Basic, neither good or bad

This hotel is an average 4 star hotel. If you are business traveler, it is fine, as a tourist, the area has nothing to offer.
Breakfast was good, service by waitress Nicole was amazing she was lovely, the rest of the staff, was always in a corner, talking, you had to go ask for what you wanted. No luggage cart, so it was hard takibg all bags to the room Carpet in hallways and in rooms feels dirty. Great Single use amenities , *in a junior suite, coffe maker but only ONE little bottle of water complimentary on a 3 night stay. Nothing bad about the hotel but nothing special either .

Breakfast times are very misleading. The signs in the hotel tell you to come either at 7am or 10-10:30 am for the least amount of people traffic but they start packing everything up before 10 so get your breakfast fast before it’s gone

Staff is great, hotel is new, well maintained and clean. However, there was a constant \"humming\" sound I could hear in the hallway, some time during my stay. Not sure if it was the elevator or a generator somewhere in the building. It was not enough to bother me, as I sleep very deeply. Restaurant was good and overall experience was pleasant. Will definitely stay there again.

The hotel is modern and attractive in general but the room would have been more comfortable without the really stark bright lighting. Breakfast was a bit disappointing in terms of variety and replenishment during busy times. At breakfast there was no where to make coffee, you need to try to get a staff member's attention and they bring it to you which isn't ideal. Reception staff were helpful but for some reason unable to order taxis in advance. The hotel is close to the airport (about 10 minutes) but not very central. However, there is a bus stop right outside the hotel and the bus into the city centre takes about 20 minutes. Overall, a nice hotel but needs a few tweaks.

Checking in the receptionist could not find my booking. After a while trying to find it and I provided the booking confirmation number she was able to find it. When I asked her what was the issue she replied rudely “You have too many names”. Making me feel I had done something wrong even though the booking name was exactly written as in my passport which she was holding. It was not a warm welcoming reception as it felt bigoted against Spaniards, Mexicans and other cultures with more than 1 name and surname. Things didn’t improve after that as I told her that I had exactly the right number of names and she replied “ok, whatever you say”. I didn’t escalate from there because we had to start working and she was taking already too long to check us in. I find hard to believe my experience to be an isolated one and it has left me with such a bad feeling about that trip that will never go back to any UNA hotel.

We stayed there just as a stopover for the night where we checked in late and left early. Room was large and well laid out. The plastic barrier at the bottom of the shower door was gone and so the water spilled onto the bathroom floor. It was a new hotel supposedly but the materials used were not great. So expect this to become run down after a few years. Breakfast was quite sad looking and not tasty.

Comfortable business hotel

The name change (from ATAHotel to UNAHotel) threw us off for a good half hour. We were circulating the area looking for UNAHotel and only seeing the tiny A4 sign on the door. The staff made up for it by being amazing. Room was very nice, true international 4-star standard. Bathroom was superb with many fancy fittings. Breakfast was a delight- good variety, fresh and cooked food and calm atmosphere. This hotel is a little far from the City but it also means it is quieter and cleaner. It is in a commercial area so please gauge your expectations. Would be nice if they had tea making facilities in the room. Will use UNA group again.

Clerk tried to over charge and hotel was average.

I reserved a regular room online, when I went to the hotel the clerk gave me a handicap room. Handicap is smaller,no shower,bidet, etc. I called down to change my room and he put me on hold for 5 minutes and I hung up. I called back and I told him I did not order a handicap room and I want a regular room. He said they are sold out and that I can upgrade for 30 more euro to a bigger room, I argued with him for several minutes and magically he found a room. He also told me I need to pay 12 euro for parking, on the app it said parking was free. So more or less this clerk tried to charge me extra 82 euro for 2 night stay. Carpets were dirty,beds uncomfortable.I will not be coming back and would not recommend.

1. Wouldn't recommend, first the elevator to the garage wouldn't work, I was stuck downstairs in heat for 15 minutws with luggage,then they stick me in a handicap room which I didn't sign up for. I called down to complain and he put me hold for 5 minutes and I hung up. I called back again and he said they are full and for 30 more euros per night he will put me in a junior aweet. I said no and we argued for several minutes, I told him i am not going to pay more money, then \"magically\" he found me a non handicap regular room which I originally paid for. Handicap rooms are completely different, smaller and are missing shower, bedet, chairs,etc. He also tried to charge me 12 euro per night for parking when the app said free parking. I had to repack all my gear and was very tired. Also he encouraged me to park my $25k motorcycle in the front lot by a major street and told me it was safe, other staff disagreed. After a long hot drive on a motorcycle no one needs to put up with this nonsense and blantant overcharging. I would not recommend this hotel, plenty of hotels with great customer service in the area at the price I paid for. Breakfast was ok,hotel rooms were ok, carpet needs cleaning, ac only goes down to 20 c, mattress was uncomfortably firm, the rest of the staff are First and last time at a Unahotel, if I didnt stand up for myself I would be out 84 euro for a 2 night stay.

