A fine place overall…I’m a tough grader. Just a little dated and lacking if you’re wanting a posh type of resort. Snacks and bottled water was a nice touch, compared to how they would gouge you at a nice place in South Beach. Bar staff at the beach bar struggled regularly! Pool kind of meh but I guess did the job. The coolest part is the location right on the Hollywood Beach Boardwalk for walkable access and people watching. Surrounding scene is fun if you want old school Florida - NOT like the ritzy parts of Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale. Rooms are pretty small. Bathtub shower was underwhelming. But again, a decent place that gives you what you need.

Great location just steps from Hollywood Beach and its boardwalk! Check in was a breeze. Rooms are standard but most come with at least a partial view of the ocean & balcony.

The wait staff was friendly & very nice. Food was excellent. I highly recommend the focaccia skillet! The hostesses that seat you were the only thing I wasn’t happy with. Two of the 3 we encountered weren’t pleasant.

The rooms and facility were more of a 3 star at most, than a 4 star facility. Had two rooms for special family vacation, which is why chose this resort. Had mold in the bathroom sink where it meets the counter, and paint hand prints on wooden part of the door from the interior paint. Amenities were a joke with check in and check out times, not to mention they close the pool and hot tub area pretty early. Additionally, chairs and umbrellas are an extra charfe due to city vendor; however, we stayed at another nearby resort where the resort actually takes care of that fee...for what is charged this resort they could have done the same.
This hotels pics even on their own web site are definitely dated, with hotel older and not as in good as shape as presented. Very disappointed with the condition, amenities, and all the extra fees! Location was very good! Won't be staying here again.

We immediately noticed a smell in the room when we walked through the door. We did let the front desk know, they said they would do extra cleaning. We realized on day 2 it was coming from the drain in shower. We were disappointed with the up keep of the room for a Marriot. We expected more. The balcony was small and needs cleaning!!! The location was good and breakfast served at restaurant was good. Just expected the property to be a little more maintained as it is a Marriot.

Staff amazing! We arrived after a cruise hoping to leave our bags at front deck til check in. Clerk said your rooms ready you may check in. I’m a Hilton Honors customer and no one has ever let me check in early! I’m so impressed with this hotel from the front desk to the pool attendants I would never stay anywhere else well visiting Fort Lauderdale Area. Located on the Boardwalk shopping and great restaurants all in walking distance. Beautiful Property!

Amenities are the only thing nice about this hotel. The staff was a mixed bag. Some where nice others were borderline disrespectful. I should of been refunded my first night from the cockroach i found in my bathroom and they moved me to a much better room with no issues. I had no hot water for a day and they didnt give me any wristbands when i checked in. I didnt let this ruin my trip and i wouldbt of wrote a bad review if they had refunded my money for my first night that i had to move out of at 2 in the morning from a bug problem.

My only complaint was that the balcony was unusable for most of the day due to being in full sunlight for most of the day. Maybe this would be nice in winter, but it was entirely too hot to sit out there. If you are going to get a partial OV balcony, request one on the north side of the building to avoid the full sun all day!

They are explaining nothing!! Yoo need to ask if you want to know. Even they didn’t tell us that the parking was not included in the room.

We stay in Hollywood Beach a couple of times a year, and after 30 years and a dozen hotels, this is our current favorite on the Broadwalk. She isn’t the youngest or fanciest girl on the beach, but she is the nicest and most consistent. Everyone there goes out of the way to make you welcome. We have had the best corner room with a view of the ocean and the worst room with a view of the kitchen vents (50% less) but slept comfortably either way.

The entire staff was very friendly. Starting with Sharron at the front desk who checked us in. She was very welcoming. The Tiki bar was right outside the hotel. They offered drinks all day and good breakfast and lunch options to enjoy by the pool. They keep the pool clean as well as the deck. I watched them work hard to clean the pool and deck at night.

I went in and was told that my expedia reservation wasn't accepted to then later find out it was. I had to recieve a refund, however, the room itself was very nice and clean. The overall hotel was also very nice however, in order to get to the pool you need to either go around the hotel or go through the resturant which I didn't appreciate either.

The property’s very clean and have direct access to the beach. We were debating on renting a car but uber is the way to go. Broadwalk is very walkable to get to the hustle and bustle but it’s nice to be at the quiet end of the broadwalk. Definetly recommend. The staff is very friendly and courteous!
