I did find a used takeout food bag in my room when I checked in, the front desk was weird about keeping the key (sometimes id just forget) and they became straight up pushy, which was uncomfortable. The rooms are extremely small and building is old and smells as such, making it a fine place to stay for a couple nights if solo. Not ideal for more than that or with two people or you start to go crazy. Maybe better if you are in a room that isn’t taken up entirely by the bed, I could find it charming that way

Staff very helpful and friendly. Beautiful room and the family suite was big enough for my family of 4. Everything was super clean and chic.

Would give a 5 star, but the hotel owner charged €90 for a stolen key replacement that was a part of a purse snatching. The cost seems excessive for a not-at-fault reason.

The hotel itself is nice enough and the area very safe and pleasant. However the room felt like a glorified cupboard. The sound proofing is poor and the safe is not large enough to store bigger items like laptops/tablets. There is also no additional lock on the inside of the bedrooms. The bathroom had no hooks to hang towels and the shower tray filled up quickly, presumably due to a blocked drain.

This is a ridiculously overpriced property. While the location is enviable, the hotel itself is nothing to write home about. The staff is not particularly friendly nor helpful. The first room I was assigned was nothing more than a closet with a window. After I complained, I was told that I had reserved a regular or standard room. I was then offered a slightly better room but still unacceptable for 230 euros per night. There is not even space to set a roller bag open. Half of the tiny closet is occupied by machinery. The bathroom is small and not very well set up (no room for toilet paper dispenser). There is a bathtub with a glass partition seemingly to allow showers but no hook for a shower head. Not a good experience. In fact, this is a rip off.

Little charming hotel

The hotel is kind of old style but I mean it in a good way! The decor of the building and rooms is very classic, you have to leave the key (one!) at reception every time you leave the property, you need to interact with someone every time you need something, including entering the property after a certain hour. And yet I found it somewhat refreshing, it kind of reminds you to take things a bit slower. The room was very comfortable and spacious and the fridge, the coffee machine, and kettle are very useful if you want to stay in and have a cup of tea or enjoy a simple wine, bread and French cheese dinner. A special thanks to Marianne, Kevin, and Brian who were always friendly and welcomed with a smile our (probably silly) attempts at speaking French!

Boutique and friendly stay in the 16th

The hotel was in a fantastic location for our stay, the welcome was very warm and the space available for guests to relax in the reception area was really pleasant. The arrangements with a local gym are fantastic given the size of the hotel, and we couldn't have asked for a more friendly service. The only slight drawbacks were the size of the beds (quite small for my wife and I), and the rooms did get a little warm, with the air conditioning not appearing to \"cool\" the rooms. However, overall an excellent stay.

We had a wonderful three day stay at the Hôtel Beauséjour Ranelagh! Our room was small but it had everything we needed for a good night's sleep before exploring Paris. The breakfast was delicious! Laurent and Melvin were very helpful and kind. The neighborhood is quiet with easy access to a GORGEOUS huge park!

Terrific property - elegant, well-maintained, classy - with the nicest staff I have ever seen. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is because the room was tiny and not optimally configured for a such a small space: For instance, the desk and kettle/glasses took up way too much space; install shelves to save space and give guests somewhere to put things.

From the moment we arrived to the front sliding doors we were greeted with open arms and the most friendly face! We loved how you received an actual key to get into your room and returning it upon your way out to venture the streets of Paris made us feel so safe as well as secure! You didn't have to worry about having it with you, where to put it, accidentally losing it! We also loved how they would lock the door from the inside if the front desk associate stepped away from their post.

From the moment we turned the handle to our room we were in AWW with the view from our room, the doors to open the window to let fresh air come through, and the comfiness of our bed. It was like floating on a cloud. We are already looking forward to another trip to Paris and staying with Hotel Beausejour Renelagh!

Each room is unique. It is a simple boutique hotel with just 60 rooms. Breakfast is 11 euro per day additional but with a variety of breads and croissants from the corner bakery, juice, egg, fruit and cafe us lait. 24 hour doorman and very pleasant and friendly concierge who speak English. Pleasant artwork throughout, comfortable sitting areas, and all rooms are being updated and have coffee and tea maker in them as well as free wi-fi with a strong signal. We love the neighborhood. Many great restaurants and shopping close by.

Very nice location close to the OECD. The room on the 6th floor, however, was small and with thin walls. The English channels did not work due to a \"problem with the antenna\". And in the middle of the stay internet went down for two days.

