This is a fairly new hotel but the very first that doesn't have a few bottled waters in the rooms and a couple glasses for wine/beer. Weird. Also, they put a 150.00 hold on my card for incidentals which is a bit steep, I mean that is a little over the top. All the other casino resorts in the area and on Bainbridge are 25 to 50 bucks for incidentals. Little Creek is 100. All in all, it was a good hotel and we had a great time. It's always nice to be able to stay at the hotel your gambling and drinking. It's nice to be able to just go upstairs when you've had enough fun.

The room had what we needed for a quick stay and all the staff were really great. It was really easy to park and get on/off the freeway. There are several restaurant options on site but none of them have any vegan options--not the end of the world, there are several restaurants within a couple of miles of the hotel. We had just been driving a long time and were hoping we'd be able to just eat at the hotel/casino.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were. I had a bit of trouble when I first arrived, my door would not lock (the dead bolt), but the staff sent maintenance to my room quickly and they fixed it. I had a really great three night stay.

I did not like the way your security officer treated me watch out for the bald guy Pani he will tap on the hood of your car with a flashlight! Then when I said something he threatened to beat me up.
Other than that my stay was great. Did not see very many big winners for a Saturday night tho.
Room 528 sucks so for from the elevator made for lots of walking

Easy and convenient check in, good value, secure parking, clean comfortable room. I couldn’t get a luggage cart anywhere even after I asked - so I had to make a few trips to unload and load the gear I was traveling with. Would stay again.

My A/C unit was so loud I could not sleep. I tried calling for service several times and nobody answered. I also tried calling for room service and nobody answered. I was forced to go downstairs and order dinner even though I was already for bed and wasn't planning on leaving my room.

spent the night of 4th of july at the new EQC Hotel. Happily paid a hefty price for a
basic room that was not cleaned properly
and had 2 used towels on the floor of my shower No bottled water or even a snack was
provided. Not even pay mini fridge. The front desk apologized profusely about the issues but i was never compensated for what money i paid for an un kemp room. Was looking forward to
ordering room service and doing a
little late night gambling. I had
a room with a view of fireworks going from
sundown to sun up. on one andwered ti calls to
room service , not the front desk nor the
kitchen. i tried calling on and off for almost 2 hours before they stopped room service and not one answer. So by the time i go down to mention it to the front desk th restaurants closed and the only thing open was worse than am pm
food. Needless to say i basically ate vending machine food and gambled for an hour.The hotel
wa beautiful but
the staff and
the service did not
match up to the look You got warm bodies from
walmart working a job that requires the ability to
read. Just nonsense

The property was well maintained. Easy to Park but I am NOT paying extra for breakfast when we pay so much already. There should be a basic breakfast like other Hotel chains. Especially when it says Breakfast when booking. Beautiful facility. But why can't the pool be opened earlier for us morning folks? 9am is a bit late especially if you need to be somewhere. Small pool but it works but definitely disappointed.
But a fun time !

We thought the pool could have stayed open longer than 9pm. The pain at the hot tub on the had peeled off for about 18 inch length. My grandson and I almost fell because the floor around the pool and hot tub are so smooth. I had almost fallen going into the restroom in the pool area. We weren’t running either. I’d suggest putting sand or something in the texture of the floor to avoid it and give more traction. When you walk into the hotel it smells strongly of cigarette smoke. I am assuming it was coming from inside the casino. The room was lovely. Maybe I missed it but having a type of lock on the sliding bathroom door would have been nice.

When I checked in on 6/12/26 your front desk person froze the amount for my room plus deposit for possible charges to my room. On the morning of 6/13/26 the amount of my room was again frozen on my debit card. I tried to explain to the manager the problem she kept saying I would get the initial charge back in 2 to three days. Apparently she doesn't understand when charges are pending those funds are not available to you. In a nut shell almost 3 times the amount I owed was frozen in my account. I'm writing this on 6/14/26 and the over charges still aren't available. After my trip to the front counter at approximately 9:30am they put me down as checked out so not once but twice a maid tried to get into our room, even with the do not disturb sign out. CHECK OUT TIME IS 11:AM.

Casino was clean, spacious but very tight machines. Lost everything we came with. Food was excellent, especially at Puyalpubs (sp?). Hotel room had gorgeous view, well proportioned. Only downsides were not a very private toilet space and the bed was hard, not squishy (preference). Front desk was absolutely lovely and made effort to check us in early. Concert venue was spectacular. Bars were generous and priced fair.

