Amazing location
Some rooms smelled - mostly liked cigarettes and stale air. They need to do a better jobs with that. Front desk didn’t like complaints about smoke smell. Too bad - we were telling the truth and we’re not going to spend money to sleep in an unenjoyable bad smelling rooms.
Dan Panorama was basically the same price - would opt for that next time

A jakuzzi, sauna and steam room, we enjoyed.
a parking is a nightmare...it says included for free. Then you arrive there and they said NO. we don't come to argue we just had to go and tried to find a spot.
One side of the parking is payable and we could not activate Pango for overseas credit card and phone....

Building pretty, but bathtub was so high it was dangerous. Our room was moved, but then there were other problems. When I tried to talk to staff person who moved us, she was extremely rude and waved papers at us saying she was too busy to talk. When I asked to speak to the manager, for 2 days was told she wasn't in. Far from sites. Awful experience overall.

Great location in the Carmel District of Haifa. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops although the better ones are further from hotel. Great views overlooking Haifa and the Baha’i gardens. Pleasant staff. Rooms are above average but not exceptional.

Do not recommend this hotel or any of the Dan hotels in Haifa. It is obvious that the facilities have not survived well through Covid and inflation. We met continuous problems.

They charged VAT to a non-Israeli booking. In fact the VAT for that room was charged twice and never reimbursed.

Bathroom fans didn’t work, lights were poorly installed and rooms were not well cleaned. There was food from last guests in the fridge and stains on the furniture.

Staff was limited, and not friendly even for Israeli standards. Th food included was not worth waking up for.

This property is a bit tired and needs some life breathed into it. It's pleasant and good value for the price but lacks amenities. Staff is a bit unprofessional. Upon checkout they charged us the VAT tax which is not supposed to be charged to Americans with an American passport. We protested but they insisted that it was in their system. This is the ONLY hotel in Israel that charged us the VAT tax
Asked for manager but none was available. We have to fight this charge with our credit card company

The room was looking out to Haifa bay, fantastic view. Good bed, good pillows, fantastic water pressure in the shower. Copious Israeli breakfast with the best ever cabbage salad!

The Hotel is old and feels old. Stayed here long time ago when it was Crown Plaza and had an amazing time. But since it was bought out by Dan hotels it’s not the same anymore.
The new owners are not renovating the place and it’s looks bad when you walk out of the elevator to a dirty and stained carpet floor. You don’t want to imagine how the room is going to be,
The rooms are dated, the balcony view is amazing but was dirty with cigarette ashes on the floor and dirty chairs and table. The rooms are cleaned to the minimum, only doing the beds and changing the towels. They didn’t bother taking away our room service dishes from the night before. Oh and no room service menus in the rooms, you have to call front desk to ask what’s available.
The buffet breakfast was not what it used to be and was disappointing.
The staff are polite and helpful but it’s not enough to make up for the neglect of this place.
I Hope management reads this but I doubt that anything would change.

Staff are great!

We extended our tour for 3 days and stayed at the Mirabelle. Very friendly staff. Rooms were quite small. You have to take a big step to get into the shower. As well, toilet did not flush and my room was not cleaned one day. Breakfast was delicious and once again, staff were excellent. Hotel has a nice pool and jacuzzi.

The position is excellent and central with a beautiful view. The rooms are small even the deluxe ones. We think they should improve the upkeep of the hotel. An elevator wasn’t working properly and it took time until they fixed it. The toilet seat was broken and even though we informed them in the morning it wasn’t fixed by the evening.

I liked the staff in particular David, and the other member of staff who came to my aid. Lovely room with a spectacular view of Haifa. Great amenities, although you can tell the place isn’t in the best condition (shower sprays, broken sink plug - which was fixed). Nice selection for breakfast, though not many vegan options. Would liked to have had a pool outside!

The service was very good, but the hotel is not clean, they gave me a bad room, very close to a next Bar which has a high volume, because I was alone, they do not give me a good room. as well the room was very unclean, and the Cushions were very stinky. the bathroom is not safe!

The room was comfy and spacious. The hotel allowed us to leave our luggage with them before check in. The swimming pool was great. The breakfast was great. Our only issue was that the bar wasn’t staffed and when it was staffed they didn’t have a good selection ie didn’t ice tonic so couldn’t have. Gin and tonic.

