A bit of a let down!

On first impression hotel looked nice, it slowly went down hill from there on in. Cleanliness of the rooms was poor with peanuts on the floor when the room had supposedly been cleaned but it stayed there for the whole of our stay. There was an awful drains/sewage smell in the bathroom. Daily housekeeping was poor nothing actually cleaned/replenished. We had to ask for toilet roll after daily housekeeping had been done. There are no top sheets on the beds just a scratchy blanket’s .There is a huge language barrier for English speakers with most of the staff. For instance when we asked for toilet paper they brought towels? There is supposed to be three additional restaurants apart from the Ocean canteen but never saw these open for the 10 days of our stay. Some positives Ozman the late night waiter was an absolute pleasure so friendly helpful and kind. The same can be said for the regular shuttle bus driver(don’t know his name). If I’m honest I wouldn’t recommend this hotel or stay there again.

From the moment we stepped into Wind of Lara Hotel & Spa, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and hospitality that set the tone for our entire stay. The hotel itself is stunning modern, clean and beautifully maintain but it’s the staff that truly made our experience unforgettable.

A special shout-out to Rose from Guest Relations, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable every single day. Her kind nature, attentiveness, and professionalism were unmatched. She truly made us feel like valued guests, not just room numbers.

The manager with a fringe on the reception desk omg I just loved her was always smiling and helpful, making sure our dining experiences were top-notch. Her energy and friendliness made every mealtime a joy.

We were also impressed by Behram and Attila, who were both incredibly hardworking, respectful, and consistently ready to help. Whether it was assisting by the pool or ensuring our needs were met in the common areas, they delivered exceptional service with a smile.

The rooms were spotless, the food was delicious with great variety, and the entertainment was vibrant and fun for all ages. The pool areas and spa facilities were especially relaxing. Every detail felt thoughtful and well-managed.

Thank you, Wind of Lara team, for making our holiday so special. We can’t wait to return and we’ll definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family!

Stay was good but hotel rooms aren’t being cleaned properly or at all. Food served is cold 90% of the time. Staff are friendly except one manager that spoke to everyone else except us (man with grey/white hair).
In a good location close to beach and alot of shops!

I was over the bar that serves free drinks until 2am. Not very restful until after 2. Lots of choices of foods and drinks all day. Music blaring all day, sometimes 2 playing at the same time, so not relaxing. Room nice, poor bedding or inadequate Spa staff very pushy and not really a great paint job to be honest. Allowed me a 2 pm check out, possibly as I had slipped over on a wet floor. Taxi arrangements are not good, wanted to charge me £30 to the airport! I walked up to the road and got one more than half that. Yellow cabs are great

I am writing to share my recent experience during my stay at Wind Of Lara Hotel, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations.

Firstly, I noticed that payments are only accepted in Euros, which could pose a challenge for American guests. Upon our arrival, we encountered a manager who was quite unprofessional and unwelcoming. It was apparent that tipping significantly influenced the level of service received; without it, we felt a distinct lack of respect.

Additionally, the housekeeping standards were disappointing. We found that bathrooms were not cleaned adequately, and our pillowcases were not changed over the course of five days. Moreover, we were provided with only one key card for our room, regardless of the number of guests.

The dining options were also underwhelming. We experienced a lack of variety, as the same meals were repeatedly served for both lunch and dinner.

Given these issues, I regret to say that I would not recommend this hotel to fellow travelers, especially those from the U.S. Our seven-night stay turned out to be quite frustrating, and I feel it did not justify the price we paid.

I hope improvements can be made for future guests.

Wonderful resort, has everything you could ask for - mostly everything you could ask for was inclusive. Cleanliness, views, activities, food, and ambience - everything was spot on. Qualifies as a 5 star resort.

The only star reason I’ve given it 4/5 is because some of the staff could be nicer and friendlier - this was missing from certain counters.

We spent a wonderful week in this hotel. The staff was amazing, very kind and helpful in every situation. They offered a lot of services and events for adults and kids too. We really appreciated the show time every evening and the Turkish dinner two times. The hotel has a bus to take the guests to the beach but to be honest the private beach is really close so it was nice to take a walk.