Only one thing this time, the Tribe, had fireworks at midnight… woke up from a dead sleep thinking we were being attacked. Once realized it was fireworks, quickly went back to sleep.

The hotel was wonderful, staff very nice and friendly. The coffee maker in our room did not taste very great, but that might be just that individual machine. We found the casino, very smoky, but that is expected in a busy casino. I had to shower immediately after the concert to remove all the smoke from my hair/clothes. The cleanliness of the hotel was immaculate, and the soundproof windows were very appreciated for such a busy area. The concert venue was louder than most arenas we’ve been to, and I did feel sorry for those without ear protection. Watched Blackberry Smoke in concert- they were magnificent! Oh, rooftop restaurant had a great view and helpful staff.

I had an excellent stay at the Emerald Queen Hotel & Casino Tacoma. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with great amenities and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything I needed.

The hotel is well-maintained, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I especially appreciated how easy check-in was and how comfortable the beds were after a long day.

I also enjoyed dining at the Puyallup Cafe. The food was great, and the service was excellent. Everything about my stay exceeded my expectations.

I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Tacoma area. Great service, clean accommodations, and a wonderful overall experience!

Restaurant was a 1/4 full and it took a few min to be greeted by waiter who then never asked us if we would like something to drink , just put down two waters. We both ordered prime rib dinner, our waiter dropped off dinner and never came back. When we were finished 20 min later we had to walk to the front of the restaurant to pay our bill

I was very impressed with the Emerald Queen. The Casino was well designed and very clean.
We ate at the Slahal steakhouse. What a lovely atmosphere. We arrived very late in the evening and were still warmly welcomed. Our waiter was top-notch and made our meal even better with his professionalism and humor. We tried the seafood tower and it did not disappoint! I had a nice cabernet with my dinner and my husband tried a few of the IPS's offered on the large menu.
Our King room on the 10th floor was large and very clean. The bathroom was roomy and had a very large glass shower. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows and linens are great quality. It was easy to sleep in until 10:30 and relax.
We would definitely go back. We are not big gamblers but this casino is just plain fun.

Do not stay here. Lobby smells of cigarettes due to its attachment to the casino. Small rooms. No microwave. Sliding barn door on bathroom. Lame views. Parking garage was somewhat of a pain often crowded. Elevator required a key that does not always work. Riding up and down on the elevator because my first key did not work was irritating to say the least. Unloading the car requires a hunt for a Baggage cart and two elevators. The staff break area is right next to the parking garage door so you will get to enjoy walking through cigarette smoke on your way in and out every time. Pool was closed with no notification and I was told by the hotel manager to drive to Fife and use their pool. This hotel is three miles away on the other side of the freeway. I have three small children. Michelle, the hotel manager, was cold, unhelpful, and dismissive. If you have any issues just know that she will brush you off and hide behind policy. She is clearly not suited for the hospitality industry.Even if the pool is operational it is 10 ft by 18 ft and no more than 3.5 ft deep. This is barely a pool. That fact that it need repairs with how new it is is concerning. A free stay in a penthouse could not make me come back. I will never stay here again. Thanks Michelle.

Great hotel for our 3-generation Mother's Day get-away! Everything we needed in one place. Comfortable, clean lodging, easy parking, helpful staff, music & casino entertainment and good dining options. The only downside was the pool & jacuzzi were shut down for mechanical problems. The space looked relaxing and we all brought our suits but it wasn't meant to be that weekend unfortunately. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Tacoma!

Frustrating having a fridge for left overs, but no micro to warm them when you wanted them

Only restaurant with decent food was Puyallup cafe.

We were told when we checked in the hat tacis were always waiting downstairs. We were given 4 different directions to find them. No taxi. Security called twice and a taxi after an hour just showed up to hopefully be needed. The call was never activated.
After waiting an hour we missed the wedding we're going to. Very funny ustrating

The room was very nice except there was no information that we could find about amenities such as WIFI, restaurant locations and such. Not enough outlets near the bed for both out C-Pap machines. Some outlets did not work properly and cords would not stay plugged and were loose. Additional there is very little directional signage throughout the resort. We circled around numerous times to find the hotel entrance. You must go in the East tower parking garage and take an elevator to the 4th floor to check-in. The parking garage also had bad exit signage when we left.

I would stay there again as the room was very nice and now we know the drill. However, new guests beware.