Beausejour Ranelagh Hotel

1 minute walk from subway and less than 30 min walk to Trocadero this hotel sits in the perfect area to travel around the sights and is in easy walking distance to Auteuil and Longchamp . There are plenty of restaurants/shops and supermarkets within walking distance . Hotel itself is very good for its cost . Rooms are on the small side but most hotels of this type are the same in Paris , bed was very comfortable , no problem with WiFi and the front desk extremely welcoming and helpful .

Very nice hotel. Location more in a residential area, great access to public transportation and nice neighborhood cafes / bars. Room was decent, if a bit tight, but not unusual for Europe. Bed was great. Bathroom tub only had a hand held shower head, not a proper shower. Breakfast was sufficient - for the money, would recommend going somewhere in the neighborhood for breakfast. Nice little outdoor court in the hotel, but was usually occupied by smokers, which made it a bit off-putting.

great place in the western 16th

This was a super place to stay for a short trip to do business in the western 16th arrondissement. The hotel is in a quiet, residential neighborhood, but steps away from plenty of cafes and businesses on Ave. Mozart. The price was very reasonable (especially for something in the 16th) and the staff extremely courteous and responsive. My flight from the US arrived early, but they got me in to my room several hours before the posted check in so I could get a quick nap and freshen up. The room was small, but clean and with a very comfortable bed. The one complaint is American-centric, as the bath/shower, did not come with anything to hang the shower head on, so I had to hold the hose with one hand while showering - never my favorite. But all in all, a very enjoyable stay and I'll go back if business requires I return to that part of Paris.

Ranelagh weekend trip

The hotel is next to Ranelagh metro station on the number 9 line to which is great as this line goes though all the tourist parts so helps with sighting. Just around the corner on the main road are a number of decent cafes that serve nice meals at good prices.
The hotel is nice and has character to it. The room we stayed in had just been redecorated but was clean, warm and no outside noise to disturb you.

The computer was down when I arrived with no timeline for check-in but the issue was resolved and I was able to check in. The staff were all wonderful and very helpful. It is a smaller boutique hotel located super close to restaurants, shopping, bakeries and the OECD.
Wifi was spotty on some evenings.

Exactly what we needed

We wanted to be close to a Metro station and within easy walking distance of the Embassy district. The situation was ideal, the hotel itself entirely adequate for our purposes, and the staff helpful, especially in recommending a neigbourhood restaurant, close enough to walk to in the extremely unpleasant weather. We couldn't have asked for more.

I really like this wee place. It's in a lovely area 2 stops from Eiffel Tower. If you get a refurbed room is great. But if not, the bathrooms in particular are not so hot eg no shower screen over bath. But friendly staff and clean.

Værelset levede ikke helt op til forventningerne fra billederne, men hotellet var generelt superhyggeligt, personalet var fantastiske søde og hjælpsomme. Morgenmaden var lille men god og de serverede rigtig god kaffe.
Meget roligt område, det var dejligt.
Vi oplevede kun én nat hvor der var ret lyt mellem værelserne - men vi kan bare have været uheldige med værelsesnaboen.
Tæt på hotellet ligger upperclass shopping som fx Chanel, og 20 min. gågang finder man også et fint lille shoppingcenter.

Personnel des plus affables et déjeuner aussi varié que succulent. Nous sommes sortis enchantés de notre séjour.

Toutefois, au préalable, les photos des chambres montrées sur le site devraient correspondre à chacune de celles-ci. La présentation d'une série pêle-mêle de ces photos a engendré de la confusion au moment de choisir la chambre qui devait correspondre à nos besoins.

We never arrived to the hotel since the trainssytem in Germany broke down.
We called and e-mailed to try to rebook our stay but still haven't heard from the hotel.

Je voyage régulièrement et cet hôtel a été un coup de cœur pour moi. Tant dans l’apparence que dans l’accueil. Ce n’est pas un hôtel extravagant ou extrêmement chic mais simple accueillant qui respire la bonne humeur et la joie de vivre.

Atendimento excelente. Todos os funcionários são muito educados e prestativos. O café da manhã é muito gostoso para o padrão de Paris. O hotel conta com uma parceria com uma academia 24h perto do hotel. A academia é bem completa. O quarto que eu fiquei era um pouco pequeno e só tinha banheira, mas eles têm quarto maiores com chuveiro.
