Extremely poor service. Staff negligence in failing to collect our luggage caused us to miss our flight. The hotel refused to take responsibility and offered no help, leaving us stranded and out of pocket. Completely unacceptable for a hotel of this standard. No support no amd no refund given! very disappointing.

Stayed at Sherwood Exclusive Lara Resort recently and overall, it was an average experience, nothing exceptional, especially compared to other resorts in the Lara area.
The property itself feels quite dated. While the location is good, the building and rooms definitely need an upgrade. One of the main issues we faced was the air conditioning in our room, it wasn’t working properly. Despite requesting it to be fixed, no technician ever showed up during our stay. The room would get quite hot, especially in the mornings and sometimes at night, and we had to keep the windows open just to get some airflow.
Service was mixed. The general service staff (restaurant, housekeeping, etc.) were actually very helpful and polite, which we appreciated. However, the front desk staff had a noticeable attitude and were not very accommodating, which affected the overall experience.
Another major inconvenience was their strict no-cash policy. They do not accept cash at all, which can put you in a difficult situation if your card is lost or not working, something to seriously consider before staying here.
Overall, it’s not a terrible place, but compared to other resorts nearby, it falls short in terms of service, maintenance, and flexibility. With a few improvements, it could be much better, but for now, there are definitely stronger options in the same area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the jacuzzi room and the sea view was spectacular. The resort is definitely exclusive and has lot’s of activities and really good entertainment on site. The entertainment team Ikra, Rabiya & David all really good and kept us involved with all the activities. The beach is on site and takes literally few minutes from your room to the beach. The food was great at all times brekkie, lunch & dinner. The restaurant on the beach is really good and serves fresh food, my husband had the chicken & lentil soup very delicious and popular. We would definitely return again. Thank you.

It’s a beautiful property, I had the best room with the best view. Everything was clean. The Staff was polite. The drinks and the food were unlimited and of excellent quality. The pools were clean. The beach was easily accessible.
My only complaint was that my bedroom was too hot as I understand it was winter and they probably had a setting of keeping the heating on 24x7, but apart from that everything was top-notch.

Rip you off with the taxi service and local taxi drivers again rip you off and at war with uber drivers. You will see them chasing them out the area. I’d avoid all the hotels here and just stay in Antyala. Disgrace they get away with ripping you off cause you’re British.

Room was clean and a great view of all the area and beach from our room. plenty of water and cold drinks in the fridge, there bed was queen size and comfortable, there was towels on robes for us to use on the beach, there was 2 hot water pools, and a jacuzzi indoor also, the massage people were good and my wife had a pedicure also,
We was on the 8th floor and had to wait for the lifts once or twice, so when it’s busy there you need to bear that in mind.
The food in the restaurant was very good, but towards the end it became a little repetitive.

We are 2 parents and a child. We had a lot of fun. The whole facility was well looked after and most of the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

There was a heated pool that was a fun shape
When it got cold out, we used the indoor pool. The cafes and bars where everywhere. The buffet was great. I mostly filled my plate from the carver and the grill.

The gym was 24 hour, it needs a bit of repairs but honestly it was still great to use.

The room was spacious and well kept. When booking there was achoice of partial sea view or sea view. I paid extra for sea view but 50% of my view was the other building, on the other side of the pool, so i wasnt happy with that but it didn't spoil my trip. It wasn't a big deal as we spent little time in the room. There also wasnt a tissue box in the room, this was odd.

There were so many facilities that we were still discovering things on day 6. It would make more sense to give us a welcome pack to explain everything. It could even just be a QR code in the room.

5 stars as i would be happy to come again or recommend it.

The service was great, but the rooms were a little small. I requested a room change at the front desk, but they didn’t follow up with me. I was sure there were plenty of vacant rooms available to replace it, but they ignored my request. Overall, based on my experience, this hotel deserves 4.5 stars. Guest relations staff and restaurant staffs were amazing. Reception staffs so slow and doesn't do it unless you ask/remind them 3-4 times. Food was great!

However the whole property needs to be renovated and cleaned properly! Some areas (level -1) smelled!

The hot tub was 25 degrees instead of 30 degrees, the front door of the indoor pool was left wide open which made the indoor pool and the room cold, this causes for the baby to cough and shivering, some of personal from the front desk and the guest relations they don't respond or listen when you complain about the issue in the hotels. ( no respect ) finally, i believe sherwood hotel was worse then last year. They need to pay more attention . So guest can come back.

This hotel is definitely not 5 star.
Great selection of food, however it was almost always the same. I paid extra for sea view room, got a room on the 9th floor, did not even get nice view bcs of the way balcony are built. all i was looking at is the building structures. the side of the building was supposedly new however my room ceiling must have a leak because the ceiling has spots and wasn't even painted. resort area is huge, entertainment was great. 6 pools if im not mistaken.
building ia ran down, elevators are too slow this builidng needs escalators, at the time we would good 7 minutes to go up or down. elevator mirrors are broken. when i asked if i can get a shuttle to take us back to airport we were told that service doesn't exist in any antalya airports so we had to pay 1300 tl to go to airport. distance is about 15 min away. if you are not a drinker i would not recomment this place, because all you paying for is alcohol.

