Excellent service and a diverse breakfast buffet featuring fresh pastries, seasonal fruits, and hot dishes. Spotlessly clean environment. The only downside is that is not a walking distance to anything. But a taxi survive will charge you around 20 euros to Bologna Centrale.

This hotel is on the outskirts of the city, but it was a great choice for us. The hotel is modern, clean and has a friendly staff. The rooms were clean and spacious.

Parking was very convenient and close.

We wound up eating dinner at their restaurant and the food was outstanding.

Breakfast had a variety of options, and everything was fresh and delicious.

The best part about the hotel is the restaurant. Eat here!!! Eat here for breakfast (it's free) and for dinner: it's delicious and very reasonable. The hotel is in a commercial/industrial area, the rooms are large but a bit tired, the bathrooms are room and clean, and they have free, purified water in the halls. The parking in front and in the basement is plentiful, but it fills up quickly. The front desk staff are professional, but curt. The bar is small, but the bartender was excellent (he's from Naples and is very outgoing). But, the crown jewel of this hotel is the restaurant. I would stay here again just for the restaurant.

Only complain for poor variability of food during breakfast. No local cheese (Parmeggiano ex) poor hams ( looks like a cheap one from market) No local products from Bolonia region; cheap mozzarella balls from the supermarket...
Poor choice of fresh vegetables;
You should expect definitely more from a 4's star hotel in Bolonia

Although it was still a somewhat hot day, the management team had decided to turn off the Air conditioning, even when our room was 23C, there was nothing we could do to cool down our room. We had to open window which lead to a grasshopper and other bugs, flies coming into it. Good thing is that we were only there for one night. However the discomfort made us miss a tour we had planned since we were busy clearing bugs out and trying to keep cool.

The property overall is fine but a bit isolated. Breakfast and dinner in hotel restaurant were nice. Not sure how they justify charging 4€ for a Coke in the bar/restaurant when you can take the elevator down one floor a buy the same from the vending machine for 2€. I just felt the value was not worth the price paid. Also asked for two singles and was given a single double bed. Was told someone would come and separate beds but they never did. Had to do it myself and then go and ask for another set of bed linens. Will probably not recommend.

Very good modern hotel with excellent helpful and friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable and a toothbrush was provided for forgetful guests. The restaurant was also very good. My stay was very satisfactory. It would, however be necessary for other prospective guests to know that the location is 6 kilometers outside Bologna. The taxi service is good and reasonable but walking to see the sights is not an option.

Very modern relaxing comfortable clean! Staff was friendly! The restaurant though had very little variety to choose from and over priced. Busy place with lots of people coming and going. Loved that they had a computer with internet in the lobby area so you can check your email or whatever you need to do. Also have great Wi-Fi connection. Lobby is great. Very welcoming overall. Reasonably priced too. Would definitely come back here.

Euro300 per night due to last minute requirement (unrelated apartment booking had been double booked) so needed somewhere to stay. I get peak pricing when supply and demand warrants it, but surely that is to the rack rate as a max. No way is this hotel worth euro300 a night. It's 10 kms outside bologna centre. Enough said

Stayed there 2 times, normal room size with a spacious and very clean bathroom. It is in a remote location, everything is fine as long as you have a car. Plenty of outdoor parking space. The hotel also provides shuttle bus service. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well managed.
A large shopping centre where you can find COOP and restaurants is within 10 minutes drive.
Breakfast is excellent with wide range of selection. Good value!
Definitely will stay there again.

staff is great and helpful but hotel facility is old and cost cutting by management is obvious with limiting amenities; first hotel has shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in one bottle! Only English TV channels are BBC, CNBC, & Russia today. Breakfast buffet was fine but dinner you can have only after 7:30pm, very expensive and mediocre.
The stiffest hotel bed I ever slept on but it was OK. Over all, it was OK for the price paid.

I stayed in a queen suite, for one the queen bed was not even a queen bed, it was two twin mattresses pushed side by side. The description an photos of the room did not match, I was told I would have a stand in shower only to find a tub. The staff was unfriendly an unhelpful. The breakfast buffet was horrible- watery eggs an hard bread. No thanks. Wish I would saved my money an stayed at a BnB .

We booked this hotel just to sleep one night and continue our trip. We payed around 40 pounds and it was decent hotel for these money. The location of the hotel is great for trips because it's just next to the highway and outside of Bologna. When we arrived the parking was completely full but we found a parking place at the end. The room wasn't bad, spacious but not so well maintained - mostly the bathroom. The breakfast was very bad by the way.

Quick stop-over in Bologna.

If you want to visit the city centre then I would recommend staying somewhere more central as you would need a car/taxi/hotel shuttle to ride into the city, plus there is nothing around the hotel e.g. bars/shops etc. The hotel staff were pleasant. We had to wait 10 mins or so for our room. It was quite spacious for a family of 4 with one double sofa bed and one double bed. There were also a couple of chairs in the room. The bathroom was sanitarily clean but the whole room and top sheets (bed-spread) could benefit from a big clean. My main criticism is of the hotel facilities. There is nothing to do. The bar area is just an extension of the foyer and it all lacks atmosphere. There needs to be more seating at the back of the hotel and more to look at vs. the inside of the foyer. Breakfast was good. It felt like this was a hotel for those on business, but even then it needs a big improvement to its' facilities.