Outside the city center, there isn’t much around the hotel. The hotel seems to cater more to business meetings and conferences. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was a good size as well. If I had a car again, I would stay here as parking is free and one can take a bus into town quickly and easily.

Overnight stay at UNA

Pretty good hotel at the outskirts of Bologna. The staff and property was really good with underground parking. You just need to ask about the underground garage but easily accessible just you would not know how to get to without asking the staff. There is not much around the hotel for food though, we found a restaurant which was about 1/2 mile away Which was really good food.

As in the title, this hotel was okay - it was good value for money (compared to staying closer to or in the city) especially as we required parking. The hotel had everything necessary but nothing amazing. We stayed in a superior double room and there wasn't much superior about it, it was just a double room. There weren't any facilities in the room that made you want to spend any more time than absolutely necessary such as anything for eating or drinking - only plastic cups, no jug, mugs, or tea/coffee, cutlery or plates. The breakfast buffet was okay (certainly not the best we've had when in Europe). The hotel itself is located about 20-30 mins drive from the main city and kind of seems like it's a bit in the middle of no where (which makes the city view a bit irrelevant). However, it is a two minute walk to the bus stop which takes you right into the city (for €1.50 p.p.). There is a supermarket tucked away about a 5 minute walk, as well as a few cheap pizza places within a 10min walk (all in different directions) and an amazing gelato shop that is also about 5 mins walk. In general, it's a good place to stay if you have other things to do! Probably better suited for business rather than a holiday!

Great hotel for Bologna if you have a car

Easy and comfortable hotel with a car. It is close to the highways, outside the city center, but easy acces by bus. Spacious rooms, full buffet breakfast included, and free parking. Would probably stay closer to the center if we did not have a car. However, we had a couple of good dinners and gelato (😎) within an easy walk of the hotel. Would stay again, but probably not for everyone. Two thumbs up

The hotel looks great when you first check in. Very stylish. The rooms are big with a decent bathroom.

However, our air conditioning didn't work (even after reporting it) so we had to resort to opening the window which meant we had to endure the traffic noise.

Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.

This is not a good hotel for business. It's clean, and the staff is nice. It seems a bit dated though, and the TV did not work and was not fixed in the two days I was there. Not that I watch it a lot, but I do like my news in the morning. Too expensive for what you get.

Arrived 3h later as planned based on trains delays to Bologna. Restaurant closed at 10.30, the bar had minimal food offerings, the neighborhood not inviting for late night food explorations. Room and bed was OK, breakfast good and diverse.

Nice Hotel to visit Bologna by Car

This is a nice hotel on the city edge, 15 minutes buy bus 14, the bus stop is in front of the hotel. The hotel provide free under-ground car secure car parking, good breakfast with hot and cold variety of food. There is also a nearby small shopping center with a supermarket in it. The WiFi is good, and the room has a different has a TV with a multi-language news channels, premium channels are in Italian.
The only thing I did not like it much is the cleaner smell they use for the towels in the bathroom, it was a little strong from me, and there was no ironing board in the room, otherwise all is good.

Perfect hotel 5 star feel with 4star price

We loved this hotel! They have plenty of free parking, the staff was friendly and welcoming and the hotel was beautiful. The room was great, spacious, big soft comfortable bed, a great bathroom with nice big walkin shower. The wifi was also fast, we were able to video chat and stream with no issues on multiple devices.
The included breakfast was very nice, the foods never changed and we were there for 5 nights and it was still a great spread.
As I mentioned before, the staff was so nice, my wife hurt her ankle while walking the town and they had a chemical ice pack for her.
The hotel is far from the city center, but we took the bus (#14) from right in front of the hotel, and even the drive in it was quick. It was a great location too if you were going to visit nearby cities by car. Easy on/off from the autostrada.

Rossella checked us in after a large group checking in for IBM conference and she was lovely and so very helpful - advised us on the regular bus to the old town and the correct bus to take back and do pleased we followed her advice. Room lovely and clean , amenities good .a late night cuppa at the bar on return from old town prepared by delightful Laura and a great nights skeep - thank you !
