My husband and I were looking for a place that was right on or within steps from the beach. The St. Maurice delivered. The staff was extremely friendly and very accommodating. So for location and service, a 5 star. As for the room, it was clean and had the basics, however if they would put a little money into some small upgrades, it would greatly improve the property. Some things we encountered in our King room with a kitchenette were small curtains that did not actually cover the windows, old dirty looking tile floors, a bathroom door that would not stay shut and could not lock, and a cheap little white shelf/drawer unit that was falling apart (the kind made of particleboard that comes in a box). The bathrooms also come with one ply toilet paper, which I know is cost-effective for them, but there are some cheap 2-plies out there that provide a better quality toilet paper. The kitchenette we had looked pretty new, so no complaints there. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean.
While they do not supply a hairdryer in the rooms, you can ask for one for the duration of your stay. They provided nice beach towels that we signed in and out each day. They also have beach chairs that you can sign in and out. As far as those go, again, I think if they would just go buy 20 or 30 nice ones that match, it would be appreciated by their guests.
All in all, it was a good experience and I would stay there again.

This place is a hidden gem! It’s a basic motel room, not very modern or anything, but meets all the needs. Location is great, staff is great.

The room was dirty, the lamp shade next to the bed was stained. The bathroom was from the 1950's. The shower had mold and abandoned shower valves sticking out of the wall. The toilet sat so close to wall your knees hit the wall when using it! Overall the place is very old and dated. The TV was a small 24 inch mounted on the wall where a 65 inch could of fit easily. The only thing good about the place was the location, one block off the beach. The beach chairs they provided where old beat up camping chairs not suitable for the beach. Would not recommend or repeat as a guest.

The only drawback is that there is no parking. You have to park at a parkade 5 min down the road. Not a big deal, but something to be aware of.

I will definitely stay here again if I come to Hollywood Beach. You walk right out the door and it steps to the walkway and the beach and in two minutes I was over at the Hollywood Beach band Shell watching a live concert on the beach. It was amazing. Marriott so don’t expect to get the Marriott….. this hotel offers zero parking. You either have to stay at Margaritaville’s parking garage or find a place on the street and Pay city overnight parking. If you move your vehicle you’ll have to repay. If you’re on a motorcycle park like a pirate that’s how I do.

This location is exactly as reviews and they describe, steps from the beach. It has very easy access to restaurants and miles of ocean. The check-in was easy. The room is small, but cute and cozy. The bathroom is very small, but was clean and fine. It's a reasonable option for crashing near the shore for a day or two without paying the high priced resort costs. We decided to park in the garage at Margaritaville and after about 30 hours there it was $78. So if not super crowded, I'd recommend the option for the street permit parking which would have cost maybe about half that.

Private lots charge crazy rates and the city street parking is not great. If you get a ticket you cannot get another 24 parking pass online, its blocks you out. Parking garage 5 blocks away is your best bet.

Location is great, picked it because of proximity to Le Tub Room was dated but smelled and looked clean. AC did not stay on, but it was only for one night before going to the port for a cruise, so it worked. Bed was comfortable.
