I stayed for 2 hours and checked out. The room was dirty, every surface had film and scum residue on it. Every corner had crumbs and dirt. The room smelled and the walls must be paper thin because it sounded like someone was hitting the floor with a sledge hammer in the room above. U could literally here people's conversation from outside of the building to inside the room with the window closed. It felt unsafe and just overall very uncomfortable. It was the biggest waste of $144 I've ever made.

no, nobody come and clean the room, I have to the towels and sheets to the front desk to try to change and the manager denied to give me clean towels an clean sheets, I have to take out the trash to outside of the hotel to the dump, It is not a good place to stay, the rules are not clear in Expedia for this stay, Also it is difficult to find people at the front dest and attention from the manager was terrible

Drug addicts roaming the halls. Loud music. Marijuana smoke everywhere. Came to my first room to find blood soaked sheets all over the bed, and the unit had not been cleaned at all. I would never come here again. Huge waste of money.

1) I know dogs are allowed BUT; I stepped off the elevator into a puddle of dog urine. Front desk should tell occupants to alert them of any dog urine accidents in order to have maintenance or themselves clean up the urine.
2) The room was not clean. There were uncleaned sticky surfaces throughout the room.

I would NOT recommend staying at the property. Nor would I ever stay there again.

accommodating staff, clean room, great price. the only problem is that if you're not driving, public transportation is limited. there's a bus station across the street, but the buses don't all go into town. if you walk, be careful of the large area nearby that is filled with trash and the likely domain of homeless. otherwise, the main street is highly walkable as it has great sidewalks and walk signs.

The staff was rude they were not very professional the room was dirty especially the floor i went downstairs to report and gave me attitude they said they would do something about it but didn't offer another room. My key card didn't work had to go downstairs twice to get it fixed one of the ladies rolled her eyes like i bothering her never again i will stay there and pay attention when I pick a hotel with ther thousand of excuses and didn't try to anything about the dirty floor 😡

Im on the fence about this place.. the staff were mostly nice and the sense of community was strong. But I the cleaning of my room was horrible. The first day I could tell the floors were not swept or mopped. Had a greasy feel to it as if there was animal urine from the people before me. There was hair and crumbs all over the floor. I had to request someone to re clean the floor. Even after they did it was still poorly swept and mopped. I witnessed no water being using to mop. Just a spray bottle with a purple substance in it. I had to clean the floor myself to feel satisfied. The bed surprisingly had no hair.. under the kitchen sink were multiple beer cans. some spilt. I didnt bother calling the front desk because their line kept sending me to voice mail. I stayed here for 13 days, and each call i mare during that time was sent to voice mail.

The smell.. my room smelled really bad upon entering each time.. mold maybe? It was embarrassing having guests come by. Each time I entered I had to warn them about the weird smell.

Lastly, pests. I woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom. I’m finishing up my business and all of a sudden, a roach scurries across the floor into the door frame.

All in all the cleanliness was absolute trash, Nasty, repulsive but the neighbors were really nice and helpful. Always held the door open for me and my four children. P.s. they need better cleaning supplies. The broom I borrowed snapped after 1 minute of use. the mop is a rag.

Staff is rude especially the lady with purple hair. Our floor and toilet were dirty and when we told her about it, she was rude. We had to remind them the next day and then they only cleaned some of the floor and not the toilet. Every time we came back to the hotel, always a group of people smoking right in front of the hotel. We will not be using Choice hotels in the future and going to be hard to return back to use CheapTickets too

We stayed here because we were Pcsing to the area and we asked the front desk if we departed early we would get a refund for the days we no longer needed because they can sell our room type quick. I never got the refund and when I called they said they do not do refunds! All the staff were outside smoking joints right by the sigb that says no smoking within 100ft of the building and they all lived at the hotel and the night crew worked in their pajamas! Super unprofessional! They do not do linen exchanges but they will charge you for it! Also they charged us the pet fee for our medical alert dogs we had with us after stating they didn’t require a pet fee we were charged $5.00/day for a 16 day stay! Also their housekeeper walked into our room without knocking which scared my 2 year old! Would not recommend.

Bathroom constantly smelled of cigarette smoke. Nothing was ever done about it. Staff tried cleaning out my room a whole day before I was scheduled to leave. Was forced to pay for the last day I had already paid for in my reservation. Key card kept malfunctioning. Area around was not the safest. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.

Room was dirty. For example; hairs in bed, no pillow cases on a couple pillows, no towels in room, dirty refrigerator and freezer had huge red spill in it. The smell of the room had a food odor and hallways smelt of cigarette smoke. I checked in late and the staff member was clearly sleeping and was irritated that I was there. Not worth the money spent.

clean safe place, bed wasn't so comfortable nor the thin sheets. but it was quiet and safe. room keys didn't work for almost a week, but staff let us intoo room. i wanted to change hotels but since i booked thru hotels.com the hotel wouldn't let me out of the contract so that i could be closer to my work venue. but staff was friendly. fridge micro and cost made it worth it

More of an Apt. Style then a hotel long term , not an area for family stay ,, busy parking lot with homeless folks walking around lot & a lot of people hanging out in park lot on north side. At Check in and key card system was not working never got a key & still didn’t have one at check out this morning, a lot of dogs also . One of the worst WoodSprings I have ever encountered,, staff also live in Hotel but no front desk staff on from 11pm to 9am daily,,,,,,

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was a huge disappointment. The room was far from clean — there were stains and marks on the walls, and the furniture was damaged and in poor condition. It felt like no one had done a proper cleaning or maintenance check in a long time.

