Not the place to go if you’re after sleep: the mattress is solid and the pillows super thin (found out as we left they have a pillow menu and you can ask for a nicer one, unsure why they don’t just put out nice ones anyway??)

The room had no hair dryer and when I asked the night guard for one he said they didn’t have one so I had to sleep with wet hair.

We booked a room for 2 with breakfast included, but whilst eating were told our booking only permitted breakfast for 1 person and we needed to pay an additional €18 a day for the extra person - unsure if this was an error on my part or a scam, but for some stale bread and warm yoghurt we didn’t eat breakfast there again.

Otherwise great central location near 3 u-bahn options and the cleaner was a lovely friendly chap.

They accommodated my friends and I so quickly. We were close to transit, to get us to the old town Munich and a short walk to English Gardens.

Had a great time!

Booked 2 rooms and one was upgraded at the check-in and the room was so great.
And as a Sliver Member of Hotels.com, we had an offer of 1 free breakfast per room, which was also great.
The hotels location is not far from the city centre and the airport and there are many restaurants and a supermarket nearby
Hotel has sauna and seemed great.
It was one of the best stay in 4 weeks holiday in Europe.

Stay was very pleasant. Front guys were very nice and helpful. Room was comfortable (we were 3 people), and clean, and airy. Hotel is 30 minutes walking to almost anything. There is a convenience store/supermarket on the opposite corner. It was a really nice stay and excellent service.

The staff are so kind and supportive.
However the single room which I was staying was smaller than the pictures and on the day of my arrival it was very dirty.
The toilet wasn’t flushed and the floor wasn’t clean.

Hotel mit wirklich gutem Frühstück

Tolles Personal, gute Pflegeprodukte, herausragendes Frühstück für ein 3*+ Hotel, Getränke und auch leichtes BarFood sehr ordentlich.
Bettwaren könnten kuscheliger sein und 2 Kissen wären schön.
Schade dass es keinen Mini-Kühlschrank gibt und leider könnte die Sauberkeit immer noch besser sein. Wenn unter dem Bett nicht zumindest alle 2-3 Tage geputz wird fliegen doch immer wiederFuselnester unter dem Bett hervor. Unschön.

Basically, we needed to be in Munich during the big trade fair when all hotel rooms were much more expensive than usual. It was a 'double room' in that it had a double bed, but the facilities were for one: there was a desk with one chair so only one person could work at a pc, and not enough room in the bathroom for two people's toiletries. Given how crowded Munich hotels were that week we were glad to get it but luxurious it wasn't. Oh, and it was on the third floor, I have mobility issues, and there wasn't a lift. On the plus side, we arrived at 11 at night after train problems, and the barman was not only very nice, he was able to rustle up some simple hot food.

A fine hotel

We quite enjoyed our stay at Flemings Hotel Schwabing. Our room was pleasant, equipped with a fine bathroom and a balcony giving a nice view of the surrounding area. Unfortunately, it was too early in the season to sit outside. I was surprised to learn that normally the rooms are cleaned only every other day. Two days after our arrival, we returned at 5pm to discover that the room had not been made up yet. I renewed my request that at least the bath room be cleaned and provided with fresh towels. When we returned a few hours later, the entire room and not only the bath had been thouroughly cleaned, including the beddings Wonderful! The breakfast buffet and service are excellent. The inner court yard providing deck chairs would be much appreciated in summer.
Conclusion, a fine hotel, well located. We will gladly stay there again.

The water in the shower was cold and I contacted the front desk, they said there's a knob I need to turn to make it warm. I'm not stupid and I told them I did it but the reaction is are you sure? and did you leave it running for a little bit? I did all but it was still not warming up the water. I used it the second day it was okay. After check out other front desk guy told me there's always been issue with the shower, the temperature of water is not stable. I was not happy about this because the first guy should told me that or should switch a room for us at least. Anyway, I stayed in Fleming chains a lot, this is definitely the worst one.

Das Zimmer war winzig, das Wasser aus der Dusche roch komisch. Die Beschriftung (wo befindet sich das Zimmer mit der Nummer 30X) ist leider nicht intuitiv und lädt zum Suchen ein.
Das Personal war sehr nett und das Frühstück auch sehr gut.

The images in the listing are misleading for this property. The room we received was neither carpeted nor well lit as suggested by the listing images. The floor was dirty linoleum, scuffed and dusty. The room walls were not the cleanest either with visible damage or marks on them. The bathroom was incredibly tiny (can barely sit on the toilet with the door shut), and the lighting as aforementioned was very poor, with a single small window for the whole room.

Overall, not as shown in images, very, very different. Convenient location and no issues checking in, but not what it says it is. Definitely neither a 3 or 4 star property. Upper 2 is more accurate.

I really enjoyed this hotel, the room was great as a solo traveller. The only issue was my tv did not work and only one pillow was provided. However, everything else was great - the self check in was simple, and the staff were always on hand if needed.

Once you have got past the poor \"self check in\" that requires human help, the hotel is great. Nice breakfast spread, nice staff. Rooms are clean and if you have a courtyard room nice and quiet. Roadside rooms are noisy.

The hotel is very close to U-Hahn stops (less than 4min walk) which makes it easy to get around Munich and to/from the airport. You can also walk to the Englischgarten which is beautiful on a nice day. The room was well equipped with nice shampoo and soap in the shower - better than many hotels. The check in service was very smooth and check out we just dropped our keys in a box - super easy!

Restaurant breakfast is amazing, food and service was outstanding. Hotel rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. While not a central location, transportation was easy to obtain, with a bus station and a tram/train station within easy walking distance. Staff service excellent and very friendly. Fitness center equipment a little limited but adequate. Spa has two sauna's plus a steam sauna (not working during my stay)

Convenient and fairly priced, though a bit of a subway trip to downtown Munich. Room was really clean and well maintained, and I could get comfortably installed with my luggage. My reservation include breakfast, and I was pleased with the quality and variety of food. Staff was warm to welcome to the hotel, and checkout was fast.

Fleming's Hotel Munchen Schwabing more than exceeded my expectations. The room was perfect for a single person. The shower had a lovely 'rain shower' nozzle and the water was always hot. The bed was made up nicely each day. The reception staff is very charming, knowledgeable and helpful from making restaurant suggestions to travel routes. The housekeepers always had things in order. Breakfast was plentiful and there were many choices to select from each morning I was there. One night I had dinner at the restaurant and found the service to be very good and the food well prepared and ample.

It was not as expected. the Rooms were not like in the picture when booking. the price was too high for what was offered. It did not have the standard of a 4 Star Hotel. The aircon was not working properly and it was a 33 degree day so we had to open the window which was right next to a very busy street and kept us awake all night. The coffee station had no tea. it was lots of little things that made the stay not as enjoyable as it should have been.

My last minute birthday trip

The staff was great .. 2 of which stood out was the really tall blonde at the front desk was so helpful and nice ..he had spent time in the states i.e. Florida and bartender/waiter Timo?? Centrally located to the train/ Bon and great area across from basic the organic grocery ..
It's 5 mins to mairinplatz station .. not mention great saunas and workout area very clean!.. oh and a GREAT breakfast everyday!
