The hedge at the driveway exit is very high, blocking the sight. It is not safe.
There is a glass splash by the shower tab, about 2 feet wide. It is very difficult to turn on the water. There is no shower curtain, need to hide at the bathtub corner to take the shower so as to avoid splashing water to the floor.
In general, the room is clean. The carpet is very clean. A very nice stay.

Was not a great NH experience, I expected

The breakfast it was supposed to be until 1030, but they do not replenish anything after 945 and completely cleaned up by 1015. The gym and pool are located in the same room, and you have to get a key and a reservation from the desk if you want to use it. You only get 50 minutes. The best part was the convenience of a superstore and the mall right next door.

We had stayed in NH before in Madrid and it was very nice, this one in Bologna does not feel like a 4 star hotel.
We booked a family room, they gave us a 2 rooms with connecting doors. The place is listed as family friendly, we had our 3 year old with us and there is really nothing for kids, not even a playground.
The room was not very clean, the bathroom had mold in it, the room smelled like someone had smoked weed in it.
Breakfast was ok, and staff were great and friendly.
The hotel’s restaurant was closed for the first two nights, so imagine arriving with a toddler in the evening and no food available at the hotel. Luckily there are plenty of restaurants around.

Nice, but don't depend on the bus!

Nice hotel but not close to the city. There is a bus stop just outside, and we waited for the bus there, but it just went right past us. Easy walk next door to a fabulous shopping center. Breakfast was worth it. We had trouble sometimes finding someone at the bar to get us drinks or ice. It was a restful stopover after several weeks on the road.

Although the hotel itself was good - they had no restaurant catering throughout the whole weekend apart from breakfast.
The hotel is situated a long way from town - buses didn't run Sundays so we had hotel lobby food microwaved- not good! We would not have booked this hotel had we known the catering arrangements. The bus into town and back stopped at 8pm so no dinners out without getting a taxi back which was about E20- very disappointing - Bus service was good during the day.

Clean hotel. Inexpensive. It had free parking, which we needed.
I live in the US and not familiar with the customs in Italy, but it seemed super strange that a country in which people drink so much coffee, the rooms didn’t have a coffee machine. It was inconvenient in the morning to dress up and start looking in the hallways for a coffee dispenser. We found one in the lobby.
Otherwise, the hotel was great.

Exterior does not match the interior. The hotel feels a bit run down and worn off. The rooms are great size and have most fascilities you need. However it doesn’t feel like a well maintained NH property which are usually of great quality. At check in the receptionist was also not very helpful. He literally handed us a key and didn’t even give directions or explanation of the facilities , very unlike the usual NH hospitality. The air in the rooms also felt very stuffy and hot and we all woke up with sore throats and dry mouths. Mattresses were soft and some even u stable. Overall the property can benefit from a refresher and maintenance. Staff were not all bad, we were only a bit let down by the receptionist who checked us in for the lack of his engagement and cooperation.

location misleading....noisy traffic area....changed rooms three times due to internet connections....and I was going thru a death in the family with a zoom call set up to discuss funeral arrangements which did not happen due to internet. one of the rooms I was given was a room that dogs were allowed in and I am allergic to dogs. No manager available and front desk staff was rude unhelpful and one even laughed in my face. I would never suggest anyone stay in this hotel or any of their sister hotels. Staff need to be retrained. Room was cold. One young man in training tried to help but he felt bad as he knew what an awful situation I was dealing with. I want a complete refund. Spent a fortune in taxi fare as it was so far from everything. Very misleading advertising.

I arrived to a nice hotel in Bologna NH Hotels for the Iron Maiden concert. Customer service was terrible. They had no idea how to get to Parco Nord by bus. They told me take a taxi, like I want to get rip-off. I asked about going by bus; they didn’t know. I asked them if I needed to buy tickets to the bus, yes I must have a ticket. I was sent to a supermarket in a shopping mall quite a distance. At the supermarket they told me I don’t need a ticket. I went back to the room at hotel, no internet. I went downstairs again to ask about the Internet, I was told to come downstairs to the lobby and connect from there. I said NO I paid for a room with Internet. I told the hotel staff that I was baffled by their lack of customer service skills.
Then he told me if I wanted to go another hotel, I said I would love to go to another hotel unfortunately I had already PAID for this room and going to the concert. I had to ask twice for card to get to the room and neither one worked.
Finally, a incredible nice family with Maiden shirts saw me crying at the lobby and they gave me a ride.
As a tourist coming from USA I was so distraught by how rude the staff in the hotel is and almost everyone is in this city.
Don’t waste your time and money Bologna, much less spend $135 for room and be treated like an annoyance and give customer an attitude
Thanks to Yu, Stefano, and the kids for helping me feel welcome and let me join them to go to the concert. It was cancelled due to bad weather

The room was very big and the bathroom also with shower, bath and two sinks. The swiming pool area was also very clean and nice (the water could have been a little warmer). Parking was not easy during the night in the free area due to a conference thatbwas on at the hotel. The hotel is not close to the town centre but that isbwahtbwe were looking for. We could drive to a park and ride area which was a good option.

