A unique experience

This was a wonderful experience. The pools are magnificent and the hotel has been sensitively restored. Our room was comfortable with a great view of the outdoor pool. It is 7 mins walk from the nearest metro which gives you access to all the central Paris sites. We will be back soon.

Fabulous hotel with character in Paris

What an iconic spot in the 16th arr of Paris. Would be perfection for the French Open someday! Loved the pool and the staff were amazing. Bar and restaurant very nice and the rooms were immaculate and comfortable. While a little distance from the main tourist spots, the Eiffel Tower was about a 45 minute walk away and it was very close to metro stations to take you everywhere. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Some of my items were never found ….

I forgot a swimsuit and a brand new coat for my daughter in the room and they never found it back.
As I used the swimsuit to swim in the swimming pool in the morning and I had just bought the jacket as a present to my daughter I am 100% sure they were in the room but still they were never found so be very careful.

Great swimming pool and super friendly and helpful staff that made us and especially our kids, feel well looked after and welcome. Breakfast was a bit chaotic on some days, but we are all out of practice at holidaying after the last couple of years, so im sure that will get better and better.

Comfortable beds. Quality TV with English language option.Amazing spa and a proper gym.
Full range of breakfast choices. Evening meal selection top draw.
Not 1 - but 2No amazing heated swimming pools.
Great location next to the park and botanical garden. Close enough to walk to the Eiffel. Nearest metro just 10mins. Hard do Nord only 45 mins. Roland Garros and PSG literally around the corner. Wow.

Also I needed a package shipped to the US and they handled the delivery for me with no problems at all. What a great hotel!

Great property just outside of of the business in Paris which was nice. Rooms were beautiful and staff in check in were extremely friendly and helpful (i.e. Front desk & Concierge services.) Rooftop bar was always busy with reserved parties and staff was not as friendly). Maybe they might have been if we spoke better French, so your experience may be better if you do. Restaurant downstairs had a very nice breakfast buffet and staff was always extremely friendly. Overall great trip. My only recommendation would be to go explore some of the locals restaurants that are not in the tourist areas in this part of town. Some seriously great finds at half the price. Bon appetit!!

A great pool but way too crowded

the best pool in Paris, if only it were less crowded. There are about 10 sunbeds total and the rest are just chairs which are all fully occupied as early as 10 am.
since the pool is the main attraction of the place, it's a bit frustrating to have to fight to enjoy it.

Great stay at the Molitor. It’s a little outside the centre of Paris, literally next door to Roland Garos but worth the 20 minute trip on the metro. On arrival we upgraded our room to include a bath (didn’t realise that our room didn’t have a bath initially). Room was huge with an amazon bath and great view of the pool. Had dinner in the brasserie in the evening which was excellent. Following morning had a dip in the outdoor and indoor pools, both were great.

Wonderful experience

I would thoroughly recommend the Molitor, we stayed as it was conveniently located near the sports venues and we were attending the arc racing as a present for my husband's 50th, the concierge staff, in particular Helen and Benjamin were extremely helpful and made our trip extra special, the hotel is spotless, bed and pillows extremely comfortable, Clarins toiletries and a nespresso coffee machine are a nice touch too. The staff even left a little (amazingly tasty) cake with a candle, matches, 2 drinks and biscuits as a little birthday treat. The only little thing that lets the Molitor down would be the condition of some of the decor such as scrapes etc on paintwork and legs of furniture/tables which you don't expect in a 5 star establishment - also 18 euros to enjoy 2 small cappuchino's by the pool was a shock.

Fantastic hotel. The swimming pools are amazing and heated so no excuse for not having a dip. The location was brilliant for Longchamp racecourse which we visited to see the Prix de L’Arc de Triomphe. Really interesting history as the building was originally a swimming pool used by Parisians from the 1920s to 1980s.

Come for the pool

We came here for the pools. Wow! One is indoor and one is outdoor. We were required to wear these annoying orange bands to access pools. It was August 2018. It wasn’t too hot or sunny. Not too many people in pool. This place is also a spa and club. I wonder how busy the pool.

There are two restaurants. Both were very good. Didn’t care for breakfast buffet.

Staff was great. We were able to check in early at noon for our ‘Executive King Size Bed.’

Beautiful hotel. Kids loved the pool! Staff was awesome to us. We were a family of 5 between with a djoining rooms. Food there was the best we had in France. Hotel is a tad outside of Paris, but I liked being away from tourists. Neighborhood seemed a little scary at night, but we weren’t from around there. Loved the hotel. Also it has air conditioning, which really mattered to us in blazing hot August.

Amazing art, but the hotel did not pay the artists

We were enamored with the hotel. The history and the way they incorporated all of the hotels past into its current design was appreciated- until we werw told by a few of the artists that they were never paid for their time or talents. Hundred of artists are featured in the indoor pool area.

Art Deco architectural gem built around 2 pools

The main reason to stay at the Molitor is the exceptional architecture. It's an Art Deco public pool turned into a high-end hotel. It made a brief appearance in the movie Life of Pi. Beautifully decorated in a trendy way.

