Lovely little hotel. Has everything you need and is in a good location. The rooms are a little warm and stuffy at night, so I had to open the window.
I found having a single duvet on a double bed a little strange.
The breakfasts are excellent.

Lovely hotel.

Hotel is lovely snd in a great area of Munich for the English garden, the U-bahn, restaurant and bars. The room was very comfortable but a bit too hot. The shower configuration was a little odd as it got the floor wet.

Wie soll ich es bewerten???

Zimmer und die Umgebung sind sehr schön, das Hotel sehr ansprechend und die Mitarbeiter sehr bemüht. Zimmer hatte die ganze Nacht ein klopfen was auf die Lüftung geschoben wurde und vorerst nicht beseitigt werden konnte. Nicht schön war aber die Tatsache, dass die Fernseher Fernbedienung gefehlt hatte. Mir wurde gesagt, dass sie mir gebracht wird. Das Ende vom Lied war, dass der Portiere von 22 bis 0:30 Uhr VIER mal vorbei gekommen ist, immer mit einer anderen Fernbedienung die nicht funktioniert hat und ich so nicht schlafen konnte. War stets bemüht, hat nix gebracht. Nicht einmal einen Kaffee hab ich bekommen als Entschuldigung.

The staff at the hotel were very helpful in getting us settled quickly after a long night of traveling. They also assisted in resolving any transportation or entertainment questions we had. Hotel muito bem localizado e confortável, em um bairro silencioso mas com vários restaurantes, cafés e mercado, e perto de transporte público. Great hotel, the location, the staff, very nice. Only downside was the A/C unit, it was a bit awkward with the end of the hose to the unit hanigng outside the door/window. Didn't feel comfortable keeping it open all night. Overall, very happy with our stay. Thank you.

Nice hotel in a good location, comfy bed and loved the sink and vanity unit however the hotel has a few down sides, the rooms are too hot even in freezing weather outside, lighting is the room was poor, one of the lamps was broken and the shower was temperamental.
Reception bar area was being decorated which was a bit unsightly as otherwise cool decor.
I would have preferred a breakfast buffet as ordering of a menu was awkward.

I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel has a boutique atmosphere with nice design features, especially in the bar area. The staff were welcoming and helped me with travel advice. My room was compact but comfortable and had a bonus balcony. The hotel is in an amazing area with tons of cute shops and neighbourhood restaurants. It was a real bonus. Marienplatz is only a few stops on the tube or a nice walk away.

Only stayed here for the 1 night as I was here for the football, but this is the softest and warmest bed I’ve ever slept in in any hotel anywhere. Absolutely wonderful. Huge room, with under floor heating in the bathroom and entrance way. Good Wi-fi speed and connection. No complaints from me whatsoever. Would very happily stay here again.

The hotel didn't have proper air conditioning in the room. The day I arrived it was 90 degrees farenheit and the room was so hot. They provided a portable AC unit but, the balcony door had to stay open for the condensor which obviously didn't do much to cool the room.

We adore this hotel, it’s staff and it’s location! It’s in a quiet area, but within easy walking distance to tons of great restaurants and shops. The staff is beyond spectacular and the breakfast is the best we’ve ever had in our 31 years of traveling/living in Europe! I do wish they had A/C in the rooms, as they can get a bit stuffy, but we solved the problem by making sure that we book a suite with balcony (extra ventilation ;-)

Our new favorite hotel in Germany!

Our hotel stay at La Maison was unfortunately only for one night. It was one of the best nights we have had at any hotel in Europe in 32 years. The hotel is decorated beautifully with a romantic French boho feel. Our room was quiet and comfortable, and went completely dark with the shutters drawn. The shower and deep soaking tub were wonderful, and the Bvlgari toiletries added a luxurious touch, while the beds were made up with the softest hotel linens that we have ever encountered. Service at the desk and throughout the hotel was unparalleled, and the breakfast was exceptional. Parking is very close and the hotel's location is in a great little neighborhood that is quiet and cute but is also within walking distance of some wonderful bars and restaurants, as well as a U-bahn station. We absolutely recommend it and will be staying there again on our next visit.

I’m a frequent Expedia traveler and I was surprised to check into this Expedia VIP hotel this July with a room temperature of over 25 degrees Celsius with no temperature control or central air.

They had provided a small fan to blow the hot air around in the room. It was uncomfortably hot during the day and still not ideal in the evening. Opening the window during the day certainly was not much of an option as it was close to 30 out.

While this hotel does not state A/C as an amenity (which I honestly didn’t even look for while booking), a lot of hotels don’t list it in their page...just like that they don’t list running water or a lock on their door. I don’t think it would be wrong to have expectations to have basic climate control, when they charge $200 as basic motels even have basic A/C.

I think this disappointing experience could have also been prevented on Expedia’s end, as they should do a more thorough job qualifying hotels and granting “VIP” Status hotels that apparently have “special amenities”. I highly encourage you to call Expedia customer service to hold them accountable for the experiences and quality of products offered to us.

Weird thing is that the wash sink was not in the bathroom, it was in the room.
Electric sockets within inches of water taps.
And there was no air conditioning in the room.

Lovely hotel but on a noisy street

Very happy with the hotel as a whole and the general area where the hotel is located. However, there are a number of bars which stay open until 4am on the street and there is a lot of noise in the early hours.Visitors to the hotel bar smoke directly outside the front of the hotel and we couldn't sleep due to all the noise they were making.

