We paid extra to have a specific suite style room for two nights in April 2026 I booked the reservation in January. We arrived at the property and checked in it was not the room that I had booked online, the layout was very different and it was much more worn out, dark, and dingy than the pictures online. Weird bathroom and no kitchenette/sink. I went to the front desk to show them my reservation and was told that the pictures are just examples of the rooms and not the exact rooms. I asked specifically to be moved to the room that we had booked and we were told that they were sold out for the night and we could check back in the morning to see if that room was available. We had just traveled for 8 hours and were on our way to a concert. We stayed in the room for the night and went back to the front desk in the morning and were told that the room we had booked would be available for the 2nd night, but we would need to check out of our first room by 11 and would not be able to get into the other room until 3. Well, I understand it was not the staffs error, I never once received an apology, but more of just explanation of the situation. We chose to just eat the cost and booked a different hotel room for our last night in Fort Lauderdale rather than deal with the hassle at this resort. I have since looked at all their pictures posted online and not one of them shows the room that we were given. Cleanliness was unacceptable, lots of dust on most surfaces.

The staff were wonderful….location was perfect. The buildings are old and liveable but there was so much light coming in thru the blinds it was difficult to sleep. Had no hot water in the shower and, when we told the front desk she asked what room. She said there was a certain spot on the lever to get hot water not in the red section.

Bathroom tiny and shower splashed all over the floor. Needed a towel to sop it up when you stepped out.
It was a solid half glass door
Really ridiculously designed
The Bed had a long hair that didn’t belong to me so I asked for a new set of sheets.
I was told it would be done by 4pm yet I returned at 8 pm. And they weren’t changed.
I had to go and address it to find house keeping had gone home for the night.
Leaving me to change my sheets.
Communication is the key and there was a lack.
The front desk was extremely apologetic
And extremely nice.
Unfortunately it was a big mess back and forth several times because there is no phone to even call a front desk

Stayed one night at Hollywood Beach Suites and had a great experience. The staff was very attentive and especially helpful with parking, which made arrival stress-free. I appreciated the complimentary water and coffee in the lobby, a nice touch. The room was comfortable, clean, and perfectly cool after a day out. I also loved the small balcony area for a little fresh air. Being within walking distance to the beach and boardwalk was a huge plus. I would definitely stay here again!

The only downside to the rooms were the lack of storage, multiple outlets not working and such a small mini fridge. As a family of 5 traveling, these things would have been beneficial to our stay. Other than that, staff was friendly. We were also close to the beach.

I would stay here again. They had kids beach toys, balls, chairs, even umbrella for beach. Rooms were clean. Floors were sticky but we wore sandles eventually. Fresh water all day on reception area and beach towels.Happy hour free drink everyday day was a plus. Parking was expensive but to be expected.... It's an app to pay by hour or day. I didn't find it an issue the two nights we stayed for parking. The bedroom was a little small but it worked. The bunk bed and pull out bed could use better linen as well but overall it worked out.

Everything was honestly wonderful. So close to the beach and they provide beach towels and chairs. The front desk people were so kind and accommodating, plus the cat that hangs out is adorable. I ended up having a little fall and they checked in and gave us a bunch of ice packs to make sure I was good. The taco restaurant next door is also wonderful. You get 20% off your bill if you’re a guest at the hotel and the food was the best we had our entire trip. We would 100% come back!

If you're looking for a place to sleep, then you want to stay here. Walk is about 2 minutes to the beach. Good location to several bars and restaurants.

The restaurant/ was warm welcoming, staff was awesome. The beach and boardwalk were literally less than a block away
The room was small, did not have closet or dresser. Amenities in the room came with cost. No brochures for other places to visit.
They offered free beach chairs and towel, but we brought our on.
All in all, still very pleasant.

I had such a wonderful time during my stay here! This was my first solo trip without my husband and I felt safe, comfortable and in the center of everything. The patio attached to my suite was an unexpected plus! I was place in the condo closest to the beach which was exactly the reason I came! I had an amazing time and the staff at the Taco restaurant is my family now!

Great stay! Definitely some down sides, room was dirty when we arrived, bathroom got extremely wet, and compared to our friends room, our room needed some fixing. This did not take away from the hotel though. The proximity to the beach and the amenities this hotel offers are unbeatable. Beach chairs for free, free drink at taco shack (so good), and a literal one second walk to the beach. Cannot beat this place.

The kitchen (we got a standard queen room) had a very large kitchen. There was no sink/microwave at least in the kitchen in our room, but it had a whole dining room. The room was very spacious. The only downside about the entire stay was that when we check in our room was dirty, but it was cleaned the next day and cleaned everyday after that. Also the bathroom floor gets extremely wet. There was somewhere and tear but the amenities/ proximity to the beach totally cancel it out. Perfect for our stay and I will definitely be back. Even though bathroom was wet front desk was more than helpful in giving towels.

It was a small room and bathroom, but it was clean and centrally located. Many restaurants nearby, steps from the broadwalk and beach. They did provide free coffee in the lobby, but I wish there would have been a coffee machine in the room. There was a small sink area, with a small microwave, and a small refrigerator, but there were no utensils, dishwashing soap, or a garbage can. (Only the one in the bathroom). All in all, it was a nice little room good for the days we spent at the beach.