Really bad service and shocking management had money stolen the first day I arrived from the room while being in the pool. The management is really bad as every person that works there tries to charge u money for something that’s free by making up their own rules. Would never recommend someone to stay at this hotel as u will have to keep making sure you take all your stuff with you when leaving the room as other members of staff will come into your room while you not their. I booked it thinking it’s a five star hotel but not safe at all. Also all the staff is very rude with a very little understanding of English. The hotel charged me extra on the day of check out while the other manager had agreed and informed us the day before it was all sorted and just to drop the keys off. Would highly recommend to choose another hotel if you want to visit Antalya and enjoy your self instead of keep having to worry about your personal belongings. Was informed to keep stuff in the hotel save after money was stolen on the first day and couple of days later make up went missing from the safe so the staff definitely had a way into the safe also. So in simple words if you want to visit Antalya to enjoy your self book your self another hotel. As I would never be going back to this hotel!!

It's a 4* hotel, nice enough for a short stay

The hotel is nice and very clean (especially for Turkish standards!), the food was good and there was a decent selection. The drinks etc were decent, albeit you couldn't have a cocktail or anything without some sort of syrup and an incredible amount of sugar!

The main drawbacks are the bedrooms—the bathrooms smelled extremely bad (of sewage), so I struggled to sleep at night. Some of the bathroom decor was unfinished—the wall was plastered but not tiled or painted. It didn't affect its use, but it felt off. Also, when I checked in, the bathroom light wasn't working. It took until the next day, midday, for someone to come out to fix it.

The walls and doors were so thin that I could hear people having conversations in the next room without their voices being raised. The gap in the door to the main corridor was big, meaning I could hear noise all through the night until 2 a.m. when people went to sleep. My room was positioned close to the lifts, so the noise was intense and constant.

On the last night, someone new checked in to the room next to mine and they decided to have a 'party' there—music blaring and shouting until nearly 4 am. I traveling home exhausted!!!

Most staff do not speak English, so making requests, etc, is very challenging and awkward. Nonetheless, they are helpful and try their best to help if you can explain what you want.

The Wi-Fi is intermittent and not great; it often concks out, especially outside by the pool.

Staff doesn’t speak English, even if you have a complaint they don’t understand you. There is no supervision in the cafeteria or around the pool area. The room cleaning is very sloppy, they even forgot to change the bedsheet. When you call for something they are not responsive. The food in the cafeteria is not the best and a lot of flies all over. The facility is not bad but the service is horrible for a five star hotel.

Very bad experience

Our stay was not very good, we asked for 2 rooms , and when we checked in they convinced us to take family room because they were fully booked,so we accepted… but the room was very dirty … the bathroom was used, the balcony window was full of finger prints, i found gum in the floor and above of all the room smell was very bad my daughters couldn’t sleep … the receptionist charged me 200$ More and when I confronted him he said it’s currency’s difference , so after arguing with him and making the calculations so many times, he returned the 200$ back.
In addition the food quality is very bad, the staff are very rude .

The hotel itself was excellent including the room, cleanliness, facilities and food but the old man on reception who didn’t speak much English had a bad attitude and refused to help me. He told me he couldn’t see my reservation and that the family suite I booked was not available. I showed him a print out of my confirmation booking email from Expedia and he still said he couldn’t help me. After 3 hours of going back and forth with him and Expedia he left and I had to explain the whole situation to a different member of staff. She was much more helpful even though she took her time also. I was not compensated in any way for the mix up and delay.

First of all, the common area and hallway were very hot. No air condition. It was frustrating. Second, i got general rash and itching. I treated as scabies.my room was désinfected the day I left. Overall, the stay was pleasant - especially since the hotel was very empty. However, the hotel lacks 5 star service when it comes to making sure the guests are happy. English is also a problem as there were only a few people who were actually fluent. Also, one of the bathroom's door wouldn't lock and the telephone line and plug sockets were un-usable. Apart from this, the hotel has a good range of activities, the shower was amazing, beds were changed daily and rooms were cleaned very well. The hotel has a nice spa with very well trained masseuses. Would go there again but wouldn't expect the 5 star service.

