The breakfast was always amazing. Healthy options and helpful staff. The front desk staff were always helpful with their knowledge and we're very welcoming. The only complaints, really aren't complaints. The beds were not what we are used to in the Untied States, and it was a shared bathroom on a separate floor. But that's because I am cheap and came for the experience, not the in-room shower. There was a sink in the bedroom, and that helped a lot. Overall, definitely consider staying here. Just minutes to Marienplatz and the Glochenspiel!

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel and the location was convenient. I wish I had realized that there were made-to-order breakfast items available (there was a very tiny menu nestled on each table in the dining room, but I didn't even notice it until I heard others ordering eggs cooked to order on my last day). I did have some challenges with housekeeping in that some days it seemed like the room cleaning in general started at 9:30 am but my room itself did not get cleaned until after 4 pm, so perhaps there were some staffing issues, but the staff were friendly and helpful.

The location is walkable to most of the old city center in a safe neighborhood. We arrived early and were able to leave our bags until our room was ready. Desk staff gave great advice on restaurants and modes of transport to the airport. The room was spacious and clean. The only problem is the one step drop in our hallway that blends in due to the carpet pattern. They have a similar condition in the lobby with a strip of light on it. They need at least contrasting tape to show this one.

Two of the things I liked about the hotel: affordability + location. This hotel is walking distance to old town and there were a lot of food options nearby as well. Heating/cooling isn't controlled in each rooms, but a fan was provided when I was here in the summer. If you need a place only to sleep, shower, and maybe eat some breakfast before you explore town, I would recommend this place. Personally, I would stay at this hotel again!

There was a parking structure right across the street from Hotel Blauer Bock, next to \"Eatley\". The parking was my main concern so for this it was 10/10 for being close to everything AND easy to park. Staff very accommodating for our couple of requests (extra pillows...needed extra pillows).

Located in the Old Town, shopping and sightseeing is almost right at your doorstep. Not so near to the Marienplatz station, so it is relatively quieter and feels safer at night. Booked a “suite” which was really not much more than a couch in another room. Plain looking room with blank walls, lousy coffee machine, poor tv choices, and No AC! Would have been okay with windows open, but the area is extremely noisy with traffic, bars, patios, people yelling-even at midnight! No bellman, no ramps for bags, no soda machine, and not worth the price.

The location is fantastic, however the listing does not mention several key factors. There is no air-conditioning so we had to keep our windows open all night. In the morning it gets very noisy early (6:30-7am) with delivery trucks, street sweepers and traffic. The bar/restaurant is closed on Monday. And there really is no bar/restaurant at all, it’s just food served outside, but no place to really hang out. Overall the cost of the hotel combined with lack of amenities was disappointing.

Directly across from Eataly and one block from Der Pschorr, also sidewalk pizza cafes and others nearby, so you have a little bit of everything in Old Town Munich. Hotel Blauer Bock breakfast buffet is very nice, and service and friendliness here are excellent. Rooms clean and minimal with a nice old world feel to them, like a comfortable dormitory, which makes sense for a prior monastery. I walked easily from Marienplatz and from Sendlinger Tor Ubahn stops with my luggage. Stayed three nights over two separate weekends. Reasonably quiet.

The location is perfect for Muenchner connoisseurs as well as newbies who want to have convenient and quick access to all the beauty the city has to offer. The adjacent Viktualienmarkt offers a variety of excellent casual eating along with other quality restaurants nearby. Marienplatz is about a 5 minute walk from where you see the Rathaus and many other worthy sites. Munich is immensely walkable so that all key attractions are easily reached.
The breakfast buffet is replete with local delicacies. Coffee is generously served by a very friendly and hospitable staff. Yogurt, muesli, eggs, German bread, cold cuts, etc. are plentiful. All in a setting of tablecloths, cloth napkins, and real cutlery (no plastic!).
Lastly, the staff is very helpful and kind with the owner/manager visibly working alongside his co-workers. Whether it is the front desk, restaurant, or room service, they are the best. The property was very clean and well-cared for.
