The location was too remote, it was very expensive to get an uber and took a long time to get to the popular areas. I wish it had been closer to the main part of Paris.

The check in process was great booked 2 rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. When we went to our rooms one of the rooms, had a pull-out bed with stains on it. Very disgusting. When we reported it they came the next day and closed it into a sofa without cleaning. On Sunday there was no dining facilities available in or next to the hotel. It was very incovenient to stay.

We were planning to have dinner at the on-site restaurant on the Friday night and quite disappointed to find out that the restaurant (Greem) was not open on Fridays. Would have been nice to know this beforehand. Rooms were good and the breaklast also was good. Proximity to the metro station and buses was fairly close, about a 10 minute walk which was acceptable. Neighbourhood is a little sketchy but seemed safe enough. I would recommend this hotel based upon the price I paid and the breakfast.

Th e hotel itself was very good and the breakfast was excellent. We were billed twice in one day for the taxes and again at checkout. The front desk confirmed they ordered a taxi for us but taxi company had no record. Be advised of extra charges and no one to follow up.

Our experience at check in was terrible. Despite booking & paying for 2 rooms for 2 nights with breakfast in advance, this was challenged by a very rude receptionist. We were given only 1 room for the 2nd night & we were told our breakfast booking was not accepted as we had not booked with the hotel directly. This was corrected by the manager the following morning but we still found ourselves locked out of the 2nd room in day 2! Awful customer service.

The hotel is fine however the cost is too high compared to what you get in terms of room and overall comfort. There are other hotels cheaper and better. Also I was disappointed that breakfast was not included in the bill and had to be paid separately. This was not clear when I booked.

Not the best location, I thought it would be closer to more amenities. It was okay for cleanliness, unfortunately the cleaning lady didn’t come to clean our room very often, and when she did it wasn’t the best job. We stayed for five nights. Staff was not very friendly not sure if it’s because we spoke only English. The restaurant in hotel was good food, and found the staff in the restaurant to be super friendly.

Had a lovely couple of days here visiting Paris as a stop over with the family. Two adults and 4 children. Service on arrival was excellent and very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable especially the bed. Was only 3 English channels on the tv but ok for us. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. Would definitely stop again

Standard hotel, did the job for a night

Nice hotel close to Paris and a big park with a view. Did the job of being a comfortable place to stay for a stop over. Wasn’t impressed by the high parking charges or breakfast which was very basic and things ran out. They also only had 1 baby chair. Not great when you have 2 babies.

Given the location of the hotel, getting around was a bit challenging. You have to take a bus to the train station which kills 15 minutes, and since it's the last train station in the network, it would take at least 30 minutes to get into the heart of the city.

Novotel needs better cleaning staff

To start the needed more storage for our clothes. I asked to have more clothing hangers brought to the room, they said they didn't have extras. Found rat feces on sofa bed, I told cleaning staff they didn't even want to change the covers.

Location good, not so clean

I've stayed several times before. The rooms really need updating. The carpet is very dirty with old cigarette burns. I stay there because of the location, not the cleanliness. I never got a bill on checkout. They told me that it would be sent! Really? If there is an issue, you will have to resolve it when you get back home from several time zones away.

Great one night stay at Novotel Paris Pont De Sevres. Receptionist was very kind, patient with our kids, gave us a late breakfast, got us checked in a few hours early, and even rescued my daughter's shawl when she left it there. Later we got good advice on leaving luggage at Gare du Nord while we went sight seeing the next day (didn't want to have to return). Got good advice on bus direct to Versailles. Only complaint is walk from metro to hotel is a little tricky. Breakfast was very good - many options.

Great Hotel 20 minutes drive from Eiffel Tower

We are a family of 4, kids (15 and 11), we stayed at this Novotel for 1 week on our trip to Paris and had an excellent experience staying here. Decent rate, Staff is very nice and helpful, they all speak English, food at the restaurant was good, good price and service was great. We rented a car and drove downtown Paris, Eiffel tower is only 20 minutes drive, very close to the Palais Du Versailles ( about 15 minutes drive). Our room was clean, enough space for all of us, mini fridge, expresso/coffee machine, safety box, HD LCD TV. Only 1 English channel (BBC) for those who like to relax and watch TV after a long day of walking around. We did not use the public transit but metro is a few minutes walk, staff at hotel vey knowledgeable about public transit and places to go around. Underground parking available at a decent fee. Wi-Fi available free of charge everywhere, PC and Printing available is needed as well. I will definitely come back again.

Poor heating in the room. No maintenance. Very poor internet. Highly under staffed. Rooms do not look at all like the photos on the web site. Sheets don't get changed until you check out, poor breakfast bar. Bedding is not clean, pillows need to be changed. Just the worst hotel I stayed at. I booked it believing it was 4 stars, I give it 2 at best.

Smart city hotel with helpful staff and very nice room. The only negative was that a poster in the lift from the basement garage to reception promised catering anytime. However, when we asked about getting something to eat before an early start at the theatre, we were told that on Sunday evenings the kitchen does not serve anything before 7pm, the start time of the show we had to go to. Also, being Sunday evening before Christmas they did not know which restaurants were open. However, they did upgrade our room so we were amply appeased!

Hotel is the last Metro stop on the line without driving too far into Paris, this is why we choose it. The hotel was a good price with rooms that had just had a major refurbishment, they were clean, comfortable and rather chic!

There is a secure underground car park which cost E17 per night however we were not charged for this. That was a really nice surprise!!

The staff were brilliant and they helped us with any questions.

Breakfast and the bar were good and well stocked.

Nice Hotel for Families

We are a family of four with two teen boys. We stayed at the Novotel Sevres while visiting relatives in town. Our room had a king bed and sofa bed. The sofa bed was on the small side and comfortably sleeps two younger children or one teen. For us, the room was crowded. We probably should have rented two rooms. However, there were lots of positives: an espresso maker, hot water for coffee & tea, a small refrigerator stocked with drinks, lots of closet and storage space, two TVs, a separate toilet room and another with shower/sink. Free WIFI. Lots of electrical outlets. The breakfast buffet was a hit since there were so many choices of food and drink. The reception desk staff was extremely helpful answering all types of questions and providing assistance. They stored some of our luggage when we left for a few days to visit London.They also called taxis, explained the bus system, and helped with printing tickets.

Value for money but far away from the centre

We chose this hotel because the price was reasonable and it is on the same side of Paris than Rolland Garros, and we came by car so didn´t have to drive trough the city. I would try to find a hotel closer to the city centre if you´re going for the sights. Service was good, and breakfast too. Parking was really convenient, safe garage for reasonable price. Fast wifi worked perfectly in our room, no extra costs.

Loved the free wifi!

We have stayed in Novotel before in China and Leeds. Both were very good. This one was okay except that the airconditioning didn't cool the room and the very busy street below our room prevented having the windows open.

We really liked having a small sofa and mini fridge in the room and of course the free wifi. A larger TV with all the channels working properly would be a plus. The bed was really good.

The location was okay but a bit sketchy and sparse in terms of services and the noisy street was problematic. The hotel is near the Seine River and not too far from the Metro.

We did not sample the food in the hotel and the area restaurants were basically desserted.

We got good value for our money and the service was good. Overall, the hotel was okay but it seems that it would be so easy for Novotel to make it so much better.
