Good location if happy walking a little bit to the centre 18 minutes, not too busy. Lots of restaurants around. English garden is closed by. The staff were helpful and it was very clean.

Upon check in I found the receptionist to be very friendly and helpful. The check in was smooth. The hotel is close the the subway and bus lines. It is also within walking distance to many tourist attractions.
The breakfast was healthy with plenty of options.
The room was large enough and the bathroom was huge. It would have been better with a microwave.
Overall, I thought our stay was pleasant.

Good location to reach many of the main attractions. Hotel is clean and rooms are a decent size for European standards. The whole hotel is very dated though. Red carpets. Yellow walls. No frills at all. No gym. Not even an ice
Machine but overall it’s a good cheap stay for those that are only in the room to sleep.

A comfortable little business hotel in a quiet residential area just a couple of U-Bahn stops from the Munich HBF. Clean, excellent breakfast, rooms were small but clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that it’s an old European building, so while there is an elevator you have to walk up or down a half a flight of stairs to get to it, so you have to lug your bags a little bit.

Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned everyday, only thing that let it down was the tea that was left in the room was earl grey or camomile. Loved that the W.C was separate from the shower room. Bed was super comfortable, our room was on the main road but you could not hear any traffic. would definitely return to this hotel.

Hotel Adria is a very nice hotel with basic amenities and an extremely convenient location. Their staff is very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a little older but very clean and comforting. The breakfast every morning is excellent. Ive stayed here twice and have enjoyed both visits to this hotel and Munich. The Lehel area is very nice and Hotel Adria is only about a block from the Ubahn. There are many places nearby for dining out as well as a small market.

Comfortable beds, staff friendly and helpful. I don’t have the breakfast because I thought it was expensive. There are great bakeries and groceries a block away that supplied us with a great breakfast. Place was in a great location, convenient, safe, close to everything including five minutes walk to subway stop. Room was fairly clean although I noticed a shampoo drip on the wall. Overall I was pleased with our stay while in Munich!

We stayed in the Hotel Adria during Oktoberfest because it was the least expensive option we could find in Munich. It was a perfectly serviceable place to stay - nothing fancy or extravagant but the room was clean and the neighborhood felt safe and was close to an U bahn station and a 15 min walk to the old town. There were a few inconsistencies with housekeeping (sometimes we got coffee and cups, other times not, sometimes they replaced towels and other times not) but staff was always friendly when we asked for things we needed. I would not call it an accessible building (there are elevators but not to every level) so make sure you’re OK with some stairs. Staff did not offer to help us with our bags so make sure you’re comfortable getting your luggage up at least a flight or 2 of stairs on your own. Also the breakfast was quite expensive but there are a few lovely cafes nearby so I recommend skipping the breakfast and finding something in the neighborhood.

The front desk lady who helped us with everything was amazing; she was so kind and provided us with many suggestions for our Oktoberfest trip. The train is literally only 2 turns away from this hotel so it is very convenient if you are going for Oktoberfest. Location cannot be beat! The hotel breakfast was delicious.
The hotel itself is a bit outdated and the towels we were given to shower were all ripped. The towels had large holes in them, and there were no toiletries in the bathroom but instead available at the front desk.
Overall, I would stay here again for the convenience and accessibility to the train.

You need to climb lots of stairs at this property. With luggage this can be a big problem. While it has an elevator, it only goes to half way between each floor. Thus you have to drag your luggage up or down 6-8 steps no matter what floor you are on. With heavy suitcases this was no fun.

When we first checked in, we were put in Room 509. Unfortunately, from that room you can hear the elevator quite loudly every time it operates and I was unable to sleep. The staff was kind enough to move us to a Lower floor which was much better.

The room is clean and the hotel is located close enough to a Metro stop. My big gripe was being informed breakfast cost 18 Euros/person upon checkout. We just traveled quite a bit through France and Germany- that was the most expensive breakfast on our trip. The previous two places we stayed in Germany, it was included. Nothing was said until we checked out. While the breakfast spread was pretty good, with a family of four and kids just having a croissant and glass of juice, this was way too much money for breakfast for multiple days. We were never informed when we checked in, etc. The staff was unapologetic. Buyer beware. There is a much better bakery literally 30 steps out the front door. Getting hit with that extra bill was a major drag on the way out the door. Do better with transparency Hotel Adria.

This is a really great location to all areas of Munich, including Marienplatz. We enjoyed our stay so much. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and spacious. However, there is no air conditioning, so not ideal if you're travelling in summer months. The fans provided are loud.

