Wonderful stay - the location is fantastic. A neighborhood setting, but very close to tram and U-Bahn. Just a 10 minute walk to S-Bahn or you can connect from the immediate stops. There is a Rewe grocery a block away and two excellent restaurants within a block. The church bells in the morning were a great sound if you have the window open.

In our case we had breakfast included in our rate. It was easy to access, clean, good selection and the staff was very courteous.

A really terrible experience! I have booked 2 nights in the hotel, however,the second night I can't open my door with my key and there is no people in the reception . I call them many many times, but nobody answer. About 40mins later a staff call me and come. He gave me a new key but without any apology!! it is really annoyed!!!

You get what you pay for.

Good for one night, but don't recommend any longer.

The kitchen was not equipped with all of the basics, including enough cutlery. The tap sprayed everywhere making a mess every time we used the sink. Despite there being a fold-out table, there was little room to use it as well as no chairs. We asked for a coffee maker and were told there were none and we should pay for the breakfast instead. The entire kitchen space was taken up by a giant microwave.
Leaving the window open meant that we either had a great deal of cigarette smoke or a bombardment of perfume.
Very little room to \"live\" in the space. The term apartment is seriously overrated.

It’s a quiet hotel, not quite in a central location but with decent transport options nearby. It’s situated in a green setting with a couple of churches nearby and I enjoyed listening to the church bells in the morning. A grocery store is very near, in general the supermarkets normally are not open on a Sunday and they shut at 8 pm (different for the British) Monday-Saturday. The balcony was spacious with some basic furniture.
However, some things could be better. I arrived an hour earlier than my check in time and the older lady at the reception stared at me for longer than I was comfortable with. Then in the room the shower head had very thin holes which let out very thin water jets, and to have a decent amount of water for taking shower I had to increase the water pressure and the water jets hurt my skin. The shower curtain was too short and the shower water overspilt on the floor. The pillows were poor, soft, lumpy and shapeless. Then the cold salad dishes were too small at breakfast and if you put 2-3 tablespoons of the salad on your plate, the salad dish looks nearly empty and that does not look nice towards the other hotel guests, even though the dishes were filled with more salad later. The breakfast was very modest. And finally, I killed 3 cockroaches in my room.

The showers were terrible, the water was leaking from side of the screen to the floor. Fridge was broken, had to change the room to the Noisy room. Not nice experience as a whole and will not stay here in the future.

Very clean and pleasant hotel. The staff is polite. The breakfasts are unmatched. The location of the hotel is good (close and U b S). In-room kitchen will save your budget a lot, there is a grocery store nearby (on holidays and Sundays it does not work)

A good value option in a really handy location

A nice, clean apartment hotel with friendly staff in a good central location.

Supermarket about 2 mins walk away, tram stop 3 mins walk away and a couple of pubs / restaurants within minutes walk.

Not the most modern decor wise but everything was clean and I have no complaints at all.

It was a nice and cosy room. Housekeeping everyday. I was pleasantly surprised by the balcony. The house keeper even tune up the heater when doing up the room so that I came back to a warm and cosy room. So very thoughtful of them! Will definitely come back again. Tram and U tube only a few mins walk.

Nice neighborhood to access and tour Munich, with an awesome breakfast buffet. Staff was terrific and helpful - sold us the day passes we needed for the trains and had a map of out to get to Oktoberfest. We tried 3 local (1-2 blocks) restaurants recommended and they were all excellent.

Great hotel in a quiet area. Near is the park, swimming pool, supermarket and although a little too far from the city it is very easy to get to with the train that is also down the road less than 5 min walk. You have to change 2 trains but very easy. I would definitely stay here again.

The room I stays in was a little dated. To stay in their refurbished wing, we must pay more.
The balcony was a bonus - and I love the birds chirping in the neighbourhood. The bed was so soft, it feels like a hollow pillow- with nothing inside. For the price and the breakfast, if you are out most of the time, it's a worthwhile stay.