Outside the hotel, the environment didn’t feel safe. There were numerous bystanders and what appeared to be homeless individuals lingering around the property at all hours, which made the area feel very uncomfortable and unwelcoming.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, safe, or relaxing place to stay. Definitely not worth the money.

We got here twenty minutes after midnight. We called the number and Shanay came right away and got us checked in. Being so tired, I dropped or accidentally left my credit card. Shanay found it and brought it out to us out in the parking lot to give it back to me! (And we were clear out in the back!) That was very honest and kind of her! The room had a weird smell to it when we first walked in, but now I don't smell it. The shower was good.

If you're looking for an affordable place to stay for a couple of nights, WoodSpring Suites Tacoma - Lakewood offers decent value. The front desk and staff were friendly and helpful, which made check-in smooth and welcoming.

The room itself met basic needs but could have been cleaner—there were a few missed spots that made it feel like it hadn’t been fully turned over. Sound insulation is minimal, so you can hear noise from the hallway, adjacent rooms, and above, which may be a dealbreaker for light sleepers.

Parking was adequate during my stay, and the location is relatively convenient to major roads and nearby stores. While the hotel is marketed as extended stay, some guests may find the lack of daily housekeeping and limited front desk hours a bit inconvenient. That said, having an in-room kitchenette is a plus if you're planning to stay a few days and want to cook.

Not a luxury experience, but it works if you're on a tight budget and just need a place to crash.

Well, I didn't want to do this, but it looks like I have to! From March 27 to March 28, I was lucky enough to stay at this hotel-hostel for one night! Everything was terrible, starting from the moment I checked into this hotel, and ending with two employees who literally broke into my room at 9:15 a.m. when I was naked (they first knocked loudly, and then opened the door altogether)! I arrived at the hotel 30 minutes before 3 p.m., as requested by the administration, but at 3 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. I could not get into my room, by the way, I was able to get into it only at 3:55 p.m. The administrator explained this by saying that the room was not cleaned! Are you serious?! Check-out starts at 11 a.m., and your staff didn't have time to clean the room in 4 hours, it's just terrible! The hotel itself looks like a hostel, thanks at least for the clean sheets! I checked in and thought the surprises were over, but after I went to the shower, I discovered that there was no hair dryer in the shower, which was indicated at the time of booking. About the morning situation: I wake up to a loud knock on the door, it was 9:15 on the clock, I decide not to pay attention and go back to sleep, but as soon as I hear the lock of my door signaling the opening, and then my door opens, I jump up only in a blanket! I sleep undressed, what if I was open and didn't hear anyone coming in!? What kind of attitude is this towards the guests?!

I enjoy staying at this hotel because it's clean and affordable.vthey have kitches with full size refrigerator and freezer! Plus a dishwasher and stove. Included were dishes for 2. Cookware. All for under or around $100. I stayed two nights, but they offer really cheap weakly rates. I believe I saw a gym therevas well. It was closed, but opens early. I wasn't impressed with the front desk help the last couple of times I stayed. They were not very friendly or helpfull. Aside from that it's not a bad deal.

Appreciated, but won’t return.

The price was a bit high for the kind of environment and atmosphere. We noticed the sheets were not clean. The bed frame wasn’t in my opinion, king suite material.
The downstairs guest entrance on the side of the building was rigged to not stay locked, so security concerns were definitely present. Also, the elevator feels like the cables are about to break and have the cart fall. We appreciate the stay but we won’t be returning.

1. Upon arrival day, I had reserved 2 rooms. One for myself and my husband and one for our friend. I tried to call 10 times to let staff know. My friend arrived and was unable to check jn until we arrived an hour later
2. Ketchup drops on floor by trash can - gross, what else is dirty?

The inside of the room was ok I guess, the whole hotel smelled like urine and cigarette smoke, not to mention the room had been doused in bleach to cover up the smell……waited like 8 minutes to even find someone to check me in, rang the bell and no response….. but to make things worse, outside, there was a shooting in the parking lot and we ended up actually going to another hotel because it was so unsafe. There was police on the premises 2different times in just a few hours for 2 different incidents.

Hotels.com should really let people know that this is an extended stay type of place.
No one is at the front desk if you have to check in past 9PM.
Rooms were dirty. Do not be fooled by the nice pictures.
Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $20 for a reputable room.

There was a prior guests sock in the drawer. No soap, shampoo or conditioner. All utensils were finally located in the dishwasher. There was no dishwasher soap, so I just left them there. Glad I didn’t need them. This place is an extended stay and there are a lot of full time residence people.

While most staff are good. Here are couple of issues. 1. As it is extended stay I want to tidy up the room and I asked the cleaning lady for a sweeper which is in the cleaning trolley there and she was not cooeprative saying me buy your own. Another cleaner male person was generous enough to spare the sweeper later on. 2. The same cleaning lady was clearning post 6 am when coffee machine needs to be opened and was the same again saying that coffee machine only after 6 am while it is 6:10. Later she was ok to rush and bring the coffee. These things could be improved. 3. Check out time while is 11 am I asked for an extension as was there for 10 days and the staff said on the dot at 11:00 AM. I understand that sometimes it cannot be extended but the way they communicate matters. Just that don't expect much support from staff, they just go by the rules. Otherwise the suites were ok for the price.
