We had a really great stay. Staff were friendly, apartments were spacious and comfy and nice facilities on site. Would definitely recommend the flamenco, and absolutely amazing guitarist! Prices are very decent at the local Spar shop, nice restaurants and bars close by. And the beach is also nice and close

Room was exactly as advertised. Pool complex was fab. Only there for one night so didn’t get to check out all the facilities. Breakfast was lovely - good range of cold meats, cheese etc. Plus fried foods and pancakes if you felt like a hot breakfast. Short stroll to various restaurants on the seafront and a spar just outside.

The staff were all excellent ... thank you to each of them for their kindness and professionalism. The hotel is mainly geared towards families with children, so adult-focused entertainment and activities are quite limited. Also, the Wi-Fi speed is very slow, with almost no coverage inside the apartment bedrooms.

A disappointing stay, the room was unclean upon arrival, with children's toys left on the balcony and a cockroach heading under the fridge. When we raised our concerns, the staff were defensive and unhelpful, only suggesting fumigation which wasn't ideal as we didn't fancy inhaling the chemicals.

The hotel refused any refund, even for the night we decided to leave early. They also misrepresented our checkout status to Expedia. Also, ground floor room has no net curtains so if you need privacy you only have the option of a heavy curtain. Disappointing as the good reviews are what made us decide on our stay there!

Lovely Apart-hotel, we arrived early and could leave our bags in the luggage room. When ready, we went to our apartment but it was up three flights of stairs, I have issues with walking and this wasn’t ideal. We asked to be changed, we were eventually changed and got into our apartment at 6 in the evening, I think it could have been changed much quicker as they were checking in people all day. But we were happy with our apartment in the end. Just a pity we couldn’t get settled for a whole day. The rooms were cleaned daily and the staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. There is a spar across from the hotel a bar that do nice drinks and food with music every night (Marcos) and the best Asian food we’ve ever had is in Asia Home beside Marcos. Staff were fab in both places too.

We weronly there for an overnight stay but they upgraded us to a 2-bed apartment. Check-in was efficient, the rooms spaceous and clean. The crockery etc. was basic, but sufficient. Breakfast was one of the best we have enjoyed on the island! We'll come here again, that's for sure.

The hotel was very well maintained, the rooms were spacious and very clean with cleaning service every day. The gardens are immaculate. Breakfast was a good selection with lots of options. Lunch options at the snack bar were very reasonable with toasties and chips for €2,drinks were a good price too. All the staff are very helpful. The location is fabulous right by the beach, bus stop and a big super market and lots of bars and restaurants. We had a wonderful weekend of winter sun in Lanazarote.

The room was nice and comfortable, beds very nice. The only problem was half the lights didn’t work but we reported it to the receptionist, it wasn’t a massive problem as we stayed 1 night only.
The food was good value for what we paid but the only problem was the breakfast was cold and eggs overcooked, there’s a chef making eggs all morning so we got a hot one in the end. Would I stay here again, probably not but it was great value compared with other hotels and I was using the rewards night.

Stopped off here after a late arrival to the island. Check-in was seemly and were treated by incredibly helpful staff. Breakfast buffet offered a great variety to fill us up to get going for the day. Didn’t get round to using the pools during our 1 night stay but looked beautifully clear with ample sun beds surrounding them. Would definitely recommended staying here if you have children, apartments are very spacious and offer generous living space. Will be strongly considering come back here for a long stay next year.

We had a lovely stay at these apartments apartments, but if you want a sun lounger at the pool areas you need to be up early before breakfast as we found there all taken with guests towels so we found out not to bother and go to the beach everyday.

Nice hotel - shame about the half-board drinks

Hotel is conveniently located, close to the beach and local restaurants. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is heated, which is appreciable during the cold months, but unfortunately not in the morning, so we couldn't take a last swim before check-out. The evening animations are quite noisy, and the rooms not very well insulated, but they stop around 11pm so we weren't too bothered. The buffet was average, with little Canary specialties and very few vegetables apart from the appetizers. Also, if you opt for half-board instead of all inclusive, then you'll have to pay for your drinks, including water. There is no option for half-board + drinks, and they charge water at 1.80 euro for 1/2 liter (you can buy an 8 liter bottle for 1.5 euro at the shop next door)! Avoid the fruit juices at breakfast, there is nothing natural in them.

