I've stayed at Mercure all over the world and I find that they're a reliable chain. This is the first time that I've stayed at their Aparthotel. It was very suitable and I would do it again.

The good.

The check-in was easy and quick and the staff were attentive and helpful.

The room was large and well fitted out. Nice towels and the kitchen was well stocked with cutlery and utensils and the duvet was really warm...thank goodness.

The Bad.

The room was really dark, to the point of being difficult to unpack in the evening. I was there in late Sept and the room was frigid. Having said that, the staff brought up a heater which worked a treat.

The Ugly.

The staff were continually entering the room. The first day they knocked and entered while I was in the shower. Even after, when I put out the DND sign, they still knocked and entered at odd hours. Even when I was out they entered and cleaned the room unrequested.

The hotel website states that checkout is at 12:00, but from 10:00 I was encouraged to leave. Even though I showed them that checkout was at midday. The front desk staff agreed with me but too little, too late.

Having said all of that, I would definitely stay again, knowing what I know now.

Overall Mercure hotel is a safe and sound place. Staff are nice. However, bathrooms need more attention. Bottled water would have been nice. There’s a water fountain for you to fill your own bottles but that’s on the ground floor near the lifts. Local dining places are walking distance. Uber drivers turn up pretty quick. 30 mins from Gare du Nord station. 7 mins drive to Eiffel Tower.

Location is nice, but the “Aparthotel” is not serviced properly. We had a 4 night stay and only received one dishwashing pod. Had to buy a 20 pack for €6 from the store which was unnecessary. Staff of the hotel reception was friendly and helpful.

There is a nice park on the River Seine which is a 10 minute walk away. The train, metro and bus stations are around 10 minutes away - Porte de Saint-Cloud and Issy Val de Seine (RER train and bus). Very close to the PSG football stadium and not too far from Roland Garros (tennis).

We had to change rooms because of the smell of cigarettes. The service was efficient and nice but the rooms and bedding are old and uncomfortable. The heater did not work, and we were freezing. We had to ask for an extra blanket and had to wait 2 hours to get one for 3 beds

Not a great experience

The hotel is not bad… but, many things went wrong in my room. The fan didn’t work in the kitchen so the fire alarm would go off. And they said they’d send someone to fix it. But, never fixed it. And on my second day staying there the electricity went away in my room for one full hour while I was in the shower…. No explanation, just that the building is old… another night it was just VERY LOUD WITH people next door. We complained but nothing. The hotel is in a nice area but, don’t expect it to be a GREAT stay. Expect things to go not so smooth.

Amazing. Very close to the munich airport. Quite a distance to the city but not too bad. Cleanliness is top notch, rooms are 2021 standards with usb chargers. Breakfast was good. Free shuttle to the airport as well. If I ever visit madrid again, I'll be back.

Nice apartment on the whole, however it was not very clean. For example, there are large vents for the air conditioning and these were dripping with dust. It was cold and we had a little plug in radiator which was broken and the blankets werent clean. Some of the fittings were broken

We stayed in the apartment styled rooms with a tiny kitchenette. The room was okay. Bed was small and mattress was uncomfortable. There is no 24 hour lounge where I could go and with my laptop. Laundry room has little to no instructions in english for washer and dryer settings, which was a big waste of time.

Good value for the space!

Used the hotel as a base for sight seeing around Paris. It's not really in a walkable distance for this but the metro station is not far and the fare was reasonable (5.20 EUR for a day pass zones 1 and 2 which is fine for central paris). On first impressions of the aparthotel, it was a bit bland just a lift. The room itself smelt a bit but that was cured by an airing. The apartment was large with a separate bedroom and living room. A small well thought out kitchen area was well positioned behind a wall in the living room area. The living room was large enough to have the double and single sofa beds out for our three children to sleep in and we still had room for a table to eat at and the balcony was a nice place to eat breakfast. Paris property is going to be expensive but I thought the accommodation was good value for the space as long as you dont mind being a little out of central Paris.

The Aparthotel is where I stayed. Was told there was mini fridge and there was none. AC bad so hot in room.

