We loved our stay here! Great location just off the main road with two metro stations in short walking distance. Supermarket nearby and lots of cafes for breakfast. Room had everything we needed and was very clean. Reception staff were nice and helpful for any requests/info we had. Also had lockers on departure where we could store our luggage till we flew home

Big room, new or newly refurbished, nearby tube stops and with free street parking on the road overnight. The break was good quality, even though there weren't too many food options. I would have also liked to have iron and ironing board cause travelling on business, these were not in the room. I would stay here again.

The property was excellent overall and the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, I would not give this hotel 5 stars until it figures out how to ensure there is Wi-Fi across the hotel. The two rooms we had were on the front side of the building and the Wi-Fi was absolutely unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber. For the cost and as a hotel that advertises itself to foreigners, this must improve. We literally had to stand my the door in order to simply check email or pull up the subway map. This made our trip much more difficult. Another router or two is required.

Room was spacious and tasteful in a minimalist fashion. A/C was marvelous. Bed and lighting was very comfortable. Very bad experience with front desk. Asked for an extra pillow - no. Asked for a bike rental - no. Asked for late check out - no. Used the overnight parking one night, but was tried to charge me two nights €50. After asking about purchasing late check out availability, denied but allowed one more hour - manager forgot and told me I stayed beyond allotted checkout.. Hmm, just earlier you told me I was cool to stay an hour.

A Go To hotel in Munich

Our family rented 3 rooms at this hotel. It is stylish and impeccably clean. It is located a short walk from the Englisher Garten, right next to several organic grocery stores, restaurants, and the Giselastrasse train station. I will always stay here when visiting Munich.

The pillows were as flat as a pancake and even after asking for an extra pillow it was still so flat.
Overall it’s a nice modern, clean hotel, but for how expensive it was we weren’t super impressed!

I would not recommend the \"Room, Courtyard View\". I found the couch uncomfortable, lacking space to do work, a tiny table with no space to eat, and overall pretty lackluster room. Additionally, the hot tub was closed.

Perhaps suites with integrated saunas make it worth it

Simple, spare lodging in great location

Simple, friendly hotel outside of the touristy old town area. Nice neighborhood with good coffee shops and restaurants nearby, close to subway and trams. Goid fresh breakfast that leans toward healthy options rather than sweets and cakes. It's not \"luxe\" -- the rooms and lobby are spare and modern/minimal, as the photos depict, and the bar isn't much. But the location and hospitality more than make up for that, we were very happy with it.

Shower has no curb and water goes all over, small shower area with sink and toilet. Floor floods no matter how well you try not to keep the water from spreading. No parking. Nice Bio food store next door.

Brilliant staff, bright and clean hotel. Shower, AC and double bed very good. Short walk to the metro which is the easiest system ever. Short walk to the English Garden. The gym was a bit 'style over substance', they need to get a rack of hand weights. They could do with a kettle and coffee making equipment and a little fridge in the rooms, don't find many places who don't have them.

The property is fresh, modern and clean. It is close to the trains and trams. The breakfast was well worth the price. The best restaurants are on the same street. It is on a busy street, but we had a street side room and it was very quiet. The Jacuzzi & Sauna were a real treat. We were a group of 4 with 2 children. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed here for 4 nights in July and highly recommend this property. Check in was smooth. We were early, and the front desk was happy to hold our luggage. There are many fantastic restaurants within walking distance, so we went to eat until our room was ready. When we returned, our luggage had already been brought to our room. The property is immaculate. The hotel is modern and compact, with thoughtful design details for storage and comfort. The bedding is excellent. We found the pillows to be a little flat, and the staff was quick to provide us with a few extra pillows. The hot tub and sauna were again immaculate and a lovely treat after long days of exploring Munich. The location is excellent for shopping, dining and transportation. Public transportation in Munich is incredibly reliable and efficient. I would happily book this property again. We had an incredible experience!

I sort of expected a little more given the high rating here. The location was wonderful, and the feel is very modern. All good. But things are a little cramped in the rooms, and the staff did a poor job navigating their own error vis-a-vis the included breakfast (I hadn’t booked it but apparently received it as a free upgrade, as I was notified on check-in…only to have the staff confront me mid-breakfast one morning and tell me there had been an error and that I needed to pay for all future breakfasts. Thus ended my breakfast perk, and I didn’t end up having to pay for the few days I had eaten, so no big deal; but I think the smart, customer-friendly move would have been to say nothing and keep me enthusiastic about the surprise bonus). I probably will look elsewhere next time I come to Schwabing.

The neighbourhood is amazing! Nearby the English Garden, shopping (e.g. Patagonia), coffee shops (e.g. Starbucks). Very walkable, even to the city center, the Alte Pinakothek, Max Planck, etc. Really liked the location. The suite was also cozy and the service at the hotel excellent. I only liked less the fitness center... missing my elliptical and kettlebells.

This is a great hotel in a busy, but fun Schwabing neighborhood of Munich. This is the second I have stayed here. A mix of families on vacation and business people made up a majority of the guests. Breakfast has a lot of choices. Staff is very professional and accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay in Munich. We are a large family and the room with 6 twin beds was perfect for us. We happened to arrive the day the jacuzzi was reopened after the winter months. This was a pleasant surprise for our kids. The staff went out of their way to make our stay perfect. We would highly recommend to others.

We booked by hotels.com the only type of room which were available for 4 adults: six single bedrooms. It resulted a little uncomfortable for us, because we travelled in winter and we had to use two of the beds for baggage, because big suitcases don’t fit in the storage under each bed. The two bathrooms were very small and after showering the floor left flooded. Maybe the room is good for a group of young travellers. However, the hotel is new, beatiful and it has a great staff.

Great hotel within walking distance to the train/bus station and the English Garden. The staff was so friendly. Loved the decor of the hotel. It was unique. Great location close to the U train. Lots of stores and restaurants close by. Yet still quiet at night to sleep. Loved the two twin beds for my teens and the king bed for me and my husband. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Only disappointed was hot tub was not hot and it would have been great cool weather to enjoy it. Brought my bathing suit with the plan to enjoy the hot tub and could not. It was very nice looking and clean too. Oh well.

Perfect hotel to explore Munich.

Hotel was spotlessly clean. Everything is modern and new. Great place to use as a base when exploring Munich and the surrounding area. Within walking distance of transport links and lots of great bars and restaurants. Also a short walk to the English Gardens. Breakfast was good. Lots of choice for all the family. Our family room was really clean and was very well designed. Breakfast was excellent and staff were welcoming. The hotel’s location was great - close to the Englischer Garten and good cafes, bars and shops. A short walk to the underground, but we chose to walk into the centre of the city numerous times, soaking up the ambience along the way (about a thirty minute walk). Our two teenagers loved the hotel and Munich was a revelation to us all!

We loved the property. However, we had a problem with parking - the hotel has only 25 parking spots for 80 rooms. We were sent to park 1.5 miles away in heavy rain, after having driven for 400 kilometers and very tired. The answer to our protests was: \"You can take an umbrella\" and \"It is not that far.\" We had a problem upon leaving the garage as well - we were not able to open the gate, tried to call for an attendant - it was Sunday, no one picked up. Called the hotel - were told to insert a credit card - no one knew to advice us that there is a casher's booth around the corner (a machine) and on top of it, the machine accepted cash only. It took us an hour total to park the car and bring the it back, out of the 36 hours we had to spend in Munich. Very disappointing!
