There is NO air conditioning in the rooms and no way to open windows to ventilate. Our bathroom faucet in the bathtub would not shut off. They moved us to a different room and the batteries for the television remote were dead and when I tried to call the front desk, the room phone didn’t work.

Rhe toom was gross. Sand and gravel all over the floor. Severly understaffed. Fully booked hotel worh a single employee on a Saturday night. No maintenance workers and no manager. Rot and mold at the base of the walls, hair in the beds, leaky bath faucets, insufficient breakfast food, expired creamers that curdled in our coffee, trash from other rooms lining the hallways with no housekeeping available until the following day.

An insulting experience overall.

There is dirty and visibly stained carpet all over the place. Don't be fooled about what it says on the website: there is no gym and no pool.The food is safe, but no gourmet either. The door handle was broken, they knew about it but didn't fix it before or during our stay. The sink and the bath were blocked before I arrived. They allow pet without supervision so two dogs in different rooms kept barking throughout the evening at each other even after multiple guest complaints. AVOID AVOID AVOID! Better rooms at local motels. Save money and go eat your breakfast at a local restaurant.

Our room was clean, the beds and pillows were comfortable. In the morning, there was a continental breakfast with a wide variety, which was very good! Cons: The hotel is very large, but the doors near the parking lot were either closed or malfunctioning, which was very inconvenient because it was cold outside, and at night you really didn't know where to go to get in. Another inconvenience was that you couldn't change the room temperature. Finally, the noise was very loud; we had neighbors who were very noisy, and their children were running through the hallways, and it was unbearable. If you're looking for a place to rest for one night, this is a very good option, but only if you're lucky with your neighbors!

Il n’y a pas de chauffage dans la salle de bain, on gèle et dans la chambre soit il fait très froid ou trop chaud, c’est difficile de contrôler la température. Le plancher était très très magané et à remplacer. Le petit déjeuner est bon et il y en a en bonne quantité.

This is a very tired hotel. The bathrooms need a good cleaning and the windows and doors need insulation from the cold. Also, you get a sheet- no duvet, no blanket. This is hardly a 1 star hotel. My friend had ants in her room and another was given a room with severe water damage.

There is potential with this hotel. The pictures are showing the better rooms than what you will get most likely. The room needed a deep clean. The sheets and bedding were clean. But the nooks and cranny’s of the room were not. Not 100% a comfortable stay but it did get the job done. The parking lot was an alluring feature.

The room felt pretty neglected. The paint was peeling in places, the heater was strong but the bottom was so dusty. The shower curtain holder was rusty. The place felt a little uncared for. The mattress comfort was fine, the linens seemed clean. The dining room was large. The breakfast was mediocre. The diner down the street was solid. Hotel is in industrial area, close to Walmart, Costco, other shops and was not far from where we were visiting. Would not visit this hotel again.

#1) Outdoor lock loose and appeared unsafe.
#2) Front desk clerk incapable of engaging in simple English.
#3) Pass keys (magnetic cards) frequently did not allow entry from parking lock once out. Including into room.
Had to get clerk to check them. 2x
#4) No microwaves in rooms. And to find one was difficult because....
#5) ...because the way-finding signage was extremely poorly defined if at all present.
#6) Wheelchair ramp unsafe...in fact possibly hazardous. Cracked and leaning nuel posts, uneven floor boards and loose or detached spindles.
This is definitely a safety hazard and should be attended to immediately.
#7) In room...a couple of spiders and poorly finished bathroom. No privacy between sink for washup and main room.
#8) In room a wad of somebody's hair was lying on the floor completely visible. I'd say the cleaning crew is negligent or uncaring.

Would NOT recommend this hotel.

You can see this hotel was once grand, yet so far from that now. We had an outside door and a hall door that both had gaps, leaving a constant wind tunnel, along with a not required adjoining door, very noisy. There was no way to control heat or air conditioning in the room. It went down to 9°C, a thin sheet and tiny blanket on the bed, and no spare linens, left us freezing. The staff were completely disinterested in providing any assistance, including WiFi password, stacks of room keys on the counter, while staff chatted with friends on the phone, unable to explain where the best place was to park, etc.

