good base for exploring Merano
Good location for Merano 2000 cable car and botanical gardens. It is 3k from Merano centre and while there is a bus taking the car was more convient for us, parking on edge of town.
The hotel itself is part of camping hermitage, which seems to be main focus. The hotel could use some re-imagining. For example, removing the net curtains obscuring the great view. Staff not that welcoming though this may be lack of confedence speaking English.
We enjoyed our stay in area. The nearby lido is excellent, schenna is pretty and both 4 mins drive away. Nice being up in hills.
