Wouldn't be my first choice

Our stay overall was fine, it was a last minute booking when our other nearby stay fell through so we didn't have many options. The condition of the motel was a bit eerie, felt like a renovated inpatient facility or detention center. All that being said, it was surprisingly clean and our sheets were fresh. The A/C unit was falling out of the hole carved in the wall, but it worked and made the room cold as desired. The restaurant/bar closed at 9pm so we weren't able to try the food and drink.

This place is like traveling back in time to the 1980s. All of the complaints about the furniture and facilities being dated are true and that's honestly the best part. These folks could even lean into it a little harder. It's like Twin Peaks, on my way to the bathroom in the adjoining restaurant I found a secret casino. It was wild. Powerful airconditioning, full black out curtains, solid sound proof walls, and heavy furniture. 10/10 will stay again.

I chose this hotel because it advertised as family friendly, said there was an arcade, and that there was a rollaway bed available for $10, microwave in the room, pool tables in the bar.
There was no microwave in the room, no rollaway bed available, the “arcade” was gambling machines, the pool tables were no longer there. The fridge in the room was leaking all over the floor. The balcony felt like it was going to fall out from under my feet. We needed a couple of plates for the room for food, they denied this even though there is an attached restaurant in the hotel.
The front staff was accommodating by giving us a room with two beds, to make up for no rollaway bed.
The bartender was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. The bar was cool and vintage. The room was clean, just needs updating.
I do not appreciate the false advertisement of this place. If it did not have the amenities that were listed, I would not have stayed here. The front staff were somewhat friendly, but didn’t seem to care that we did not have the amenities that were shown.
I would not recommend staying at this establishment.

Je ne recommande absolument pas… la chambre n’etait pas propre… j’ai trouvé des cheveux dans le lit et partout en fait je n’ai meme pas couché la… en mangeant a la table je me suis rendu compte que tout le contour de la table était crotté. Comme si il y avait des crotte de nez ou quelque chose de la meme texture! Il y avais de la moisissure a plusieurs endroit! Il n’y a aucune prise de courant accessible! Jai du deplacer un meuble pour pouvoir brancher mon cellulaire… endroit tres vieux! Pour le prix payé je suis tres tres déçu! C’est le prix d’une “vraie” chambre d’hôtel! 150$ … j’avais l’impression d’être dans un mauvais film d’horreur et ca sentait mauvais. Cigarette mélangée avec une dose des années 70! Vraiment de mauvais gout! La bâtisse a des vitre de petée à quelques endroits!

I usually go there for business but one particular reason why I love going to Penn mass is the staff. All the representatives are welcoming and kind. During my last stay, I obtain a room with a tub and that was so cool hope to get the same next time.

Great spot to crash, fantastic, courteous and sympathetic staff, always there to help when needed. Clean rooms, many stores around such as convenience stores, Uniprix, Jean Coutu, Métro, Dollarstore and a Small mall. Very close to the sanctuary in case you are looking for Jesus and fairly priced.

Its one 9f the worst place i stayed. I need to complained that the room wasn't vacuumed, garbage are still in the room. The bed not sure if its cleaned. The 2 ladies who were present were arguing whose fault etc. I was even asked if i would vacuum the room by myself. We droved 3hrs just to come and rest and was ask to do a task plis the rate of this motel doesn't represent its quality and the lighting was extremely poor (dark hallway). We ended up leaving around 6am. Our body was tired as the bed was extremely poor almost on the floor if you lay down. Unbelievable. Cant recommend this place. Please avoid it.

Where do I start? DON'T STAY AT THIS PLACE! After 5 minutes in shower, water goes ice cold and takes time to readjust. Had to ask twice for towels and clean glasses. One day room never made up. Breakfast OK but what a mess making toast, getting utensils, etc. Lights in first room did not work, got moved ASAP and was only slightly better. Felt like sheets, comforter never washed. Pillows like a flat board. Look elsewhere before even considering this place.

Location worked for us. Easy to get in and out of. Staff were very friendly, but French was difficult for them. Their attitudes more then made up for the language barriers - always smiling and wanting to help.
The motel is in need of some TLC. Everything is very dated. It was clean, but everything smelled musty. Running the fan constantly for two days in our room helped.

The place could use some new wall paper and general beautifying, it is also easy to hear whats going on around, but at the price I paid Off season, it was quite perfect.
The staff is very friendly and helpful even though there is a bit of a language barrier thing.

I recommend this hotel if you Are not the 5 start type.

Lots of stairs to climb. Small room...not very well lit. No fridge...no fan in bathroom and no window. the windows in the other room wouldn't open. some of the staff was very nice, some not so much. Great location...just not a great view.

Really weird and dissapointing

Had a difficult time communicating with any of the staff, didnt speak english or french. We were given options for different rooms but after choosing one we were brought to each room, which was very odd considering it was late at night and we had already booked -- we were just trying to checkin and sleep. They also opened our door before knocking and walked in with blankets we didnt need. Room wasnt horrible

The room was clean and well appointed. Breakfast was brought to you. Two fried eggs, hash browns and bacon. All you wanted of toast, cereal, coffee and juice.
It wasn't posh but it was pleasant enough.

I checked in and showed the woman at the counter my Expedia confirmation, she didn't speak French or English and looked at it but didn't seem to know what to do with it. Then staff (2 of them) woke me up because there was a Canadian number I gave them but a UK number with my Expedia account reservation and they didn't know where the area code +44 was from (because my Expedia is through my UK account but I was traveling with a Canadian sim card so gave them the local number) and therefore were unsure if there were two different people at this near empty motel with the exact same name (including middle name) as me or not.
Then they wanted to change a light bulb in the room but considering they had woken me up so I said no in English and French and shook my head but the guy still tried to come in so I shut the door.

I have been there with my 2 kids. I paid to be there for 2 days but I canceled the second day because the washroom is awful, old, dirty. The reception and our room have an old carpet, smell so bad.
I changed my tickets to come back to my home because my experience in that hotel was too bad.
I do not recommend for anyone to go there.

As wxpected for 55 a night. Very clean amd no issues. Room was basic but again everythig worked. Staff was awesome. Ended up having to check out a day early due to a storm coming and event finishing a day early amd they refunded is a night back at 1230 noon. Unheard of and awesome services!!! Just wish breakfast was more accessable e.i. earlier.. was only from 8 to 10am so didnt get to use it because of the event we were at.

Definitely not worth the money.

Carpets severely stained with long term water damage at door to outside. Carpets severely stained with food, grease, tar and who knows what else. Mouldy smell. Safety chain for external door missing. Bathroom door did not close properly. Hotel never received our reservation from Expedia. Felt sorry for the foreign travelers with whom I met at breakfast and had booked into the same hotel.

We stayed twice here. Once on our way to PEI and once on our way back to Toronto.
The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was included and very filling. The staff was friendly. We had a first floor room and were able to drive up to our room's door.
On our second stay the water pressure was not good but overall we were happy with everything.

Upon arrival the lady at the desk was arguing with her son , they did not receive our booking through booking. Com it took half an hour to check us in , the room was not the cleanest and the water pressure was poor, stains on the carpet and the smell through the motl was not nice . We ordered breakfast in the morning and received hot dogs for sausages , also the seat I sat on fell on the floor , not a very good stay , will not return
