IF YOU HAD TO STAY - ONLY ONE NIGHT!

The hotel seems to very nice, but there was no cleaning service for first 3 days. Wifi is very slow or non-existent. The bed is solid as a rock and had not much sleep.

I booked a family room for one night for me and my family. The room was awful. Cigarette smell everywhere, bathroom was disgusting, I asked for a baby cot at least 7 days in advance but was told that their was none, and that it was given away. Our 1 year old had to sleep between us, I therefore only slept 5 hours. Luckily enough I only booked 1 night.

This is a good hotel very close to the Baseme subway and train station. The water was hot and the bedsheets clean. There is even a pot to make tea in the room, along with a mini-refrigerator. The free buffet breakfast was good as well.
Additionally, they do offer excursions to the main tourist sites out of town for a reasonable price. I would easily stay here again for the price offered.

Unfortunately this is my first bad review. I was debating if I should even write it but then I thought I don’t want anyone else to be in a situation that I was in especially someone with children. The pictures they have on the site are taken years ago because the hotel is in horrible condition. The room reeked of cigarette smell. We asked to be moved they didn’t want to help us in anyway. Mind you we don’t smoke and we we’re staying there with our son and daughter. The room was filthy. There were stains all over the room. Blood stains on the floor. We found used tissues in the bedding of one bed. The sheets were stained. The furniture was stained. The room seemed like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while. There was no hot water. No light in the room and the walls seemed to be paper thin. There was someone arguing until early morning. The elevator is next to the room and you feel and hear the noise. The Wi-Fi worked for 15 minutes then it completely stopped. Even the satellite tv stopped working. We couldn’t even shower because the bathroom was that dirty. We were stuck I couldn’t find another room and I’m sure they wouldn’t have refunded our money. Do yourself a favor and don’t go to that hotel. The only positive thing about this hotel was the parking person. He was very nice. I just wish I could post the pictures of this as well.

This hotel is just barely OK. The rooms are outdated and dirty. The hallways are dirty and noisy. The staff was not friendly, nor they unfriendly just OK. The area is very busy and noisy. I would not stay this hotel again I would stay closer to the water.

My check-in was not at all smooth and I was very tired after an 8-hour car journey and having messaged ahead of my arrival time.

By the end of my 3-night stay I had a much better feeling about this hotel. I know that management was trying to improve my stay after the rocky start.

Unfortunately, the wifi is really poor - so much so that in the initial room I was in none of my 3 devices could even connect to it! When moved to a 1st floor room I could connect but the speeds were horribly slow and sometimes clipped out altogether.

I was also surprised that the room safes are not working!
It seemed to me that the hotel security is really good and the employees very trustworthy so perhaps they should not advertise 'in room safes'.

Otherwise, the bed was SUPER comfortable and the shower was TOPS!

Some of the staff were just wonderful and made my stay enjoyable although I was stressed out by the hiccups during my arrival.

I strongly recommend this hotel for a stay of 1-3 nights and you will be very conveniently located and comfortable.

Hotel is renovated, located in center. I advise to go to park and walk the streets in that area. Main streets are too crowded and chaotic. I booked Twin category in both cases. That is definitely better than Double or Single but has small shower cabin. In all shower cabins here there is no shelf for soap/shampoo. Breakfast is good. Had to re-charge the room card every 1-2 days, as it constantly stops working.

What a gem of a hotel

Realy easy to get here from airport, havaas bus stops a short block away.
Great room, great price!
Nice breakfast, very fancy breakfast room.
The staff at this hotel are just the best, they all go out of their way to make sure your every question and need is taken care of. Nothing is too much for this hotel to help you out with.
Very central to all your tourist needs.

Hotel Zeybek is convenient located near the Izmir station and bazar. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. However, our room was dirty. It had obviously not been vacuumed under the bed. The towels were threadbare. Our window looked onto a dirty airshaft. The lobby and breakfast area spelled like cigarettes. We arrived at 1:00 AM after a delayed flight and long taxi ride, so we were too tired to care about any of these shortcomings, but they may bother guests booking a longer stay.

Hotel Zeybek was the second stop on my trip. The room was clean and comfortable. I was pleased with the size of the room as well. The area was interesting. The location was geographically convenient. It was located near the shore and bus/metro station. Bazaars, restaurants and stores are within walking distance. There was a large number of refugees in the area and they appeared to be renting and sharing rooms in the hotel. Because there was so much traffic in and out of the hotel I did feel a little less safe than I had at other hotels in Turkey. I have to say that the staff was extraordinary. Hotels.com messed up my group's reservation and when we arrived the hotel had no knowledge that we were arriving that day. The guy got us a room at another hotel nearby..paid for the night for each of us, rode in the taxi to get us to the other hotel and paid for it , then paid for and had a taxi pick us up the next day to take us back to his hotel..can't beat that kind of service!

Metro to airport was 30mins and 10 TL
we had room nos. 401 on 4th floor and it was very spacious and the shower was too good, with huge tub bath which had jet sprays in it.
The hotel provided very good breakfast.
Tiny fridge in the room, where we could our fruit etc.
Supermarkets was 2mins from hotel and good resturants around the hotel.
Cannot fault the hotel at all, and would definately stay there again.

