Such amazing staff with attention to details. From the minute I arrived at the front desk until I checked out, I felt I was attended to in every area. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were so friendly, introduced me to a few German delicacies.👌

From front desk check in to room service, cleaning the room, the restaurants/ bar and the spa. I was waited on by pleasant friendly and professional staffs each time. I will be back again and glad I made reservations with you.

⭐️ 1/5 — Very disappointing experience

We stayed at this hotel for three nights and had dinner at the restaurant on December 25th. Unfortunately, the experience was very poor. The service was extremely slow, the restaurant was understaffed, and the food quality was unacceptable.

The starter was a tiny portion of pâté shared between three people, the tartare was overly salty, and the duck was undercooked. The entire dinner cost nearly €500, yet we left hungry and disappointed.

The next day was no better — bland soup, soggy sandwich, and overall very low food quality. This was by far the worst dining experience we’ve had at an Andaz/Hyatt hotel.

Sadly, the restaurant ruined our overall impression of the stay. I would not recommend it.

Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn das Reinigungspersonal geklopft hätte, bevor es ins Zimmer kommt. Es ist wirklich unangenehm, wenn ein fremder Mensch vor einem steht, wenn man gerade aus der Dusche kommt. Beim Check out wurde man nicht gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung war. Diese Aufmerksamkeit wäre schon schön gewesen. Sonst war alles gut. Schönes Hotel

Great Hotel and great service

We came day after we reserved the room and we make a phone call to ensure the room is safe for us. When we arrived the room was not ready but they find a very fast solution for us to go to the Spa and use all the spa equipment until the room will be ready. That is a good service! And will back to this hotel who care about his customers!

Really comfortable hotel. Lovely large rooms with everything you could possible need. Great facilities - particularly pool and gym. Breakfast buffet is also excellent. Staff bend over backwards to help and give you the best possible stay. Thoroughly recommend.

This is a really fantastic luxury hotel. The hotel itself has amazing facilities including a spa and gym, restaurant, cafe/bar and a second bar on the ground floor.

We felt so well looked after the whole time by all of the lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble, including getting us milk for our 2 year old daughter at 5am in the morning!

The local area is also fantastic and a bonus for us was they had a street party/festival on the weekend we were there, which was very family friendly.

We hope to come back and stay again to see more of Munich, as we spent a lot of time enjoying the hotel and it’s facilities.

5 star hotel but not 5 star service

We booked 2 rooms for our parents who were visiting Munich for the week. The hotel rooms and facilities were 5 star quality. We appreciated the designs, the spaciousness and how quiet it was. Unfortunately, we didn’t find that the service matched up to the same high standards. When checking in, they couldn’t find our reservation and once they had, we couldn’t go into the room because all the guests hadn’t arrived yet and were required to sign some paperwork. We also had prepaid for breakfast but when our parents went to eat during their first morning, they were told that it was not included and provided additional confusion. Sometimes it’s the little things that just accumulate, especially when trying to ensure your guests have a pleasant stay.

The hotel rooms and facilities are amazing. Truly meeting the criteria of a 5 star hotel. Unfortunately, I don’t feel like the service followed through with the same standards. When checking in, they couldn’t find our booking, we couldn’t check in until all guests arrived to sign the paperwork, they were going to charge us for breakfast (40€/guest) even though we told them that we had already paid for it in our reservation, etc. Keep in mind that each of these incidents took a lot of time and it was a very unpleasant encounter, which was our first and last impression

This is not your traditional luxury hotel. You get contemporary design and spacious space for a very competitive price as compare to other luxury hotel location in Munich. The mountain view is fantastic and definitely a must.

We stayed at the Andaz for two nights and found our stay to be a delightful experience. All staff members we interacted with were forthcoming, concerned with our satisfaction, friendly, and helpful.

One of the waitresses in the lounge bar on the day of our arrival, Lilian, is especially noteworthy. She talked to us while we were waiting for our room to be readied (we arrived very early) and listened to what we would enjoy for drinks, coming up with perfect and very individual suggestions, including a mixed drink created on the fly with input from my wife. The next day, she approached us during breakfast and gave my wife a small book about mixed drinks, following our conversation on the subject. This is truly going above and beyond the expected level of service.

The same is true by the way for the wonderful young lady who checked us in and was apologetic for our room not being ready yet, despite the fact that we had arrived very early and fully expected a possible delay. As we settled down in the lounge bar to wait for our room, our order there was “on the house.”

There were a few other positive examples, but it would simply be too many to list in a short web review. How is that for a compliment?