I am very happy with my stay at Central Hotel Apart Munchen. U-Bahn is very close to the hotel. The breakfast is fantastic. It is very quite area. The only problem is there are not too many English TV channels.

The location of the hotel is very good. There is close to the metro station. Drugstore, supermarkets, restaurant, food station..near the hotel. Hotel is quiet, clean, comfortable. The wall cover with the red leaves, is so beautiful. The staffs was all helpful, patience, kind, effective, polite. The instruction of connecting wifi, the location and time of having breakfast, the check out time is clear. I like the breakfast in there too, so tasty and the place is clean and with the natural scenery. The gym room is clean too.

I stayed for a short time and then for a long time. They are still renovating some of the rooms so ask for one that has been renovated. The difference between renovated and unrenovated is the difference between camping and staying in a hotel! The breakfast is terrific and the staff is friendly and courteous. I will stay here again!

Good hotel for overnight stops with families.

We used the hotel as an overnight stop. A clean well set out room, which suited us perfectly. It is not very close to the centre of Munich as the name implies, but the underground connection was very good and within a few hundred meters of the hotel. Wi fi connection was good and the breakfast was excellent with a wide range of food on a buffet style layout.

Quiet neighborhood

If you are looking for a quiet place in a nice area this is it. It is a few stops by the underground from central station but not a long ride. The area has several nearby restaurants and a local shopping district nearby.

Great but make sure you're on NO SMOKING corridor

I booked here not only for ample breakfast, close Ubahn and tram, but chiefly because the structure was advertised as NO SMOKING- hard to find in Germany. The first night I was assigned to rm. 171 on a tiny corridor that smelled like a mix of old and new smoke. I should have not accepted the room, but simply mentioned issue to front desk staff. The next morning I saw all other corridors were clearly marked NO SMOKING, unlike mine. I insisted on changing rooms and was given identical room on bigger, non-smoking corridor. No apology from pm or am staff, rather denial that people might smoke in corridor with no signage. Kitchenette clean and newly equipped. Staff did my few dishes (THANK YOU!) as no soap provided. Bed comfortable. Bathroom clean and new with powerful heater. Heater in main room was old a very weak even at high setting. The hotel is set up like a college dorm but much nicer. Front desk closes 11pm M-Sat and 9pm Sun, so after those hours you must enter with room key and phone for any help that could be needed.

We are very satisfied with the location,cleaness,and quality of breakfast and service.The only negative comment is that in spite of the fact that we booked the hotel well in advance (about 4 months) and specifically requested to be allocated in adjacent double rooms,as we were two families, we were given a twin room and a double room,on different floors. More attention should be given to the crockery supplied as many items were chipped.

Quiet restful place to stay but conventine

This was a quiet restful place to stay in a residential area but convenient to subways and trams. The breakfast was surprisingly good with scrambled eggs and lots of fruit, bread, cereal, pastry, juice and coffee. The balcony of our room overlooked a quiet field. It was a great place to relax in the evening and listen to the birds. The small kitchen area provided the needs for easy to make meals. A fitness center was available. The TV had only two english channels, but we were too busy visiting Munich to watch anyway. The parking garage was tight and hard to maneuver, recommend parking on the street.

Central Hotel Apart Muenchen

went to Munich for a short Dec break. The hotel was really nice, clean & warm. Breakfast was great also. The area was so quiet and peaceful. The nearest Tram stop and underground was only a few minutes walk away to take you to city centre, Airport etc. Overall for my first visit to Munich , we as a family of three from Cork, Ireland were well impressed and had a great experience.

The hotel was a little out of the way, but convenient to subway and tram train. Get those maps when you arrive or rent a bike as you will need them. Because it was out of the way, it was a very quiet area. Stayed in an efficiency suite which was roomy by European standards. A very nice stay.