After my 1st day, I brought to the attention of the front desk that I was unhappy with the towels and not having enough toilet paper and that the showers could flood...I was told that they will take care of it. When I came back, to my surprise, nothing was done, they didn't even clean or made the bed....I didn't say anything. The next day the bathroom flooded...I packed my bags and checked out of the hotel.

Beautiful hotel inside. Clean tidy, friendly staff. All went above and beyond.

The food was lovely when I found something I liked. BUT I am extreamly fussy. However there was a LOT of choice.....Meats fish salads sweet coming out of your ears.....It's no wonder Turkish have big bellys!!

I would go back......

I don’t recommend it. It was shocking when you are brought to the room with trash left in the bin, wet sink, used soap, used towel and pet bottles left under the bed. No cup was installed and they never bring it even if I asked for it. They said medical consultation is free but there was no such service existing. They didn’t even provide ice cube when my child hit the head because of their wet floor. Food is not well made. Everything tasted too less salty and not much variety in cooking method. In snack time you will basically only have fried or baked potato and some fruits. Facility itself is big but it’s running with far less employee. People don’t speak English.

Der Aufenthalt war insgesamt schlecht und dem 5-Sterne-Standard nicht gerecht. Beim Ankommen fehlte eine ordentliche Einweisung – keine Erklärung, wo was ist oder wie Abläufe funktionieren. Das Zimmer war okay, aber deutlich in die Jahre gekommen: Schränke und Türen schließen nicht richtig. Das Essen war leider unterdurchschnittlich – meist fad, optisch wenig ansprechend (v. a. Obst & Salate). Organisatorisch wirkte das Personal überfordert: Gläser und Besteck lassen auf sich warten, während Teller im Gegenzug viel zu schnell abgeräumt werden. Freundliche Mitarbeiter waren die Ausnahme, meist wurde man ignoriert. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich Atilla – er war freundlich, hilfsbereit und hat sich um Anliegen gekümmert, die über den Standard hinausgehen. Der Strandshuttle war zu klein, aber da man in 10 Minuten laufen kann, war das erträglich. Extrem störend war jedoch der ständige Verkaufsdruck durch Spa-, Foto- und Sportmitarbeiter – auch nach mehrfacher Ablehnung. Der krönende Tiefpunkt war beim Auschecken: Eine Mitarbeiterin nahm uns ungefragt das Handy ab und füllte selbstständig eine 5-Sterne-Bewertung auf HolidayCheck aus – extrem übergriffig. Ohne diese Aktion wäre das Hotel mittelmäßig in Erinnerung geblieben, durch diesen Vorfall sehen wir uns gezwungen, eine ehrliche Bewertung zu teilen. Preislich mit ca. 150 €/Nacht zwar okay, aber das allein reicht leider nicht.

Ich fand das Hotel super schön toll und die Mitarbeiter waren hervorragend das essen ist sehr sehr lecker die snacks am Pool sind sehr gut die ein paar gerüchte die ich gelesen hatte hatte ich eine schlechte gewisse bis auf ich es selbst gesehen habe es stimmt mit den Gerüchten garnichts es ist alles hervorragend schön genau was man alles bei einem 5 Dterne Hotel sucht findet man dort ist echt sehr schön gewesen empfehle ich auf jedenfalls jeden der ein tolles Urlaub vorhat zu planen zu Wind of Lara zu kommen

Helt perfekt hotell, allt va bra. Rent, stora fina rum, fint pool område, bra med transport till stranden, bra mat. trevlig personal speciellt Rosé. Som tog hand om allt du behövde . Har aldrig sett nån som går runt och pratar med alla, hjälper alla . Hon får 100 stjärnor. Chefen du måste ge henne bättre betalt 😉 och får inte glömma den grymma underhållnings teamet. Men Vedo du måste springa snabbare i gymmet 😂

Har bott på detta hotell flera gånger. Nu upplevde jag det som rörigt, ointresserad personal förutom mannen med flätor i baren. Receptionens personal (inte kvinnan) verkar trötta och ointresserade av gäster.
Maten betydligt sämre jämfört med andra hotell som jag bott på i augusti.

Det var veldig fint. Rommet hadde god plass, fint bad, veldig fin bade basseng, deilig mat, det eneste som var dårlig (og enkelt) at tallerkener og glass var ikje rene, de ble ikke vasket bra.
