This was the 4th time I have stayed at Hollywood Boutique Hotel. It is clean but could use some updating. It is in a great location to the beach, restaurants and night life. If you’re looking for a quick getaway, this is the area to stay in. Really do not need a car - just uber from Ft.Lauderdale. There are plenty of stores in the area to pick up essentials. I will visit again !

Checkin was easy, staff very nice. Rate reasonable. Beach chairs to use free of charge was nice. We stayed in 2 units before and after a cruise. We arrived very early and could leave our luggage there at no charge and were called when our room was ready, a bit earlier than the normal check-in. Location is great, beach just a short walk. Full fridge, stove and microwave is nice although we didn't stay long enough to utilize.
Cons:
A bit outdated with few amenities. If you're accustomed to a modern hotel it's probably not for you. If you prefer a good view look for something else at much greater expense. Dishes, silverware not complete. May be hard to have a full meal if you want to skip eating out

If you only want a place to hang your hat it would work just fine.

We got into town and our GPS took us to Ocean Blvd which was great but because the motel doesn’t have a sign that you can see from the road we couldn’t find it. I called the motel and asked for a Landmark the lady had no clue and ran me in circles instead of just telling me. It’s hidden behind another building. We wanted to get ice for our drinks and never found an ice machine.

Parking right by the door. I didn't get a room I got an entire apartment for the price. It can't get closer to the beach or your bed will be in the ocean. I stay in the hotel again

Had a great experience. Only thing that didn’t meet expectations was the trundle bed. It could use updated mattresses. Parking was not included and added extra charge of 12.00. I would suggest adding this to room charge for easier check in. Great food and location.

The room was okay. It was biggwr than expected and the price was great. I booked the room for 2 and we ended up with a third person coming so I called and was told for $15 they would put a extra bed in the room which they did. The beds weren't really comfy though. Parking was another $12. Which I parked in their lot and walked straight to the office to check in and she acted like I would be towed for parking there before I could get back to put the tag in the window. I wasn't thankfully. It was super close to the beach which I liked but the music was loud and you could hear people talking in the next room at 3 am.

This is an old facility. The staff were great. The location is awesome as it is less than one block from the beach on a quiet one way street. The mattress was uncomfortable and the room was small. The staff offered beach chairs and towels while we waited for our room to be cleaned. The location and the price over-ride any concern about age, size and comfort.

Overall it was great. Friendly and helpful staff. I stayed in 2 different rooms. Overall the first was fine for a night. I stayed in another room a few more nights and the wifi was spotty, but it was likely the furthest room from the wireless antenna.

Other than that, no complaints.

I thought the location was nice however the place was a bit run down. The cleanliness of the place was not very good. The coffee maker had rust on it and the toilet seat was dirty. No amenities such as breakfast. Parking was limited. I got in later so i got a parking ticket because i wasn't aware of where to park. I had a late arrival. They did include a map of spots with my check-in but it was late and nobody was at the office to warn me. Overall a nice place but there is better. Walking to the beach was nice.

This property is really close to the beach, which was a big plus. The place itself is old and needs repairs, but it was clean. I also like the fact that it has a kitchen with a microwave, refrigerator, and stove in case I wanted to cook. Lots of places to eat nearby that were walkable distance. Great stay for the price

Easy access to the beach and broadwalk.

They had beach chairs and towels available for our use.

The room had basic kitchen items like a frying pan, silverware, and a tea kettle.

The stovetop was useful.

The room could have benefitted from some hooks to hang things up like towels/washrags however that is minor. There were minor maintenance things that would enhance the rooms conditions.

Overall, the staff was great and very helpful.

We only had one snafu and that was when we arrived, we were early. They didn't have our room ready and said they would call us when it was ready. I never received a call so when we made it back and inquired, they said it was ready and that they tried to call. No missed calls. No big deal though.

We were in room 53 which had a nice balcony area, large sitting room, kitchen/dining room and then the bathroom and the bedroom. Was very spacious and worth the wait.

I would recommend this facility if you wanted easy access to the beach and the broadwalk.

This is a great little place. Nothing fancy but it's close to the beach, the boardwalk and some great seafood restaurants. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a small kitchenette. The front desk was always helpful and they did provide beach towels which was nice. The pool is super small so I wouldn't recommend this property if you're looking to hang at a pool. My only negative (really a suggestion for the property owner) was the bed wasn't super comfortable and the bathroom had a pedestal sink so a counter or shelf of some kind would have been helpful for toiletries. (And the bathroom was huge so there's plenty of space!)