Good hotel- TERRIBLE NIGHT RECEPTIONIST

After travelling all these years, I have met the rudest hotel receptionist in my life. I’ve booked in this hotel for 4 days and on my last night, 26th of May, we were asked to come on the reception and “have our id’s copied” despite I have done mine already. My bf, who is an Israeli, come to the hotel only on the last day of booking so I asked him to go down. It might be that they want ID and also I was tired as it was 11 pm at night. To our surprise, this receptionist was trying to wrongly charge my BF 830 Nis for “VAT”, as an israel citizen. My BF had to come back to our room to get his credit card pin, he was just planing to pay it to get over with it as the receptionist was “disgusting” (my bf’s words) to him. Upon knowing this, I called back the receptionist and my god my bf is right. At 11.30 PM he insisted that we come down to pay the 830, accusing us of not wanting to pay, raised his voice and eventually threatened us of sending the security manager in our room (which never happened). But imagine the stress we went through. I told him call your manager and I will only talk to him, he said he was the hotel’s “vice-manager”- good for him, bad for the hotel and costumers. We waited the next day and I came to the hotel-desk 1st thing in the morning and ask for their manager, enraged of course. They were very understanding and apologetic of what I went through with the night receptionist. The VAT turned out to be 116.98 only, not 830 he was trying to haggle from us.

My only complaint was the booking through Expedia. They did not follow through with my query 48 hours prior to my arrival. Finally after making another booking for the correct night the manager of the hotel rang to apologise and re-instate the original booking at a cheaper price and gave me an upgrade to a sea front room. Thank you to the manager but I will think twice before booking again with Expedia.
The hotel was lovely, breakfast was enjoyable and the view cannot be matched.

Hotel conveniently located at the top of Mt. Carmel (Carmel Markaz), in close proximity to restaurants, grocery store, and upper terraces of the Baha’i gardens. Hotel staff are lovely. We had 2 adjoining rooms for a family of 4, so plenty of space, but the rooms, even though clean with non-carpeted floors, are dated and due for renovations. The breakfast buffet was sumptuous.

I stayed at the Crowne Plaza Haifa for 2 nights in May 2019. The front desk staff was extremely accommodating: since I had difficulty getting to the hotel on my own, the woman at reception upgraded my room and gave me breakfast at 50% off. The breakfast buffet was amazing! All sorts of hot and cold dishes, fresh squeezed orange juice, excellent service. The room was large (by Israeli standards), with an extremely comfortable king sized bed. The hotel is unusual in that when you enter the lobby you’re on the 9th floor - so I had to take the glass elevator DOWN to my room on the 7th floor. The atrium lobby is very attractive.

Hotel conveniently located view from the window is great. Comfortable room, clean, very good service.
Front desk is extremely helpful. Especially dealing with the Ramy one of the front desk representatives. Always wiling and ready to help. Tasty breakfasts served in very nice restaurant. Staff is extremely helpful and nice.
We stay there for 12 nights and enjoy our stay every day. Felt like home.

There was no room available when we reached the hotel. They blamed their corporate for overbooking. The hotel manager directed us to a small hotel. They arranged for a cab. That was kind. They promised to refund the payment immediately. After 35 days and follow up emails, no response from them yet. It’s very unprofessional.

Excellent address in Haifa, with an indoor pool and a sauna/jacuzzi. The bar at lobby level is a great place in the evening, and there is a kosher restaurant 100 meters from the hotel. Would recommend.

This hotel is badly in need of updating. Not just the lobby but the room was particularly dated. Plus the a/c was on the coldest setting but blew hot air all night. Couldn't get the window to open so we were suffocating b/c once the room got hot there was not way to clear out the air.
The bathroom - extremely dangerous tub you have to climb into - side of tub measures approximately over 2' high! No place to grab onto when exiting the tub. So dangerous. Bathroom floor is slippery when not wet.
Decor in the bathroom - tissue box permanently attached (in case of theft); artificial flower. ugh.
Floor of bedroom is fake wood and the floor boards don't fit so spaces between them and floor boards move when you walk.

Kosher Hotel With a Great View

The room was comfortable and the views of Haifa outstanding. Breakfast was good, but other dining options minimal and not so good. The pool area was not very pleasant and the changing rooms were tiny. This is a kosher hotel and it accommodates Sabbath keepers, so if that is important to you it is a good option.

Stayed here at my brother's suggestion and I could not have been happier. Had a very nice room with a view over the harbor. The Israeli breakfast stokes you with enough calories for a day of splitting wood. Staff were so helpful.

Fabulous hotel! The underground parking is fairly nice, and the interior of the hotel is gorgeous and clean. Extremely helpful staff and good room service. Breakfast was incredible with views of the Haifa port, and our room was lovely with a gorgeous bathroom.

This is a classic branded-chain hotel for business travelers, specialized in jewish market.
But honestly I cannot complain a single second.
The service was quick, efficient and polite. Delicious breakfast. Decent parking. We got a beautiful upgraded room which was very comfortable. The only down is the fare they charge for using the fitness facilities.
In sum, it was a good stay.

so much better to reserve this hotel via Expedia. Central reservations for this hotel is terrible, beware of misleading cancellation policy. Was directed to hotel website upon calling into the front desk, led to misleading process. Make reservation thru Expedia for increased flexibility, superior customer service, and straightforward process.