The hotel is close to an Underground station and you can be in the heart of Munich within 30 minutes. The Underground Map is easy to understand and you will have no problem navigating in Munich. Parking is 8 Euros/day. There is no place to park in the heart of Munich, therefore, you must use public transportation or a taxi to get around. If you are traveling by rail, the main train station is located in the very heart of Munich, near all of the tourist attractions, and you can easily take the Underground from the train station to the hotel. The hotel serves a first class breakfast. The staff speaks English and are very helpfull. I thought that the hotel was a very good value.

We recently stayed in Central Hotel Apart Muenchen for a two night romantic weekend. First impressions were not good.
The hotel exterior looks very run down and in need of a lick of paint. The stairwells and coridoors leading to the rooms were also of a similar ilk and would best be described as depressing.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the room itself was of a decent size, clean and well decorated.
Our king size bed was two smaller beds pushed together and the bathroom was very small but served its purpose.
Tea and coffee making facilities, but no complimentary tea or coffee provided.
Breakfast was very filling but limited. A greater selection of hot food would have been very welcome. Breakfast staff failed to acknowledge our existance on both mornings that we attended breakfast.
On the plus side the hotel is located very close to a metro station, which made travelling to and from central Munich easy and stress free.
Overall impression.....Glorified Travel Lodge !!!!!

Central Hotel Apart - Economical Option

If you visit Munich, you don't need a car because the subway system is efficient, very modern, clean and safe, and you can get just about anywhere. This being said, the Central Hotel Apart is not centrally located, but about 20 minutes from the city center by subway. The subway stop for this hotel (Josephsburg) is about 5 minutes away from the hotel which is in a residential district. A grocery store is about 2 minutes away from the hotel which is nice if you want to get snacks, etc. It is a convenient and very pleasant hotel if you don't need to be in the city center and don't require four star accommodations. We had an efficiency room with a balcony and it was particularly good because we had our teenaged son with us, so we had more room than some hotels. They also include a breakfast buffet in the cost which was very good. It was economical, very clean, and I would stay here again. We frequently went back and forth to the hotel during the day by subway, so don't let its distance from the city center deter you. Staff were very nice. They let us check in early and were very pleasant.

The hotel staff are very friendly and the breakfast buffet has a great selection. Mini fridge and stove top helped with re heating leftovers. Dishes are provided. About 2 blocks from Josephburg U-bahn stop and takes about 15-20 min to get to city center. My only reservation was that the hotel doesn't list prices for laundry services. Just be sure to ask how much they charge per item. Weeks worth of clothes turned out to be very expensive.

For the price, the hotel is ideal. There is a TV, telephone, internet access if required and also a little kitchen should one wish to self cater. There are a couple of really good restaurants a couple of minutes (at most) walk from the hotel - good food and good beer.

There is also a little supermarket two minutes walk from the hotel - great for stocking up for late night snacks!

The hotel is also only a three minute walk from the nearest underground station - again ideal for travelling into the city.

Overall, I was very pleased with the hotel and would recommend it.

The staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean, comfortable, and in a safe neighborhood, less than 5 minutes from Josephsburg ubahn stop. Breakfast was perfect with a coffee machine that made whatever you desired. No complaints, and I would return.

Quiet, good deal

Hotel is in a residential area; looks like the rooms are former apartments, renovated and very quiet. Basic kitchenette was included. Try get a room in the rear, away from the entrance - door opener was somewhat noisy. From the center of Munich it takes about 15min to get there with the U-Bahn, I consider that rather central. Breakfast buffet is really great .

In a quiet convenient location.

The hotel offers plain comfortable accomodation, the breakfast is fine, Nothing fancy but honest nosh.The place is less than 2 mins walk from the U bahn (10 mins city centre) and also very close to the Tram (19), direct to the Opera house door to door. Save money on accomodation and buy some opera tickets.
The area is quiet and safe. Close by is a very good supermarket and German, Italian and Japanese restuarants. The German place has a biergarten.

I have stayed more centrally in Munich, in Lehel, but this was nicer. The birdsong alarm clock was nice. There is a beautiful big Rococco church close by, St Michaels that has plenty of trees and walking places.
This hotel offers plain comfortable accomodation, good bed, in an area just outside the city centre. If going to Munich again Id have no hesitation in putting up here again. My room (the cheapest) had a good kitchenette. Great after a long day out doing stuff.