Thank you to the staff of Andaz Munich Schwabinger Tor for a memorable, pleasant, and truly enjoyable first class experience.

Fantastic!! Our flight was cancelled due to storms and we had decided to check out of a hotel near the airport due to limited resource and poor service, and we were delighted that we had! Andaz is a beautiful hotel, great modern design, the service, food, and facilities were all amazing! The bedroom is the best room I have ever had, the shower design, ease of curtains, PIR sensor floor lighting etc - all very nice touches! We even tried to buy some of the shampoo, conditioner, and soap but realised this is an exclusive to the hotel unfortunately.

Property was good. However, we couldn't use the Spa, which was one of the key reasons for us to chose that property. It closed at 6pm, as opposed to the 10pm shown on the website. Staff didn't tell us, despite us asking.

Additionally, we couldn't use the hotel bar, because of NYE celebrations, which weren't communicated. That part of the experience was really disappointing.

Brand new property- sparkling clean and located in Schwabing, a quiet area of Munich. Easy access to the public transit line, drug store, and Lidl grocery store. Great staff was able to help me get my luggage opened after the airlines mangled the zipper and lock. Room layout was creative, and it worked. It was nice to have the automatic blinds and blackout curtains, and also the option to open or close the blinds in the bathroom. I appreciated the complimentary mineral waters and snacks as well as the environmental conservation efforts with the recycling bins in the room and avoidance of single-use shampoo/conditioner/lotion bottles.

Die Diensthabende Managerin sehr professionell im Beschwerdemanagement Hut ab. Das erlebt man auch nicht überall.

schön ausgestattete Zimmer, Softdrinks inklusive, die Raumtemperatur ist sehr kalt, lässt sich kaum regulieren.

es gibt durchaus bessere Hotels in dieser Kategorie in München, allerdings hat mich die Dame aus dem Management überzeugt, wir kommen wieder. Und hoffen, dass das Hotel seinen Standard halten kann. Momentan wackelt er ein bisschen.

Unfassbar schlecht ist die angebotene Happy Hour!!

Hier muss zwischen Hotelgästen und dahergelaufenen Außenstehenden nicht Gästen, die einen espresso bestellen um anschliessend 5 Bier und 5 Gläser Wein trinken , den zahlenden Hotelgästen nichts übrig lassen. Sehr schlecht organisiert. Tolle Idee aber sehr schlecht umgesetzt.

Im Spa das gleiche. Unterscheidung Dayspa und Hotelgäste. Nicht gut organisiert.
Wieso dürfen Kinder nicht nach 17.00 Uhr schwimmen und müssen den Spa verlassen.
Dafür buche ich keine Suite. !!

Das Hotel ist wirklich wunderschön und mit sehr viel Stil eingerichtet – Design-Liebhaber kommen hier voll auf ihre Kosten. Die Lobby, das Zimmer und besonders die Ruheräume im Spa-Bereich sind auf absolutem Top-Niveau. Einrichtung: 10/10!

Das Hotel verspricht den „größten Spa-Bereich Münchens“ – das klang vielversprechend, allerdings war der Pool überraschend kalt und leider der einzige. Für einen echten Wellness-Aufenthalt wäre etwas mehr Vielfalt schön gewesen. Die Atmosphäre im Spa war trotzdem sehr angenehm und entspannend.

Ein großes Manko waren allerdings die sehr hellhörigen Zimmer. Man hört wirklich alles vom Nachbarzimmer – Gespräche, Schritte, selbst das Duschen. Für Menschen mit leichtem Schlaf eher ungeeignet, was schade ist, weil sonst alles stimmt.

Fazit: Ein stylisches Hotel mit viel Liebe zum Detail und großartigem Ambiente, aber mit Schwächen beim Schallschutz und im Spa-Angebot. Wer gut schläft und kein Warmwasser-Pool braucht, wird sich hier trotzdem sehr wohlfühlen.

Tres bel hotel dans un quartier moderne et recent. Les chambres sont top, belles spacieuse et confortable. Seulement le prix du petit dejeuner n'est pas adapté, 44€ par personne. Vous avez une chouette boulangerie juste a coté avec de super produit avec des prix abordable. Placé pres du tram vous etes en 15 minutes au centre ville

Leider war es nicht so perfekt! Heute ging beim Frühstück vieles schief. Cappuccino war kalt , die Bestellung war nach 35 Minuten immer noch nicht da. Andere haben bereits etwas bekommen .. beim Checkout gab es bezüglich des hinterlegten Geldes Probleme. Belastung erfolgte , Gutschrift nicht , soll etwas dauern…
