Staff were not really forthcoming on check in ( declined 2 hour early check although rooms were available- I then remembered that I had a Hilton honours card and check in went ahead) , extra charge for bag drop while unable to check in. Given my hotel bill was over 3000 $ I would expect a little bit more. Breakfast buffet was good.

Great location for Oktoberfest. My room was comfortable with a great view. However, I encountered some issues during my stay. The phone in the room was not working, our key cards would work on and off, and my room was not equipped with robes or a laundry bag. When I notified the front desk staff they said they would send someone to fix the phone. It never happened. Because of the phone issue, I wasn’t able to get laundry service. The front desk staff didn’t even try to rectify the situation at all. I expected more, at least better service from such a highly regarded hotel brand.

This is our second time at this property and it met our expectations. However, I would say the rooms are in need of major updating. The rooms feel old with less than perfect floor coverings and amenities.

The staff were very nice and helpful as always. The amenities were good but not great. Just a typical Hilton hotel.

Been honest this hotel has well trained 4 star staff, they are friendly and make you feel happy but on the other hand the hotel is old and don’t deserve the 4 star status. The biggest problem is the bathroom it has mold in several places inside the shower and rooms are not well maintained. They compensated it by providing free breakfast and parking. However this is not enough considering the price you pay. You can get newer hotels for same money value.

It right by upgrading our room to an executive suite which included the executive lounge with free breakfast which was extensive and wonderful! We were able to rent bikes for 3 full days at a greatly reduced rate and had an absolute wonderful time! Hotel is located close to English Garden and fun to ride bikes through. Bike lanes on streets made transporting wonderful! Beautiful hotel and excellent staff! Highly recommend and would stay again.

Dining room closed for lunch (don't know if we had bad luck but we weren't able to get lunch on the day we arrived). The staff at the Hilton Park Munich were fantastic, everyone from the manager to the cleaner was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the cleanliness of our room on arrival, but this was rectified by the manager (Gokmen) who gave us complimentary room service as compensation for the inconvenience. The breakfasts were fantastic, the food was excellent and the staff super friendly, especially Barbara who looked after us on 3 mornings, she was always bright and friendly and remembered our drinks from the previous day, which made us feel very welcome.
The hotel itself was built in 1972 and is tired in places, I understand that it is due for a refurbishment in the next year or so. The location is great for the English Garden and is walkable to the centre of Munich in about 25 minutes. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay, David and Tyler.

They had run out of twin rooms which we had booked, so they upgraded our 7 twin rooms to 14 queen rooms and included breakfast for free. Fantastic customer service. Would highly recommend staying here if you visit Munich.

The hotel was pleasant with large, well furnished rooms. We had adjoining rooms and the air conditioning didn’t function in one of them. It wasn’t repaired during our stay, but they did provide a fan.

The hotel is right next to the Englisher Garden and about a 30 minute walk from the U-Bahn through the garden.

Breakfast was good with a wide range of options.


My main gripe was that when we checked it we were told we’d need to book the pool in advance - and basically we might not be able to use it as it’s small and there’s high demand. That was disappointing as we didn’t want to be tied to a fixed time slot, but it would have been nice to be able to use it as and when we desired.

Honestly, I didn’t love this place. The staff was fantastic, but the property itself was a bit dated. I felt like I was in a hotel from the 1970s.
Also, again, it was really hard to get anywhere. He had to take a taxi for example to get to the center of town I’m sure you could walk but the taxi itself would be a hard 2025 minutes.
The staff was incredible though all of them from the butcher or the baker to the candlestick maker

Convinient hotel but be careful with no show fees

Hotel was very convenient to go to Allianz arena. Rooms are spacious and clean. Connected rooms are a must for families and they have good options. Food was ok and ambient is fine as well. The only issue was that they charged me with a no show fee just because I didn't tell them in advance that I would arrive earlier the next day. I don't find fare to get a penalty for something that you paid in advance.

Hotel rooms are nice and spacious. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Location is not the best if you are looking for a quick access to transportation. There is a buss that stops right in front of the hotel and after 5 stops you can access the U trains. 6 euro for a bottle of water is crazy, but tap water in Munich is drinkable, so don’t waste your money.

