While the hotel is older than the more modern hotels, do not let that fool you. Right from walking into the hotel, we felt like home. The rooms were clean and the room we had was spacious. The bathroom had obviously been redone as it was clean and fresh.

We had a great stay at this hotel. We are a family of 6 and our room was big enough for all of us and our bags. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk to Munich main train station and about 15 minutes walk to MarienPlatz. Lots of eating options around the hotel. I would stay there again!

The photos of the room online do not look the same at the real rooms. The surrounding area feels unsafe and dirty. A 20 minute walk east and all the hotels and areas are clean, feel safe and close to the Christmas markets. Would not recommend to any of our friends.

This is an older hotel. Parking isn't great, lots of construction was going on in the neighborhood. The hotel was very quiet though. Breakfast was an additional expense of $14 which was worth it, a very nice buffet. We arrived later than expected but check-in was a breeze. The room was fair sized but bathroom was surprisingly large. Bonus: the hotel was within walking distance to central train station. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Affordable decent stay in Munich
The young lady at the front desk was so wonderful and helpful. We did not do any research so wasn’t aware there was no air-conditioning in Munich city center unless you did a really really expensive hotel but they provided four fans which helped a lot and made it comfortable being from the states and the south we are used to the air. Other than that, the place was safe comfortable had a decent breakfast and great coffee. It is in an area that has some people standing out smoking and little convenient stores, but that was no bother and it’s right off the beaten path so it wasn’t loud but so close to everything to walk

Great for a short stay, but wouldn’t recommend for a longer trip. The room was spacious and clean, but was stifling without air conditioning. They provided fans, but the window faced a courtyard so there was not much of a breeze at night. Parking was offsite and they gave us a voucher to cover about half of the cost. Neighborhood was very walkable and just to the left of the hotel is an amazing place for breakfast called Cafe and Backerie Maurer. The food was delicious (pancakes, eggs, bagels etc.) and more economical than breakfast at the hotel. Staff was friendly.

Very basic accommodation. It was clean but there was a strong smell of smoke in the hallway outside our non smoking room and the bathroom smelled like sewer. There was no AC which I didn’t notice when I booked and probably would have been fine if there hadn’t been a heatwave. There was a fan in the room and we opened the windows but it was pretty hot and miserable. The street is a little sketchy with lots of hookah lounges. The front desk staff was friendly.

The block the hotel is on is ok, but don’t stray in the wrong direction with the family. There are multiple strip clubs on one block and saw a drug deal going on.

We had a family room- there were 4 of us and we were very comfortable. Easy walk from the train station. Quiet and clean with a lovely staff and excellent shower! Only negative about the neighborhood is that here are many hooka bars, so walking around the hotel can get v a bit Smokey- but not too bad. Would definitely recommend.

This was a really nice property to stay in! The weather was cool, so the lack of AC didn't really affect us, but the fact that they provided a fan was really nice. The only complaints we have were that 1) the shower seemed to leak (this was not a big deal though), and 2) it is a 20-minute walk from the Marienplatz, and the area it is in feels a little rough to be walking through a lot. So we took a lot of ubers and taxis. But it is very close to the train station, and the stay itself was lovely. Would definitely stay here again.

This is a lovely hotel and quite walkable to the main train station, where you can catch trains, buses, and trams to get anywhere in the city or to/from the airport. There are plenty of places to eat very nearby as well. Felt very safe, very clean, and a nice family place to stay while in Munich.

The hotel is exactly what you expect for the price, everything nice, clean and serviceable but nothing fancy. It’s a really great location for the Christmas markets. Again it’s not the fanciest area of Munich and there’s what looks like some kind of strip joint round the corner, but we felt perfectly safe wandering around even late at night and were able to walk to everything. It’s also only about 10 minutes walk to the S station for the train to the airport. There’s not tea and coffee making facilities in the room but reception is open 24h and they’ll give you a hot drink for around €2. They also lent us a kettle. We didn’t have breakfast but it looked nice.

Great location at an affordable price. The front desk staff was pushy about showing all of the passports for a group of 8 before giving us the keys when only half of our party had arrived. They said it was a law and we could all get fined but it was quite an annoying initial experience when the group that arrived first was tired and ready to get settled in. We stayed during July in the \"multiple bed\" suit. It was clean and there was enough comfy beds for 5 people. However, it was very hot and the hotel does not have the air conditioner. Our room had only one window, the staff gave us several fans, but it still was very hot at night. Breakfast (if you like european style) was great. The hotel has good location, you can walk to many main attractions, but it is near main train station which is not the best (cleanest) part of town.

This hotel is very close to all the things you would want to see in Munich. There is also an elevator in case you are carrying your luggage. It was just what we needed. If you have trouble storing your bags at the main train station, consider using Happy Safe Storage. It is conveniently located between this hotel and the main train station. It was affordable and clean, and we were lucky to find it. Book with confidence!

The location of the hotel is very central, so obviously a bit noisy. The room was as expected, We had a large family room, a bit warm as it had no aircondition. The most remarkable was the service level, the staff was very friendly, and this was one of the few places in Germany I have met service staff who actually talked and smiled and looked like they enjoyed welcomming guests. If the room had A/C I would be happy to stay there again, but Will probably not choose it in the warmest summertime.
