The hotel staff were lovely and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was amazing. The room itself could have used a little freshening up, but it was clean and fine for our brief stay. The main negative was that we were in a room that adjoined another and the guests (including a young child) in the adjoining room were very loud while we were trying to sleep. There were several shops nearby, as well as bars and restaurants.

Good location, convenient to local shopping and restaurants in a lively, safe, well-lit neighborhood. Many buses retrieve tourists in the morning to visit local destinations. Responsive, multilingual front desk. Room was small with basic amenities and privacy from other neighbors. Private parking lot attached. Overpriced for the quality of the room, but you're mostly paying for the convenient location.

Clean rooms and comfy beds.powerful shower and shampoo and conditioner provided. We had adjoining family rooms which was very helpful. Breakfast has a great choice and lots of it. We ate in the restaurant one night which was good too. The swimming pool and hot tubs were great after a day travelling.

Comfortable pillow options and mattresses that support but give. Nice amenities, accommodating staff. Plenty of electrical outlets. Air conditioner is effective.

Sheets and towels have seen better days.

Good shower and superior shampoo and conditioner.

NO Internet through most of the stay - big problem!

Restaurant attached to the hotel has horrendous service. The food is decent, not great, but service is appalling.

Breakfast is very good with great variety of selection and superior quality on many items – cereals, fruits, hot items, including waffles, cold cuts, etc.

Lively evenings, we were there last Saturday and clubs Dow the street from hotel had music and people dancing in the sidewalk. Only negative item the walls are thin, we could hear the tv in the next room.

The Bogari was quite good, great breakfasts and staff very helpful. Bathroom a bit small but adequate. Only complaint was the noise transfer between the rooms, you can hear most things, and the room next to me had the tv on full volume all the time I was in the room, afternoon to late at night.

Spacious and clean rooms in a great location. Restaurants and grocery store were all within walking distance. The staff were helpful with any questions and had a taxi waiting for us when we were leaving. Had a tour company on site and tours to both Brazil and Argentina were easy to book and pick up was right outside the front door. I’d recommend and would stay again.

This hotel was a good choice for the Brazilian side. It is located in the middle of a busy eating, shopping strip.
One of the reception people spoke excellent English and the tours organiser also had good English and was most helpful.
We enjoyed the pool, breakfast and the location as well as the large room.

This is a simple hotel in the downtown Fox do Iguaçu area. It contains all the basics you’d want from a room: a/c that works, fluffy towels, and it was adequately clean. The bed was ok. The room was large but seemed sparsely furnished/decorated by US standards.

My only suggestion to the hotel would be to place some luggage racks in the rooms so we don’t have to put our bags on the floor.

Breakfast was included and it was great. There is no concierge but people in the front desk were very nice and tried their best to speak English to help us.

Helpful staff - pleasant stay.

Frustrated at check in as we were sent an on line tag check in but despite filling in all in we had to go through the process again late at night. Airport pick up however has great.

The room was more basic than I expected but adequate. The breakfast was very good and staff were excellent, helpful and friendly.

Wonderful 3 star hotel.Front desk very helpful- special thanks to Viktor and Willian.. Can arrange for laundry at a reasonable price. Breakfast very good with plenty of choice. Location central, close to cheap eating choices. Central bus terminal less than 5mins away with direct buses to the falls and airport.
Free shuttle to the hotel- need to arrange beforehand.
Travel agency in the lobby competitive prices , efficient and reliable.
Refrigerator with freezer compartment useful
No kettle in the room, but hot beverages and flavoured water 24
hrs in the lobby. Toiletries very basic- bring your own.
Overall great value for money.

Good choice for Iguazu

Very friendly service and excellent range of food for breakfast. Room was comfortable, a little bit of street noise at night but not bad. Restaurant/room service food was very ordinary, I'd skip it if I visited again.

Airport pickup was forgotten, in spite of clear comms about it, so we lost time and roaming costs sorting it out (there's actually a free phone at the airport if needed, but you have to know that). They reimbursed us for the taxi that we ended up taking, so fair enough.

Great location close to restaurants, Muffato grocery store and the bus station for airport and Brasil Falls. Hotel staff were friendly and the room was well kept. The breakfast buffet was extensive with both hot and cold foods and there is a small fridge in the room. A plus for this hotel are the 3 jacuzzis out back. Great place for the price.

Fabulous in every way. Cheap eats 1 minute away. Hotels tour desk was so helpful. We booked our tickets for everything through her and then she helped us with a taxi to see everything and take us over to the other side. Taxi cost for the day, bird park, helicopter and Brazilian side was 350 Brazilian.

The reason why this place has such high reviews is because the service from staff is 5 star level. The cost for a room for one night is what you pay for a 3 star hotel but you get so much more than you pay for. Room is average, nothing spectacular but it is very clean and everything works as expected. Tv is huge and up to date but no English speaking channels apart from CNN. Great hair dryer. WiFi is good. Breakfast is brilliant, a lot of choice and food quality is good plus they always refill even if you get there just before 10am. There is three outdoor jacuzzis which I never used but they looked like they were in good condition. Location of hotel is also great, just inside the city centre so plenty of shops, chemists, money exchange and food places nearby. The bus station is also a around the corner which is a very cheap way to get to the falls or the bird park. However if you don't want to take the bus, recommend using uber as taxis are expensive.

