It was an okay stay. The room was not as shown on the website. The bathroom shower/toilet/sink combo was extremely small. There is no AC in the room, but the windows open. The main redeeming grace is that the staff were very nice and helpful

Great little hotel with good price only 6 minutes walk from marcel samba train station . Nice staff - clean room and bathroom . Room 607 is for sure great and peaceful . I could hear the birds early morning which was surprising . Thanks staff for your hospitality

In addition, the room had bad smell.

I wasn't expecting too much given that it is 2 star however what I got was not as advertised, no kettle, mould & noisy. Initially when I complained I was not happy at the response but the next day I was moved to a room which was cleaner, quieter and had a kettle! The rest of my stay was what I had been expecting, plain and (mostly) functional

Well I found the hotel rather old and pokey. That would have been alright if the price was moderate, but the cost was A$200 per night; admittedly, this was during the French Open staged a few kilometres away....

Very basic room that could do with a new floor as the carpet was quite old and stained. The bathroom facilities were clean but the shower fitting was broke. Staff were friendly and the room was cleaned each day. However, I was woken very early to loud repair work being done on a number of mornings with no explanation from staff.

Horrible hotel. In other countries the price will be 35 USD Max for it. In Paris it is more than 100 USD. Filthy carpet which was not washed for years. Tiny bathroom. U-shaped old mattress which is too soft. Room has bad smell. Walls are made of paper, impossible to sleep after 7.30 am. Can hear every neighbor and the maid. I suggest to use chain hotels in Paris because private hotels have low standards.

If you’re a solo traveller, looking for a cheap place to stay, this isn’t so bad. The bathroom was essentially a porta-potty in a small room. No AC. The floors looked quite dirty.

Very basic but had a decent sleep

Location is good, bed was comfortable, heating worked fine. Room was very quiet facing an internal courtyard. Bathroom had a small window that a room across the courtyard looked down into..... Room was very dated and bathroom in serious need of a revamp - chipped basin, paint pealing and mould. Safe didn’t work. WiFi was reasonable but needed to be logged into every time you took a break despite selecting remember me.

Ok for short stay

This is fine if you are not staying long and are not expecting much from your room .The bathroom is tiny but very clean. The temperature is quite high, I had to sleep with the window wide open. Otherwise the area is OK, plenty of restaurants around.

Im glad I booked timhotel. Its a bloody bargain for what you get, which is certainly enough room for one person and almost definitely enough for 2 close people. I will say that you should be prepared to pay for a taxi if your coming home late, as it's a pretty seedy area. Particularly between timhotel and the hippodromme De longchamp, as I found out, is not a nice walk.

Our expenses budget doesn't go that far in Paris. This was only €90 but it felt cheaper than that. The tiny room was supposed to be non-smoking but it stank of stale tobacco. I gave up trying to work the television.

Nice petite hotel.

The hotel was quite good, considering that it was so affordable. The area has plenty of good restaurants to choose from, and supermarkets. It's not very close to the main attractions, but you can easily get everywhere with the metro or the bus. It's almost impossible to get lost with all the signs.
Staff was nice and available all the time.
The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is that the elevator was so tiny. It was only big enough for my mom and me (120 pounds each), without big luggage. I seriously don't know what the guests would do if they were overweight. But this is a very small complication for me. I was able to get to my room anyway, and that's what matters. The room and bathroom were small too, but we didn't need much space anyway. The idea of traveling is to spend the day walking around the city, enjoying yourself. I only needed the hotel to sleep and shower, and that I did without problem.
Overall, I was pretty pleased.

Unfourtunately we got there told all was ok , went off for bit sightseeing before coming back to complete check in only to be told they were actually full but they had a different hotel nearer football ground . They moved us with taxi ( the least we would expect ) . Yes the new hotel much better position for football thou area noisy less desirable and hotel thou friendly quality was lacking ! ( & guessing a lot cheaper !)
New hotel grubby rooms , unusable shower (unless size 0 model !) on main noisy road stuffy with little amenities ....
And to be honest when emailed hotels .com not even reply !!!!!!! I believe I'm owed a refund for this but won't hold my breath

Few days in Paris.