The real issues are with the checkin desk. While the people were friendly there were was usually only 1 person at the checkin desk so lines began to form. The line would be 8-12 people and you would see a “desk person “ walk by and go in back room. And this is at 16:00 so prime checkin time. So basically every time I went to front desk I waited more than 10-15 minutes for help which is slow even by French standards.

Location is quite an convenient towards metro station. There are 2 supermarkets within 2 mins walk.

In the room I chose (46m2) there are 1 room a living room and a balcony. It’s been quite comfortable and privacy is there given the 2 has seperate doors and are seperated by a corridor.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had in a hotel. The first night the toilet was blocked so couldn't use it in the morning. The bathroom door had holes in it, the cupboard bottom shelf was broken and when I got up sweating at night, I realised it was because I was sleeping on a plastic mattress protector... No bedsheet!! Complained to the reception in the morning, not even an apology, told me to speak to Expedia?? I have seen 2 star hotels better than this... 4 star my foot, the mattress is like a park bench as well. Do NOT book, your better off in an Ibis or a Campanile compared to this, atleast with them you get what you pay for.

We had a fantastic experience at the Apparthotel Mercure! The staff was fantastic! I purchased tickets to Versailles the night before we wanted to go, and the tickets didn’t say anything about being able to show them on your phone for admission. So, they very graciously printed them out for us at the hotel desk. We were so glad they did because when we went to Versailles, we heard somebody come over and try to show their ticket on their phone, and the advance ticket attendant made that person go stand in the regular line to have it verified (and that line was literally hundreds of people long, compared to the 15-20 people in the advance ticket line). The apparthotel had plenty of space for our family of five. There is a living room with several pull out sofa beds and chairs and a separate bedroom. I read some complaints about the appearance of some of the rooms at the apparthotel. While it wasn’t completely perfect, I really didn’t notice much beyond some wall marks in our room. The neighborhood is lovely. There’s a grocery store just down the street a little way, and we ate at some great restaurants. I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat!

Dirty and old. The lobby/entry looked fantastic, but the room was an old apartment that hadn't been deep cleaned in years. Deep dust on the ventilation, food stains on the ceiling, urine still on the floor and toilet seat. At least the sink and tub looked wiped down and the sheets seemed clean. The bed is old and uncomfortable and the décor is quite dated.

Overall I liked my room but I thought the staff was terrible. They didn’t seem very pleasing and the bar tender was TERRIBLE!!! Very bad attitude. I had initially asked the front desk to eat on the top floor but he said it was closed but I could bring food up there to eat. I went next door to order the food and when I got back there was someone different at the desk and they said that I couldn’t go to the top floor. I explained to him that I was told that I could go on the top floor to eat. That was so disappointing!!!

Ok if you like public transportation

The staff were excellent but, the room conditions were not the greatest. However, we got a great deal so taking that into consideration you have to lower your expectations. There is the metro and bus lines but, I do not care to travel on those with my wife and 3 kids so we took an Uber Van everywhere and spent about $500 on Ubers during our 4 days in Paris. It was a quiet and very safe area. Next time I’ll pay more and stay closer to the city.

Appears to be an old apartment building that has been converted into a serviced apartment offering.
I stayed here for 5 night with my family and was terribly disappointed
good things
the location is good, it is a short 5-7 mins walk from the metro and the bus station
there is a carrefour express at a short distance
the kitchen is quite well equipped
the rooms seem to be average size, although quite crowded with 3 people sharing

When we first got the hotel the staff were friendly and very helpful and even let us into a room early as we arrived an hour before check in which was really helpful. When we looked around we could see the room had been newly renovated and look really lovely apart from the fact that they had failed to update some things which let the overall appearance of the new room down.
One of the features that you could tell hadn’t been changed was the sliding doors to the balcony and the balcony it self. The stones on patio were loose and not cemented together and the light above balcony was rusted and not turning on. The sliding doors were hard to open and one side, once was open, wouldn’t close. Someone came 3 times to try and fix the door. once they had it closed we didn’t bother opening it again we just left it because we already wasted a whole day in the hotel room waiting for the door to be fixed so we could safely leave our belongings inside. But when the cleaner came in a couple of days later, she opened that side of the door and was clearly unable to close it so left it open. When we got back to room we called straight to the reception to tell them we needed a change of room and we were very unhappy about the fact the door had been left wide open with our belongings inside. They refused and reassured us this time it would be fixed. I am very disappointed with how this was handled. Really let the hotel down, could have been a lovely stay and the surrounding town was charming.

