The room was clean and the bed felt heavingly. Be aware that there is no fridge or microwave in the room. The location was excellent, as there are multiple public transportations options. I went to attend a conference at TUM hospital and S19 Tram was very convenient to get there.

Good hotel in a convenient location

A lovely hotel, conveniently located. It was easy to get from the airport by train and the station was a 2 minute walk. Easy access to the centre of Munich (10 mins by train).
Rooms were comfortable although not the biggest I've stayed in.
The hotel is eco friendly which we liked but ot would have been nice to have clean cups each day. You can ask for them.
Breakfast was good with a wide range of choices. The staff were really friendly.
Overall a great hotel for a short break near to the centre of Munich.

Grateful to the manager who moved us to a different room, as the one we initially checked into was adjacent to some unruly, absurdly loud guests. After the move, everything was delightful. Nice hotel, situated close to the train station.

If IKEA had an hotel and it was in semi-suburban location. Mall next door with grocer, pharmacy, cafe & Burger King. Limited restaurants. Italian “Al Pacino” close & cute. Outdoor terrace. Metro/subway semi-close a little tricky to get to - you have to use a highway underpass though old Munich etc just a few stops away. Hotel is clean, rooms do have iron/ironing board, usb charging etc. Beds & pillows a little hard but soft duvets. Choose inside room vs odd numbered outside room that faces sunrise (hot) and highway (passes to side & below). Breakfast buffet is large but only a 5-6/10. Bar in lobby. Be prepared for smokers - they line the curb outside at entrance so you walk through a plume of smoke. Rooms do have soft close doors - major bonus. Front desk staff need a little customer service training. Not bad but not great. They don’t like using Expedia.

Clean and convenient to train, but bed was a rock

The hotel itself was fine, staff was friendly, and being so close to the train station was very convenient. However, the bed was incredibly hard and my back hurt more and more with each night's stay. The restaurant/room service was also closed for dinner during my stay. If you need a functional, no frills hotel, this one does the trick...so long as you like a hard mattress.

Nice location and service but AC needs repair

This was an overnight business trip in July.

+ location to work, service, cleanliness, bed, and recently renovated.

- weak air conditioning and stuffy air building. The hotel either needs a new air ventilating strategy or new air conditioning systems. It wasn’t even that hot and I could never get the temperature in the room to go below 76 degrees. Unfortunately this affected my sleep and I was only able to get 4-5 hours of sleep in the night.

Overall in the summer I would stay away from this hotel unless you like a hot room.

We were given a room looking directly at the loading bay of a large shopping centre next to the hotel. As a result we could not sleep at all during our first night and at 5:00 am had to ask for another room . Why were we given that first room is still a mystery to us as there were not many rooms occupied on the floor . Otherwise the hotel is clean , close to public transit options and offers a very generous breakfast buffet .

Safe was faulty with our passports locked inside. Technician was not on duty so we were concerned that it not be fixed in time for our departure. They managed to open it when we were out but it did cause us anxiety. Room and hotel exceptionally warm. Restaurant opened only for breakfast.

Traveling on a red eye flight I appreciated the early check in very much! Alex at the front desk was great!
There were some cleanliness issues. My room the floor was dirty and the toilets closest to the restaurant were in rough shape during the day. Over all I had a very good experience. The breakfast buffet was awesome!

There was an accident in our room and we let housekeeping know. They didn’t show for two days and charged us $400 Euro. A complete carpet change would be less expensive. They were so rude and snobby.

Night staff is inattentive, must have been sleeping on the job. I waited 20 minutes at the front desk, enough time for a random person with a guitar to come in the lobby and play for a random couple there, I ignored him, then the man lied to me said he worked at the inn. Told him to leave me alone that he clearly didn’t work there and he began to harass me. Amir is the name of the man on shift that night, I tried to call out for help twice.

That hotel is a great place to stay in Munich with an excellent location to use the S Bahn to the airport (direct line with S8 or S1) or city center (only a couple of min to city center)
Hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was great!
I would use that hotel again.

The hotel had an emergency drill that we were not made aware of and I spoke with the front desk
Multiple times during our stay and was never made aware of this emergency drill. We we’re busy packing to leave and the alarm starting ringing and we did what all people are trained to do is leave the room to find a staircase and make our way down the staircase to exit the hotel. We went 5 flights of stairs down to find out when we exited that it was only for staff. When we asked why we were not made aware they told us there was a note posted in the very crowded elevators that we did not happen to see. We should have had a notice dropped in our room or have been verbally told of such a planned event. This was frightening and not to mention rude as heck to not inform your guests. They were rude as heck when we questioned why we were not told about the emergency employee drill. Unacceptable rude behavior in my
Opinion. I will never stay at a Holiday Inn Again while traveling.

Great location next to the train stop and supermarket 1 min away - excellent family room inter connecting with 4 single beds and two bathrooms - excellent value as included super buffet style breakfast - I asked for two soft pillows and both were delivered to my room when I got back later that afternoon - super service! - very clean and modern design - nice bar in foyer with cold draught beer! - nice touch in the elevator with staff leaving a message on the glass mirrors! Nice that non residents could not access the residential floors via the lift without the bedroom keycard enhancing security feeling. Highly recommended and that is coming from a very fussy person!

I stayed here for two nights for Oktoberfest. Perfect location, short ride on the train to get to the festival, nice property, great breakfast included. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting for Oktoberfest!

Hotel location was GREAT to access local S-trains. Hotel was fine; rooms were a tad small and the AC was laughable. My only complaint is I could never get the room to cool off and having the window open didn't help at all because of how they open...pretty useless. Staff was nice and restaurant/bar was good. Breakfast buffet was a plus!

Property was very close to train station but also quiet. Staff were all friendly and helpful and our room and bathroom clean, modern and comfortable. Late checkout was offered by staff which meant we could sleep in, eat our breakfast and head off to the airport for our flight without having to wait for hours. Breakfast buffet had everything imaginable laid out which we enjoyed. Thank you!!!😀😀😀

The entire stay was even better than we hoped for. My mother and I were traveling for business and a quick trip to Oktoberfest. My mother has a more difficult time with stairs, etc. Having a lift was perfect. The room was spacious, clean, two twin beds that were very comfortable....and a great shower/bathroom. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly. They helped us purchase tickets for the train, helped us understand a couple of map questions....and extremely friendly with languages. At breakfast they greeted us in a couple of languages and laughed with us regarding which to use. It was just a great trip and I would stay there again without any hesitation. As a side note - the short train ride to Oktoberfest was very easy (and about 3 euros each - each way) We also found out later that an Uber ride to the same place was about 12 euros each way.

I really like this hotel because it’s clean and the location is conveniently next to a train station that goes directly to the airport and to Marienplatz. The room was relatively spacious and there was a TV, mini fridge, and free waters. The only thing that would’ve been nice is to have free breakfast like at other holiday inns. But other than that, it was a wonderful stay!

after staying in hostels all over germany, this place was so great to end our trip in. nice to have a more western style hotel haha. it was fun to experience german hostels but you get tired of paying for towels and such after a while.
the staff did walk in on us at 8 in the morning though, that was weird. we were in bed. i think it was too early for the cleaners? but maybe that's just when they start.

Rooms were good, large enough with good bathroom.
Room was on western side, afternoon sun was way more than the Air Conditioner could cope with.
Air Conditioner was very noisy.
Glass shower door wouldn't close properly so much water spilled onto the rest of the bathroom floor.

Despite the heat only a quilt was provided for the bed, after first night asked for a top sheet, only able to provide 2 empty quilt covers.
