The carpets from the elevator to outside my room were stained beyond belief. It looked like a frat house floor. Also, room service is via a QR code, but doesn’t actually work! I ordered dinner at 7pm and it said delivery would be at 8pm, which seemed extreme. The order never arrived. The feedback DM in the app didn’t work either. When informed the staff the next day, they calmly said, oh yeah, that doesn’t work!

The staff at the reception were amazing with their service and from the bar too. We requested quite a few things we needed for our room from Ice to Scissors, and was given in time. The rooms were really big, and there were three of us too. The toilets were amazing and clean too.

The only thing I would say is, some staff need to be more confident of the place Munich. As they will be the first people we will go to for information like transport and where to go. As well as, some cleaning staff (think she has glasses and curly hair up done - probably the supervisor since she had a clip board on her hand) can be interpreted as a bit mean when asked for towels from their trolley, which didn’t come as friendly. Anyways, all good on the other hand and would deffo recommend, just far from central so we took taxi all the time.

Stopped here as part of a longer trip. To be honest a bit stuffy and old fashioned for our family including young children. The rooms are a bit dated and no kettle to make a coffee available.

Good is pretty expensive as is breakfast.

They did have a children’s room with some games set up.

You are in a business park so there is no where really to go other than Lidl.

I’ll happily stay at this hotel again

I booked the hotel because it looked close to the ICM (Munich Conference centre).

It is, but you need to ignore your map app to find the quickest way! Through the pedestrian and cycle tunnel under the S-bahn line, which then is a 20 minute walk

The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious, but the view is of other buildings, though there is a small wood nearby.

The S-bahn station also is nearby, with three trains per hour: at 10, 30, 50 minutes past the hour and only 23 minutes to Marienplatz.

I’ll happily stay at this hotel again.

It was good overall. Nice executive hotel. Good and comfy rooms, although a little bit outdated. The one bad thing, which was quite annoying, is that the free internet service they provide is terrible. I struggled a lot to have good connection to work or navigate in my celphone.

We stayed for 4 nights in a family room. The family room had twin beds pushed together (so could be seen as a double) and two fold-out beds for the children (age 6 & 9). The room was very clean, beds comfortable, temp perfect and had lovely toiletries in the bathroom. The room was cleaned every day.
The location of the hotel was good for us as we had rented a car and it was approx a 30min drive from the airport. There are two supermarkets and a pharmacy 5mins walk away which is ideal when travelling with children. The area is very industrial however, with few restaurants around. We ate in the hotel one evening, food was average. We were glad to have car rental as we did need to drive to all destinations.
Hotel is about a 25min drive to Marienplatz. As we didnt use public transport I cannot comment on how easy/difficult it is to get there via that means.
We parked at the front of the hotel on day 1. On day 2, we parked underground as there was no parking out front. The next day we were charged €13 for this! This was not mentioned at check-in & I found it very expensive for hotel guests to be charged such an amount.
Overall, it is a good hotel to stay in if you are planning to visit places around Munich and use as a base. We went to see a Match in Allianz Arena and it was very close, we also drove to Erding to the Thermal spa and waterpark and down to Legoland. The hotel was ideal to rest your head in comfortable beds.

Service could be better. Some staff almost rude but others fine. Clean ok. I ordered twin room but they were close up each other, not what I expected. The area is not exciting, very few restaurants around and have to take taxi almost everywhere. Riem train station is in walking distance though.

Ok, Nh hotels have a certain style and this is no different. The directions on their website from the train station are misleading but having gone the wrong way easy to figure out. Quality of service mark lowered as attended restaurant for evening meal and stood for 15mins waiting to be seated as the manager ignored my presence. Apparently no tables were available although easily located once complained

Way too far out

Great location if you want to be near the exhibition halls. Ridiculously priced taxi ride of €70 from the airport each way. In hindsight I should have stayed in the centre of Munich and taken the train to the exhibition centre not only save on the taxi rides but also there is more to do in the centre.

This is a excellence hotel. Hard to find.

I attempted to check in at 1:30 PM. Again at 2:38 PM. Finally at 3:20 PM I was allowed to check in. Having said that, the rest of my stay was remarkable. The hotel is located a short walk to the train station. you have to use the computer to get your train ticket. At the main train station, you may buy your
ticket from a agent. The rail system is great.