The hotel was nice but it’s location was a negative as we had to get a taxi everywhere which cost on average €20 each way.

Breakfast was mediocre and items that were meant to be warm was not which made it not edible.

The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable.

Would recommend moving the toilet roll holder to the back of the door. Would expect that older stayers may have a problem reaching the current location.

We checked into the NH hotel after a week long stay in Chianti mostly because it looked like one of the only nice hotels with an indoor pool. We had a fantastic stay over a Saturday night for a great price. Sunday has late check-out as well and we didn't have to leave our room until 3pm, which worked out great as we had a 6pm flight. The people were super friendly and the we all enjoyed the breakfast. Great value!

Good suburban Bologna hotel

This NH hotel is located a few miles from the city centre in the suburb of Villanova. It's quite a nice, semi-rural location with scenic views to the front of the hotel. Staff were very good, efficient and friendly, with English spoken if your Italian isn't great! We had a standard room which was a good size, air-conditioned and in good decorative order, nice big comfortable bed, good sized bathroom with bath & shower. Large flat-screen tv. Swimming pool and mini-gym in the basement. A continental breakfast buffet was included and of a good standard, with plenty of choices and available from 7-10 and 7-12 on Sunday if you fancy a lie-in. There's a shopping centre next to the hotel with a big supermarket (Ipercoop), and plenty of other stores, plus food court, and Macdonalds/Burger King for fast food fans. The only downside to this hotel was it's location if you don't drive- the nearest public transport is the 89 & 99 bus, which runs every 1/2hr on weekdays and every hour on Sundays, and is about a mile walk from the hotel. Not a difficult walk but in the Italian sun it was pretty tiring! Otherwise if you haven't come by car and you don't fancy the bus a taxi into town is about 15 Euros, 22-25 Euros to the Airport (only 10-15 minutes drive in light traffic). Other that the transport links it's a very good hotel and recommended.

Pool was limited in terms of opening times- so limited that in the 3 days that we were there- it wasn't open- morning or evening. The bar and restaurant were both closed. Staff helpful when recommending somewhere to eat. Couldn't figure out the air con- but every room had it so probably just us. Used as a base- there's nothing of interest within walking distance, shops very near for basics. Mini bar- expensive- go to the supermarket and save a fortune. Rooms OK, cleaned and towel change every day, bath and shower. Free parking may be limited if the hotel gets busy but underground parking available. Breakfast was great.

The Hotels location was suitable for us.

Our disappointment was the restaurant was closed on the weekend? We spent the day in Bologna, decided to have dinner at the hotel instead of downtown. Once we arrived we were told the restaurant was closed. We had to eat our first \"frozen\" Italian pizza from the bar. Something should have been compensated for that, but none was offered or made.

The Morning breakfast buffet was awesome. There was something for all of us to enjoy. Thank you!

The room was incredibly small. We are sure that other rooms were and are available - but the room for our budget was very small for two adults and a 10 year old.

Appreciate the fact the hotel was pet friendly. Had a playground too. The area needed to be mowed and weeds removed - but what kid really cares about that! :) The indoor pool made the Grandson happy!

Yes, I would recommend this hotel for a basic stay to visit Bologna. But make sure before you leave that what you want to do when you return is available.

It's not in Bologna...

When I booked my weekend getaway I didn't read too carefully about the location and this hotel is not in Bologna but very faraway. Only book if you have a car, if you do not have one, do not consider booking it because access to the hotel is fairly limited; from central Bologna only bus 89 during the week and bus 99 will get to the nearest bus stop and then walk for just over a mile in the middle of nowhere!

The hotel itself is fine, nothing much to remember or fault either; room is okay, bed not overly comfy but not a huge deal breaker; breakfast is okay, selection of cold meat, cheeses, etc.

When you book hotel in remote areas, you expect service to follow. Usually NH meets or exceed expectations. This one doesn't. Hotel restaurant was closed for a week so had to take the car to find a place to eat. Hotel bar closes at 10:30pm (seriously early for an NH). Room were also a bit outdated with fairly old TV and very few channels. Staff was however very helpful and did their best to help. Overall the hotel is decent but not at NH standard.

There were 5 receptionists at the counter in the morning, around the time a lot of people wanted to check-out. But only 2 of them attended to the customers to check-out. I said 2 of them, but 2 of them together to accept one customer. All the receptionists didn't seem like the trainees, but why did we have to make a long line to wait just for check-out? Also there was no mini-fridge in the room and that is a disappointment. The good parts are: the room is very clean and the breakfast gives you satisfaction.

Nice Italian hotel.

I have stayed here a few times. It is a nice hotel compared to others I have stayed at in Italy. They have a nice dinner buffet and there are a few restaurants within walking distance. It is a clean hotel with nice amendities in a decent location at a great price.

Good location for access to trade shows or airport.

The location of this hotel is great for access to the Bologna Fair Grounds or the Airport. I was not allowed early check-in, so arrival directly from an overseas flight can be a little tricky if you arrive in the morning (check in is at 2 pm). The room was fairly sparse but very clean. The bed was the worst part of the hotel - small and uncomfortable. Bar is great and there's free wifi access in the common areas in the lobby.
