The room was clean, spacious and well appointed. The bed was quite firm.
The area around the hotel was very busy and loud - but it easy walking distance to the festival grounds where Oktoberfest is held and to the main train station. It is a bit further out from the Marienplatz and main part of town.
There is a decent bar in the lobby and they offer luggage storage. There are several dining options near the hotel with cuisines from many different countries.

The AC in the room did not seem to blow fully, and it got hot at night. We had the windows open to help cool down; however, it became very noisy and woke us up constantly. Other than that, the room was clean and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good and filling as well. It is definitely the place to stay if you plan to go to Oktoberfest.

- Poor wifi (kept dropping out)
- Room was not soundproof, could hear the noise from other rooms
- Area where the hotel was located was unsafe
- Hotel charged for use of the sauna (I further note that on the hotel details 3 euros per use was being charged but the front desk of the hotel was demanding 5 euros)
- Elevator only went to the fifth floor of the hotel, however there was a sixth floor where we were located, we had to drag heavy suitcases up a flight of stairs
- The room itself was basically located in the A-frame of the roof, so the sloping ceiling took away a third of the room

A central location with very quiet rooms and helpful staff. The rooms all face the inner courtyard and have double glazing so they are very quiet and comfortable. The Thereinweise station is only a block away which allows for quick access to the underground.

The hotel itself is really good. Room is new, clean and quiet. The bed is really convenient. The staff is very friendly. The room is small (which was not a problem for me at all), and there is no gym. The thing I did not like is the area, which is kind of market street, with noise and dirt all around. It did not feel very safe at times.

Hotel is new and modern. I stayed at multiple hotels in Munich, and this one was probably the most modern. They also had an excellent use of space even in smaller rooms.

The area is okay but may take some getting used to. Any hotel near the main station has to deal with some sketchiness. This one isn't too bad because at least there aren't any strip clubs on the street. It's a quieter street for sure, for being walking distance to the main station.

Lovely hotel. Very clean. Great breakfast. Polite and helpful staff. Easy walking distance from train terminal and tram links (even with a suitcase). Not too far from tourist attractions. Quiet on floors 2 & 3. Shame about the street it’s on. During our stay in Aug 2024, the street was full of strip clubs, shady phone shops and beggars.

Great location. Everything we wanted to see and do in Munich was within walking distance. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood around the hotel. The breakfast buffet was excellent!! We were disappointed that there was no common area for our group to meet, have a drink and play cards, the common area at the hotel is part of their bar.

While the location was not too far away from mass transit the dining options were limited to the many middle eastern restaurants in the area. While this was not a problem for me, my picky children did not enjoy those limitations.

The property only runs the a/c after May, they advise you to open a window if the room is hot. The area around the hotel is extremely noisy, well into the night and early evening, which makes sleeping with the window open very difficult. The area around the hotel is not good. It's not quiet, there's lots of people just hanging outside the gambling rooms and strip club nearby, drinking, smoking, and yelling at each other. The hotel has 6 floors, but the elevator only goes to 5. If you're given a top floor room, there's an additional flight of stairs. The room itself had a huge pitch in the ceiling, which effectively renders half the room useless if you're taller than 4 foot. The room was clean and had modern amenities.

Only downfall is our towel warmer in the bathroom only worked the 1st out of the 4 nights we were there. We informed the hotel staff, they gave us a letter saying it will be fixed the next day but it did not happen at all even when we leave the hotel.

This property is in a very marginal location, but not far from the Old City (it is NOT, however, in the Old City). The front desk \"man\" had a horrible and unfriendly attitude - my guess is that he does not like Americans much).
Nevertheless, the place is spotless and has virtually every possible amenity.
I would NOT stay here again due to its edgy neighborhood.

I was getting a coffee on the espresso machine. Cant help it if yhe machine was slow. Theres this waiter literally standing 2 feet away facing me with his arm crossed because he need to get a coffee too. Too unnerving specially in the breakfast morning. I do give a great compliment to the staff at the receptionist desk, they are very pleasant and helpful.