The bed was too soft and squeaky every time we move. It felt old and was very uncomfortable. The sink was almost plugged (slow to drain). AC/heat unit smells, heater was not working, we had a thin blanket and was cold at night. There were mold on the silicone in the shower so we did not use.

This was absolutely the worst motel I've ever stayed in. Property is unkempt and in disrepair. Fire alarms sounding when checking in and staff didn't seem to care or explain why. Interior of building is as bad as the exterior, old and in disrepair. Our room was cleaned once in the six days we stayed, even after asking repeatedly for it to be cleaned. Website indicates daily housekeeping, as it should, staff under the impression it was every two days. Key cards stopped working every day and had to reset. And to top it off i believe two staff members were having intercourse in the pool. Unbelievable

This is an older motel. Our first room, the locks did not work after receiving multiple new keys we were locked out of our room with all our stuff in it (tough after a long travel day) and the A/C was very loud.

We were moved to a renovated room, and the room was clean and comfortable.

Neighbours were loud and smoking indoors throughout our stay.

No on-site restaurant or lounge.

Fine spot to overnight.

The new bathroom shower fixture was very good but the shower tub and bathroom were not. The enclosure had damage to the acrylic paneling. The tub did not drain and so you were left standing in water. The room Air conditioning/heating unit had no discernible labels to know how to set the temperature in the room. The phone in the room did not work properly with the indicator light (that the phone was connected) not on. The Wifi, though free, was intermittent, going on and off. Having some work to do...online...this was very disappointing. The bathroom light had a decorative fixture (ring), that fell off. Sound carried too much through the wall from the adjacent room (not untypical for hotels depending on age, but not helpful). The staff were polite and helpful, interacting with me in both French and English. This was good.
The hotel seemed a 'cheap' one stop, overnight type of experience. In that regard it did provide 'shelter'. I did not visit the morning breakfast, so have no comment on this. The room was subpar compared to other Travel lodges I have stayed at, which are not, of course expected to be five star facilities. One other note, the hallways, the one time I traveled through them were dirty, perhaps not unexpected with the nature of the facility but disappointing. I am generally very flexible and 'forgiving' in terms of just having to have a good place to stay for a few nights. In the case of this facility or at least room and utility, it was not good.

We loved the King size bed. We couldn't use the door to go to the car outside. It wouldn't open. I felt if there was a fire it was unsafe and we wouldn't be able escape. We woul have burned to death.

The remote for the TV did not work. We could not do anything with it. I had to unplug the TV to turn it off.

I noticed the carpet in the hallways were badly stained everywhere.

I checked into this property after 10pm. Then around 1 I went to go to bed only to see a cockroach scurrying back toward the headboard. Gone before I could get a picture

The room was horrible. Room was like it was still under construction, not finished. Patched drywall, mold in the shower, shower exhaust definitely not to code as it was partially covered by rain shower head, shower door came off track, missing towel rack, roughed in electrical, the list goes on.
The staff were great though, and the breakfast was good!

I’ll start positive, had a wonderful, hot whirlpool bath and the front desk, once, had a charming gentleman, who listened and helped the same day…unlike all the others. students? Negative, we had no working tv, no room cleaning for a three day stay, coffee in room for one morning only, no garbage bin except a small one in bathroom, no heating just ac, it was cold, thin bedcovers slept in shorts & socks & a sweater. Tried a shower that looked very impressive but the water at the first setting we tried came barreling out of an open side pipe that had no hose attachment. Give me a break!!! This was the worst place we have ever stayed at. A very bland breakfast included didn’t help. Try another hotel!!!

Look up some reviews on trip advisor and you’ll see what is wrong with this hotel. Suspicious behaviour at the front desk. Rude staff, filthy hallways, suspicious individuals on property, mattress had unidentifiable black specks in the crevices. Mattress cover had what appeared to be a blood stain (blotch), that was not washed clean. Scratches and scuff marks along dirty carpeted hallways. Most unacceptable Motel/hotel I have ever
Walked into. Staff (totally unprofessional), were lacking manners and speaking what appeared to be an African language between themselves (in relation to our stay). I asked for the Managers name and the guy behind counter refused to provide that and gave me a generic card to call hotel back next day. Er also had problem asking for refund but I sorted that out with Expedia that night.