When we arrived we had a few problems. The lights in one bedroom didnt work at all & only one light in The other. The kettle lid was broke. Saying this we told reception next morning & they quickly repaired everything. Didnt use pool or bar as only there two nights but looked nice.

We has an upgraded apartment from 1 bed to 2 bed which was a pleasant surprise.Well maintained and loads of pool. many palm trees is very pleasing to look at. The pool water is cold thou apart from the main large swimming pool. Our room was a bit smelly. the furniture must be upgraded as thats the big down side of it. I would certainly come back hopefully to a different rrom.

Great hotel in good location. Staff friendly and very helpful. Was self-catering but had dinner in hotel. Great selection of good quality food. Apartment well equipped, spotlessly clean and serviced daily. Hair dryer was a hose with nozzle - impossible to style hair, no settings and hose gets very hot. Have stayed here before and had more modern hair dryer so maybe this one just hasn't been updated yet. Would definitely go back, it's well run, quiet and feels very safe. Great for couples or families. 3 pools well supervisedone.

Overall very happy with this hotel. Check in was the smoothest ive ever hand & very helpful & polite reception staff. Went self catering & looking at other reviews i feel it was the best option. Lots of choice to eat out in the surrounding area. Bar snacks were good value for during the day. The pool was extremely cold early in the day but heated up around 1-2 . This was my biggest fault with the hotel. With kids the pool should be warm from early morning. Also some background music around the pool for some part of the day would be nice to liven things up. Location is very good, just across from beach, bars, shop. Ive visited Lanzarote several times & i would have no problem returning to this hotel

We stayed for a week all inclusive when we arrived at the hotel we were created by a friendly lady at reception and were told we were going to have to wait two hours to check in as our room wasn't ready. We went for lunch at the all inclusive. Our room was nice and clean and a good size with a balcony etc and had most of the amenities you need except we didn't have an iron in the room which I personally need when travelling. The food each day was fine it wasn't anything exciting but certainly was eatable and the staff were always nice and helpful. The pool area is large and there are sunbeds etc and the hotel is located on the area we liked close to main resort but far enough to be quiet in the evenings. One problem I did have with this hotel was there were extras you had to pay for not included in the all inclusive certain drinks and snacks were on show but had to be paid for which I didn't like it's all inclusive we paid for so surely it should be. There is a limited all inclusive drinks menu which was so basic we got fed up drinking the same thing each night not much variety unless you pay for other drinks which again is feel should have been included for all inclusive guests.

Good location by beach but everything else awful. Entered room to letter saykng get ready for your departure....so welcoming. Pool big but NOT heated to 27 degrees as claimed by hotel. Food was the worst I have ever had with either no taste, cold, sour or just inedible. Even juice at breakfast was watered down and sour. We regretted paying for half board but at least we didnt waste even more on full board. Even on half board you pay for drinks at dinner unlike other hotels. You pay 1.50euro for a safe but its so small its useless. Snooker tables were marked out of order most of the time. Apartment only had air con in lounge not bedroom which only had a fan. On cold april nights there is no heating. Sofa forms the sofa bed and is rock hard. Kitchen is only minimally stocked. No free tea or coffee or even water. Hotel behind has deafening entertainment at night making sleep impossible till it finishes. Raised concerns during welcome review and got sarcastic response from hotel blaming my issues on us only staying one night. At check out we waited ages whilst they sorted other issues and they never even asked how our stay was. Also first ghing on our leaving day new beddinv was dumped outside our door as if we hax overstayed our welcome. Truly the worst hotel Ive ever stayed at including hotels less than 30 pounds, when this one was over 100!