Pros - The staff were very attentive and the hotel was very clean.
Cons - The lifts need to be recalibrated. They seem to have a mind of their own and you could go up and down several times before arriving on the correct floor. At least one lift was out of order for the entirety of our 4 night stay and a second lift was out of order for at least the third day, causing some long delays in waiting for a lift.
The mattress on our bed was very stiff and uncomfortable.
I found food and drink at the hotel to be very expensive - €4 for a bottle of water, €29 for breakfast! - It feels as though they were taking advantage of there not being many places to get food and drink in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Probably the worst customer service Ive ever recieved. Checking in we recieved absolutely no information about the hotel facilities. Nothing was organized for us, for example parking. The first morning there was not enough spaces for breakfast, so we were sat in the lobby with FAR less choice for the same price. The hostess checking people in to breakfast on the second day was immensely rude. Booked a room with a balcony to see the fireworks. Was put on a lower floor so couldn't actually see them. I booked this months ago. I should've been given a better room. Extremely disappointing. The bed was rock hard. The pillows were comfortable though. Any engagement with reception took a ridiculously long time. They even served other people who just arrived and pushed in line, before people who had been waiting. I doubt I'll bother with staying at any Hilton again.

I was stuck in the hotel whilst there was a snow storm - my only issues were the bed was very hard and the pillows very uncomfortable. On a side note the hotel is not very central and made it impossible to do anything.

Away from the city and quiet. But a quick walk through the English Garden to the city center to get ready for the day!

Staff was excellent! The biggest downside is that when booking through Expedia a cancellable reservation really isn’t. So be solid of your plans before you book and don’t pay extra for a cancellable reservation since it really can’t be.

The staff at this property were inconsistent and may need additional training. At check-in, I requested to merge two reservations. I was told my options were to 1) check out and check back in again during my stay or 2) I could merge my reservations for a fee. I opted for option #2, to avoid disrupting my trip. I was still locked out of my room the day my original reservation ended, so I did not save any time in the long run. The night before my flight out of Munich, house keeping kept calling me to check on me? I had just spoken with the front desk a few hours prior, and I feel that it's inappropriate to repeatedly call a quest at night time. If the \"do not disturb\" sign is up, how is that an invitation to call someone repeatedly after dark? Finally, I prepaid for my room reservations, and they still tried to charge me again. I don't trust that this is worked out, so I will need to monitor the situation closely. All in all, I felt this hotel was quite disorganized. There are nicer hotels in better locations in Munich.

Came to Munich for Oktoberfest, this hotel was perfect for us. Right next to the English Gardens, we walked there every day and thoroughly enjoyed the beer gardens. It was about 3 miles to the frstival grounds and just over a mile to the old town. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was delicious. We will definitely stay here again!

Location not ideal for tourists. There is a bus stop, if you know how to navigate the bus system. Nice lobby, breakfast buffet was expensive. We are not big breakfast eaters. We decided to order off the breakfast menu - yogurt with fruit, oatmeal and one of our family wanted 2 eggs with bacon. Took several \"asks\" to get a menu and more than 40 minutes later got our food. We would have been satisfied if they had simply gone to the buffet and brought us the food from there!

Christmas markets with toddler

Overall it's a very nice hotel. Great location (not central but with easy connections), beautifully decorated for Christmas, really nice food and great service at the restaurant / bar (they really went out of their way to make our toddler and us feel special). It was quite busy during our stay so unfortunately reception and housekeeping were not as good as we would expect them to be at this type of the hotel (receptionalways crowded, mistakes made by them to our credit card, coffee/tea/ cream not restocked in room, cups not changed - little but annoying things :) But we would still come back and stay there again :)

I booked 2 rooms for a family stay, they put the two rooms on different floors, I complained and they said \"sorry we are all booked up\". The restrooms in the lobby were broken. Parking to drop bags was impossible. The Bell hops just tossed our luggage on the floor and left. Poor customer service from beginning to end