Everything is brilliant about this resort. Amazing food and staff. A couple of issues I faced:
1) I took the family room as it suited best for family of 4. It has 2 rooms and a balcony. It get a bit noisy around at night, may be the insulation isnt enough ?
2) Altho, you will find Uber in Antalya, but they dont come to the vicinity of the resorts. So if you need to go out shopping to the city, the hotel travel desk is the only option, and they are rip off.
Apart from the above, it is a fab choice. Food 24hrs service with all types of drinks - unljmited.

In general was OK !!
Madam Zehra at front desk was kind and accomedate all my friends and families at the new building wich was making you feel not the same hotel !!!
the dinner options were as before with no wide of variety!!
Lobby area was great with the lobby bar waitress Guller !! she was so kind and smily all the time !!
The young guest relation man Berkant was so helpfull !!

Had my honeymoon here which had its pros and cons:

Pros:
- Great pools and water park
- Lovely private beach
- Scenic areas for pictures
- Lovely flowers, plants etc.

Cons:
- Poor food options even though theres a buffet (lack of flavours)
- Clear language barrier with the staff
- Terrible lighting in the room

The stay was good, decent sized room, amazing view but thats about it. The room had horrible yellow lights and we could barely see when night time.

There was also a huge language barrier with a lot of the staff where the majority of then struggled to speak English. But they were all very friendly.

Lastly the food was awful, we had an all inclusive package but honestly felt as if it was a waste of money. The buffet food practically all tasted the same. Just felt like it was flavourless and had no spice at all althought they did have an area with spices to add yourself. You'd think think that since youre in Turkey you'd be getting turkish food i.e. kebabs and donner etc.

But to give the resort some praise, it was located in an amazing area, the view was incredible as well as having a great waterpark and set of pools.

To conclude I'd reccomend staying here but dont expect much from the food and maybe learn some turkish or hand signlas to communicate might be your best ally. P.s. bring a torch for the room

SEL is magnificent hotel, with lots of amenities such as swimming pools, jacuzzi., sauna, gym and steam room. My wife and I had a room on the south facing that overlooks the garden and the sea. The garden theme was close to that of Sherwood Forest. All the team members - entertainment, catering, receptionist - were very friendly and helpful. We were surprised to be presented with a bottle of champagne, fruits and snacks on my wife's birthday. We loved it and would visit again.

This hotel is located in a good area, nearby has some shopping area and pharmacy, very close to the airport. one problem the hotel has is the air conditioning and heating system, they use an old central system which means when the hotel turns the system to heat there is no A/C in the room or outside. so if you feel hot there is not much they can do for you!

This is not a five-star resort.

Not sure what scale they’re using to rate this hotel, however, it is definitely not a five-star hotel. 3 1/2 stars at most. The splash pads, swimming pools, and beach were great. The kids were very entertained. Everything else in the hotel was just OK. The posting claims it is a non-smoking hotel, people are smoking everywhere. You cannot open your balcony door because somebody else on a balcony is smoking and your room will stink like cigarettes. The posting also claims to be all inclusive. It is definitely not all inclusive. The posting says one dinner at the à la cart Restaurant is included, that is not the case, it is an extra charge. Also did not appreciate trying to be scammed by the resorts photographer-was told there’s no charge for the photo session, the cost was seven euros per photo you selected. He failed to say that the photos were seven dollars after you paid €150 for the package. We made the best of this trip, however, I would not return to this resort, and I would not recommend it to somebody else.

I am not sure how this was a 5 star hotel. We paid like $450 for a night and the quality of the room we had was not better than a 3 star hotel. Very old furniture (the coach on our room was broken). Our room had a bad smell. The quality of food was very poor (bananas were all black in color and very bad in taste) we couldn’t even eat fruits there. We only enjoyed the pool and the rest of our experience was very very unpleasant.

Обслуживание прекрасное. Комнату - дали на 5-м этаже с видом на бассейны и море. Номер примерно 315 футов - 30 м2, кажется тесноватым, но привыкнуть можно. Все пять бассейнов не опробовал - море потеплело, пляж песчанный, коктэйли рядом и нет шума. WiFi без проблем.

Only thing I would say is most outdoor pools are still cool in April and if you wish to swim outdoors to should go after May time. But they have a large i Dottie heated poool which was great and heated.

Our check in was easy with friendly reception the room we received was larger then I expected all hotel personnel were always friendly to us we checked in during off season time I was pleased to see the following still operating
The inside and outside pools are nice both around 28 or 29 the whirlpool is 31 and their is also a cool pool along with large sauna, steam room and hamman the hotel 3 bars offered a good selection of imported alcohol including bottled beer
The main buffet restaurant does serve you and the food was ok for first two days then on Sunday it was very good for our last 3 days Their is also a small restaurant that is open whenever the buffet restaurant was closed it is down the hall from the bar on the main level that serves good burgers pasta fish fingers chicken kabobs soup
We also enjoyed 2 dinner meals at the alacart hotel restaurant during Turkish night and Italian night they also offer a Mongolia night

Had a lovely stay with friendly staff. Although reception staff could look happier as first impression wasn’t good. Holiday greatly improved by friendly restaurant and bar staff.

I had AC in a room that did not work properly and I had a lot of dirt in a given room and hotel worker told me it is what it is, you dont like - find something else you not gonna get money back. So I left not even spent one night.
And they did not have any restrictions on masks in elevator or on number of people there like in other hotels.