Hi we had a lovely holiday thank you and would visit again. Yohan/ Johan? the entertainer was superb friendly, cheerful, fun to both adults and children and we all said it was the best kids disco. We thought one pool would be heated but not convinced it was? The restaurant staff were friendly and helpful all the staff worked hard to make our staff a pleasant one so big thanks to all. Our only suggestion was the lightening in the rooms were too dim in the evenings.
My daughter did lose her samsung phone. We were in room 1315 so if it is handed in please could you let me know.

We loved Hotel Floresta, this was our first stay here but we can’t wait to go again. It’s a lovely clean resort and the pool area is fab, never overcrowded and always clean with a lifeguard. The photos of the rooms make them look a little dated but are actually better in person, clean and comfortable. There are lovely restaurants and bars in the area and you really don’t have to venture far for anything at all.

The apartment was a little dated but the beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean and comfortable. Liked the fact that there was British TV channels. Great Hotel in great position

Hotel is very nice in an ideal position at the north side of Puerto del Carmen. Hotel room initially given one which was on the main site of the hotel, we thought had a very poor balcony but we asked if we could move and the staff arranged this for us. Second room very similar to first but first floor balcony in good position. Rooms are quite basic as regards décor but had everything you needed and everything worked plus quite spacious, Outdoors pool area very nice several pools on site, no fight over sun loungers and whole area very nice and kept very clean everywhere.
Food again I know picky you would say that it is a bit samey, but from my perspective they did theme nights and I was never stuck for choice and it was generally of a good quality,. Hotel position is great 50 yards from beach and shops and restaurants and bars all within close walking distance.

Great hotel near the beach and supply shop. Room cleaning was good, although they missed an extra day. Lovely pools. We played tennis. For all inclusive there was 2 hours free but you still had to hire the rackets and balls at 1E each item. Crazy golf was also available. The accommodation was large. It included a kitchenette with kettle, microwave and fridge. The beds were comfy. The food had a good variety and was tasty, although they do like putting meat in some of their veg. E.G. small pieces of pork in with peas, very tasty but one less thing for vegetarians to eat. Having said that there was always cooked fish every day. We took a long coastal walk into the old town and a cheap bus ride back. All the staff worked hard for the comfort of the guests. Although near the airport there was little to no aircraft noise. We had a great time

The staff we came across werent particually friendly, seemed like they would rather be anywhere but. The drains in the bathroom were really smelly, to be fair this was addressed by the maids on a daily basis, however by night time the smell had returned. The box to put your key card in to trip the electric was just plain fiddily & annoying, it took 5 or 6 attempts each time to get the electric just to stay on

Breakfast was good to be fair, plenty of choice & varied day to day.

We were allocated a room on the far side of the hotel complex which was very quiet. Our balcony was south west facing so had the sun all afternoon. The standard of cleaning was excellent and the surrounding gardens are well established and looked after by the staff. Dining room was busy at certain times but the staff work hard to clear the tables. Food acceptable, better on some days more than others.

Brilliant hotel, location & staff

Me and my husband stay 1 night for our marriage anniversary, and it’s was very nice and comfortable.
Reception staff very friend and helpfully, and when we told him it’s was our marriage anniversary he even sent a bottle of bubble to our room bless him.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, location very good lots of restaurants,shop and beach 3 mins away, also it’s about 8mins drive from the airport which cost us about 10/12 euros.

Went with a large group of friends booked all inclusive for a long weekend. The facilities around the hotel were all very good, kept in good condition and well maintained. Large swimming pool and a smaller one for children to enjoy. The hotel whilst being pretty full always had sun loungers available. Rooms were clean and functional with a freeview TV which showed BBC, ITV and Channel 4, BBC World News along with a multitude of similar channels from other countries. Rooms were cleaned same time each day by staff. Every day except Friday they had activities to keep children engaged and each night there was a children's show followed by entertainment for adults. The food was what you would expect from a 3 star hotel. All in all everyone in our party of 20+ people had nothing bad to say about this hotel. In fact we some are thinking of coming back with their partners later this year and next year.

Nice clean well run.

More suited to families as there were lots of children there. Pool very noisy and full of inflatables. Most people were all inclusive and we self catered. Room was lovely but air conditioning was poor. Also electrics were not good. Our phones and plugs kept getting hot BV when charging. Our MP3 player melted when on charge. Overall a good place for kids not for couples.

