No parking, nothing to eat near by except a Burger King. When we went to eat at the hotel restaurant nobody was there for 20 minutes so we didn’t eat anything. Our “king” bed was two twins put together.

Came for Octoberfest and found this hotel to be reasonably priced. Located further from the city center but the public transportation in Munich is top notch and we were only minutes to the nearest metro station with a bus stop right in front of the hotel. The location itself was in a more residential neighborhood so very quiet and peaceful. The size of our room was bigger than most hotels that are closer to the city center which was another factor for our decision. Hotel staff were super friendly and all spoke perfect English so communication was a breeze. Highly recommend!

The hotel room offered little. The fridge had nothing in it and broken handles. There was a small convenience store in the lobby for drinks and snacks. The front desk person who checked us in was very friendly and helpful, but the gentleman who came on shift after was not so pleasant.

The hotel failed to inform that there was construction renovation in the hotel
At first they were not willing to move us to another room ! We asked for a cancellation and refund which they would not agree to!
Finally they moved us to a much smaller room, lower category , but refused to adjust the room rate
The safe inside the room was not working , there was no remote control for the TV, no bottled water !
Overall horrible experience!
Do not recommend NH hotels !
zero customer service and the staff was horrible ! It was as if I was asking for something totally absurd ! To be able to have a room with no construction work next door !

Doesn’t deserve 4 stars

We came from the USA for the funeral of my mom and I booked 3 rooms. Very disappointing. The rooms were dirty and had cockroaches, the AC units didn’t work and the beds were very uncomfortable. Didn’t want to touch the hair dryer, because it was so dirty and sticky. Wouldn’t stay there again. Not recommended!!!

Das Zimmer 1120 war leider sehr laut (Autobahn).
Die Stehlampe hat nicht funktioniert und beim einchecken wurde mir die Zimmerkarte gereicht die nicht freigeschalten war.
Die Qualität des Frühstück sollte verbessert werden. Die Auswahl ist zwar groß aber die Produkte könnte von bessere Qualität sein.

The staff who served me during my stay were very good, polite, and well-educated. However, the hotel is quite far from everything if you are walking; most places, such as the train station and supermarket, are around 15 to 20 minutes away. The only nearby place is a Burger King, which I saw on Google Maps but did not visit.

There is a bus stop station in front of the hotel, but you need to buy your tickets online, which was impossible for me, or at the main station. You have to go to the station to buy tickets, and I don’t know if the bus sells tickets directly.

The bathroom has a bathtub, and the hotel is suitable if you’re just looking for a place to sleep. As for breakfast, I didn’t opt for it, but if you depart early at 5:30 am, there will be coffee and croissants available.

Other than that, the hotel was nice, but I give it a maximum of 2.8 stars. I think the hotel needs an update in its appearance.

That was my experience!

This hotel is located right in front of a bus station, which makes getting someplace, extremely easy. My wife and I really liked the sauna and fitness center. Overall, this was not a bad stay, however, there were a few things that we didn't like. The shower had a small door that really didn't do a great job of preventing water from going everywhere on the floor. I'm not sure if the a/c in our room was working, but it was almost impossible to cool our room. I would stay there again if I had to, however, I might be a little more picky before accepting a room like the one that we had.

The hotel was clean but it felt like a Premier Inn (but pricier). The staff both at check in and check out were not up to the job.
We had to remind the check out lady to book a taxi for us. She told us to sit and wait but she forgot to order a taxi. We got the taxi in the end but her actitud her was careless.
At check in the person in charge made all sort of excuses when I asked a few things saying that he was not normally posted at the hotel.
The price of drinks was quite high.
Moreover the room was perfumed with such a strong flavour that we needed to open the window (it was snowing) to freshen up the room smell. The air conditioning made the air very dry and again needed to keep the window open a bit all night to be able to breath properly.
The place is Velia my expectations for an NH hotel (which I use frequently)

Nice stay in a place that was convenient for me.

Booked a standard room for 2 nights and was only really in the room for sleeping, not a lot of time during daylight hours. It would have been nice if there was a tea or coffee maker in the room, as advertised. I asked at reception about it and they said they thought that it only applied to superior rooms. I liked the fact that I had an inner door to my room to shut out the noise from the corridor. Not that there was much of that. It seemed a very quiet hotel. If you arrive from the airport and are not using a taxi, be aware that we caught the S Bahn train then 2 buses to get to the hotel.

