We chose to stay at Moxy because it was conveniently located from the Olympia Park where we attended a music festival. However, I wish I had read some of the reviews more thoroughly. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable for us. They almost feel like they were of overblown air mattress quality. I had read a past review after we checked in that complained similarly…however some people seem to think the beds are comfortable. The hotel has a very trendy lobby and the atmosphere is pleasant and very thoughtfully/cutely decorated. If all you need is the bare bones in your room—this can be a great option. In the future I would stay elsewhere on account of the bed quality. We did appreciate the free coffee downstairs though (plus to go cups) and the staff were very friendly!
Also side note, if you’re traveling as a couple…make sure you’re comfortable with the toilet being just a couple meters away from the bed! The sliding door is thin!
Overall, Moxy is convenient and trendy but for anyone who values their quality of sleep…bring your own pillow or stay elsewhere.

There is a table outside of my room which invited people to sit at a chat all night long. I am unsure if these folks were staff or other guests. I literally did not sleep soundly for 5 nights due to the loud conversations that took place. The front desk were crass but the bartenders were awesome. Great selection of beer, drinks and games to idle away the evening hours.

Personally, I feel the price of this hotel is too high. Firstly it's a 20 min drive from Munich city centre (which I knew when we booked and didn't matter to us as we had a car) but still for the price, roughly £190 per night was just too much. We had just stayed a couple of night before in the centre of Cologne for £90 less per night. This hotel lacked basic facilities, such as a wardrobe, you just get a few hangers on a wall. It lacked simple extras like most hotels have such as coffee, tea and a kettle and the \"accessible\" room that we were in was far from accessible. My partner couldn't access most of the room as there was not enough space and then in the bathroom the layout is dreadful for someone in a wheelchair. She struggled using the room overall. Not very impressed with this hotel, especially when looking at the pictures online and the hotel looked amazing but it appears all the hard work has been put into the main area downstairs. Wouldn't make this my hotel of choice in the future.

I have to say that the staff there was amazing! They stayed through the night to get all of the travellers affected by the storm and delayed travel in Munich checked in and many were still there the next MORNING! They were shoveling snow and ice from the walkway and all had a great and friendly attitude!! Amazing! They all deserve Christmas bonuses!!!

I booked MOXY for 3 nights for a conference. I had booked a double room yet on the first instance was given a twin room. They were happy to change but I should have been given the correct room in the first place. Rooms are basic with few amenities: hardly anywhere to hang clothes, nowhere to store clothes, no kettle, no safe. I’d say this was fine for one night only

Hotel has modern design and features, that's the good. The reception desk is also the hotel bar, so we waited to check in while staff mixed drinks and served beer. We were told to come back down to lobby for a free \"welcome\" glass of wine for my wife and I. The wine was cheap, from a bottle with a screw on cap, and it was 14 Euro for 2 glasses instead of free. Lots of drunks having fun in the lobby until very late. Room was tiny and bed was hard. Breakfast was nothing special and 12 Euro per person. Not a place we would return to.

The Moxy is in a very quiet commerical park outside of the city. There's not much around other than office buildings, but the location is a quick walk to the train station making access to the city simple. The hotel is very new and has been well maintained. The rooms are a reasonable size and have everything that you would expect from a modern room. One nice feature is that the televisions in the room utilize a Chromecast to allow you to stream your own content to the television. Overall, the hotel is extremely nice for the price and only a short train ride to all of the popular city locations.

For someone who isn’t as concerned with spending an entire vacation at a hotel this is your place to stay. USB Plugins in the Outlet for cell phone and tablet charging. Located near the S2 stop in Reim. And about a 25€ cab ride to Marienplatz. Staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations on places to see and things to do. Food options at breakfast carry away and pans/flatbreads are plentiful.

Very new hotel, it is super hip and the bar is open 24/7. It is a 10 minute walk to the S-Bahn line 2 which facilitates travel to downtown munich. Overall the hotel is quiet, clean, and brand new.

When we originally booked this hotel we had plans to go to Oktoberfest at the beginning of a long European visit and didn't want to pay downtown prices. We had no expectations except that it would be clean and comfortable. From the second we arrived the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Georgia, Rabina {sp} and Sebastian made us feel very welcome. They helped us with directions and suggestions for our stay and this did not stop through our visit. They have a cool restaurant where my wife had the \"all day breakfast\" on flatbread which was awesome. I had an equally great margherita flatbread. The bonus was the train station to town was a 5 minute walk away so we did not need to deal with driving. We would stay there again in a flash.

Very 'funky' hotel. Reception is the Bar where trance and house music is playing 24/7. Bedrooms are ultra modern and very clean. Breakfast is a bit limited. After the initial surprise, i would definitely stay here again. Great for the conference center but not much else in this area.

We loved our stay at the Moxy. It is withing a 3 minute walk from the S-bahn station and I felt very safe walking with my daughter after 10PM in the neighborhood. It is about a 15 minute ride into Munich. The rooms are very nice and the hotel and staff are great. The breakfast was good and a good variety. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

If the location is good for you, it's a brilliant place to stay. Rooms and lobby etc were very pleasant. The place had an interesting character; board games, modern music, slight focus on LGBT, cocktails, beer and airport times on a board and other businessman-specific content. So I'm not quite sure who the target market is. But I loved it!

Brand new \"hip\" hotel with excellent internet connection and great spaces to work from in the lobby. There is a cocktail bar and breakfast is included. Next door is a Clothing Outlet (a perk for the ladies) and a DM (the German Boots). It is about 15 minutes from Munch Center but the train (bahn) runs frequently and is only about 5 minutes walk away from the hotel. It is also very quiet there. The room was on the small side but really didn't bother us because we were out all day.