Doesn`t seem like its a big concern for the hotel management. There are no alarm clocks, coffee machine or an iron. This hotel definitely needs to modernize rooms.

Oda soğuktu, klimayla ısınmaya çalıştık ama İzmir gibi bir şehirde yinede gece üşüdük. Doğru dürüst uyku tutmadı. Kalvaltı zayıftı. Kahvaltı salonuda soğuktu. Maalesef ilk ve son kalışımız oldu.

Our check in was very late due to long journey . The room smelled cigarettes it was so strong and i have headaches. I have child inside! I already paid full for two days for 2adults and 1child. They gave me a room that is not the same like the pictures. It was last minute setup bed that is not made up no duvet only sheets that layers on top of it! Bed is on the floor. I told the receptionist boy on the night . At first he denied my booking was 2 adults and one child but it is clearly my booking stated that. He cant do anything more because its late and fully book hotel. Next morning at 8 am i met the Receptionist the girl and she was very rude. ( I thought she was the one who was hanged up my phone yesterday afternoon to tell my late arrival.) She denied me my room smelled cigarettes and she said no no no before i even finished speaking. And she said the rest of the room will be the same. My child and i have runny nose that morning. Finally after im insisting she said ok after 11 i will have another room ready. After that tense argument we went for breakfast. It was a dreadful breakfast. It was not tasty at all! While having a tea and digesting all the experience that morning, the room, the rudeness, the service, bad breakfast & importantly my child’s health, i decided i went out on 9 am to find another hotel nearby. I checked out one day early and I am still asking for my refund till this day!

Nicht empfehlenswert, keine Ahnung warum expedia sowas im Programm hat und denn Gästen spwas anmuten kann. Zimmer wechseln war nicht möglich, da angeblich alle Zimmer so aussehen würden.

Primero, las fotos no corresponden, desayuno pobre, sin café, Wifi pésimo, televisión pequeña y control dañado, sin buena iluminación en el baño, toallas en mal estado, las tarjetas de las puertas hay que cargarlas.. no existe en el lobby Star para wifi con equipos.. no tiene la gentileza de llamar un taxi.. no lo hacen!! Este hotel no lo recomiendo..

Das Standardzimmer ist definitiv klein aber gut ausgestattet. Das Personal und Service ist hervorragend. Das Frühstück ist leider schlecht ausgefallen und nicht empfehlenswert.

Zu Anfang hatten wir Beanstandungen. Der sehr aufmerksame Mitarbeiter hat uns aber sofort ein neues Zimmer gegeben. Es war ok, nur das Bad hatte einen zu hohen Einstieg. Lage ist super.Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll.

Birçok otelde kaldım. Hizmet, kalite ve fiyat açısından çok çok daha iyiydi, çalışan arkadaşlar güler yüzlü ve yardımcı oluyorlar.

Das Hotel ist schrecklich. Liegt in einer sehr schlimmen Gasse. Die Geschäfte rund um das Hotel sind Betrüger. Die Siesta Bar neben dran verlangte für 2 Redbull ca. 100€

Otelin olduğu sokak maalesef aile için uygun değil.Aile olarak gidiyorsanız otelin karşısında bulunan pavyon sizi rahatsız edebilir.Oda idare eder ama bir rutubet kokusu vardı.Kalfaltı ise özensizdi.Yumurta sosis gibi pişirilmiş ürünler soğuktu. Süt ise ekşiydi.Komi arkadaş çok güleryüzle ve pozitif birisiydi tek olumlu notumda ona

The new hotel zeybek - izmir

Aile odasinda kaldik, 4 ayrı yan yana tek kisilik yatak vardı, banyo tuvalet bir ve camdan surmeli olan kapısı tam kapanmadigindan biri tuvaletini yaparken digeri kafasını o tarafa uzatsa görebiliyor, cok tuhaf bir deneyim oldu. Oda temizligi fena degildi, yatak oldukca rahattı, odamız havalandırma bosluguna bakiyordu ve klima sesleri cok rahatsiz edici idi.

- Toiletten waren kaputt, Spülung funktioniert nur nach Lust und Laune, Spülbecken und Wasserhahn ebenso.
-dicke Staubschicht auf den Kopfteilen der Betten.
- in den Zimmern wird oder wurde geraucht so das es sehr schlecht riecht .
- bei später Anreise wird es problematisch ist dem Warmwasser zum duschen.
Alles in allem das Geld und keinen Fall wert. Weit weit weg von Sauberkeit und Hygiene.

Temiz, Merkeze Ulaşımı Kolay

Otel ulaşım noktalarına kolaylığı yönünden iyi konumlanmış. Otelin konumu, toplum ulaşım araçlarına yakın Konak, Alsancak gibi yerlere en fazla 10 dakikada ulaşılabilir. Oda içindeki eşyalar yeniydi. Oda temizliği çok başarılıydı. Fiyat performans yönünden oldukça başarılı. Akşamdan akşama dinlenmek amaçlı otel kullanımlarında kesinlikle beklentiyi karşılayacaktır. Otel dışında, bölgeye ilk kez gelenler açısından müzikhol, pavyon gibi işletmeler de bulunduğundan gece insan sıklığı azalıyor. Konaklama açısından ulaşım kolaylığı ve temizliği açısından tavsiye ederim.
