Clean room! The area around is not the best to stay in but you are walking distance to the train station so that was very helpful! You are close enough to walk to where everything is. I would recommend just be careful when you leave the hotel!

Hotel itself is nice, pretty close to American hotels. The day-time staff at the desk were not welcoming at all, was annoyed with the questions we asked about how to get to a place we wanted to go. The two overnight staff we interacted with were very nice. We did luck out with the end of the hallway room which is bigger and quieter. Biggest problem is the area is not nice at all - the streets were littered with alcohol bottles and other trash and the two strip clubs between hotel and train station had people outside them at all hours. We saw those reviews but figured since we'd be walking by early in the night, it'd be fine, but no matter the time, 2pm, 7pm, 4am, there were people out there. Wouldn't recommend for women traveling solo.

I enjoyed my stay here except for the shower. The water leaked under the shower door so we had to use towels to block the water from flooding the floor outside the shower. Too much space under the shower door. All else was great. Staff was very helpful, room was clean, breakfast was excellent.

It was a hot summer day, Air-conditioning was not working in the room. Informed staff but they said that they can not do anything. They suggested to open windows, but it didn't help. Instead a lot of noise was added to the discomfort. We also asked for a fan but hotel staff front desk manager said they didn't have fans. He added, complaints have been submitted to hotel management to get things fixed, but hotel management is not taking actions. On top, elevator button on our floor was not working. Terrible experience, will NOT recommend this hotel

Nice Hotel in Great Location

We arrived early in the day and stored our luggage until 3pm for our room to be ready. It wasn't ready when we arrived back after check-in time, however, which was disappointing -- we waited in the lobby until they finished prepping it. The room itself contained a queen-sized bed and a queen-sized pull-out couch, which they'd already made into a bed for our child. The room was simple and clean. The location, just a few blocks from the central train station, was great for our stay in Munich. It didn't take long to walk into central Munich, either.

Stayed in this hotel Feb 14-17th. The whole stay was fantastic. Excellent location, close to the train station, very clean, comfortable bed and convenient amenities. The real gem of this hotel though is the staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful. Would absolutely stay here again.

If you like being claustrophobic this is the hotel for you. The rooms are tiny, there is no coffee in your room, and the shower is for little people. The pillows are not good and they do not have queen size beds. Do not take your kids to this area at night. The street is lined with strip bars, and shady characters. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great. I just do not see how this hotel gets an 8 rating.

Great location (in the middle of Octoberfest and old town) in a busy city. The hotel was clean and nice. Parking was a bear, luckily the hotel had an agreement with a local garage for a discounted price. Didn’t enjoy the ‘Female dancing club’ right across the street, but felt safe. Enjoyed Munich.

In a noisy, Middle Eastern area but didn’t feel unsafe walking in the evening. A woman alone should not be walking in this area at night.

We had three rooms here in August. We arrived early from a flight from the US and they made one room available so we could store our bags. The staff was good, the rooms were nice. My room was on the main street but it was quiet. The breakfast was good . Close to main train station. All in all a good choice, would definitely go back again. The area around the train station is a bit seedy, but we had no problems and the area seemed safe.

The H Hotel is a serviceable stay for Munich visitors on a budget who aren't looking for any frills. My wife and I stayed 4 nights and had a sufficiently spacious room that was dated but offered areas for us to lay out our belongings. The bathroom was more cramped than we preferred, but the shower was great (just make sure you close the doors carefully to seal them).

The wifi was great, and the air conditioning in our room was fantastic--some of the best in our 2.5 week European vacation. We really appreciated it after our hot, muggy days exploring the city.

The hotel itself is located conveniently close to Old Town, and is less than 10 minutes walking distance from the main train station. It's a little longer to the Munich Central Bus Station--about 25 minutes walking. For the convenience of proximity, the pricing was a good value. One thing to note is that the actual neighborhood around this hotel may not be ideal for families, as it is noisy, dirty (we saw human feces on the streets on 2 occasions), and has many strip clubs. On the other hand, if you want a place loaded with great Middle Eastern restaurants, this is a great neighborhood for that.

Overall, a solid hotel and worth it if you have pragmatic expectations.

The Old Town easily accessible on foot from this hotel.

My stay was nice, the room was ok, bed comfortable. I had no view from my room which was disappointing.

The breakfast though was excellent. Lots of choice and tasty.

I’d stay here again but would certainly ask for a bit more of a view.

The hotel was clean and while not spacious, it was fine for a European hotel. The parking was a few blocks away and difficult to find the first time due to construction in the area. The map they provided to find the parking lot had no street names on it so it wasn't very helpful. And it's definitely not in an area I'd bring children. There are strip clubs and gambling halls all around. Air conditioning was great and the price was right!

This hotel is located in a great location by the main train station and within easy walking distance of the old town. The hotel breakfast was excellent. It can be a noisy and busy area but we had hotel rooms on the backside of the hotel so it wasn't noisy in the rooms.

room was so nice, comfy beds, great shower area but shower door needed to be longer- lots of water sprays out had to clean floor up after a shower. large spacious room - front staff was so helpful in the morning- 2 guys ( one was a trainee and his trainer) they were helpful in getting us in before check in time ( room was ready) , helpful to tell us where to walk for food and other site seeing to do- he deserved a tip for how amazing he was. Just can't remember his name- but he was super at his job. would stay at this hotel and brand at another country now that I know this hotel brand. it is a super place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at H+ Hotel. The staff were very friendly, kind and welcoming. Less than a 5 minute walk from the main train station and underground services. We visitied Tollwood Festival (same site they run Oktoberfest from) it was 2 stops away on the underground so very convenient. Close to walk into Karlplatz and Marianplatz also. Great location, great staff clean and modern. 12pm check out time is also a bonus

It was a ok hotel with walking distance from Marienplatz (15-20 minutes). Neighbourhood is so-so. Main reason we booked this hotel was for it’s closeness to the city center and parking. Closeness to city center is ok, but beware of the parking. Parking is offsite and is about 5 mins walk away from the hotel. We used a considerable amount of time to find the parking first time, but it went smoother after that.

ALL the staff is extremely friendly. Our first impression was the gentleman in the evening and then the lady during the day. The breakfast attendant was very sweet. We had arrived after having a nightmare experience with a car accident. we had tried for two days to resolve the problem with Enterprise to no avail, on check out I was telling Yasiel, the desk clerk about it and he was able to contact Enterprise in Zurick for me when no one else including the local Enterprise people could or would. We were able to enjoy the rest of our trip thank to Yasiel.Now that is great customer service. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and the breakfast is very nice. There is some really good casual dining in the area and not far from the train station. We've stayed in this area before for the Oktoberfest,

Property is located very close to train station and easy walk to many main attractions. Unfortunately it is in a shady neighborhood of strip clubs and a casino. We did not feel comfortable walking at night. It’s a noisy street, there is construction, and the drapes don’t block out the sun. There was so much noise, we might as well have had the windows open. It didn’t get quiet until 3-4 am and then construction started at 6. Most of the staff were friendly but the lady who checked us out said there was a computer problem. When we told her about our awful sleep, she asked if we had the windows open, and then just shrugged and said ‘sorry’.