The hotel is nicely connected to the downtown Paris. Most of the staff are friendly. The rooms are okay in terms of conditions and comfort. I guess for this prove it would be cruel to expect anything better in Paris. There can be a small fridge in the rooms though.

My brother and I stayed a few days here in October. 5-10 minutes to the metro. Laundromat a couple doors down the street. Lots of places to eat nearby. Rooms serviced every day. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Although we arrived 5 hours before check in they allowed us to store our gear while we went exploring. Free WiFi was good but slow during peak hours. Decent hotel for a decent price.

Budget hotel, may work for some and not for others

After staying in diffierent hotels over the last one week, it was a very bad experience.

This hotel might work for students or travelers who are single and dont mind the noise.

We had stayed in a 4* hotel before and I needed a hotel for just one day. I thought Tims hotel was more like a chain like Best Western.

The room was clean - relatively speaking.

1. Carpets were very old.
2. Bathroom was extremely small.
3. We got a room close to the road and hence very noisy and busy traffic,.My wife and I really couldnt sleep.
4. It was a non smoking room. But, the room had smoke smell. The receptionist was very accomodating to us and asked if we needed to change the room. Since we had checked in, we were too tired to take up on that offer.
5. The lights made the room pretty dingy.

The elevators are super small and tiny..225 kgs only or 3 persons.

In general, if you are a student or a budget traveler (hotel was not cheap) and you just need a place to sleep, then this could be OK. For us, we needed quite, some space and a feeling of fresh.

It may work for many or some, but it definitely was not what we expected. I guess, our expectation was way off here.

The staff was quite friendly and they offered to book taxi for us to the airport as well as showed us where we can go to grocery stores to get some breakfast etc.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We never would have navigated PARIS so well without their help.Everything was clean and tidy.
The area is a nice paced neighborhood with great markets and places to eat. A post office as well as shops are nearby. The Metro is also in walking distance.
A great area to relax in after visiting the bustling areas of Paris.

Ayant vu la mauvaise note ainsi que les avis négatifs sur internet avant la réservation avec ma compagne, nous avions presque hésité… On s’était même lancé un petit pari.
Au final, quelle bonne surprise !

Certes, la chambre est vétuste et assez petite, mais que demander de plus pour un hôtel qui coûte si peu ? Pour moi, il fait partie des meilleurs en termes de rapport qualité-prix. En dessous de ce tarif, on trouve presque uniquement des dortoirs, donc nous étions très satisfaits.

La chambre était propre, le ménage était fait tous les jours (avec changement des poubelles et des serviettes). Le personnel est sympathique et rend service quand on a besoin (stylos, ciseaux, etc.).

Le seul point négatif, selon moi, reste la cabine de douche, qui est vraiment petite. La salle d’eau en elle-même est correcte, mais la douche est un peu juste, surtout pour une personne à forte corpulence.

Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Il faisait, sans exagérer, 40 degrés dans la chambre. La fenêtre coincée par la lit, même en réussissant à l’ouvrir, il fallait supporter un bruit terrible : un bourdonnement de machine et un bruit de surpresseur, il n’y avait pas de climatisation, même pas de ventilateur !!! Bref la pire expérience de ma vie !

Nous avions réservé deux nuits. Malheureusement mon mari a eu des problèmes de santé importants et avons été dans l’obligation de rentrer à notre domicile. Nous avons donc ‘perdu’ une nuit, deux petits déjeuners et taxe de séjour tout cela a priori non remboursable car nous sommes passés par une plate-forme….
Vous pourriez aussi éviter de mettre cette photo en présentation de l’hôtel car c’est de la publicité mensongère.. notre chambre était petite, vétuste sans parler de la salle de bains avec un système de douche archaïque !
