The room was clean and well presented. The only real problem was the ants that were coming in on the far end of the bench. They did find their way into some of our food items. I told one of the cleaning staff as we were leaving, but was unsure as to whether she understood. This needs to be addressed urgently!

You paid for what you got. No sharp knife or chopping board and smallest teatowel i have ever seen. Kitchen jug lid broken needed replacing, lounge suite very grubby, leak in lounge but must say was offered another room became of this. Staff very helpful

Husband and I Stayed 2 nights, On arrival there was no milk couldn’t get the plug out of the bath had to use a knife. Carpet looked clean but very sticky to walk on in bear feet. Otherwise lovely stay.

It was close to town. Very big spacious room and huge bathroom.
The road noise was quite bad so if you are not a heavy sleeper this can be a problem. Windows could be double glazed to help. The aircon helped it not be too cold.
Bed was big and comfortable.
I did have to ask for extra blankets as there wasn’t any in the room.
Also no hot chocolate available.

Easy parking, Great customer service. I had a really good sleep in the really comfortable bed. The only downfall as there was a blood stain on the single bed sheet and not enough milk/coffee/tea. Other than that I really enjoyed it.

First place I've stayed where they don't put more coffee and milk in the unit. Bed was comfortable and clean. Could do with a refurbish in the bathroom as this was moldy and wall had a hole in it where it had rotted. Have stayed there few years ago and place has changed. Didn't hear the traffic and suited our needs.

Water pressure is huge so watch turning on the taps.

Liked the large room and king bed though my pillow was hard like brick, and thick. Luckily found a spare pillow that was softer and smaller. Disliked hand basin in room instead of in the same room as the toilet and shower. There was a bedside lamp but nowhere to plug it in. Lights from nearby apartment block made the room light as no curtain on window on that side of room. Coming from a quiet rural area found the traffic noise annoying.

We were in a top floor unit (19 I think).
Aside from the moderately good view, everything seemed cheap & nasty, from the bed that would be better as a trampoline, wafer thin pillows (with no spares), table & chairs stuck out in the entry, and an incredibly noisy extractor fan in the bathroom that was last cleaned by Moses.
Worst was the road noise.
All-in-all, if you're wanting a place to sleep, find somewhere else.

The property is very dated. Very old furnishings. No insect screen. No central heating or cooling. A fan and a heater.
Nothing good about the property. The hot tub is deep with no seats. Hard to get out. Location has nothing to offer. Steep driveway. Too expensive for what’s on offer. Not going there ever again.

Friendly host, spacious apartment with king bed. The unit (19) was in need of a make over which the host explained was about to be done. It was close to a very busy road and unfortunately the only windows for ventilation faced this road. The bedroom did not have an opening window.Without air- con and only a fan it was necessary to leave this window open to cool the unit.The traffic noise was really bad until about 2am. We have stayed at a lot of different accomodation and don't usually \"grizzle\" however we were very disappointed with this unit and think it was overpriced for what it offered.

The man who handed me the key and took me to our room was friendly.
The room was huge and had everything we needed for our overnight stay.
The outside of the Motel and the property is very run-down, even the sign is rusted and to be honest, I had a bad feeling about my booking here when we first arrived.
However everything went well until I showered and the base of the shower is absolutely disgustingly dirty looking and don't look at the gunk on the shower head as I almost vomitted at the thought of water I'd just cleaned myself with coming out of it.
Unsure why rooms with spa baths appeal to people? They just seem very dated and I'd say barely ever used anyway so a wasted indulgence? I'd have preferred they spend money on the appearance of the motel, the sign and cleaning the shower til it sparkled!
It was cheap though, the room was fine and our stay was fine.

My boyfriend and I stay at Lake Point Motel Hamilton, NZ for 6 nights. We love our room with the hot tub jet. The location of the Motel is so convenient with the Hamilton lake park easy for walk. And it so convenient with the store and restaurants around. The stuffs so friendly and provide the excellent service when we need it. Definitely recommend..

Room was very large but dated and lacked any decor, Plates, glasses etc were all mismatched which seemed a little odd but the room was clean and comfortable. Very large bathroom and spar bath but the whole place really could use a freshen up.

Cold glad we kept the heater from the first room Needs decorating some money spending on it but could be good. Not the best location but the town centre isnt too far to walk

A good base to explore the area

Nice motel in Hamilton, close to town and eating options. We used it as our base to visit Hobbiton and the kiwi place in Otorohanga. We had a spacious room, enough for the 4 of us, a clean bathroom and good amenities. The only unpleasant experince was that our heater didn't work 100% the first night but the problem had been solved promptly by the owner the following morning.
I'd return and recommend the place.
