There are SUPER steep stairs, all throughout this building. Very cautious about the bedding because they were bedbugs. The showerhead in my room also did not work. Therefore we had to use the tub faucet. It’s in a great location and the staff was super helpful and accommodating. It also had a very pretty view of the plaza in front of the hotel from the windows.

Hotel should be demolished. When you open the front door, you have to walk up around 35 narrow steps side ways not to slip and fall. There is no elevator in the building. The 2nd floor has a narrower set of around 45 step wide enough for 1 person and has to also be negotiate walking sideways. The disco Nextdoor starts blasting music from midnight to 4 AM. So bring noise equalizers. The place is a fire hazard. There is no A/C but a fan on the wall helps.

The hotel’s location is excellent — everything you need is within walking distance, and it’s easy to reach from the airport (about 30 minutes by public transport). The building and furniture are a bit dated, but it adds to the vintage charm, which I actually liked. Everything in the room worked fine. However, the cleanliness could be improved, especially in the bathroom, where there was some mould on the ceiling and tiles, and the shower curtain seemed overdue for replacement.
Another downside is that the room’s electricity only works when the key card is inserted into the power slot. This means that when you leave and take the card with you, there’s no electricity to charge your devices. I also noticed that charging my phone took unusually long, even when the power was on.
Everything else was fine, and if you’re wondering whether I’d go back — I would. You can’t beat the location and the price we got it for.

our Room was okay was a little bit dated but had everything we needed, only downsides were the shower was not great. It had a small head and pointed out of the bath which caused water to go all over the floor there was shower gel provided which was nice. My main downside to the room was the smell. Outside our winder was a gutter which was full of old rainwater and moss which did not cause a nice smell, this would have been fine if we had air con but we did not. In conclusion looking at price and area the hotel it was good and had everything we needed as we were not in our room a lot anyway, the staff were nice and friendly which made the our experience very pleasant

Great location center of both areas in the middle if you rent a bike so easy to get around the place was spotless. The only thing the 2nd floor shower is tricky. If you don't set the knob, the old knob, the right way it has scolding hot water, be careful.i asked 2 time to fix tv no luck no tv bummer lol

Location is ideal in the middle of all the action. You can walk to most locations and immerse yourself with the city. There are no elevators and stairs are a bit steep so I suggest that your able and mobile. There is also no AC so depending on the time of year it may get a bit hot in the room but we're able to open windows and they have a fan in the room.

We knew we had booked a small double room but the bed itself was not a double bed but more a large single. However the hotel staff immediately offered us a better room and bed after our first night with no fuss at all. The hotel is conveniently located in the old part of the city. While the room was clean and the bathroom is renovated, the rest of the property is quite dated and the stairs are steep and steps are narrow (as in many older houses in the area). There are many restaurants with outdoor station around Rembrandt square where the hotel is located, that could be noisy at night.

Everything in this hotel worked very well. My only suggestion: shared showers- drains should be opened up or cleared more so shower water can drain faster. If you try to use the shared shower right after someone, you have to wait until the drain clears, which can take some time.

I was awoken at 5am by people speaking out on the street - the hotel is located above bars. The noise from other residents in the hallway also disturbed me and I usually am a heavy sleeper. My bed sheets had many hairs on them and the overall interior was worn. The interactions I had with the front of desk were great and they were very helpful but I would not stay here again.

Really enjoyed this place - location was great because so much was around it. Stairs and small and almost vertical lol. No air conditioning, just a big window to the square, which, in Early September was only kinda busy until 4am so hopefully you like crowd chatter all night or have booze cancelling headphones.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE EVER! I have to change rooms due to no elevators going up n down the narrow stairs was bad. Especially my dad is elderly in his 60s. They gave us a hard time to change rooms. By the end of the day when we first check in; they let us check in Room #5; instead of room #26 which is on 4th floor. The 2nd day we stay in 5; the smell of sewage started it. Then it got worse on day 3 then day 4. Breakfast was bad. The pictures on hotels.com shows it good but in reality NO. Im also going to attached the pics before n after pictures BF. When we was there; spoiled old yogurt expired!

My initial room was great, but it turned out that the afternoon after I checked in I returned there and my key no longer worked. I had apparently been given the wrong room the previous evening and had to pack up and relocate two floors up where the room was not as pleasant and had a faint offensive odour.

We had a great stay and a wonderful upgrade. They carried our bags to our room for us as the stairs were alot! Great location, lots to walk to, transit right across the street. Only downside was its busy outside untill 3 am almost every night and hard to sleep with the windows closed with no ac.