The hotel had a perfect location for our vacation

We chose to stay in Bologna for our vacation to Northern Italy, as it seem a perfect driving distance to Venice, Verona, Pisa, Vinci, Florence and off course Bologna. The driving time for all these places were ~1 ½ to 2 hours, except Bologna off course, and that made things work fine for our 8 days stay.

The room, a Junior Suite, worked fine for 2 adults and 2 kids, 11 & 13, and the included Italian breakfast was nice with engine for everyone.

Nearby supermarkets made it easy to shop for drinks to bring along on our day trips, and as we made our lunches the main meal the day, small restaurant in the area made well for light dinners. Needless to say the kids also anted to try the local McD!

After we left, I noticed in the airport that you had forgotten my iPad. I called the front desk, they retrieved it from the room and it is now on it way to my daily in Italy.

The bartender Marco is very friendly and worth striking up a conversation with. Shuttle service to the city center is nice if you've only got 1 or 2 people, but for more than that, a cab is actually cheaper.

I have used this hotel 6 or 7 times now for my stays in Bologna. The staff I have always found to be friendly and helpful. On my recent trip I reported a couple of things that needed fixing in my room and this was resolved before a quick visit to local shops. The hotel is quite a long distance from the centre but I have always found the bus service, no. 35, to be reliable. The only problem is this service stops after 8.00 on Saturday night until Monday morning.

Great Hotel for Business

The Cosmopolitan Hotel was great for its location to the Cosmoprof show. Complimentary shuttles to the show were frequent and I never had to wait more than a few minutes. Travel time is under ten minutes. Hotel breakfasts and late afternoon snacks were a lovely way to wrap up a busy day of work. Rooms are a great size, huge windows that open with no screens were fabulous and the room was kept very clean. Loved that the bed linens were changed every day. Staff was amazing, offered to help with all requests with no hesitation. Wifi was never an issue, was fast for me. Free parking was nice. Distance to Bologna's main city centre was not far at all.

One short night

We have had a very long trip, flight delays and lengthy lay overs. To make things worse, our luggage didn't arrive with us. We were dying to shower and get in bed. The shower flooded and we only had one towel. Disappointing to say the least. Staff was helpful but facilities didn't match their efforts.

Free breakfast was good, and plenty of choice available.

The only real complaint I have is that the bed matress is way too firm and the the pillows are far too soft. Getting a good night sleep was an issue as it could have been more comfortable.

It is in a good location if you hire a car as it's close to the main motorways.

Great location to spend a quick night on a roadtrip. We were driving from Florence to Venice and enjoyed staying at this comfortable, modern hotel on the way. We did not have a pleasant stay in the hotel.
1) When we booked the hotel it wasn't worded correctly that this was a handicapped room. Therefore, when we arrived we saw a shower that had no way of holding the water in one place. We asked to be moved to another room but they told us there was no other available.
2) When we tried to take a shower the water spilled everywhere so we had to put towels around to create a barrier to create a square to keep the water in. Then the worst part was that the water was soooo hot it burned. We called the front desk and they sent somebody that couldn't speak English and he kept saying it was 'OK.' I then asked him to keep his hand in the water for 2 min and then to tell me it was OK but ofcourse he didn't.
3) They finally relocated us to another room. It was much better but when we went to take a shower one of the shower doors came out of place.

It was a very pleasure stay. Price is very reasonable, facility is great. With free WiFi, free breakfast, and free parking, this 4 star hotel offers high value that is hard press to match by other hotel in the area. Rooms are very large, comfortable, have high ceiling, his and her showers in bathroom, which is very large.

Hotel jr suite was nice size, had a full tub, but shower was impossible to use without getting entire bath wet-no curtain. Bed was very uncomfortable, pillows were flat. AIr conditioning would not completely cool room because it shut off when we left w Key so had to start over upon return. Very cheap plastic cups that cracked or leaked. Shuttle to downtown was reasonable and cheaper than cabs but the times available were limited and not convenient. The breakfast hours were also limited, starting at 7:30, especially for weekday business, so did not get to try free breakfast.

The hotel was Ok and the staff were very helpful. I must take taxi to the book fair. The shuttle service was limited.

Not a bad place, but the location...

This is a modern, clean hotel. Probably good for business, but far from anything to see in Bologna. They have a shuttle to city center, but never mentioned it to us, and no airport shuttle. THe food is way too expensive in the restaurant, but there are a few places nearby the mall across the busy highway. We actually found a supermarket in the outdoor mall, and shopped for sandwich fixings and had a nice picnic in the room.

Outside of city but good location

We were able to see the city twice and shop in the plaza across the street that had lots of options. The staff was great! Helpful with everything. We would stay again if we ever visit again.