So there was no information on where to park so upfront checking in I parked across the street and I got an $85 parking ticket the room and everything was less than superior. I won’t stay there again. The furniture was all scratched. The bed broke on the second day the pullout couch they came in and repaired, and they actually used some knife that I brought to cut fruit for my daughter. The picture say one thing when you get in there is so different there’s one AC unit and one bedroom could barely pull out any AC and I was in March, which is temperature wise not hot. I can’t even begin to imagine being there during the summer you could tell they’re trying to do improvement on it, but the fact that they don’t inform you when you’re checking in where to park and the fact that the furniture was so rundown, I will definitely not stay there again.

I am a solo female traveler, middle class, late 40s, with experiences ranging from rustic tent camping in the woods to luxury all inclusives. I stayed here for 2 nights in a unit beside the pool and main office. Overall, the unit and property met my expectations. As an older budget hotel, you get what you pay for.

The room was clean and pest-free, but with many signs of aging. The shower, toilet, both sinks, insides of refrigerator and microwave, and surfaces were spotless. However, caulking and grout has deteriorated, hard to reach corners had buildup, there were paint imperfections, and metallic surfaces had rust spots. Furnishings are in good condition and modern. The mattress firmness was mid range, the bedding was clean, but the sheets were rough. The white noise created by the AC was able to drown out sounds from the unit above and heavy traffic so I could get a good night of rest.

The property has many covered areas to get outside during a rain storm or to escape the sun. Pool area was clean. My only complaint is the entire walkway in front of the pool and office was flooded with a 3-4” pool of standing water for several hours following a rainstorm. Since the rest of the walkways on the property had dried up and were accessable, this is an obvious problem that should be addressed.

The beach, boardwalk, shops, and restaurants are a short walk away. I would come back again for a quick beach day or local event, but I would not stay longer than one or two nights.

It's nice,calm but very basic.
You get what you pay for.
Staff is great,you can get beach chairs and towels. They even have some kids toys.
The kitchen has very limited dishes/pots/pans and utensils but we managed.
The pool is little and just by the road so not very pleasant but it's clean.

Other than constant rain we didn't have any issues:-)

While this property had a great location and spacious rooms, ours came with a little friend. The cleanliness of the property was questionable. We came back from our breakfast to find a cockroach climbing on our wall. We immediately called the front desk to request a room change and the person at the front desk sighed and sounded annoyed with our request to change rooms. They never once apologized for our experience or offered any sort of empathy. We even took a picture of the cockroach. We were able to change our room and the new room looked and smelled cleaner than our original. We were pleased with the pool amenity and the walkable distance to the beach and restaurants. For a two star hotel it was nice overall aside from the cockroach situation.

Our room was dirty, and we had cockroaches and termites, I do have pictures! We did move in the pouring rain to another room. During our stay, the cleaning staff did not change our bed sheets. The pool was very small, and they use recirculated water. Did not smell any chlorine/chemicals, and the water was freezing. Property needs updated very bad. But see the bugs I was disgusted.

The only complaint was the slow internet. Was nearly impossible to watch a movie on netflix. But all the good...the pool was a nice relaxing spot to wait for room to be ready! Love that they have luggage hold and a water dispenser in their lobby! Providing beach chairs and towels is so helpful! The location is very convenient! I have stayed here a few times before and will continue to book rooms with them!

Recently stayed at this property. I liked that it was near the beach on one side and intercoastal on the other, and convenient cheap parking. BUT, the racket and partying nearby went until 1am making it hard to rest, room condition quite poor, though bed was clean. The fridge was so noisy too. I guess that’s all why it was so affordable to stay there.

Absolutely no complaints.
The staff were amazing, very friendly and very helpful. Checking in was smooth. We arrived in the morning. They let us leave our luggage with them and called us to let us now it was ready an hour earlier than expected.
We were there for 6 nights and stayed in one of the suites which I would recommend for long stays (shorter stays you might consider the regular rooms and save). The extra room made it feel homey. We grabbed some groceries and settled in.
Although a bit dated, the room was very clean. No views of anything looking out the windows which was fine, but the location makes up for it. We were litterally one minute walk to the beach.
Overall, great value for the money. No need to over pay at some of the other places. We will definitely stay here again if we decide to visit in the future.

The bedding had to be changed because it wasn’t clean. The refrigerator made an annoying sound all night. I think the motor was dying. They responded right away to change the bedding, but nothing could be done about the refrigerator. The A/C fan somewhat drowned out the sound. The location is great. Not far from the Cruise Port.