I stayed for 3 days. As a solo traveller, this place is very convenient, walkable to central train station and LH express bus. You are in the center of everything, mostly mediterranean food around the area. Walkable to marienplatz and tour busses. After my day tour I usually just hang out to the hotels garden with margarita or wine. The bar tender is very kind. I met few solo travellers during my stay just hanging out at the garden until 11pm. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

The small single room was well designed to be comfortable and efficient. The room was was modern and clean and the staff were helpful.
The neighborhood was not ideal for me, since I prefer cleaner streets and a quieter street life. I wouldn't recommend it for young single ladies if going out at night.

Pictures of this boutique hotel were not what I expected..Hotel is ok but some areas of the room were dirty and dusty..stayed with my family for 4 days sheets and pillowcases were never changed..Air conditioning worked fine room was fine but I expected a bit more..Area was ok it’s around a lot of middle eastern restaurants and grocery stores well located..all in all I give this property a 3.5 good out of 5..

The hotel staff was very efficient and professional. The room was very clean, the bed linens were very comfortable. There was a kettle in the room with instant coffee and tea; we chose not to buy breakfast at the hotel as it was pricey. The other two hotels we stayed at during our travels included breakfast with the roommate which is very convenient for travelers.

The business lounge was open for our use to watch the televised futbol match between Germany and England which we appreciated!

2) Business center was a disaster. All websites - including the hotel's own site - inaccessible. Printer also inaccessible. Fortunately the front desk staff - who were excellent - printed what I needed from a PDF.

Beware that the area around the hotel can be rough at night specially for families with children because of casinos and strip clubs, however, it was perfectly safe to walk there at night.

Great hotel, centrally located, close to main train station and short walk to the old town. Hotel room was very clean and quiet, and hotel service was very good - they fixed an issue we had promptly by switching our room, and were available to print out some documents we needed. The area around it is livey, and offers convenient grocery stores and cheap middle estern food. This was actually the best hotel we stayed in during our 2 week trip in Germany, therefore we recommend it.

Comfortable budget hotel near the central train station Hauptbahnhof. Not the nicest neighbourhoods but safe. Convenient for walking to the Old City. Rooms are clean and comfortable and it appears recently refurbished. Good wifi. Good sound proofing in the walls. A good value stay. I'd recommend it.

Good location! When we first arrived to this property there was nobody at the reception desk for 10 minutes. It was kind of weird but we didn't mind. We booked a non-smoking room but the room smelled like cigarettes. It wasn't a bad stay, just a couple of things that could be improved.

The hotel was very nice and well maintained. The front desk staff was very helpful. Not being familiar with the DB, the clerk explained the system and even ordered my 1st tickets for me.
I thought the breakfast was way overpriced unless you plan on getting 2.5 meals for breakfast. I am sure it was good food but rather than paying the hotel 18 Euros each for breakfast, we went down the street and have wonderful meals for less than 1/2 the price.
The location is great, less than 10 minute walk to the train station, and less than 15 minute walk to the Sendlinger Tor. Very easy access to anything in the central Munich.

It would have been fine if it didn’t cost so much, but for $200/night. It was not too clean, very hot, but did provide a fan. There isn’t an elevator to the top floor so you have to take your luggage up the steps. The shower goes hot and cold the whole time.

Property no longer a Best Western Atrium hotel so our gps didn’t work. The Name changed to only Atrium hotel. Also it is on a one way street. Which was only difficult getting there at night. They have an underground garage but you must reserve for $18eu per night. If not reserved, then street parking is crazy and you have to pay for it. Hotel staff very nice and helpful. Close to Marienplatz and able to walk anywhere from hotel. Area location perfect, street a little shady at night but during day seemed fine. Rooms were clean, great bar and lounge area. The outside patio was really nice but couldn’t enjoy as a non smoker. I do recommend staying here and I would stay here again.