It's the little things

Primarily a business orientated hotel. We experienced trouble checking in, more because of inexperienced staff but it led to having to check out again the following morning only to check back in again, much to the chagrin of the more experienced staff on duty. The same was true for dining in the hotel. Told on the Monday the place was full and to go elsewhere, we then discovered the following Saturday it shouldn't have happened and we ate in house that evening. We also discovered that taxi drivers are reluctant to make the trip between the hotel and the main rail station, offering lots of excuses, but it turns out that they simply can make more money elsewhere. That said, the hotel was clean, warm, comfortable, as described, and most staff helpful even if a toddler grandchild is causing mayhem. Yes we would stay there again, especially as we now know the above. Food was good, plentiful and varied which was useful with a 2 year old.

The room was hot no AC, I told the front desk since the day 1. I was told too bad for me they can’t do much. No English speaking staff German and Spanish. Room was dirty I asked for towels and was told to come downstairs and get it because they don’t do room service. Terrible place to stay if not my confidence I wouldn’t stay there ever. I left a day before and the hotel didn’t want to give me discount early check out.

The rooms were clean, and big. Considering 3 of us shared there was still a lot of space.

The room was cleaned and beds made each day providing new towels.

The hotel bar was good and the prices similar to that of the centre, opened till 1am which was great.

The only downfall was breakfast being €23 however there were other options as not too far to travel into the centre.

Overall, we would 100% stay again.

Hotel is situated in a quiet neighborhood near S-Bahn (Berg am Laim) , which is convenient to go to town where all the attractions are located.

The room is modern and clean. Wifi is good but the TV has limited channels in English except CNN.

Stayed here as a lead in to a tour which was departing from the same hotel. The staff were excellent and helped us merge the two bookings so we didn't have to check out and back in again. The hotel was very comfortable and was only a short walk to the local train station. Breakfast is excellent with a large selection of foods and beverages available.

Miscommunication during check in

It was a great stay! However, one of the receptionists told us at the moment of check-in that the price for breakfast was 9,90 euro, and then we requested one day of breakfast, but by the check out when we had to pay the other receptionist said it was 19,90 and we had to pay twice what we expected to.
That miscommunication got me a little upset cause if we had known the actual price perhaps we would have made other plans.

Very strange check in experience - some of this of course could be due to a language barrier but she seemed to not know how to handle the process and looked to me with a blank stare. Wasn't very helpful when I asked her to find my package. Went back later and asked someone else.

Bar staff was very pleasant especially Nina. I felt the bar staff was very overworked and understaffed. Even when the place was packed, Nina had a smile on her face. There was also one other young woman who just started - they both did their job extremely well under pressure.

Food was mediocre, fitness centre was small but decent. Surrounding area was neighborhoods and this id definitely a hotel for business trips. Right on the busline to downtown though so a very easy ride. Taxi to/from the airport was about 70 Euro each way. If you can figure out the train/bus situation, way cheaper!

Stay was mediocre at best. The staff was amazing, don’t get me wrong, also the room service and breakfast when we did order was prompt, and the staff was sweet. But the beds were absolutely awful, both myself and my fiancé complained of back pains the whole time. The pillows were awful as well. Also the air conditioner barely worked at all, it was boiling hot almost the whole time during the stay. Furthermore is nothing in the immediate area except for a Burger King (which do not get me wrong, was clutch during a few nights after some Munich festivities during Oktoberfest. Over all I’d give this hotel a 6/10. Service was tops, location and bed were horrible, air conditioner barely worked, and the location was very very far from any of the main attractions of Munich Germany. For the price I believe you could stay closer and stay with better accommodations elsewhere.

Overall a nice friendly hotel

Even though the hotel is not central it was in a quiet area and easy to get to by train s bahn to Ostbahnhof and then a bus to to the hotel. It was clean and staff friendly. When I booked the hotel I knew it didnt include breakfast as I had asked in an email. I made alternative arrangements so imagine my shock when upon checkout my bill was 84€. They said I would have been asked at checkin if i wanted breakfast and I said yes. This was not the case. In thr end they removed the items off my bill as i never had it. Overall the Hotel was very nice.

Terrible customer service experience.

After calling the lobby to see if i could make free phone calls (which i was informed that i could), i made a 10 minute phone call and only when i checked out was i told it was actually not free. The customer service team then told me that i could not leave without paying and that the amount would be charged from my credit card even if i didn't pay. No help or empathy at all from the customer service team because i couldn't tell him the name of the person that offered me that advice. Definitely not coming back here again and would not recommend at all.