Reception staffs very unhelpful. For the free wifi we had to enter the room number and last name. We could not get in and went to check with reception why. Turned out they made up my surname from God knows where. My last name starts with F and they changed it to C. Asked why and we were informed they don't know much about Asian surnames. But I had to fill out a form upon check in my name, address etc. Surely it was not that hard for them to look it up?
Also most hotels we stayed in have coffee making facilities in the room. This one does not and its a 20 minutes train ride into the city.

Terrible hotel. Our room door could not open and my wife needed her heart medicine. The staff thought it could wait until next morning when the janitor could open the door. Only two people working during the night after 10pm at a 400 room hotel. Completely unexceptable!
After threatening with the police the staff figured out to call somebody;)
Took from 11pm to 2:30am. They will never see us again!

We had a great time here would recommend if only staying in Munich for a few days. The train is close by and it's only about a 10min walk to the station. The room and bathroom were spotless. The only down fall was the bed and pillows, i didn't get a good sleep. The wifi also has a limit of 500mb which is a pain if you are booking your next location on the go.

Good budget hotel close to conference center and city center. The S-Bahn (Reim station, S2 line) is a ten-minute walk from the hotel; however the walk way is pretty deserted. Just be cautious about your surroundings, more so at night time.

The hotel offers an expensive breakfast at € 22.- You might want to consider a much less expensive breakfast option at the nearby IBIS hotel at € 7.50.-, a five minute walk around the corner, which we did.

Some staff could be without a smile on their faces, but in general, the staff is very friendly and helpful.

We went down for breakfast every morning and signed a sheet of paper with €25 on it, there was us thinking this was per room (which still seemed a bit steep). Imagine our surprise when we were informed on check out that this price was per person!!! The staff weren't particularly quick at clearing the tables either. On 2 occasions I had to move dirty plates myself. Don't get me wrong it was nice but a tad expensive for luke warm tea, 2 rolls and some fruit. We complained at checkout and even the staff said yeah we know it's expensive we get loads of complaints. Won't be going back to that hotel next year for the Oktoberfest. Feel ripped off........ Over £100 for breakfast for 2 people over 3 days😡

Great hotel, but far from the city

This hotel had great staff that were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the restaurant also had fairily good food. The only downside was it was far from the city center and there is not much around apart from a small grocery store and a few restaurants. A cab to the main train station in Munich was €30. Not an ideal place for someone looking to explore the city but great if you want a quieter neighbourhood.

Stayed here during a short weekend trip. Hotel was a 10-minute walk from Riem S-Bahn station but there were no signs along the way to guide you. Room was very spacious but quite stuffy if you do not open the windows (AC was not working when we there). Further, the toilet in our room was very dirty (there was faeces in the toilet bowl and hair all over the bath tub). Have stayed in better NH hotels.

We had a great stay here. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to an S-train stop, which was nice. This hotel is located in a business district, and is very quiet. The rooms are beautiful, they have granite vanities in the bathroom, a leather chair in the corner, a comfortable oversized bed, a corner desk, a flat screen tv, a great hair dryer and amenities, and a stocked mini bar. The rooms are oversized, which was nice with all of our luggage. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, they had scrambled eggs, cereal, multiple juices, an espresso machine, drip coffee, sausage, bacon, bowls of fruit and different types of yogurt, multiple cheeses and cured meats, different breads, pretzels and croissants, etc. This hotel reminded me of a typical 4 star hotel in the states, which was a nice surprise. Note that parking is not included with the room price

Another overnight stay for Oktoberfest

We stayed at this hotel a year ago when we went to Oktoberfest 2013.
We loved it, so we went back this year.

This time we were not that impressed. The location near highway and few minutes walk away from S-Bahn is still great. But...

We reserved a room for 4 (adult) persons. We checked in at about noon and thay said that the room is ready for us. But it wasn't. The room had one queen bed and no other beds. Thay said thay would bring two extra beds, but we couldn't figure out where thay would put them as the room was not big enough for two extra beds (or maybe it was but it would then be impossible to walk around in). Luckily we didn't have a chance to find out as we found another (bigger) problem.

The toilets were not cleaned after a previous guest (with things still flowing in the toilet!). We then insisted that they change our room which they did. They even upgraded us to a suite, which had plenty of space for two extra beds. And the extra beds were normal size and gave good sleep quality.

Overall we were happy with the stay and we may stay here again, but we will also check other hotels next year when we go back to worlds biggest bear fest;).