We had 6 people and sleeping arrangements were a little small/cramped but the bathroom had 2 showers and a bathroom stall and was big. The staff were amazing, even helped us carry our luggage up the 2 flights of stairs. We would stay here again if the opportunity came about again.

It was a great little hotel, clean room and a great staff in the front to greet you. They have people at the front desk even at 1 am in the morning so if you get locked out of you room you can still get help.

Rooms where clean, and area are clean and are very well kept. The hotel is quiet and they keep the peace, so if you are there to party, think about going somewhere else. I appreciated that there was no noise after hours made by other guests even though I was there during spring break season.

I will start by saying the staff was very friendly and helpful and even accommodated an early check-in, which I appreciated. However, everything went downhill from there. I'm honestly not sure how this hotel has so many good reviews. We must have gotten the worst room they offer because our experience was very disappointing and uncomfortable. For starters, the room floor was dirty and full of sand, so we had to wear shoes while walking around. The bed sheets felt damp, like they hadn’t been fully dried or possibly due to the humidity, and they were really scratchy. While lying down, we felt itchy as if something was crawling on us. We checked the sheets and found sand in the bed and brushed it away, but it was so uncomfortable we couldn’t relax. Also, the bathroom was absolutely disgusting, with caked-up residue around the base of the toilet where the bolt should have been. There was also a nauseating smell throughout the room that never went away. To make matters worse, the restaurant connected to the hotel played music so loud we couldn’t rest. We also heard a soft knocking sound every few minutes, which was unsettling. Considering the door did not have a deadbolt, the knocking made us feel unsafe. After a couple of hours, we called the front desk to switch rooms, mostly due to the noise, but were told they were fully booked so we'd have to wait until the next day. There was no way we would make it through the night, so we left and booked another hotel. Never again!

Great location and the attached restaurant was good- stayed open late which was nice for our late arrival flight. The room had a window air conditioner that worked fairly well. The TV did not get any standard channels that rooms generally have, and while this would normally not be a big deal, March Madness was happening and we were not able to watch any games in our room- if you like to watch TV before bed there are little to no channels available. But- they have beach towels and chairs for use and staff was very accommodating and friendly! We would stay here again

This small updated motel is colorful, charming and steps from the beach and attractions. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, including Cheetah, the friendly cat that lives there. Rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a fun taco shack around the corner - you get a complimentary drink each day between 5-6 with a hotel key in addition to 20% off your entire order. Just steps away from the boardwalk, ocean, restaurants, bars. They also offer complimentary towels and chairs to take to the beach. If you're looking for a simpler stay in a charming renovated old-school Florida motel, this is perfect. Would definitely stay again.

No hot water in the shower. Remote control was sticky, I had to wash my hands everytime I touched it. Cable tv was archaic, they could probably switch to wifi to save money. Parking was expensive because you have to pay to park 24/7, cost me about 25.00 per day. On the brightside, location is very convenient to the beach. The restaurant across the street was amazing. If the primary focus is walking no more than 3 min to Hollywood beach and you can overlook these issues then book this place

Total Florida vibes! This place was awesome and stayed for two nights before hitting up our cruise out of Miami! Right on the beach and close to all kinds of shops and restauraunts.
Room is not exactly as I envisioned based on the photos - but if a hostel feel but it didn’t matter as we weren’t there for the room! Felt safe and there was a balcony right near our room!

Unexpected gem 1/2 block from the Broadwalk/beach. Small room, very clean and useful. Plenty of beach towels and selection of beach chairs each morning. Small fridge was perfect to store beverages and leftovers. Microwave and TV channel selections could use an upgrade. Staff was polite and accommodating from the time we checked in. Jesus was exceptional. Affiliated with the Taco Beach Bar just steps away. 20% off entire order and one free drink ( margarita) per person per day. Great food and drinks. Highly recommend. Billy’s Crab house right across the street for 5 star dining. Awesome stone crabs, elegant and pricey. Parking is 30$ a day. Come prepared. Will be back next year for another week.

The staff was great but the room looked nothing like the pictures shown in the advertisement. The pictures must be very old. We were not aware that the parking was $30 per night and that our room was on the 3rd floor with no elevator. I'm having knee surgery next month so it made a difference.

I was very happy checking into this quirky and adorable place! It is not a big million dollar hotel… but that’s what made it great!
The people were incredible. They were able to get us checked in a little early and there is wonderful outdoor space, its steps to the beach, and a fabulous taco restaurant next door.
I would absolutely book another stay here. This was unfortunately a quick stay, but we want to go back!

We loved this hotel for the clean room and it’s proximity to the beach! The discount at their restaurant and the complimentary drink they offered with our stay, was amazing!
We were a little disappointed that the TV didn’t work all the time, and that there wasn’t a pool, but over all we really liked it and would definitely stay again.

We would stay here again. Loved the boutique style, colorful decor. The location is perfect -walking distance to everything- the broadwalk, restaurants, shops, multiple restaurants and the beach. The room was clean but could use more attention to detail with cleanliness. No luggage stands or hooks available in the room and no coffee maker in the room unless you ask for one yet they do not provide the coffee for the coffee maker. Complimentary coffee is available in the lobby/office.