Good location, but fleas in the room

We were initially pleased with this hotel (location, price, staff, etc.), until we discovered fleas in our room. This is a pet-friendly hotel, allowing animals to stay in all rooms for a 15 EUR fee. We were not traveling with pets and do not begrudge those who do, but we do not wish to share parasites and biting bugs. The staff was very understanding and showed us a number of other rooms, but all of them had signs of fleas and pet hair. No doubt that it is hard to find value in central Paris, and our family was planning to stay three days. But I would recommend against this place in the future. If you travel with pets or have pets at home, fleas can transfer very easily (pet-to-pet, or traveling home in your bags/clothes). We quarantined our baggage upon return home to make sure we didn't bring any parasite problems into our home or onto our pets (we have dogs and cats at home).

Front desk was very friendly upon arrival. Room was very clean and big enough for our family of five. Beds were a little uncomfortable but the staff happily brought up additional pillows. Metro was a short walk and most attractions were about a 10-15 min ride. Grocery store and bakery down street. Nice stay, quiet in the evenings and it appeared it had A/C although we didn't use it.

Well located but not a Mercure signature

I was expecting an appart hotel with the comfort and cleanliness of a mercure hotel but it was not the case.
The room was not very clean with a lot of stain on the couch and wall but the sheets and towels were clean.
Very low equipment in the kitchen: no bowl, visors, bottle opener.... nothing to clean : no dish towel or sponges...
On top our induction cooker went on fire on our first day , luckily the children were not there

On the positive side, the staff was great : very nice and reactive and the location was great in Boulogne being able to walk to the shopping area. The beds were comfortable.

The stay was ok but not at the level of what you expect from Mercure.
I would still recommend for the location but would lower expectations

No a/c during summer in Paris?

This is a dark and horrendously hot set of apartments. The a/c does not work so you have a choice:- 25+Celsius in the room or leave the window open and put up with the noise of people shouting in the street. I mentioned the a/c immediately after checking in but was told it was working fine. Never again.

The parking was quite nice and very reasonable price for Paris (EUR 15)

Nice residence style hotel in outskirts of Paris

The room was very clean, and housekeeping services were great. Kitchenettes made it easy to fix breakfast and pack lunches for an economical way to enjoy Paris, with only one meal out per day. Dishes and utensils were good, but wished there had been a cutting board. Showers always had plenty of hot water. It is close to a Metro stop, and grocery, bakery, and pharmacy. Also, neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. Took a few more minutes to get to central Paris, but that was not a problem for us. Highly recommend for the great value.

Stayed in 1 bed apt for 4 nights with family. Though it is part of mercure group, apartment is not having kind of comfort, facilities and looked pretty basic. It is not worth the money and not recommend this. Expect 1-2 star level if you are booking.

Decent place

This is an affordable hotel b/c it's on the outskirts of the city. The good news is that there is a Metro stop very close by. The space itself is an odd combination of bleak & modern. If you get a balcony, that's a bonus. Otherwise, the rooms are dark and space is very limited. The rooms have kitchenettes but no coffee makers. Very nice, helpful staff. VERY GOOD restaurant on site for breakfast or continental option @ lobby bar.

Great apartment for young families

Nice quiet location in outskirts of Paris. Big room and nice little kitchen with electric cooker, microwave, fridge, dishwasher perfect for family with babies or toddlers trip to Paris. You can find few places on street parking around the hotel and was told by hotel staff it was free in August. There were pay machines. Metro station is five mins walk away and PSG ground is nearby. Small carrefour city couple mins walk at end of the road from hotel. Check in/reception desk is located next door at the main Mercure Hotel.

Good for families

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was close to many things, including stores, restaurants, cafes, a pharmacy, a nice park, and the Metro station. The staff was so nice and very helpful with advice about getting into downtown Paris. They arranged a taxi for us to the airport and held our luggage in a locked storage room after we checked out and before it was time for our taxi. We will definitely stay here again.

I would go back if there is some changes in the hotel. I love Paris a beautiful city to visit.
