open. Really shocking. They also had a picture of a famous gay man.

Excellent stay! The hotel is a very peaceful and relaxing place with a nice pool and spa. The staff were friendly and happy to help. The restaurant is also extremely good. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the centre of Verona, but there was a transfer service provided by the hotel.

Warm and friendly check in experience. Nice, spacious room (Jr. Suite). Comfy bed, nice appointed bath. Good breakfast spread, from fresh scrambled eggs and many fixings, to bread, cereal, salad . Good restaurant.. Great spa that is available at no extra cost. Pool with cool water jacuzzi, hot jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, and different ways to chill between. An oasis near Verona airport!

This hotel was a great surprise! Nice staf, Super service, the restaurant was perfect, the spa was clean and beautyfull. The room where fresh and quite big. The beds where great, they even offered a pillow menu where you could choose from different kind of pillows. Never experienced that before. The breakfast was included and had every thing you could think of. A really nice place to stay!😊

Not family friendly

The hotel is nice but it is not great for children. There is a policy that children up to 15 years (!) are not allowed into the spa area after 1pm and this includes the pool. This information is rather hidden on the hotels.com website. The manager made a concession for our son as it was his 14th birthday- he was allowed in until 2pm. He was paying the same price though. In the middle of a heatwave this really soured our stay.

Such an Odd Hotel

The idea of a converted monastery sounded so cool. But YIKES... it sure did not end up being as cool as it could have been. The snarky front desk guy at check-in was incredibly rude and super unfriendly. The hotel has a shuttle bus you have to book it 24 hours in advance... who books a shuttle 24 hours in advance? I can understand a few hours but a full day when you are only in town for two days. The flip side was we got snookered by taxi's with varying prices every time we went to downtown Verona ($22 euro to $40 euro on the same route, same drop off with the hotel organizing the taxi's).

Getting the shuttle (once we did) wasn't as difficult as the front desk made it seem and finally a friendly face. The restaurant for dinner was not enjoyable - the pasta was so buttery and salty, the wine glass was only filled a 1/4 of the glass each time, and service was slow and odd (medium steak was virtually raw). The rooms felt like summer camp with ratty robes, single beds for three people, and unfriendly service workers (the maids never smiled nor said hello, and the spa lady scolded us like small children when checking out the facilities). The hotel was primarily full of corporate people there for a conference which made sense based on the location and atmosphere. Not a family friendly nor cool hotel. The art and furnishings are really quirky- odd art, dated and tattered furnishings. Super weird space with less than ideal customer service. Not recommended at all.

The hotel was amazing, perfect location offering easy travel to several areas of Northern Italy. Great facilities including spa, library, gym, hot tub and swimming pool. However what makes this hotel unique is it's amazingly warm, friendly, accomondating staff. No ask was too great. I will definitely will be back

Nice hotel close to Verona

This hotel has an indoor salt water pool, and a salt water Jacuzzi which were of great help to relax after driving for a few hours. The room was big, clean, open and well equipped, the bed was very comfortable. The restaurant for dinner, the free breakfast, and the staff were exceptional. The only negative was the bath tub, the shower and spout location because the design is neither friendly, nor safe: It is very difficult and slippery to get in and out the bath tub, the shower is in the same vertical axis to the tub spout - and pointing to the narrow side of the bath tub, so you have to be very careful not to hit your legs with the spout and not to hurt yourself while showering. The water pressure is very low so it's more like a dripping than a showering, the toilet has to be flushed several times to allow to drain, the towel heater did not work and there was a moldy humid stain on the wall (leaks?).

HORRIBLE and UNTRUSTWORTHY

This is one of the most frustrating hotel experiences I have ever had. For future travelers beware: the air smells like cow feces. Strongly. You are staying right next to an airport with windows that do not block out the sound. The jacuzzi was \"under maintenance\" during the time I stayed there. Due to all of these issues I decided to check out 2 days early, out of a 4 night stay. The hotel promised to refund me for the early check out. (I have proof in e-mail with the Administration manager) After 3 weeks of emailing and asking about my refund I received an email from the hotel saying Expedia would refund me money. I called Expedia and they had zero record of an authorized refund. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. DO NOT BOOK HERE.

Middle of nowhere

Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. Hotel was clean and breakfast was ample. However the hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere. There is a courtesy bus which will take you into Verona but a 30 euro taxi back every night was excessive. Would not start here again.

Great spa!

Awesome spa. Very clean, relaxing, and best of all the room's A/C worked great and the sheets, quilt and bed were very comfy. However, it is right next to the airport and pretty far from the old part of town. I'd do it again!

Excellent hotel - poor shuttle bus availability

We had an amazing time in Verona and Lake Garda but had to spend a fortune on taxis due to the lack of availability of the shuttle bus that they advertise on their website. They also say it is available 7 days per week but then to be told it couldn't return us to the airport as it is not available on Sundays. The Hotel was very clean and rooms were excellent, staff were very helpful and their English was very good.

I had paid for a large studio room. This had to be the worst room in the house. It was large enough, but had full length windows on 2 sides and the blinds let the light in. No transparent blinds either so you had to leave them closed otherwise people outside could see in when you were changing. the lighting was poor too. The double glazing was inadequate and you could hear planes, even though the airport was a good 5 minutes away. The breakfast was average. It was a modern hotel and only if you have a really early flight would I suggest staying here. Otherwise stay in Verona. The price is the same.

Beautiful hotel. The staff are attentive and friendly, the rooms are clean and spacious. It is a very quiet, peaceful place to stay, away from the main touristy parts of Verona (but still only a short taxi ride away). The spa facilities are nice and the breakfast in the mornings is lovely. There is a great selection of food and there is fresh coffee and Juice.
We also ate in the restaurant - the food is delicious and again the staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. It is a great place to stay if you want a nice relaxing visit and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who prefers a peaceful retreat over a city break.

This was my second stay there and I was a little bit disappointed. Before an year everything was ok but this time the WI-FI in the rooms was very slow and the signal was very low. The breakfast was very simple. Except this it was a pleasant stay.

Top of the Line Airport Hotel

For an airport hotel, it would be hard to beat the Hotel Veronesi La Torre. Friendly staff, spacious rooms and an excellent spa made us wish we could have stayed another day or two, instead of rushing to our flight in the morning.

Service needs training

Great hotel friendly receptionists. However service during brekfast was rather upsetting. I need several coffees to get me going at 7am had an ealy flight and a servant called Monica probably needs some extra training on customer service or be a bit more polite to hotel guests. It looked like having lots of coffee in the morning something she does not allows personally and sadly for her colleague ,who seened as a nice girl named Siam, was instructed to not give us anymore coffee, like seriously? In such a hotel? I felt like I am in turkey on 2 stars hotel. Anyhow, Siam I am sorry I had to demand and pay for my espresso ( shall be brekfast in) but perhaps this is a message to the management. Everything else I loved in this hotel.
