This place needs major renovations! The only good thing is the beach access! Seems like there’s residents that live here, they have their clothes hanging outside. The bathroom is 1x1 tiny tiny! Smells dirty and looks dirty! My Clorox wipes didn’t help! The guy at the front desk was like a scam artist! Never again and I wouldn’t recommend this place you will be better off at a motel!

Although this is not a 5 star hotel, it certainly fit my needs for 1 night. I found the grounds and room to be charming. I love the Tiki Bar vibe. If you’re planning a week long stay, I would recommend this hotel as it has a small highly functional kitchentte with pots, pans, silverware, glasses, mugs, stove, microwave, and refrigerator! The location was perfect just a few feet from the beach. This hotel gave me an authentic beach bum vibe. I would definitely stay here again.

Air conditioner works well and temperature was comfortable. Large closet with iron and ironing board. Could here the neighbors banging. Tiki bar amazing with nice lounge area and live entertainment. Perfect location and within steps to boardwalk. Have stayed numerous times and would stay again.

Nice close proximity to the beach. Loud outdoors, but slightly loud fan made it more quiet. We liked the outdoor bar at the hotel, the live music on the evening. The only negative was that the office was not open during the hours stated. We got there in the evening and it was locked with no instructions when the sign said it was supposed to be open.

The building is very old and it needs a lot of work to get it looking good. Same with the room. Also the shower was very small so a big person would not be able to get in

There was no hot water. We only stayed one night and we left at 5:30am so I couldn’t wait for someone to come look at it. We took cold showers. When I called to complain, I was told “thanks for letting me know” not I’m sorry, not a partial refund to compensate for the inconvenience not even an apology- I do not recommend this place at all.

It literally was ok, there are loose screws holding the bathroom doorknob on. The window blind is broken, the skillet is scratched teflon, there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom, The ceiling fan is wired incorrectly, ties into the light dimmer, even though it has it's own control. The grounds and the sidewalks need a leaf blower used on them.Its so close to the ocean and the price is right.
I am a facilites manager / glorified custodian, with a few basics tools and a trip to the hardware store I would have this place awesome condition. It appears that no one fixes anything there. I'll stay again, but next time I'll bring some tools.

Terrible…smelly, tired, bathroom light didn’t work, broken stove in room, blinding LEDs, TV with about 4 stations that went in and out….this is not a ‘resort’ more like a 2 star motel. We reserved for 2 nights. Got in late the night of check-in so had to stay there that night, checked out as soon as I could the next day, couldn’t bear it another night.

Best location! Great for a party weekend. If you want quiet/relaxing stay…don’t stay here. Incredibly loud from beach contests-picture of megaphones with huge speakers waking you up at 8:30 AM. The band and or DJ starts early and ends very late. It was nicely updated and mostly clean. Floors could use a little love. Just walking from bathroom to bed makes your feet black. Check-in was a breeze. Staff was very friendly. Again, the location is amazing because it’s right on the beach. I would stay there again. I had earplugs so had little difficulty sleeping.

Having the tiki bar onsite was fantastic. The staff were very kind and helpful. Room was clean but the bleach smell was almost overwhelming. Door to the room was off a side street with people coming and going all night, which made us slightly uncomfortable and didn't feel particularly secure. The crowds on the broadwalk are definitely a mixed bag, and it was not uncommon to come out of our room and have random people sitting at the picnic table. Literally anyone can waltz onto the property. All in all the stay was fine.

I booked the Exclusive Suite because i wanted something larger than usual, that would give my friend & I plenty of space without being on top of each other, or going over my budget. Room 217 will forever be the room i want on my next stay! Its right up the stairs from their Tiki Bar. I was expecting a balony - completely blown away by a full-sized patio that overlooks Surf Road (awesome for people-watching).

As to staff - there was a minor lightbulb issue when we first got in the room. Called front desk, it was resolved within 45 minutes. The Tiki bartenders were so, so cool to be around. Big shout-out to Pedro, Cristina, and Bruna !!
There were a couple drawbacks I noticed. Biggest one was beach towels. I'd actually called ahead to check if it's best best to bring my own (coming from Tampa to H'wood)
I booked the Exclusive Suite because i wanted something larger than usual, that would give my friend & I plenty of space without being on top of each other, or going over my budget. Room 217 will forever be the room i want on my next stay! Its right up the stairs from their Tiki Bar. I was expecting a balony - completely blown away by a full-sized patio that overlooks Surf Road (awesome for people-watching).

The ac in our room didn’t work, the maintenance man Adrian was rude, on the way to the room, he stopped to flirt with a cleaning lady for 5 minutes then when he entered our room stayed on his phone talking to a friend for 10 minutes completely ignoring me and did nothing.