Decent Place to Stay...

The Central Apartment Hotel in Munich was quite good. The U Bahn station is only a block away. Parking on the street is limited however, and the pay parking in the tiny underground garage can be difficult to navigate unless you're driving a Clever Car or a Cooper.

Great value for money! :-)

100m from the U-bahn, great breakfast-buffet (included!) and very friendly staff-members. Will highly recommend this hotel for a getaway trip to a great city! Just remember that you cannot book a place in the garage in advance and that you have to go outside the hotel to eat (exept for the great breakfast!) -but plenty of nice restaurants in the area. :-)

Die Lage ist sehr gut, nahe einer U-Bahn-Station und eigentlich liegt das Hotel fernab der befahrenen Straßen. Leider ist die Einrichtung nicht so gut, weil die Holz-Fenster schon sehr alt sind und nicht gut schließen (mein Fenster hatte einen Kippriegel unten und einen alten wackeligen Riegel oben, um es zu sichern - das habe ich schon sehr lange nicht mehr gesehen). Außerdem hatte ich ein Zimmer zum Durchgang hin zwischen den Häusern, wo viele Leute tags und nachts unterwegs waren. Hinzu kam noch, dass drei Tage lang die Fassade renoviert wurde, es stand ein Hebekran vor meinem Fenster, das war sehr laut.

Das Zimmer an sich war okay - wir hatten aufgrund der Bilder höhere Erwartungen, aber es ist alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen und einfach. Die Umgebung bzw. das Gebäude war allerdings erschreckend. Es sah aus als würden die Wohneinheiten teilweise auch länger bewohnt werden und es machte einen mehr als ungepflegten Eindruck. Wir waren ehrlich gesagt froh, dass wir nur kurz dort waren.

Good in general, bed was too firm for my taste.

Good price-comfort ratio, but you can find better ones.
The location is excellent, in a quiet corner just a few minutes from the U2 metro. The building is an interesting brutalist example, kept super clean and tidy even if it looks dated on the outside. There are food and groceries options around as well.
The room has nothing out of place, it is big and has a pretty decent kitchen for a short stay.
The bed is a single-plus size, which is good. The mattress was to tough for me and the pillows so very thin, hence the lower comfort rating.
The gym is ok. The cardio equipment is top-shape, really new and in perfect working order. The weights have seen better days and could be modernized.
Communication and all that worked perfectly.

Buena comunicación con el centro. La limpieza es buena. Nos dejamos las tarjetas de entrada dentro de la habitación y a pesar de que la recepción estaba cerrada, contactamos con el teléfono de emergencia que ponía y nos solucionaron de inmediato el problema. El que puedas disponer de microondas, frigorífico y un pequeño menaje de cocina da mucho juego. Muy recomendable.

Innanzitutto parliamo della pulizia: abbiamo prenotato 4 notti lì e nessuno mai è venuto a pulire né stanza né bagno, sono passatinsolo 1 volta a rifare i letti ma non hanno lavato nulla, infatti le stesse macchie di sporco sul wc e sul pavimento c'erano anche dopo che sono passati!
Poi ci hanno assegnato una camera non raggiungibile con ascensore, sebberne sapevano che avevamo un bimbo piccolo col passeggino, quindi scomodissimo!
Struttura lontana da qualsiasi fermata dei mezzi di trasporto.
Inoltre personale delle cucine poco cortese..la colazione, già abbastanza scarsa, da orario doveva essere servita fino alle 10 e invece alle 9 già staccavano la macchina del caffè e iniziavano a sgomberare.
Insomma, al costo pagato non ci tornerei

Prima hotel op handige locatie

Het hotel ligt in een rustige en groene buurt met metro en tram naar het centrum op loopafstand. winkels en restaurant zijn in de buurt.
Kamer is voldoende ruim, comfortabele bedden. Goede badkamer. Alleen de keuken is minimaal uitgevoerd en ook erg minimaal van benodigdheden voorzien.
In plaats van een tweede zitplek troffen we een opgevouwen bedbank aan die zo veel ruimte in beslag nam dat je de zitplaats van de eethoek er aan kwijt bent en die ook niet erg comfortabel is.