Nice sized hotel in a quiet residential area close to English Gardens park, underground station and many small cafes and restaurants.
Rooms were good sized, clean and well decorated.
Breakfast was great, we didn’t include it in our original booking but added it afterwards. Much wider choice here than many other hotels offering continental breakfast. Bread tasted fresh and good variety of fruit and meat.
Staff were very helpful and spoke very good English and willing to offer advice of where to go.
We had two rooms, one with AC and one without. Got a little hot during the heatwave in the room without AC but helped being able to open windows in a quiet area without noise disturbance.
Would recommend this hotel to couples and families and we would definitely return here if we are able to come back to Munich.

Loved this quaint hotel and location! Our first time to Germany and loved location of this property - in a safe and quiet neighborhood, but close to great restaurants and the train station (Lehel Cafe for morning coffee was our favorite!!). Easy walk to English Garden and Marienplatz. Staff was great!
Only things you may want to know prior to booking: not all rooms have A/C (if any)...ours did not and while it was tolerable with windows open and provided fans, the high was only around 80 with cool nights...not sure it would be tolerable in summer! Second, you must be able to go up/down about 20 stairs minimum...even to get to the \"elevator\", which is tiny and in between floors...you actually have to climb about 30 stairs to get to \"first floor\", which is above reception. Again, no issue for us, but could be for others with strollers or mobility issues. We did not eat the breakfast, as it was not included and we are not morning eaters.

The room was large enough for our family of four. The hotel was very clean and centrally located and the staff members were very friendly and accommodating. We stored our luggage there the day we checked in and out which was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious and the staff members that prepared it were very attentive. A nice stay in Munich - walkable to Old Town

I needed a bare-bones room for my son and I - and this had two separate bedrooms (each with a twin bed) so it worked out fine. It also had a sleeper in the living room that we didn't need - showers in each room but only 1 toilet - off the living room, so that was a little odd to have two showers and only one true toilet. Overall I'd stay again. The room had no view - but I did get another room for my daughter and her husband - that had a great view and was also a nice 'single' room with a full bed.

Great little hotel!

This is a very cute hotel within walking distance to the center of Munich. Close to metro and great location! Several restaurants within walking distance. They do not have a restaurant or bar attached to the hotel, unfortunately. There is no A/C but we visited in mid-October so leaving the window open made it comfortable but the noise of the tram and church bells require some earplugs. We received a room on the top floor which had amazing views of all the churches in Munich as well as the Alps (on a clear day). The reception staff was very nice and helpful, albeit a bit cold but that is the German way so it was nice! :) They do have an elevator but you are still required to go up/down some stairs, I wouldn't think it is very handicapped friendly, but we are not so I'm not sure if they can accommodate anyone in a wheelchair, from another entrance perhaps? But I didn't see one. My only real complaint (and it is so tiny, we really enjoyed our stay) was that the daily cleaning crew did not restock the instant coffee. I did ask the reception desk on my way out one morning and they did make sure it got restocked as well as leaving a bottle of water, which was very nice. This is a great hotel for the price if you want to stay close to the attractions but far enough away that you don't 1. spend an arm and a leg and 2. aren't on top of the attractions.

Only issue is that the heaters would not work. It was early October and getting a little chilly. After speaking to the front desk I got the impression that they were not yet ready to power up the steam fed radiators. For $385 a night, I think they should have.

We had a great three day stay here. The property is so cute and clean ! It was a sweet neighborhood with shops , cafes, and restaurants to choose from.

While the property Does have an elevator, it is not handicap accessible. You must navigate entry floors, and a flight up to the elevator and then a flight down to your floor.
I use a cane and was able to handle it all. But definitely not wheelchair accessible.

Also, the property offers a beautiful breakfast buffet, great for your big eaters. We are both small bowl of oats people, so it was too much for us to enjoy.

There is a well stocked vending machine as well.

A beautiful highlight is that it is just blocks from the area in The English Gardens where the surfers gather ! Definitely check them out.

Property was clean and in good condition. Front desk was of great help. Parking is public on the street and caused us some stress although after driving around for a while we did eventually found a spot. One recommendation would be for the hotel to communicate other options & locations of parking ramps, etc. We had the breakfast one morning and it is wee done. You can tell the breakfast staff really cares about their service. Nice hotel, good location, definitely would stay again.

PS - check out the surfers in the park 2-3 blocks away.

Very good service. Needed some laundry and they had it back to us in several hours. It was a warm time of year and the open windows and fan were not enough to cool the room at night. Just be advised if you are people Reno lime cooler temps to sleep. Very good location & quiet overall.