Clean and friendly, but dark rooms and no Aircon!

When we arrived it was over 30 degrees in Munich and we were looking forward to an afternoon sleep after travelling. However when we got in the room it was unbearably hot as the room had no aircon. I went to reception to ask for another room with aircon, but was informed that the whole hotel had no aircon. I appreciate that the listing does not state aircon as a room facility, but to charge the price it does without this facility is outrageous.

The rooms are also very dark particularly the bathroom which could do with additional lighting. Also the bacony (over looking the courtyard) actually overlooks the underground car park and is only large enough for 1 person at a time!

Apart from that staff were very helpful, and everywhere was clean.

Location is also excellent very close to good bars and restaurants and close to the Englisher Garden

Very smooth experience. Reservation went well, the staff was very accommodating, professional and friendly. The guide that I used talked about a bar in the hotel. They have a bar, but it is an after thought rather than a functioning entity.
I would recommend the hotel if your travel needs take you to the Schwabing area.

The hotel is so pretty, gorgeous lobby and room. I was so achy from the long flight that I used the green tea bath sachet they provided and the luxurious soak made me all better. The bed linens are gorgeous and we slept well. Our favorite part was the handsome, charming, English -speaking, Harley-riding breskfast waiter, Marcus. All the staff were great but we just loved him! The breakfast is elegant and worth every centime!

Excellent location - with the U-Bahn station a few minutes away. The room was big enough by most European standards. I saw a number of guests complain about the design of the bathroom - so here's an update: there is a curtain that may be drawn before the transparent glass separating the bathroom from the main room. I mainly have one complain - there are no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, although hotels.com mentions of it being there. The breakfast was ok - although some varieties might help, including cakes. The staff (both at reception and at breakfast)were extremely courteous and professional - that was always a pleasant experience. Overall, a nice stay.

Nice hotel with very unique decor. Reminded me of an urban underground nightclub! The room was spacious (we didnt stay in the smaller of the rooms offered) and comfortable. The bed was good with nice linens. There were 2 sinks in the room as the one located in the bathroom is micro, so the additional sink is located in the room. There was a fantastic size bathtub, what appeared to be heated tile floor (?), and a towel warmer that did not seem to work. The parking was offsite for 15 euros but very close being next door. Loading and unloading is a little tricky in front of the hotel as the area is very congested with parked cars and no desiginated zone for the hotel. The neighborhood is cute with a great burger place up the street but, a little out of the way for visits to marienplatz. Finally, the hotel offers a very nice breakfast spread complete with made to order eggs. There were various choices of breads, yogurts, fresh fruits, cheeses and juices european style. Breakfast is not included and a little steep at 16 euros. Overall, we found the hotel very nice and comfortable.

Nice Boutique hotel in Ideal location

Stayed in this hotel based on the recommendation of a friend. Hotel was really nice and ideally Located. The staff was a bit bored and net extremely enthusiastic. The rooms are special, clean and well furnished. But not very practical in terms of facilities (air con, sink in the room, no proper curtain or wall in the shower resulting in easy flooding of the bathroom.

Everything was just perfect!

Cozy and warm atmosphere; rooms are very clean and have nice furniture as well as the beautiful lobby. Staff was very friendly and competent. The location is perfect. Although In the heart of Schwabing with nice restaurants and shops it is very quite there.Only 5 minutes walking distance to Englischer Garten and 5 minutes walking distance to one of the main subway stations "Muenchner Freiheit" (4 stops to Marienplatz). But when the weather is nice it is much more fun to walk through the Englischer Garten to the center of the city (about 30 minutes). I travel to Munich frequently and have stayed in many hotels of the 5 star category but this hotel is my favorite and will definitely go there again the next time in Munich.

Das Hotel ist leider nicht so, wie es auf den Fotos dargestellt wird. Es ist ein in die Jahre gekommen ist Hotel, was mit wenigen Handgriffen besser in Schuss gebracht werden könnte. Es waren viele kleine Mängel, wie z.B. Lose, Regalböden, heraushängende Lampen, abgeschlagene Türstöcke, fehlende Siphonabdeckung……
Mit wenigen Handgriffen könnten diese Mängel beseitigt werden

Sehr schönes, zentrales Hotel in Schwabing. Toller Service, große (moderne) Zimmer jedoch etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Zimmer zur Straße hin können durch die ganzen umliegenden Restaurants/Bars abends/nachts etwas lauter werden.
Parkhaus für 15€/Nacht direkt neben dem Hotel.

Hotel położony w znakomitym miejscu, tuż obok parku angielskiego. W pobliżu liczne restauracje. W Hotelu bardzo czysto, profesjonalna obsługa.

Ein tolles Hotel in einer sehr guten Lage. Es sind viele Cafes und Restaurants in der Nähe.
Ich habe selten in einem Hotelbett so gut geschlafen!

Sehr gute Lage in Schwabing

Gute Lage. Nettes Personal. Stylisches Boutique Hotel. Viele Bars und Restaurants in der unmittelbaren Nachbarschaft. Mein Zimmer war leider klein, kein Kofferablage. Geht für eine Nacht. Gegen die Hitze stand ein Ventilator parat.