Convenient overnight stay

The hotel was in a great location for what we needed. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance if you don't want to eat at the hotel. Breakfast was pricey (€21 a person) so we opted to just have coffee which was pricey also. The AC in our room did not seem to work all that well so at least it was a little cool outside so we could open the window. The hotel itself was nice and the staff was great.

Please let me just say that the blurb on hotels.com leads the viewer to believe there is wifi in the bedrooms. Coupled with the fact it is a business hotel, in an industrial area you would assume so. So when we arrived to discover wifi in lobby only, we decided to ask why. They kindly arranged for the conference room router to be hooked up to our room...but if they'd had a conference on...
Also, they turned off the air conditioning in the room. When we asked about it was told \"we like it hot in Germany when it's cold outside\". Restaurant staff were amazing!

Nice, quiet atmosphere close to Munich

I was looking for a nice, quiet hotel that was away from all the chaos of Oktoberfest yet close enough that I could still enjoy the madness of the season. I found it. Through a little research I was able to find this very classy hotel, not far from a train station, that offered great breakfast, comfort, and a great place to stage our daily trips into the wonderful city of Munich. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a great bargain that still offers all that of a 5 star hotel.

Excellent hotel, with just a few drawbacks.

This place was pretty great. There's a train about a quarter mile down a path from the hotels front door, and it takes you everywhere in Munich. Every meal that we had at the hotel bar or restaurant was very good. The breakfast has a nice variety of food, buffet style, and is 21 Euro for the week per person. The rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, and the spa/sauna area was very well maintained as well. I wish I could remember the name of the bartender we liked, but he was awesome too. Very nice, welcoming and didn't make us feel like outsiders. One of the bartenders was horrible though, and the sole reason 'staff' didn't get an excellent rating. There is also no gift shop (small hotel) and more annoyingly, no medicine at all. So bring your own. If you get a headache, upset stomach, cold, etc. you'll have to catch the train to find a pharmacy, which you won't want to do while you're sick.

This hotel is in a pleasant neighborhood, a short walk from the super convenient Ubahn. My room was large and quiet, although the bathroom was small. The hotel provided free wifi but has not yet upgraded to flat screen TVs, and it offers just one PC to guests who don't have a laptop. I waited about 15 minutes while a young man played video games! Indeed, the place seemed to cater to a young crowd. The front desk staff was not especially friendly or helpful,, and breakfast was very pricey. Had it not been for Oktoberfest, I would have stayed closer to the action in Munich, but given that other hotels were crowded and expensive, this option was okay.

Nice, clean, modern hotel, but in a business park

Very nice, clean, and modern hotel with all the amenities. We stayed there for Oktoberfest and the S-Bahn is in walking distance. My only complaints would be that 1) It's in a business park and you can't really walk anywhere to eat, 2) there is excellent wifi in the lobby but there is no wifi in your room (there is wired though), 3) the price of food/drink at the hotel restaurant was outrageous. Breakfast buffet was 21 Euros! Overall though, it was a great hotel.

Overnight stay for Oktoberfest

We chose this hotel as it had the best price/distance for our overnight stay while drin... visiting Munich for Oktoberfest.
When we made the booking we didn't realise that S-bahn (train) station was just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Excellent added value;). Since the train station is so close to the hotel I would consider staying here even if it wasn't during Oktoberfest (when all the rooms near the center are fully booked or totaly overpriced:).
The hotel itself is located in a business area (not much to do there in the evening), but it has a supermarket near by, and is located near highway (good access to the Airport, Alianz Arena and city center).

A Tale of two nights.

The first night was fine on the horrible beds with the awful pillows. The second night however was one of the worst I have spent in a while. The room faced the lobby and the drunks were in full swing till 5 am. I called the night manager and he answered two out of ten times. Neither time was effective.

easy access to s bahn

Was fine for what we needed - felt a bit far out but easy public transportation is available. They make it a point to provide you with what ever you might need. Was able to purchase public transport tickets at the front desk.

Web site misdirection

Unfortunately we thought we were booking the downtown location. We were very disappointed to find ourselves in a business park location. Would loved to have experienced Munich they way we dreamed.

Nice hotel but a little difficult to find.

It was nice enough for all our needs but not quite as handy as we had hoped. The hotel was very clean and nice. Our only complaint was the difficulty in finding it. Even with out GPS it seemed we always came out on the back side and had to wind our way around to find the front.
