Excellent Guest House! Stuart is a great host. Clean property with excellent beds; coffee, teas and snacks provided in room. A very delicious Scottish breakfast (or whatever you prefer) cooked to order each morning. Bus stops right out front or parking available. A wonderful stay....would definitely stay again!

Our second stay at Ravenswood and it certainly won’t be our last.
Stuart is an excellent host. The rooms, especially the beds are very comfortable.
The breakfast is very good, it sets you up well for the day.
Great advice from Stuart on where to eat and what to see locally.
Everything at Ravenswood is spotlessly clean.
We thoroughly recommend this great B & B.

Really enjoyed the Ravenswood. Stuart (“the guy” who makes it all work) was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful and a great host. His place is situated perfectly near the bigger historical attractions and a very short cab ride from city center. We’ve been to our share of B&Bs, and his guest house was quite nice.

Highly recommend Ravenswood if staying in Stirling. We were greeted at the door by cheerful Stuart and offered coffee and our stay maintained this level of friendly and generous hospitality. Well set out room, small but didn't feel it. Modern finishes. Comfortable bed and hot shower. Toiletries provided. Included breakfast was superb and full of options. We recommend the Posh porridge and delicious scrambled eggs. Even Haggis and Black pudding is on offer.This was our first stay in Scotland and we've since stayed at 2 others and these are definitely not up to Ravenswood standard. 1 min down the road is a bus station to Stirling Centre.

Ravenswood guest house was a pretty building with three parking spaces in their front drive, which was very convenient. (There was also easy street parking around the corner if need be) Our room was very clean and comfortable with a modern en-suite. Stuart was a charming, friendly and helpful Host and his partner's artwork adorned the walls which gave it a really unique feel! The breakfast was delicious and plenty to choose from. We really enjoyed our stay!

My wife and I stayed at the Ravenswood Guest House for a short break so we could explore Stirling and the surrounding area. For us the location was perfectly situated between the National Wallace Monument and Stirling Town centre. There is on-site parking which allowed us to park the car and walk to all the main tourist attractions - The National Wallace Monument (1 Mile, 24 minute walk) and the Stirling Castle (1.2 miles, 26 minute walk), The Old Town Jail (1.2 miles, 26 minute walk) and Stirling Town centre (1.3 mile, 28 minute walk). However, in order to reach all these locations you need to walk uphill. The Ravenswood Guest House is extremely clean, comfortable and well equipped. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Stirling then look no further.
Stuart was the perfect host and made us feel extremely welcome. He provided us with lots of great local knowledge and his breakfast was superb.

Unique furnishings-loved the thistle wallpaper in our room, and the big dining room for breakfast. The host is so helpful and friendly, booked us a restaurant as soon as we arrived for that night. Highly suggest using the local bus stop, right in front of house, to get to Stirling castle & restaurants on other end of town. Also convenient walk to a few dining options in direction of Wallace monument.

Stuart and the Ravenswoods Guest House was great! Stuart was baking brown bread as we arrived and it smelled amazing! I ate some for breakfast the next morning and its the best brown bread I've ever had. The room was a tad small and its not easy to get up the stairs to the upper bedrooms if you have large heavy suitcases but it is comfortable. Its very close in if you need groceries or want to take a short walk to Stirling Bridge. Dont hesitate...just book it!

Stuart was a fantastic host arranging a slightly earlier check in and making us feel so welcome.

The room was extremely tidy and the bed was very comfy allowing us to have an amazing nights sleep.

Breakfast in the morning was freshly made with everything you could really ask for.

Overall our stay was superb and excellent value for money. If we ever come to Stirling again we would 100% stay at Ravenswood guest house.

I would recommend anyone wanting to stay in Stirling to stay with Stuart at Ravenswood guest house!!

We had a lovely stay at the Ravenswood guest house, the host has clearly put a lot of thought into making the guest house as comfortable and convenient to stay as possible, with many nice welcoming touches. The host was also super helpful, offered much great local knowledge and cooked yummy breakfasts!
Our stay was in the twin room, which is a little tight on space, but perfectly comfortable, clean and maintained. Considering the location and competitive price the room size can easily be forgiven.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely consider this guest house first on any further visits we make to the area.

Stuart was an absolute gem! He was kind and personable and his home was lovely! The room was immaculate and tastefully decorated. We had to leave rather early the next morning to catch the ferry in Cairnryan and he still made us a delicious breakfast that was ready at 7am. Would stay again!

Favorite B&B of all time to date. Very clean comfortable great location, great directions from Stuart and GPS found it easily. Short easy drive to castle/town. Stuart is such a nice guy, even has beers in the fridge available. Breakfast was great, poached eggs were perfect and very good homemade brown bread. Would love to go back.

The Bed And Breakfast was lovely, spotlessly clean with good Sized bedroom and great on suite. Fresh soft towels and plenty of hot water. Beds were amazingly comfortable and I loved the Tunnocks tea cakes with the complimentary tea and coffee. Breakfast was a high standard and well presented. Although we live not far from Stirling I would use the facilities again. Very central to bus and rail links too.

Great little Stirling stopover

We were only staying one night on our way up to Inverness, to start the NC500. We were late booking anything and weren’t expecting much as it was so last minute.
However, what we found, was a great little place run by Stuart, who was friendly and informative. Lovely clean comfy room and one of the best breakfasts we’ve had for a long time. Small enough to have some interesting conversations with other guests in the dining room.
Would go back again!

Stuart was a fantastic host and recommended great restaurant for the evening. I was even upgraded to a large comfortable room with a bath so I could relax after a long day. Best stay of our trip

This was the best stay of our trip right from the get go. The room was clean, had an updated bathroom, and had the most comfortable bed on the planet. Stuart gave some great restaurant recommendations and cooked a fantastic breakfast with many locally sourced items. The blackout curtains in the room even allowed us to sleep for 11hrs as we tried to get over our jet lag.

We just stayed one night but the room was very comfortable and spacious. I especially liked the feather pillows! Gillian was friendly and welcoming and was helpful directing us to restaurants or answering any questions. My only complaint was that the wifi could not be accessed from the room as we were on the top floor and the signal was too weak.

Great find but some traffic noise in Stirling.

Everything was great except the B&B is right on a major very busy road. The triple glazed windows could not block out all the sound. We are not used to sleeping with such traffic noise. I didn't see any one else mention this in a review so maybe others aren't as bothered as we we're, but those who are very light sleepers, like we are, you are now warned.
I do want to end this on a very positive note. It was very good accommodation for the price.

Ravenswood boasts a wonderful host.

Our host, Stewart, was charming. He was very helpful in finding a great spot for dinner, along with a map to help us find it. He was also knowledgeable about our next destination, Edinburgh, and gave us tips on what to see and how to get around in the city. The rooms were clean and the breakfast area was large and comfortable. Although he claimed to be a poor cook, Stewart's breakfasts were very, very good. We would highly recommend Ravenswood Guest House!

Our stay at Ravenswood was very good. Our host, Stuart was welcoming and helpful. He makes a delicious breakfast with traditional Scottish food if you are willing to try it! Stuart was also very understanding when our plans had to change quickly due to a family emergency back home. We hope to return to Ravenswood next time.

We only had one night in the most adorable town of Stirling! The room was small but VERY clean and extremely comfortable! The owner was attentive and kind considering we were both actually sick! Breakfast was delicious! We would recommend this to anyone who doesn't need a lot of space! It's quite cozy!
