Well kept rooms, good breakfast (including bacon and eggs!), fantastic location, two min walk to subway, 7-10 min walk to Marienplatz (main town square). Several restaurants in the immediate area as well. Will happily stay again when next in Munich!

Generally fine if you go in with 2.5-star rather than 4-star expectations. Breakfast was good. The room was decent and the bed itself was comfortable, though the lack of carpet made it feel a bit cold in winter and the pillows weren’t great. The hotel places a strong emphasis on being eco-friendly, to the point that instead of making up the room they actually unmake the bed, leaving a folded duvet at the end for you to remake it yourself, along with a reminder about how not servicing the room is more eco-friendly. The location, however, is very good.

The hotel is walkable to restaurants, shops, Christmas Markets, the Underground and the train system. The front desk staff were all very helpful with our questions about the different transportation lines. Our room was always too hot for us, even though it was December, but that was due to German energy regulations, not the fault of the hotel. The windows open so we just kept it open. Breakfast was good, but the same each day.

This hotel is not a 4 star hotel. For the high price that was paid it is very basic. The rooms are dated, not well lit and the shower drainage was slow so it kept backing up so we had to shower with very low water pressure to avoid backup. I will say it is in a convenient and quiet location which is a short walk from main attractions.

First we were greeted by Dominic who was so friendly and helpful. I needed an extra room on arrival and I got the last one. He shared info about the area and gave us good directions. The room was adorable and the beds were amazing. The shower was hot and had great pressure. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was nice to have a parking garage so we didn't have to worry about finding parking.

The good:
-Staff was extremely friendly: from front desk to housekeeping and restaurant staff. Excellent service.
-Room was big and clean, like a service apartment with small living room, bed room and 2 toilets.
-Unbeatable location. Minutes walk to Marienplatz city square and Viktualienmarkt. 3 min walk to the S-bahn station. Bars and restaurants at doorstep (Hofbräuhaus is 3min walk)

The bad:
-Wifi was almost non-existent. Had 2 to choose from and both equally bad.
-Hotel is old although the room looks modern.
-Extremely small lift, cant fit more than 2 people at a time. It seems the lift cannot stop at all levels so if this is a concern you would need to request in advance.

Overall great place and would stay again given the chance.

But when we arrived i was told there is no parking available we had to find a parking garage for $45 dollars a day.