So glad we booked here. The best service and a delicious breakfast with lots of choices. The hotel also has a restaurant and bar. Easy walking distance to bus terminal to go to the airport and falls. Many amenities around - taxi stand, stores, pharmacies, bakery and restaurants. Lively evening life, but a quiet street.

The Bogari Hotel is a good value and was an excellent choice for our stay in Foz de Iguazzu. Our room, was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and eager to assist. The good included breakfast included scrambled and fried eggs, fruit.fresh orange juice, cereal, yogurt, and a selection of fresh breads and cakes.

The hotel is located in a nice area close to a variety of restaurants and about a 10 minute walk to a grocery store.

The Bogardi turned out to be a jewel downtown, near shopping, transportation, and excellent restaurants with local fare. Price was very reasonable, beds comfortable, air conditioning very good, breakfast and internet (both critical for my work) superb. TV and conversation noise from adjacent room was noticeable but I would definitely choose this hotel again.

Friendly staff from start to finish, very clean, excellent breakfast. Just 3 1/2 blocks from hotel to bus station for $1.25 (US) bus to Falls. Fine local restaurants just 3 doors down from hotel. Staff's English was fine, even helped us negotiate 2 denomination taxi ride for our easy transfer across the river to Argentina side.

Clean budget motel

If you expect anything with more character, comfort, or friendliness than a Motel 6, you will be disappointed. It is simply a place to spend the night.
Clean rooms and linens, good breakfast, good internet. --that's all.
No pools (they have 3 jacuzzis when they keep cold and are supposed to be pools.
Staff is not friendly --just informative.
Another plus: hotel is walking distance to very good restaurants.

Located centrally, with a number of restaurants and shops next door, hop on hop off bus stops outside the hotel.
Excellent tourist desk the lady was extremely helpful and obliging.
Not all staff spoke English so can take a bit more time to check in or get help but all staff were very pleasant and tried to help.
Room was clean but basic on the smaller side however adequate. Pool area was nice and good to have an outdoor space to sit and relax.
Breakfast was very good, a very good range of hot and cold choices.

Convenient and great place to stay in foz iguazu

We stayed one night to see the Brazilian side if iguazu falls. The staff was the nicest, explained where we can take the bus. The hotel is 3 blocks from the bus station. There is a bus to the falls, a bus to the airport, and a bus to Argentinian side of the falls. It is located 2 blocks from a great churesqueria, restaurants, and bars. Great breakfast, comfortable bed.

We stayed 2 nights at Bogari when visiting Iguacu. Great location in centre of town, next door to shopping and restaurants. A noise problem we had on the first night was quickly addressed by staff to our complete satisfaction. Good meal at the restaurant, OK breakfasts and reception staff had good English and were able to answer all our tourism queries. Overall, great value for money.

Exactly what we needed

The hotel grounds are a perfect place to relax on a hot day. The location isn't right isn't right in the middle of town but its only a short drive or bike ride (available at reception) if you go out for dinner. Nearly all the attractions are outside Bonito so a car is recommended.
The staff were all very friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and modern. Highly recommend staying here.

Modest hotel located at the center of Foz de Iguaçu. 2 blocks walking from the main bus station, with public buses to Itaipu dam, Ciudad del Este, Paraguay and Puerto Iguazu, Argentina for 3 Brazilian reales. All you can eat Brazilian BBQ restaurant is 3 walking blocks away. Hotel breakfast is great. Overall very convenient.

Great newer hotel in the center of town. Nice sized rooms, great breakfast buffet plus a nice service at the front desk.
If you are coming to Iguassu only to see the falls, the hotel is located quite far from the Falls and the Park. The taxi is about $15-$20 each way but the hotel has a transportation through the tourism company onsite for $12-15 round trip. There is not much to do in the center of town except enjoying cheap good and drinks at the local restaurants/bars. The center of town is generally very safe.

Seem to be trying, just not yet there....

Mixed feelings about this place. I wasn't aware that they were having a \"soft opening\" when we were there. My main complaint is about the air conditioning. The A/C is my room was very hard to program (the remote was tricky) and then it just totally broke and I woke up during the night and had to get there help. I was pretty annoyed. The fact that the A/C was clearly off in the hallway didn't help. The TV was quite large, but only had about 4 channels. Also, the hotel could really benefit from a nice paint job. I recall the walls were all white - sort of odd. I didn't have breakfast there but my friends did and didn't rate it highly. I will say that the staff left me with a ridiculously tasty box of chocolates after my troubles, and that's always a good sign, so credit to them. I probably wouldn't stay here again, but I'm sure it's fine for a lot of people.

Excellent hotel

This hotel is like new, very clean and well looked after. We had 2 rooms and couldn't fault either. Breakfast has something for everyone, a great start to the day. Staff speak good English and were always helpful and smiling. Its in an excellent location for the main bus station, just a 2 minute walk. If I visit the falls again I will almost certainly be staying at the Bogari hotel.
