Parking is absolutely horrible. You are not permitted to park before check in. The only option is to either park illegally, or have someone with you to check in and get the room card which is used for the parking as well.

Leaving the garage is even worse as you have to go through a very tight passage, then up a tight turning ramp. Once at the top you have to leave your car, open the garage door, then move your car out, park it again, get out and close the garage.

This alone ruined the stay for me, but on top of this the thermostat in the room kept turning off. It would hit for example 23c once, shut off, and never maintain that temperature which causes waking up in the night cold.

I stayed at Buddy Hotel Munich for five nights and overall had a decent experience. Check‑in was efficient, and the receptionist provided all the information I needed, though his manner felt quite cold and not very welcoming.

The room itself was clean, modern, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay — a good bed, a coffee machine, and an excellent shower. For the first four nights it was very peaceful, and I genuinely thought the rooms were soundproof. Unfortunately, on my last night I had a very noisy neighbour, and I could hear them snoring through the wall, which affected the final impression a bit.

The area immediately outside the hotel felt a little dodgy at times, so it’s worth being aware of your surroundings, especially in the evenings. That said, the location is extremely convenient: plenty of supermarkets, shops, and places to eat nearby, and very close to stations for airport transfers and day trips around Munich.

Overall, it was a comfortable and practical base for exploring the city, with just a couple of things that could be improved.

Perfect location, about 10 minute walk to the train station. Room is tiny but suitable for solo travelers. Simple amenities. Only turnoff was the guy at the desk, his name is German. His customer skills could use some help!!! By the way, New Year’s Eve, no hot water???

Good for a stay to be up early on the train to the airport. Caters to a younger crowd. Safe, clean and enough space. Bed was hard and only one pillow. Quiet. Not horribly far from Christmas markets but I would not stay here for that. Main train station isn't far.

Room was amazing! It's super small and cozy, but all made to take advantage of the small space. You don't have a lot of room, but everything is so strategically placed, that is very cozy! I loved being there! Staff was super friendly, and location is great, right in the middle of everything, and super close to the subway.
I was very impressed and even got a few ideas to optimize my house!

Perfect location - just 15mins walk from main attractions, and 5mins walk from Hauptbahnof. Rooms are clean, nice snacks to grab for breakfast. Air conditioning is good, coffee machine was working ok. The only issue was that room was small but thats fine if you came fot active travel, and not planning to spend most of your time in hotel. Overall was perfevt for this price and location, recommending to book.

The space was very well designed allowing for all the amenities needed in a compact space. The room was clean and the appliances were new. The location was perfect! Right at the main plaza, next to the bus tours and just feet away from the train station. Having a Nespresso in the room and fresh baked pretzels every morning was a lovely bonus.

The check in and check out is Ultra fast. The location is excellent. Hotel is very clean and the rooms are brilliantly furnished. But the autopark situation is awful. It says there is autopark but never available for two days. I paid 45E Euros per day for Autoparking outside in Parkhaus. If you have a car, i don't reccommend. But if you are without car, this is an excellent hotel which i will be revisiting again.

Very well situated. If you ever want to do one of those day trip, the bus station is directly in front of the door. Marienplatz is about 7 min of walk on across the streets. Subway and tram station at the door step too. The room was clean and yes, small, but that fact was already clear when I booked the hotel. The two small downfalls are: a) there is no mini fridg in the room, which makes it hard to do a small grocery if you stay for many days like I did, and b) my shower was kind of a design nightmare. I had to either turn on the faucet, splash some water outside the shower and on the exterior of the shower door while it warms up (and it can take a while depending of how many guests used the warm water... I had to crank mine to 100% hot water) or cramp myself in the opposite corner of the shower, get splashed by cold water, but have the door close. Basically, the shower door opens on the inside instead of the outside which would be logical for such a small place. Would still recommend.

Check in time was very strict despite the room availability. Early access costs 20 Euros. Central air conditioning was 30C in October ( pretty hot).
Reception staff were generally friendly except one who was very strict and unfriendly on most occasions. Access to the room was cancelled early on the morning of our last day even before checkout.
Bathroom shutter was not working for the length of our stay. Morning snacks were very nice and delicious.

This is the perfect hotel if you have booked excursions from Munich. It is near the area the tour buses depart from, and there is a train station directly in front of the building. It’s located on a busy street, so it’s a bit loud.

Right beside the train station! Some of the reviews had me worried this was going to have a hostel vibe, but I thought it was lovely. Clean, new facilities. Some reviews said the rooms were too small: Book a Marriott if that's what you're looking for. We came from a bunch of boutique hotels in Italy before our stop in Munich and I can safely say our Double Room here was the biggest hotel we stayed in on this trip. Service staff were so lovely.

The hotel has a central location, close to Karlsplatz metro station with a direct S8 link from the airport. The staff were efficient in dealing with my luggage locker request (2 euros, secure room in the basement, reached by a lift). Helpful was the grab-and-go breakfast and free coffee pods. The room was small but well equipped with wifi, hair dryer, TV. But my concern is the noise coming from the homeless vagrants who either sleep in doorways (including this hotel's) and the long-closed department store next door. This issue should be looked into by the hotel owners with the authorities.

We were able to get a parking spot in the hotel's garage for a rate cheaper than all of the nearby parking. The check-in process was super easy and the area is full of things to do if you are visiting Munich. We had a triple room and it was amazing with a skylight that opened. The bathroom was very modern and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Extremely convenient location for the center of Munich and public transport. Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Shower cubicle was spacious, too. The coffee maker in the room was much appreciated (I would say, buy your own capsules as the quality was soso) Being able to pick up some baked goods was an added bonus if you are up early enough. I would definitely stay there again.

Really nice hotel beautifully renovated and very comfortable for the price range. Service was very quick and very helpful.

We arrived late at 10pm, and were unfortunately greeted outside the entrance by a homeless man high and was uncommunicative and made entering the building difficult.

First impressions was poor due to that, but once inside we were very impressed. Despite our encounter I would recommend this hotel.

Close to the old town Centre and main railway station was good.We were their in spring and weather was cold and central heating was turned off for summer and air conditioning doesn’t heat so it was too cold in the room and external shutter in our room did not work and staff not very interested in arranging repairs.