Schade war es, dass es kein Frühstück gab. Es wäre stattdessen eine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer schön gewesen. Ausserdem hatte ich sehr laute Zimmernachbarn, es war sehr hellhörig das Zimmer.

Mein Wahl-Hotel in München

im Moment halt Corona-Bedingungen (kein Frühstück).
Zimmer-Raumpflege überdurchschnittlich. Die Nutzung der Garage wurde mir ausgeredet - warum Zusatzkosten? Parken im Wohnviertel hat aber gepasst. Für meine München-Reisen ideal.

Wanzen im Zimmer

Leider hatten wir Wanzen im Zimmer, schlimm genug. Meiner Bitte nach einem neuen Zimmer wurde nicht entsprochen. Ich nehme an das der Portier mich nicht verstanden hat. Wir sind dann einen Tag früher abgereist. Beim Check Out Schulterzucken. Keine Entschuldigung nichts. Schade

Die Unterkunft war für uns groß genug und ruhig. Mit der Küche war es sehr Praktisch und soweit war alles vorhanden was wir brauchten.
In kurzer Entfernung gibt es einige Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen und Essen gehen. Die nächste S-Bahn war auch um die Ecke und so konnten wir einfach ins Centrum Fahren. Der Check in/out war sehr angenehm.
Wir würden hier wieder übernachten.

Prima hotel, lekker gegeten , dinner en ontbijt.
De kamers zijn zeer mooi, matras van bed wat dun. De meeste activiteiten zoals tafelvoetbal, biljart etc zijn betaald . Zwembadje met veel gloor is gratis .

Lassen Sie sich nicht vom Äußeren beeindrucken. Die Zimmer sind modern, geräumig und die Betten lassen einen sehr guten Schlaf zu. Es ist auch ruhig in der Unterkunft. Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, lässt keine Wünsche offen. Danke.

Empfehlenswert, ich würde wieder kommen

Ich war für einen Messebesuch in München. Das Hotel liegt dafür optimal zwischen Innenstadt und Messe direkt an der U2.
In dem etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber gut instand gehaltenen 70er Komplex findet man gemütliche Apartments inkl. kleiner Kochnische. Bad und Betten sind für den Preis total in Ordnung. Ein Bügelbrett oder wenigstens ein Bügelraum wäre für meine Zwecke noch nützlich gewesen.
Absolutes Highlight: Das bei meiner Buchung inbegriffene Frühstück ist wirklich sehr gut gewesen.

En general bien aunque se pueden mejorar cosas

Desayuno buenísimo, y nuestra habitación era de las reformadas, pero aún así, había humedad con pintura desprendida en una de las esquinas del techo y la terraza se ve que no la limpian.
Pero lo más importante es que no hay aire acondicionado y si pillas una ola de calor como en nuestro caso, no puedes ni abrir la terraza porque al dar a un parque y tienes los árboles encima, entran muchos insectos.
Todo lo demás bueno. Metro al lado al centro de Múnich, personal muy agradable. Desayuno muy bueno, aunque la entrada, ascensor, necesitaría reforma.

Muy buena ubicación, cercana a estación de metro.
La habitación y el baño estaban impecables.
Excelente atención del personal, y muy buen desayuno.
Con estacionamiento subterráneo, que se paga por separado.
Contras: La habitación era un poco pequeña y el equipamiento de la cocina era muy básico.

Die Zimmer sind sauber und Zweckmäßig. Allerdings war das Badezimmer sehr klein, die Dusche sehr eng. Große oder füllige Menschen können sich sicher nicht in der Dusche umdrehen. Das Frühstück ist gut und der Kaffeeautomat macht Freude. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!