Lanzo 2017 - Floresta hotel

It is really good for a 3 *. We went all inclusive and cost €25 pp/day. It was worth it most days from a combined drinks, food & water perspective. Rooms were serviced most days & well cleaned & beds made. Our room was on 3rd level, so climbing up steps was hard in heat & if u wanted to go back to room frequently. The nightly entertainment was very poor quality. The staff were pleasant enough. The food in the main restaurant/food hall area was ok quality & clean. We got fed up of it after a few days and alot of similar foods for breakfast, lunch & dinner....so we got dinner out most evenings. In restaurant....You had to go get your own drinks (not brought to table). Pool was clean & was salt water. Overall it was a good place to stay. Can only get large bottles of water after 6pm. All inclusive drinks were available from 11am to 11pm.

Location of hotel is good. Better all-inclusive hotel for non-vegetarian guests as very little and repetitive vegetarian food options. Room quality is not too bad. Staff is excellent in all areas.

Let me start with the positives
Very clean, good food, great for kids, Kids club team seemed very good although we didn't have kids, in the quieter end of PDC but still plenty of bars and restaurants around the area.
Good selection of TV channels
There is a great Bar opposite the Hotel, Marcos & Alless where food is cheap beer is good as is the entertainment

Bad points
Entertainment for the teenager or adult is dire or of bad quality to non existent,
There are a lot of smokers on the outdoor area where it states no Smoking
Towels on sunbeds at early morning although we did not sit around the pool we heard people complaining.
No TV area to watch any Sport
Paid for WIFI is rubbish and costs about 19 Euro
Parking is also hard to find a spot if have a hired car
The drinks do not have as high Alchohol content as other bars

Would I go back, no i wouldn't. Would I go back if I had younger kids, yes I would

Great hotel, but a few suggestions

Just back from a weeks stay at the Floresta. Great hotel, clean room. We went for the self catering option as we wanted to eat out while we were there. We did eat in the restaurant twice for dinner and four mornings for breakfast. Food was excellent, I do agree tho that there could have been a bit more hot food. I might have been disappointed overall if we went all inclusive.
We didn't really frequent the pool bar often as we had our 2 year old son with us but when we did it was to bring him to the kids disco. Which was great!
The first night we brought him to the magician show and our son danced in the middle of the room to the music. The performer abruptly gave us the dirtiest look and told us to remove him. He wasn't interfering with the show at all. Perhaps it was because our son got more of an applause than he did?
For a family orientated hotel some of the staff really have to change their attitudes towards younger customers.
The cleaning staff were extremely friendly and pools were cleaned every day.
The location is really what makes the Floresta ideal for families. The beach is just across the road, a taxi ride into puerto del carmen is less than €5, several shops and restaurants along the promenade.
I'd love to go back again.

Simply brilliant

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The pool area was large and uncrowded, rooms very comfortable, and location unbeatable. So many wonderful places to eat and drink within minutes, and a fantastic beach, which goes on forever! Bus stop just outside, Spar is well stocked for supplies if you are self catering ( fresh bread every day and very cheap wine!) 5 minutes from the airport in a taxi. We cannot wait to return. We didn't go in the hotel bar or restaurant as there was just too much choice outside of the hotel, all so reasonably priced!!!

an honest view

very enjoyable stay . staff very pleasant, breakfast was good.
three star hotel and it stated in the brochure what the limitations of this were so you were aware of these.
WIFI was very slow, pool a bit confusing in regard to how deep it was because of paint needing to be touched up

A very good all-round hotel good roomsize , great food and a good area. The room 1509 had a nice patio with sun all day in a quoted area of the hotel. There is a spar just outside the hotel and a good bus service to go places

Hotel Floresta

Hotel is good value for money. Apartment was exceptionally clean. Near the pool second floor.

Only minor gripe was the WiFi. You are charged extra and the basic WiFi in reception is terrible.

On the whole would go back to this hotel. The rooms looked new and the little kitchenette was perfect.