Hotel with a rich history, excellent service

Clean rooms, large swimming pools indoors and outdoors, spa is great but spa bathrooms need thorough cleaning in between use... otherwise all good.
Restaurants is great, fine dining experience with a large collection of excellent wine to choose from.
Breakfast will do with more variety and quality especially for the prices being charged.

Third time to this hotel. The front staff are fabulous but this is not matched by the staff in the restaurant who are a bit lack lustre to be honest. The pool is just amazing.

The hotel is nice but location is not ideal. Be prepared to take the subway, or uber, or taxi to get to the major sites. The staff is pleasant, but inconsistent. One concierge employee gave us wrong subway directions.

Outstanding hotel near the edge of the city

Love this place, it was a swimming pool in the 30 abandoned in the seventies. Refurbished to a 5 star hotel .
The location is the best for the average tourist but the place is really worth staying and they have 2 excellent swimming pools.

Rude staff and poor location

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Don’t be fooled. Its off the peripherique and a good 10 minutes cab ride from civilisation. What annoyed me more than anything though was that we paid £200 for a room only to be told the pool was closed and when I enquired (politely) many weeks ago whether I could move to their same hotel closer to the centre and pay the difference I was simply told ‘no, you booked non refundable’. That may be, but have some customer service skills - particularly when the request is about the same hotel chain!!!
Never again. Those sorts of manners are unforgivable.

I liked it. The impression on Orbitz is a bit misleading. It's not a luxury hotel . it is a hipster hotel which suited us well.

Excellent hotel in a lovely location

Excellent hotel in a great location. If you dont want to be too close to the manic Eiffel Tower area then this is a great place to go. With the metro station just down the road, it is easy to get around the city. Now for me the staff were excellent, their English was superb and they were very approachable. They helped sort out tickets for various things, including a boat trip down the river Seine and tickets to watch PSG. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I would definitely be going back there when I visit Paris next.

Total surprise!

What was extraordinary was the way a derelict Art Deco swimming pool (!) has been turned into a hotel of great character rather than just being torn down! The staff is young and enthusiastic and competent. Staying here was truly enjoyable. The restaurant can be very good or, sometimes, can produce things that don't quite come off.

Very convenient and highly recommended

The hotel is in the 16th arr. but close to the metro station and very easy to get to anywhere.
The facilities are excellent, really close to Roland Garros and you can even see the Eiffel tower from the hallway.
The food is really awesome - but don't forget to make a reservation. We didn't know that and couldn't get a seat for dinner and had to sit in the club house with a limited menu. Also the fitness center and pool are world class - we hope we could have used the outdoor pool but it is closed during the weekdays.

An iconic, stylish and memorable hotel stay

My wife and I had a lovely stay at the Molitor in September time, I recommend this as a romantic venue for couples. Our room was modern, well equipped and comfortable, the outdoor pool was fabulous, and the communal facilities were very stylish too. The history of the Molitor had been really cleverly woven into the interior design, including both its Art Deco origins and its more recent history. I'd certainly be happy to stay there again next time we are in Paris.

Hotel Molitor was such a beautiful hotel with very modern rooms. The overall layout of the room was astonishing with appliances such as a bose speaker for your leisure. It was also a short walk from the station and a few stops from central Paris.

Nice Hotel....BUT.....

Noise from \"Disco \" on first nights stay. Rang reception and complained about noise at 11.30 p.m. Receptionist confirmed they had received several complaints from guests and would sort out the noise nuisance. The disco remained noisey onto 01:30 a.m. WE COULD NOT GET TO SLEEP. The following night I spoke to reception staff about the noise from the disco and I asked was there likely to be any more noise from a disco again tonight? The receptionist was very courteous and apologetic and said the disco the night before only happens once a year and promised that no disco was scheduled for Saturday night. The noise from the Bar disco started at about 9.00 p.m. And was very loud until early hours gone 1 a.m. Due to previous failings by reception staff to deal with my complaint and issue over the noise I didn't bother complaining further.
I therefore would NOT recommend this Hotel.

Nice hotel for an escape whilst in the city

Such a relaxing place. The pools, both interior and exterior are amazing, Nothing better than waking-up and going for a plunge. the SPA is heaven with very nice and competent staff. The perfect place to take a break whilst enjoying the delights of busy Paris.

This hotel blew us away. We were not prepared for how nice it was! Staff was kind, courteous, helpful. They made us feel very welcome and even refused tips for helping us. They let us keep our bags there even after we had checked out for a few hours. By far the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in.

Great facilities - staff need a compete overhaul

Whilst the hotel and it's facilities were excellent, the service was hands down the worst I have ever received in my life. This is not a 5 star hotel - all the staff have an extremely stereotypical french attitude to service, including serving every other french speaking couple in the restaurant (even those who sat far later than us), before we were even given menus, to the front desk staff having the audacity to suggest it was my fault they had failed to warn me we would need to swap rooms for the last night of our stay. They had no reason for this, and failed to offer any kind of apology or compensation - instead they left my 8 months pregnant sister standing in reception for half an hour whilst they failed to deal with it. Absolutely appalling.
